Food Suggestions to Maintain Cholesterol Level at MCDONALD'S
I've been to a lot of McDonalds but this one is sketchy as hell. It's like a hotel for the homeless. A friend and I went in there to get breakfast and the general vibe felt very unsafe. A guy who looked like he was seriously dope sick was sleeping in there, the manager came over and yelled at him to wake up the next thing he does is stick his hands down his pants and starts playing with himself. The food and the people who worked there were fine but the clientele was wacky. I went into the bathroom to use the restroom and a guy was shaving. Would not take women or children here, too uncertain.

While strolling around town I needed something yummy to snack on. Service was fast and the employee that took my order was very friendly. Unfortunately, the interior has been recently updated but for some reason some of the chairs have already been ripped up and are covered in green duct tape. There is a TV in there which is nice. Bathroom was clean.

It is a smaller, more recently renovated McDonald's. While like some of the reviews mention there are some homeless people inside or outside, it isn't too bad, you also have professionals from the university, students, people from nearby hotels, etc. There was a very nice young lady who worked the register in the morning, and for the most part they were pretty quick, and my order was always correct. Good to have a known quantity when you're traveling.... They have a TV with the audio on in the dining room, which is a little different, but helpful. They also situated at least a couple of the booths to be near an outlet for charging your electronic gear. I would imagine in the summer this is a good place to grab a bite and walk around in the nearby park?

Difficult getting in driveway off of West End and finding parking. They really should work on the entrance to the parking lot. and the floors and tables are dirty but great location on West End across from Vandy. Plus, free wifi and long hours. I think they're open 24/7...

McDonald's a always a good travel stop on the long hauls and I understand that these franchises vary from town to town and city McD's can be very busy. Noted and expected. We were just very disappointed with the courtesy (or lack thereof) of the counter staff. Mumbling, no eye contact, snippy with everyone. Looooonggg waits by everyone after they ordered seemed to be the norm around here, as everyone just waited in an orderly fashion. First time I saw the patrons acting right and the staff acting up. I won't stop there again if I pass through Nashville, but I just hope this location remembers that you should each customer with a smile, cuz you may not get a 2nd chance to undo damage. And no one wants to be a bad memory. Good location, though, by Centennial Park. Convenient.

I know it's bad, but I can't help it. I feel like the food has improved in the past few years. It's comfort food really... Big Mac, Fries, Coke and an Apple pie... I'm definitely a fan... :)

The inside is cramped and has an uncomfortable vibe from the people that like to lurk around there but the food has always been good. Parking is bad on busy days but the location itself is very busy. The drive through I have no complaints since it was packed and I got through it faster than most empty ones and the food again was good. I will return there again but only go through the drive through

Poor service. They don't know how to deal with excessive foot traffic. The employees go to the beat to their own drum and don't have any sense of urgency to make the "fast food" experience s fast one. Their drive thru has two speakers which is supposed to make the ordering process faster, however not having the double lanes it really defeats the purpose. They constantly have you pull thru and park and someone brings your food out to you. If I wanted service like this I would go to sonic.

I found this place traveling and it said they has a play place so my cousin could get some energy out. We went out of out way and showed up I no play place. Serious disappointment.

Until we're settled in, it'll be fast food for the time being. I had intended to go to Hog Heaven, but since they don't open on Sundays, I went next door to McD's, instead. I liked the place. It was very clean, the cashiers were friendly, and there were plenty of seating. Standard McDonald's fare. Which is what I like about chains -- you know what you're getting.

For the antisocial person who wants greasy food - this is the drive through for you! Every delicious burger and fry is almost exactly the same due to ample preservatives in every bite. From ordering to food delivery it only took 2 minutes - with only 30 seconds of actual human contact. Its not fancy and certainly not healthy - but damn is it tasty and consistent.

Meh. I've experienced better is right. This McDonalds is always dirty and the people that work there always look like they do not care! Which they do not, my order is always wrong and EVERY TIME I go in the drive thru I have to pull up and wait on the food. It is SO BUSY, and with the slow people inside it does not get any better. This is not fast food, it's a nightmare!

I NEVER review chains since you always know what you're going to get when you go there. Also, I hate fast food so it's pointless giving places 1-3 stars. However, I was very impressed with this McDonalds, so I feel it deserves a good rating. My friend and I were staying at the Vandy Marriott for the CMA fest, and overslept the 1030 breakfast cutoff. However, we were craving Egg McMuffins. This McDonalds gave us breakfast 30-45 minutes after the cutoff. I don't know if this is just a 'southern hospitality' thing, but this never happens in the west!

Don't give money to the homeless so they can buy booze. Buy them a couple burgers and fries at this newly remodeled midtown McDonalds. The Ronald people razed the old one to the ground and put up a more sterile one. So next time you get panhandled for "money for food" in Centennial Park, take time to walk across the street to mickey d's and help those poor souls with food.
