WARNING: I have surprisingly consumed a lot of authentic Asian food outside of Nashville and I know what it is supposed to taste like. Therefore, I am biased in my opinion. And I have been to much better Asian buffets. So apparently my friends had seen a commercial on television and the alluring shots of hundreds of dishes convinced them to check out the buffet. Somehow they dragged me out there too. The restaurant is gigantic. It is like the Titanic of buffets--just due to sheer size. They have rows of selections and enormously wide and generous seating areas. Unfortunately, size isn't everything in the world. And, honestly, the food just didn't match up to what I've experienced at other inexpensive Asian buffets. I think by trying to tackle and handle SO many different foods, the quality of each just doesn't match up. They offer a variety of American-style Chinese food, hibachi-style made-to-order grilling, various American selections, questionable sushi, desserts, fresh fruit, ice cream, and some more exotic Chinese selections like frog legs and crawfish. None of the dishes really stood out as excellent, however. The frog legs were over-cooked, the raw sushi had a strange texture of mush (not a good sign for freshness), and even the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ was unbearably over salty and garlicky (I am actually a huge fan of garlic, but when I asked for teriyaki sauce and a little bit of garlic with my order, the garlic overwhelmed my palette to a point where I could barely taste other foods). I will admit that some of the vegetable stir-fry dishes were pretty good and so were the barbecue ribs--very juicy and moist. Also, I was surprised by the wide selection of fresh fruit---although curious why anyone would choose the canned pineapple over the fresh pineapple. But, overall, I was not impressed. Yes, you will be full when you leave this restaurant. But, there is a difference between being physically full and being satisfied. And I just wasn't satisfied when I left. I think that the establishment has the potential to improve and I applaud its efforts--because honestly, Nashville needs to step it up in the realm of Asian cuisine--but I would prefer it if they cut down on the variety and instead worked on the quality of individual dishes. Ambitious effort, but needs some improvement.

I was not looking forward to going to this restaurant but I had offered to take someone "where ever" he wanted to go. He picked this place. I was thinking the food would be bland, stale and on the verge of getting you sick. I was basically wrong. The place is very large. It would hold almost any size party - a family reunion, a boy scout meeting and church get together. It is well lit, attractive and comfortable. There are nine large food areas with "you name it." The sushi was surprisingly good. Many things I ate were way too salty for me, but the salt and pepper shrimp as great. The onion rings were still crispy and the spare ribs were tasty but fatty. The wait staff was very attentive. Our lady brought us soda three times. There was plenty of customers. They were from all over world. So if you are looking to eat about twice the daily calories suggested in a day for under $10, give this place a try. I think you will find some items are a B but some are a D, so the average is a C.

This is the best buffet I've ever been to in my entire life. They have almost all kinds of food that exist on planet earth. Great customer service, large healthy food selection, extremely cheap pricing and clean restrooms. I recommend it to everyone!

I didn't really want to come here, but my friend wanted an all-you-can-eat buffet, and this was the first one we drove by. Not the best way to pick a restaurant. So we drive to the back of the run-down shopping center and the outside of the restaurant just screams mediocrity. Then I step inside and -- BAM -- this place is pretty cool. It's clean, bright, with lots of colors, and shiny buffet bars as far as the eye can see. The food was quite good compared to other Chinese buffets, where I seem to be eating a lot nowadays. The sushi was a notch above the average place, though not as good as Koi (where I ate last night). The entrees were good, but I was disappointed at how much American food was there -- they had an entire section devoted to barbecue. Meanwhile, the selection of Chinese food seemed a bit limited and repetitious. A lot of breaded chicken pieces in sesame/Tso/etc. sauce. And lots of broccoli. But it all was fresh, hot, and tasty. The place was clean and quite well kept. Even the bathroom -- the litmus test for restaurant cleanliness -- was clean. And service was good. I'll be back.

We loved this place. Have been looking for a good chinese buffet, as it is my son's favorite and keep getting disappointed, but this place def did not! A little bit of everything PLUS! They had a phenomenal little bbq section and the hibachi was free with the buffet! Our table was clean, the waitress was kind and attentive. Spring rolls were yummy. Plenty of American food for the picky eaters and coconut shrimp were yummy and HUGE. Very good chinese buffet!

I like to go there for lunch, they are always busy during the lunch, that means the food is fresh. Many different variety of food, sometimes they even have some authentic Chinese dishes at the buffet. Don't forget to get the coupon if you are going.

Very large buffet, lots of seating and is good for larger groups. They have eight or nine buffet tables which gives a good amount of variety. They also have a pretty big sushi offering as well as cooked to order hibachi. There was a good amount of non Chinese food, including roast, pizza, Mac and cheese, etc. They seem to stay pretty busy, lots of families and local workers on lunch. Service was the only real downfall of the experience. They have many servers but it seemed my table fell in the no man's land of assigned sections. It took a good 10-15 minutes to get our bill and we never got refills while we were there. Food is pretty decent and the price for lunch was affordable so it's definitely somewhere I would eat again if in the area.

  • Mitch R.

I can honestly rate this as probably the best Chinese buffet in town their always busy so the food alway seems to be pretty fresh. Prices pretty standard and the staff is fast and efficient. Their is a vast array of different things available at the buffet and they will cook to order if that what you want. What else can you ask for.

Pretty exceptional for a buffet. Plenty of seating, good service, Vegas buffet type ambiance. I've enjoyed every trip here. The food is usually turned quick and fresh. The service is good, refills are plenty. I love the diversity at this restaurant and it's usually a family friendly crowd. Btw, it's close to the zoo if your planning a trip to see the animals.

I go to this place sometimes & they don't really have such a selection that I like. I'd advise you to go to place like Koi in Hermitage. The weekday nights aren't bad at all compared to like the weekends. I went yesterday for lunch & there were a lot of families & the food just didn't seem all the great. So it has to do when you & what times you go. Oh & they have a lot more selection of sushi out on the weekends!

  • Gabriela P.

I've been here a couple of times and 90% of the time food tasted old, from fruits to seafood to vegetables, it just tasted bad. I think price is ok but food quality has to improve, they do have a lot of customers so I am guessing this is not the case every day but still they shouldn't have old food out.

Visited here for the first time tonight. I'll start of by saying the inside of the restaurant is pretty nice. The buffet is large and has a good selection. There's a grill and a place for sushi which was a nice addition. The food was ok. The first plate i got had one item that was a little cold. The second plate was better and tasted like it was made fresh. It's your typical American style Chinese buffet, but not a bad thing. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. I might come here again if I'm in the area.

Just went for the first time for some lunch. Keep in mind, they charge dinner prices all day Sunday instead of lunch prices like the other days. It was AMAZING. I will admit that I've never been to a Chinese buffet, but I have been to places like Golden Corral and Shoney's. This blew those out of the water. It had it's share of Chinese food, as it should, but it had so much more. They had a ton of American cuisine too. Let me just say, their rolls they had were the best I have ever had, anywhere. They've got Chinese, a *good* salad bar, BBQ, a hibachi bar, lots of (mostly Chinese) desserts, real ice cream, and more. The table service was great, they quickly clear the table and refill drinks while you are up. There is a HUGE amount of seating. Everywhere I turned, there was another room of seats. Very clean, and a very diverse crowd. Lots of kids too! You really can't beat a buffet like this, and only $11ish after taxes!

This review is really written by my 2 year old toddler. It's his favorite restaurant when he is really hungry, the word "buffet" comes out and we have to take him here. He then eats about three plates of yellow fried rice, bbq chicken, and the lo mein. It has a great international selection (not just Chinese), which includes plantains, fresh seafood, whole fried fish, bbq meat, and just everything you can almost think of. What I love about it is you always get seated right away, no hassle. The servers are prompt, sometimes friendly, but always busy trying to clean or pick up your empty plate. It's one of the largest buffet I've seen. I like that it is on Nolensville Rd, which I call the international rainbow road.

I went there during a trip for work and was checking out different places to eat in Nashville, we went around 3 pm right before the cut off time for dinner. I have to say this is probably the biggest most diverse buffet I have ever seen ( for a Chinese buffet in acuity other than Vegas) They have everything and anything you can think off....fish, desert, meats, sushi, Korean, soups, even Spanish food! Oysters, shrimp, whole fish, clams, all kinds of noodles...WHAT CAN I SAY I ATE TIL I COULDN'T EAT ANYMORE!!!!!

  • Desi R.

I really didn't like this place. Low quality frozen meat on the hibachi bar, kinda dirty, lots of kids running around. Fruit isn't fresh either. If you want good Chinese buffet, drive out to Madison.

I am not a huge fan of buffets overall but this one was good. There was a ton of stuff from sushi to Mac and cheese, Chinese dishes, American food , just tons of stuff. The restaurant is very large with lots of tables and booths. Service is friendly and food is okay.

Best bang for your buck! Their sushi is surprisingly great for a buffet! The hibachi bar is great too and free plus a tip if you choose (and u should) :) We eat here often.

The best (and newest as of January 2012) asian buffet in Nashville. Fair warning, the decor and sheer size is, indeed casino like. I mean, don't take a date here ferchrissakes, but if you're hangin' with a diverse group of palates or treating that one friend with a hollow leg to dinner you can't go wrong with a $10 buffet which includes freshly made hibachi foods, sushi and surprisingly alright American staples like roast beef and garlic bread. My favorites are the hibachi BBQ pork, the black bean paste dumplin's and the fairy extensive selection of decent (not excellent mind you) sushi. A word on the sushi - they actually have a guy back there making it as you watch - no rubberiness here. The things they could improve on are the soups and dessert selection. These include your basic luke warm Hot and Sour and Wonton varietals and those stale pre-packaged weirdly colored cakes and jello for sweets. You can even save a dollar combing through the free ads that come weekly in the mail. Who doesn't love coupons?

Well, it's about as good as a buffet can be. The food is always hot, and you can always find something delicious from peel and eat shrimp and baby clams, to fresh stir-fried vegetables and fried rice. There is a huge spread of fresh fruit and desert, and numerous salad options. I'm sure we will keep going back.

  • Lei G.

Very clean and well kept, so as their bathrooms which are a major plus. The buffet is well stocked but the sushi area was not so delighting at the hour we came in around 8pm. The sushi tasted kind of funny, which made me think that it could have been out for a few hours. The service was okay. Would definitely come back but maybe at a different time of the day.

  • Michelle P.

I've eaten here a few times with my husband. It's clean and they keep the buffet well stocked. I am not a fan though. I usually just eat the shrimp and vegetables. The other selections sort of look unrecognizable. I just can't eat chicken that doesn't look like chicken. My husband loves the place though. The plus is if you are hungry and not picky you can eat as much as you want for 10 dollars. I'm sure I'll end up here again with the husband. I'll just stick to my peel and eat shrimp, veggies and rice.

The google reviews for this place were correct. The people outside were very sketchy and then I was being rushed while eating. I rarely go to buffets, last time I went was about 4 months ago and it had been a couple of years before that time! But when I do go, I expect to be able to eat. When I was on my third plate I was already being rushed to pay. (They asked me twice) I only had one more plate after that which was dessert, and I could tell the waitress was staring at me. I wouldnt mind it if they raised the price a few more dollars, but setting it at 10 bucks and then rushing you is unacceptable to me. As far as the food, it was just ok. It was what I expected for the price, but due to the rushing I will not be back.

Picking my meat and veggies for the hibachi grill makes it a for sure 3 1/2 star buffet. Otherwise its just a giant buffet setup though the best in south Nashville. But still basically a buffet, for all that implies. It was a bit of a ride over the roads but I finally found it. The hosts were nice and the food was presentable to. American and Japanese food found its place with the rest on the mainly Chinese food stations. Sushi, tex mex and pepperoni pizza there are worth skipping. Otherwise its worth over $7 including the hibachi grill.

If only there was less than one star to rate this place. When it first opened, it was awesome! Over the years we have been back several times but each time the food has gotten a little worse. We took a break for a while and went back last night. It was horrible. My family of four got plates of food and almost all of it was over cooked or just nasty. My kids ate plain noodles, I could only eat a couple pieces of general's chicken and my wife barely ate. The hibachi grill food ended up being gummy and tasteless. I complained to waitress...nothing. I went to pay my $53 bill and complained to Amy who is manager. She argued with me and refused to give me the owners name. I finally got his name and will be calling him tomorrow. I thought she would have at least given us a discount or an apology. Told her of the history we had with the place. She responded that maybe my taste had changed(yes that really happened). The waitress could verify we hardly ate anything. There was no apology, no discount and she treated me like trash. We will never be back!! Please don't go and waste your hard earned money on this horrible food!!! There is a great place in Smyrna (Asuka) and they will earn our dedicated business. I predict it won't be long before the Hibachi Grill closes it's doors!!

You figure it happens occasionally, especially with buffet sushi, but you never figure it would happen to you. I put a piece of turned salmon nigiri into my mouth during my last dining experience here (and I do mean my last). If you've never experienced the sensation, aroma, and flavor of spoiled raw salmon, take my word for it, it's horrible. The memory alone is spurring my gag reflex as I write this. If you have to come here, don't trust the sushi --even if you've had it before and it's been fine. That piece of salmon was a game changer for me.

Very disappointing. When this place first open it was super. Good tasting, large varied selection and fresh, clean buffet table. Sadly, I cannot report the same today. The choice are not as good. The is way too much heavy processed, fried (kid) crap. All the stuff you can get the your local frozen section of the grocery. The sushi is wrapped poorly & lacking in diversity. The food stays on the buffet far to long too. Sadly, I will not be returning.

So after the suggesting of a former co-worker of mine, my fiance, my grandma and I tried this place. While the co-worker had raved about it, we were all less than impressed. In comparison to Koi, which for my fiance and me is still the best Asian Buffet in Middle Tennessee (That we have been to), Supreme Buffet should be renamed, Hibachi Grill and Average Buffet. Their sushi selection was a sad sight with very few options and overstuffed rolls. Like Asihii, their hibachi grill was did not have someone manning it the entire time while we were there and their regular buffet options lacked flavor. Overall we were very disappointed and will not be returning. In the end, if you want a place with Supreme decor, which is where they seem to have spent most of their money, then Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet is for you, just don't expect the food to match.

For the life of me, I don't know why I keep letting my roommates drag me here. If there's a restaurant that defines mediocrity, it's got to be this one. I'll start with the positives: it's all you can eat for $10. It's hard to complain about that. If you're hungry, you can get your fill here for cheap. And while most of the food is passable at best, I actually enjoy their sushi (which seems like it should be the sketchiest option). And the service is all you need from a buffet - they get your drinks to you quickly and get out of your way. It's also quite large and open, so it's great for big groups. But since all you can eat experiences rely entirely on eating everything in sight, Hibachi just doesn't do it for me. I have to give them credit for variety - among the Asian cuisine sit pizza, chicken tenders, french fries, mashed potatoes... pretty much everything. But nothing good comes from the vast array of options. Nothing is particularly good, though a few things work. Stick with the "normal items" - egg rolls, chicken broccoli, etc. Trying to branch out will leave you disappointed. I'm sure there's a good buffet in Nashville, but this isn't it. But hey - it's Nolensville Rd, I don't know what else I expected. Come here for a big, cheap meal, but don't count on feeling great when you leave.

Nashville doesn't really have that many good Chinese restaurants, but Hibachi Grill is pretty good. You can't do better for the price of dinner. Its $8.99 per person and the place is HUGE! They have so many selections and the servers are friendly. Their steamed sea bass, steak, ribs and multiple chicken dishes are great. The billboards lured me in, but when I finally found the restaurant, I was horrified by the surrounding neighborhood. Give it a chance though because its really nice inside and of course clean. Hibachi Grill is the best buffet I've ever been to.

In the two-week period before my debit card was abused for $589 in fraudulent payments to Comcast, NES Power, and Cricket, the only times my crd was not within my possession was when I paid for meals at this place. Be very careful!!!

The only thing missing from this was a high C over C to make it into a casino mega-buffet. The food here, it was good and properly heated... usually in a buffet of this magnitude the food is either good, or it's hot. Usually not both. While I would not say anything I had was over the top excellent, there was nothing that I went away with regretting that I had eaten. When I went the place was fairly busy, I'd say in the nature of 140 people were there, but it was so large that other than the occasional dance you would do at any of their 8 main serving stations, and the occasional child who was being dragged to a table, you did not encounter a lot of cram. They also had 2 people rolling sushi and a variety of vegetarian sushi items at a sushi/ice cream island (not included in the 8 main stations I listed above). Veggie sushi was well done, but the rice was a little lacking. Additionally they have a hibachi grill. You pile up a plate with items and they cook them on the grill in front of you. Other than that I had my first hibachi fail where part of my order evidently wandered over to another order he was cooking, and mine got incorrectly - but it was pretty tasty. It was much spicier than I wanted (and I'm assuming the guy who ordered spicy got a much blander version) but man it was good. At one part my face must have been beet red, the waitress took my drink to refill and Kim Y asked me "who don't you stop eating til you get your water back" to which I replied "it will be hot whether I have water or not and it is tasty right now." This place additionally has the distinction of being the only place of this nature to have fairly decent pizza on the buffet. Now, it's not going to put anyone out of business, but this is not something you would be disgusted by eating. I have this thing when I go to a buffet where usually I feel I have failed with cost to amount-consumed ratio. I've been failing buffets for quite a while now, but this one I don't think I did. I actually had to go home and lay there in a coma for a bit. While no means a complete list, here are the things I saw there: 8 flavors of ice cream, 11 types of sushi. Meat carving station w several meats. Hibachi grill w ~10 veggie selections and a meat selection cart. Pizza (decent). Mac & Cheese (also good). Crawfish. chicken. dessert cart, banana pudding, jello salads, cake, a salad bar with multiple lettuce choices, spring rolls, egg rolls (ham I think), french bread, garlic bread or Texas toast, deviled eggs, fresh green beans, vegetable fried rice, veggie lo mein, soups, fresh cut cantaloupe (it was ok, very fresh but I think they got a meh one) a fruit cart, pudding, honestly I feel like that's maybe 1/10th of what they have. The weird thing is it's all pretty good.

  • Jay G.

I lived across from this place for 4 years, needless to say I've eaten here a lot. It can be really good somedays, and others is meh, or sucks, so it's really a roll of the dice each time. It's cheap, and the staff is always friendly.

Every year I head back to Tennessee for the holidays and try out whatever buffet places are available in the area (family loves buffets) and this is the most decent one we've been to. The restaurant is nice and large and the bathrooms are even clean which is a major plus for an asian restaurant! The variety of food they offer is much larger than other buffets Ive been to. The quality of food is not the best I've ever had but it's decent and for the price I can't complain. The service is excellent! The servers are constantly clearing tables so you're not surrounded by dirty plates. The sushi is not good but the grill where they make you fresh noodles is the best part! And they have legit Ice cream for dessert! If I'm in the area I would definitely be back. This place is huge and easy to spot from the road so defn do not pass it up!

Everybody in my group of friends gets excited when we decide to come here. Usually it's because we're all starving and here you can eat a staggering amount of food for not a lot of money...$10 for all you can eat? I'll take that, please and thanks! This place is huge, first of all. Bring your friends, your family, all your relatives. They'll fit. Then, the food selection is staggering. Sushi, chinese food, pizza, steak, potatoes, all manner of seafood, and a salad bar. Your options are endless. Everyone will find something they like. And once you finish your first plate, you can get up and start all over again! Yum! And don't forget to leave room for dessert! There are cookies, jello, pastries of all sorts, and ice cream! The service here is great, for what little you need. The waitresses are always very quick to refill your beverages or whisk away your empty plates.

Well, I've eaten at this place about four times. Each time the food has gotten worse. I went there today (because a family member wanted to try it) and I felt like I was salted to death by the food. In the words of a family member when we first ate there when it first opened, "Enjoy it while it last." In other words, these places don't improve they just go bad. I'm going to look on the bright side after today's meal, at least I won't develop goiter thanks to all the salt that I consumed. This is the last time I will eat at this place or recommend it to anyone.

  • Chris L.

You can definitely find something to eat here. The place was large with a lot of selection from sushi, to tables of buffet, to hibachi grill. The sushi was OK, some basic rolls, mostly crab. I primarily ate the shrimp and vegetables, which were both really good and not overloaded with sauces or seasonings. The food was very fresh with constant streams pouring from the kitchen. As buffet foods go, this was better than most. And for the price, was a very pleasing lunch after spending the morning at the zoo.

If you compare this Chinese buffet (with a dab of Mongolian BBQ and Japanese sushi) against Chinese buffets found on west coast (SF, LA) or east coast (NYC), this place deserves 2 out of 5 stars. But if you compare this Chinese buffet against the competition in Nashville, it easily deserves 4 out of 5 stars. Most of the sushi except one or two dishes were sub-par. However the sub-par items generally found throughout the entire buffet aren't bad by all means. Most of the items were in fact decent for Nashville standards. The best items in the entire restaurant are against the back wall where most of the grilled items are found, including the 'choose your own ingredients' Mongolian BBQ. However I suggest to everyone to stay away from their Teriyaki sauce (way, way too sweet). Stick to the soy sauce, it's much more tolerable (unless you like your Mongolian BBQ to be overly sweet). The shrimp and fish items do not taste old or stale, which is quite surprising for Chinese buffet standards. While it's certainly not the best seafood in town, I can easily say that the coconut shrimp was much better than most shrimp dishes offered at non-buffet Chinese restaurants in Nashville. I personally stuck to that and various chicken items and grilled BBQ pork near the Mongolian BBQ area. For those who don't like Asian buffet items, you'll always find the random pizza slices somewhere. I personally did not like the dessert options available, but I rarely go to Chinese buffets for the desserts. $8.99 per person without drinks, before tax and tip. There are plenty of families and kids running around, so be prepared for that. The place is pretty packed, but I did not have to wait longer than 5-10 minutes before being seated.

What happens at the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet, stays at the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet. At least that's what the crazy neon Vegas decor has told me. Despite, looking like this place has been plucked straight from The Strip, it's all around pretty good. The food is usually piping hot and the buffet has everything from frog legs and crawfish to sushi and hibachi. The sushi is usually pretty good too, if you catch it when it's fresh. As for desserts... I don't really know if we need to even cover this. Like most Japanese buffets, the dessert is exactly what we've all grown to love and/or accept. haha. Slightly sweet cakes, fortune cookies and jello. But hey... at least this place offers ice cream too! If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit.

  • Em S.

Quite impressed with the extra-wide selection and large seating area - this buffet could probably hold its own in large cities, so it is definitely great for Nashville. Now generally one does not go to an all-you-can-eat buffet for quality (especially if the price is $6.99/lunch, and that's before the coupon I used), but it's actually not bad. It's ten or twenty times larger than Golden Coast, and while there's not as much "traditional" or "dim sum" items as GC, let's face it, Golden Coast wasn't very golden in that respect either. If someone from Japan or China came to visit this buffet place, they probably would not recognize most of the items being served, but hey, Americanized Asian food can be tasty too. There is a " Mongolian" grill section with foods cooked-to-order, a sushi bar, an ice cream cooler, a fruit / desserts bar, and then about 8 islands of hot foods. From a vegetarian perspective, the options are more limited, but you can definitely make a very full meal with your basic Americanized "Asian buffet" spread. Here's what was available on a Saturday lunch for vegetarians: spring rolls (the thin skin was crispy, hot, and overall surprisingly decent), fried donuts (like a mini-funnel cake), mei fun, chow mein noodles, fried rice, vegetable delight (broccoli, waterchestnut, lettuce), string beans, spinach with cheese, sauteed potatoes, sweet corn, inari with seaweed, veggie sushi (not labeled, just have to choose carefully, but it's usually the one with lots left as the non-vegetarians have grabbed the fish ones), fried plantains (not very good), fried zucchini (disappointing), mac & cheese (actually not too bad), cheese pizza (I didn't even try...), onion rings (decent!), french fries, garlic bread, sesame balls (a "dim sum" item I suppose), assorted salads, cut fruits (watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, oranges), and tons of desserts (cookies, cakes, ice cream, etc). As you can see, nothing terribly exciting by itself, but the key here is the wide variety. Sadly, places like this are not helping the obesity epidemic with the amount of fried foods, but you can attempt to eat somewhat healthy by sticky with the salads, veggies, sushi, grill, and fruits. You can't compare this to an authentic Chinese restaurant, but if you find one in Nashville, let me know, I won't be holding my breath. Now, if you're on a diet, coming here is probably not the best idea, but if you don't mind a little grease for a once-every-few-weeks type waistline splurge, then this is probably the best $5.99 ($6.99 - $1/off coupon, but worth it even without a coupon) you can spend in Nashville.

We ate here this past weekend at the recommendation of a friend. The amount of food was impressive. Some of it was a little scary, like the whole Talipa including the head. But that didn't stop us from finding some good things to eat, even some sushi. Most impressive was the total. On a Saturday evening it was less than $25 for the two of us. Definitely worth giving it a try.

This is by far the best Chinese buffet we have ever experienced - and we have been to quite a few. Stopped here while traveling through Nashville. The decor was very nice, the selection incredible (including sushi), and the quality was top-notch. The dinner price ($10) was a very pleasant surprise to boot.

I am ranking Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet only a mere 3 stars currently based on their lack of sushi options, but I will preface that this place deserves a few more visits. (and it's a buffet I can't expect too much). I have come here for Dinner with the family and lunch on my own. My latest visit was a solo lunch close to 1pm. The restaurant was fairly busy with a mix of families and work-lunch goers like myself. I was seated right away and offered a drink. I proceeded to grab my first few items, starting with the sushi bar. I was disappointed to find a mix of mostly imitation crab style rolls, and a few with cheap veggies and cream cheese. I grabbed a few that looked okay and moved onto the hot bars. Being that I don't eat any meat other than fish, this was challenging. For those who enjoy meat dishes, there are plenty. A lot of tasty looking chicken dishes both traditional Chinese/ Japanese fare and American fried foods as well. You have your run of the mill cream cheese won ton which I enjoyed, and some different items like a meat carving station which I thought was a nice touch for such an inexpensive buffet. They offer as the name indicates a Hibachi style grill, the crowd was a bit much, so I didn't partake this time around. I opted for some veggie dishes, noodles and rice all were hot and had good flavor. Each of the hot bars appeared to be fresh and the items recently rotated, I noticed there was an attendant each time I went up tending to them and cleaning the counters. On my next round I checked the sushi bar again, still lacking, many empty spots so i skipped it and grabbed another small plate of a few choice items on the hot bar. Finally at my third attempt the Sushi Chef had placed a few rolls on the bar worth trying, salmon and tuna included. I enjoyed both. This buffet is ideal if you are looking for a busy place with quick turn over of foods, I don't see how anything could "sit" for very long here as the crowds keep it fresh. While the place is busy it's huge, reminds me of smaller casinos in Vegas a lot of funky decor but still appears clean. The servers aren't the best, but this is a buffet they take a while to get drink refills out, but mine on this particular visit was very pleasant. My ticket with a drink was $9.79! So with tip it was still under $15 for a great deal of food and finally some pretty good sushi. Definitely worth a shot if you work in the area or if you have a large family!

I sometimes go to this restaurant if I am very hungry, don't want to spend much money, and don't want to wait for a table. The restaurant is always clean and well-staffed. The service is always pretty good. The food is pretty good, not great, but good enough for a buffet. It certainly serves my needs well. I would certainly not take anyone there for a date some evening. It does not have the type of atmosphere for that. There are always a lot of families with small children there so this place is usually very busy.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
