Great sushi! Great service! My personal favorite, house salad with creamy dressing and Kohana roll :)

This used to be my favorite Sushi spot hands down. Keywords: "used-to-be." After having bad experiences with the food multiple times in a row, it was no longer on my list of favs and I stopped going there for a while. Well, today, I decided to give them another chance and went back for lunch. Today's experience made me remember all of the reasons why I stopped going there in the first place. I went for lunch, and just as I used to, I got the same sushi rolls I always get: Philly & crunchy shrimp. Well, both rolls were cold. I'm no sushi connoisseur by any means, but I've eaten it long enough to know its not supposed to be cold. Who wants to eat cold, raw fish and rice? On top of that, they just did not taste well. I've had those same two rolls many times over at many different places and would say those were the worse I've ever had from anywhere else. I didn't even eat half of my order, not because I wasn't hungry but because it wasn't good. On top of that, I was also on my lunch break from work and the waittress seemed to take her sweet time & pay no mind to that fact. I'm glad I paid lunch menu prices because I would have really been upset had it been dinner and full price! Anyway, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but will definitely be staying away for good this time.

Incredibly good sushi. The rolls are large and well worth the money. There is a great fish to rice ratio and the sauces are very flavorful.

This is where I bring my females on dates. Very relaxed atmosphere, best sushi, and polite attractive employees. I definitely recommend the Phoenix or Volcano roll

If I could give it no stars I would. I got food poisoning but that's not all. Husband ordered crispy tofu with broccoli. It wasn't crispy and it had no broccoli. I got chicken teryaki. After one bite I stopped eating it. After one bite of his tofu husband stopped eating it. The waitress never asked how everything was she just went straight to the check like she knew the food was bad so why bother asking right? 12 hours later I am puking out my brains. I knew ythe chicken tasted like it was left out for too long and should have demanded to not pay but we are too nice.

Yum! Was on a visit while in TN, visiting from NYC. If I lived closer, I'd be in serious trouble bc I'd probably gain 100+ lbs. here. The rolls are fancy, tasty, and flavorful. The service is fantastic and personable. My toddler had her fill of her favorite miso soup with tofu, stir fried noodles, and avocado rolls. The rest of us splurged on Kohana rolls, drain rolls, and a few other specialty rolls I can't remember the names of (but I took photos!). Whichever roll had crawfish in it was amazing, wish I could remember the name of it. If you're in the Nashville burbs, make sure you stop by. It's worth the trip.

Don't do it! Dine elsewhere! Several friends and I had lunch here. Service was competent and lunch specials were moderately priced. But all the tastes were wrong. Ginger dressing tasted like corn syrup. Vegetable roll tasted like frozen spinach. Salmon roll wasn't awful but portion was minuscule. Very disappointing.

I have been here several times in the past and although the prices were outrageous, food was good. The past two times, however, it has been just horrible. Four of us ate there today for Sunday lunch, bill was 85 (no alcohol) and although the sushi was passable, the other items were things I would have thrown in the trash if I had made it at home. Fried rice was unbearably salty and had little rock hard crunchy pieces of something in it, with steak that was so tough I could not chew it. Edamame was over cooked (who can do that to edamame? How hard can it be?) and my husband's teriyaki ribeye was fatty and overloaded with sticky sauce... No vegetables on plate. I will not return. It is a shame that this attractive restaurant in a great location cannot get its act together to make decent food.

I like it here. Nice decor. Good service and reasonably priced food. It fresh and taste

I ordered teriyaki chicken and fried rice and was very angry when I was given a piece of plain grilled chicken and white rice. Any other japanese restaurant I've ever been to and ordered teriyaki chicken, I've gotten a mix of rice, veggies, and chicken with teriyaki sauce. When I called to complain (we ordered our dinner to-go) I was told, "Well, that's just how ours is. Sorry." The manager could've cared less. I am angry (and hungry after paying $15 for plain grilled chicken) and we will not be back.

Came with friends on a Friday night, and it was surprisingly empty. As in the four of us and maybe two other couples. We ordered a ton of rolls to share (maybe 5-6?). They were good, and the service was good. Nothing stellar, nothing super memorable or creative, but solid. It has a modern, minimalist feel with long rows of tables, booths on one side and chairs on the other, so it definitely lacked the atmosphere of some of the other sushi places in town.

Stumbled in here after leaving the mall. Amazing sushi and very sweet owner. Sat at the bar and had a glass of wine waiting for my take out order. Chatted with the owner/sushi chef for a bit. Very modern and classy inside. Will definitely go back. Yum!!
