Service is always friendly and upbeat, the owner is super nice and involved with the community. Overall a great place to stop by and get some work done or just meet with friends.

Flatrock is friendly, comfortable, and yummy. Their Cuban sandwich is simply delicious and the coffee does the trick. Perfect for working with their large tables and accessible outlets.

Decided to try out a new local coffee spot today. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Excellent coffee and even better service. Karen was so friendly and inviting! I definitely will be recommending to all my fellow coffee, tea and even beer drinkers :) great prices to boot!!

Beer is projected to be coming to this nice cafe in the near future. But for now I just enjoyed a very hot cup of fresh roasted coffee here before their official opening. After I let it cool down it was a smooth drink, without that charbucks bite. Inside it is mellow compared to the busy street outside. The pleasant seating is cafe style.

Went here while visiting a friend in Antioch. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean, comfy, and quiet. Great selection of coffees and teas! We had some bagels for breakfast and they were great! Great place to stop in during our stay.

Just ok. Open later than stated and service was slow. Limited food options in the morning and latte was nothing special (watery). Maybe a bad day?

We live in the crieve hall area and are always looking for a nearby coffee shop. This weekend we found this one and will definitely be frequenting it! It's cozy, quiet, great artwork and has live music! This is a hidden gem. I had a peach empanada that was delicious, as well as a specialty espresso with honey and almond milk that was amazing.

A diamond in the rough!!! Really cool coffee shop that appeals to everyone from the working professional and study groups to families and casual gatherings. Lots of space inside and really clean everywhere inside with a kids corner, TV, and even had a changing station in the bathroom (not even Starbucks has that!). I had an excellent Mocha and can't wait to return! Details on the Drip Coffee (especially for my coffee-snob lil bro! ): Flat Rock Coffee Tea & More is on Nolensville Rd next to Music City Pawn with 2 diff blends specific to them: - Flatrock and Roll is a tad bit darker. - Flatrock Buzz has more octane & caffeine. - Both are medium blends and they switch off which one they serve daily. - Beans are from Nashville Roast which are a blend, owners Karen and Steve selected personally. - 100% Arabica Coffee Beans - Ground in-store

A very nice neighborhood coffee shop. I came here for a few hours for a cup of joe and to do some work. It had a really homey feel to it. The barista was very nice and helpful. She made me feel really welcome. The internet clocked in at about 6 Mbps, adequate for an online meeting I needed to attend. Great spot, will definitely be back.

This could easily be my new fav coffee shop in town! Run by a wonderful, friendly couple, it's one of those local businesses you instantly want to support the minute you walk in. I had a good latte macchiato while my friend really enjoyed her hazelnut iced coffee. Probably more flavor options than many cafés. They also host social events like storytelling and soon-to-start monthly bluegrass jams.

Coffee, espresso, tea, and BEER. Not just any beer. It's from our friends over at Black Abbey Brewery just a couple miles away. This shop is spacious, with a variety of tables, chairs, and bench seating. As far as coffee goes they have two blends made for them by a roaster in town. A lighter roast, a medium roast, and a bean for espresso. I'm looking forward to them using different ways to brew the coffees and possibly experimenting with single origin beans. They serve sandwiches and they are solid. They serve vegan/gluten free desserts that will make you smack your momma. And I'm a meat eater so that that should say something. This place is not your typical hipster joint with reclaimed wood and vinyl records playing. It's a nice homey space with simple decor. My favorite thing about the place are the owners and their staff. Friendly as can be with the passion to learn more about coffee and willing to try new things. I think that the coffee will get better as time goes by, but this place is awesome and will continue to be awesome.

This place has one of the best lattes in Nashville. Friendly service, just very slow at times (that's the only reason I didn't give five stars). Tons of tables inside. I haven't had the food but the pastries they get are incredible. The lemon poppyseed muffin, I could eat every day.

I'm a student in professional school and I get flat rock coffee every day. I love to study there on the weekends. Plenty of room to spread out, great food, great coffee, great tea... It's just quiet and friendly. Perfect.

Five star service. Four star cappuccino. Three star scone and biscuit (and very affordable). Roomy and airy atmosphere (I was the only customer on a Wed morning). I'll go back.

Cool spot! Would have given it a five but the treats were limited. I really wanted a muffin but were completely out. Other than that, I had no problems. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was calm.

My coworkers and I buy coffee here everyday. We work a block away. It is always perfect, exactly what we ordered. Yesterday It was my turn to go get the coffee, so I rounded up orders and money. As I headed out I thought its only a block ill just walk and enjoy the fresh air. Well theres a pawnshop between us lol needless to say I got distracted. I had to look at everything and ended up buying an older macbook because they offered a 6 month protection plan lol and a tackle box. So it took a minute. By the time I made it to Flatrock the skies were black. Yikes. So I order the coffee. The young lady taking the orders was very patient and through. While I waited they had music playing. I thought to myself are the lyrics to this song are ? "soundcheck we are doing a sound check ". I was spaced out (not having any coffee yet ) I chuckled. Then look up and realize the amazing voice was coming from the other side of the coffeshop ! They were amazing, but I had to get back to work so I got our drinks and started to head out, and BAM its pouring rain. Without hesitation the owner insisted on driving me back to work !!! OMG what a lifesaver. I would have had to leave work. She saved the day with amazing coffee and a ride to work. They will be seeing alot of all of us. I definitely would recommend the shop. Im looking forward to trying some food and local beers on my day off. Six thumbs up.
