My wife and I decided to try Darfons because it was within walking distance to our hotel. We are so glad we did! We started with Grey Goose martinis, which were exquisite. My wife ordered the appetizer portion of shrimp & grits which was, in actuality, an entree size. She could not have eaten more nor enjoyed it more! I ordered the Pork Adobada entree, which was also served over grits and could not have been better. We had reservations and were seated in minutes. Our waiter, Greg F, was attentive and helpful! My wife was excited to learn that they had her favorite wine, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, and I had some very tasty Malbec from Argentina. In the end, we were pleased with the less than $100 price tag (including 20% tip) for a wonderful dining experience. We will return the next time we are in Nashville! Kim & Doug A., Colorado
I am a frequent traveler and was a little bummed that my only hotel options was the Hampton Suites near the airport. Not much around... Decided to take the half mile walk to this restaurant and my expectations were exceeded easily. Very good. I had the blackend tuna. Most excellent
This was some of the best food I have had in a while. They accommodated 15 of us. We loved the chocolate cobbler and the cheesecake is awesome. The servers were great. If I'm ever in Nashville again this will be one of my places to eat.

Have eaten here for years and the Wasabi Pea Crusted Salmon is the Best. And ask for David for great service.

I came here for lunch during a work day and had a great experience. The restaurant was packed but we got our food very quickly and the server was very knowledgable and on top of anything we needed. I had the grilled salmon with green beans and rice and it was very light but filling. If I could describe this place it has the cleanliness, efficiency and quick pace of a chain restaurant however the food and decor is exceptional quality, bravo!

Stopped here to eat based on reviews. Last night in town for business. Pretty busy on a Monday night. Took only 10 minute to be seated. Server was prompt. Started with potato soup. Pretty good. Loaded with all the toppings which I loved. Came for the chicken davinci. Was disappointed. It was ok but lacked flavor. Sauce was a bit watery. Found stray penne noodles throughout the dish. Ate less than half. Friend who lives close came by. She ordered the wings and loved them. Great sauce, a little kick to them. I'd go back but would get something else. They had a ragout special...should've tried that instead.

Yep this place was that good! I ordered the Chicken Divinci. It was a chicken breast stuffed with sun dries tomatoes, cheese & ham on a bed of angel hair pasta top with mushrooms and a cream sauce. It also came with garlic bread. Mmmmmm The service was great! This place was a bit intimate. I wouldn't take kids here but would reserve it for an adult night. Nevertheless; I did see a kid or two there. I would love to come back the next time I'm in Nashville. I also like the happy hour drink menu. It's wide variety. I had the Moscow mule thought it was good. Nice mix if flavors.

Chuck J.
The service was great. She was at our table every time we needed her. My wife's kobi burger was excellent. I had the salmon and it was good. Not the best I've ever had but better than most places in town. A little pricey, but good for a meal out. I would recommend going there.

This place was a very pleasant surprise in this area of town. I came on a Saturday around noon and they had a brunch. SUPER plus. The brunch and regular menu had great selections! I got the Egg Brianne from the brunch menu. DELICIOUS!! It was like an upscale Egg Benedict. Cute decor. Full bar and I heard they have a really good happy hour. Definitely will be visiting again!

Great find! Glad Yelp hasn't steered me wrong. Not a lot of choices by the airport and this is a gem! Start with the hummus platter--looks great, tastes amazing. Enjoyed the salmon wrap, Kobe burger, potato soup, Darfon salad, baby kale salad and tomato soup at our table. We all enjoyed our food. That tomato soup I had was just awesome! I'm getting it again!
(5)
Zeb M.
I've been here several times for lunch with my parents and every meal was good. However, if I were to pay for food at this price, I would probably go somewhere else. Their selection is limited and the food was nothing spectacular. Still, if you're just visiting and by the airport, I would certainly choose Darfons over other restaurants around the area.

Great food, great staff, and great place to watch the game!!

I am a meat lover, especially when it comes to Prime Rib. I wasn't expecting much since I wandered in the joint simply because it was walking distance from my hotel. What a surprise! I've been too very expensive restaurants and NEVER had a better tasting cut as I did at Darfon's. Bravo!!! I'd stay at this hotel again simply to return for another plate! Salad and broccoli was also great. And all under twenty! Wow!

Was going to bring our group here, but saw the "NO GUNS" sign... Sorry, won't be getting our business...

In Nashville on business for a couple of days and a coworker suggested this place. It is very tasty. There is a little bit of a wait for a table during rush hour but that is expected for a decent place. It was really close to my hotel and I could walk so I ate there two nights. The gnocchi Alfredo/pesto was delish and I'm not usually a fan of Alfredo sauce. I would definitely recommend for a good dinner! If I ever come back to Nashville. I will be dining here for sure.
(5)

Excellent service and the food too. I had the prime rib and it was excellent except for a tuff vein, the taters were excellent too. Wife had the chic davinci and she said it was good. Would try again and would come early. The place gets really busy. }

I visited Darfon's for the first time today. I had lunch, and it was great. I've heard good things in the past, but the experience exceeded expectations. I had the Salmon lunch special with pilaf and julienned zucchini. Try it. It was great! The owner, Sam, seems to be a genuinely nice guy. I'll be a future patron and supporter of this restaurant.
(5)
Kara R.
Decent place for Italian food, but nothing really special or worth the prices. Maybe a few items are stellar, but not sure it's worth the trips to find out what they are.

I take all of my clients that are located in the Hermitage/Donelson to Darfon's. You can make lunch reservations, they have wifi and the staff is professional. I have never waited for a long period of time for my food or drink. The staff is also respectful and only interrupt when necessary (to refill drinks and deliver/take away food.) The kale salad and salmon entree are amazing! Highly recommended to anyone and also to business professionals.

I organized a group of 26 people for a luncheon timed for 1:30 pm when the main crowd would be thinned down. We were able to order from the menu and tables arranged to our desire. The food was suburb and waiters were very efficient. I can not thank Donna and Leah enough along with those behind the scenes to make our luncheon great. This was our third visit and we will be back. Worst service and restaurant management I've encountered in quite awhile. The food was OK but when we complained about our horrible waitress, the manager defended her instead of accepting criticism. So now we know why the service was so bad because their managers know nothing about hospitality. Nashville has many fine, friendly restaurants that we enjoy often when we visit. This is not one of them.

If your staying near the airport this is the place to eat. This is my first time hear and after reading the reviews I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did! I arrived at 5:45 and the place was already crowded so I grab a table in the bar area (all tables in the bar area are up for grabs) they have happy hour M-F 3-6pm. Most drinks are $5 on there limited happy hour menu. I order a baby kale salad to start and the Mahi-mahi for my entree. Everything was VERY good. I will be coming back when I'm in town.

Jennifier R.
Went at the suggestion of a friend for a Valentine's dinner early with the spouse. Food was excellent Some of the Best!! We ordered the Ribeye and the Steak Oscar. The drink menu was really diversified as well as food choices. The calamari appetizer was amazing; as well as the Lemon Cake dessert!! We would definitely go back it is worth the ride to Nashville!!

Darfon's is a true neighborhood place to go, service is friendly, food is unpretentious while still maintaining quality ingredients, and the atmosphere is energetic and lively. Prices are competitive for a good quality meal in a relaxed pub environment.
(4)
Stephanie C.
There are a lot of items at Darfons that are certainly worth checking out. My favorites include the steak Oscar, the Kobe beef burger, and the salmon Asian wrap. The Key lime pie is pretty fantastic too. Plus they run a great happy hour with five dollar martinis. But watch out for Mondays because they are closed. I have attempted to go at least three times on Monday forgetting all about their schedule. Reservations are not required, but I am sure they accept them. Additionally, they have a separate room out back that is perfect for hosting employee dinners or large parties.
(4)
Jamie T.
I read the review and we gave it a try. Loved it! Very good soups, and the prime rib was excellent with delicious mashed Yukon Gold potatoes. We went to dinner late and everything was still so good. The menu has a variety of items on it. I would really recommend it.
(4)
Chris J.
One of the better restaurants in the "airport hotel" area north of Nashville international. Expect a little bit of a wait any time after 6pm, even in the middle of the week. Parking can also be tricky if it's crowded. Food is great and they rotate/create specials enough where there always seems to be something new to try. I love their meatloaf. Huge portion. Good wine selections too.

Suggested by the hotel bell desk, they were spot on! What a great place. The cod special was great, the bartenders know what they're doing and my server Meloney was excellent. Full marks!
(5)

We dined here twice while on a trip to Nashville. Both times our service was fast (Excellent waiter and waitress!), our food was delicious, and the restaurant was clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!
(5)
Drew A.
Came here for my first real meal after attending 'roo and boy, did this place hit. the. spot! Blackened prime rib sammie was dope! A bit fatty, but worth it for the flavor. The large circular bar was vacant when we arrived, so no wait (the place was PACKED), and it was the perfect spot to watch some World Cup action. The bartender was attentive and took our order right away. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for this first 'civilized' meal after eating mystery burritos and Cheese-its for 4 days. Close to the airport, so you can come here for a nice bite before you hop into your flying tube. Do it.

Quick review: best filet ever! A hotel employee told us to try Darfon's last time we were in Nashville. We weren't expecting much, but were blown away by the food! The filet oscar with mashed potatoes was the best I have ever had. It beat Morton's and Ruth Chris! Pros: good environment, amazing food Cons: absolutely none!

This was my first time at Darfons. I came with a group of 17. There was plenty of room for us and a great feel to it. We had two servers taking care of us and they took our drink orders right away. We started with Caesar salads which were awesome. They also had bread and olive oil with salt and some other herbs. For the entree, I had the pork loin over mashed potatoes with broccoli. I was a little nervous because it didn't look that great but it was outstanding! A couple people had the salmon and they really enjoyed it. A couple others had the steak it said it was very good. However, one asked for medium-rare/more on the rare side and it was more medium to medium well. The carrot cake was the best I've ever had, besides my mom's of course. :) a couple had the cheesecake and they said it was your basic cheesecake. One had the chocolate cobbler which was basically a brownie sundae. She said it was "warm and gooey and good." I highly recommend Darfons!! I would come back for sure.

3 of us had dinner here tonight. Jessica (I think that was her name) served us and did a great job. She checked on ingredients for one of the entrees and even brought a sample to test before we ordered. I had the Almond Crusted Trout and it was very good. The sauce is on the sweet side. The Shrimp and Grits appetizer is yummy and I highly recommend it. The grits are cheezy and a little crusty from the frying, but not oily. They have a decent wine and beer selection.
(5)
Sarah R.
Great service and the salmon is delish! I've been there a few times when I travel to Nashville and it's always a great and friendly meal!
(5)
Bill J.
The food here isn't bad, but nothing is worth giving four stars for. Appetizer tray - average presentation at best. Appetizers were okay, but just average. Nothing from dinner stands out at all. Just an overall average meal. The service was good and the staff was friendly. Don't think I'll go back with so many other options available.
(3)
Natalie D.
What a total surprise! The service was fantastic (Kevin) ... the shrimp and grits apetizer was tasty but the filet is handsdown the best entree! What a lovely diamond in the rough.
(4)
Bob B.
I couldn't believe it, after reading all these great reviews. I thought no way can this go wrong. The service was great, the place is clean, the prices a bit high for the quality of the food. I ordered the lamb chops. Medium rare, the chops were so cold and was so grizzly. Actuall whole plate was not hot at all. Very disappointed. I didn't complain because I was out on a date and her pasta dish was good but nowhere near great. She had some gnocchi cream sauce dish. I.e. Olive Garden.. I gave them a chance and won't be going back, just because there are better places to eat. Even on their best day I can't see the food being great.

Right by the airport, huge restaurant but gets really packed during lunch hours. A little expensive but the food and service is great. I had the chicken and sausage jumbalaya with a chicken salad and my Co worker had the prime rib sandwich with fries, no complaints!

AsianRunningDiva S.
Very conveniently located near the airport, and came here for lunch on Friday while we waited for friends to arrive on a later flight. It was busy! This must be a good place! We got the Jack Daniels Chicken sandwich and the prime rib sandwich. The JD chicken was tangy and sweet, a little messy because the bread soaked up the sauce and made it soggy! The Prime rib sandwich was very buttery (I think the bread had some butter on it too!), and made to order. Each sandwich came with a side: Green beans, spinach, fries. Very reasonable prices and was stuffed afterwards! Mints on the way out! :)

I've been to this place maybe three or four times, if I could I would give it a 3.5... It's a nice place just to hang out with some friends, the food is okay the ambiance is okay, its a decent place to hang out with friends and family.

Over priced for what it is. Average food. Great ratings on here because it's in the restaurant hole that is Donelson.

Tsz-Cheong C.
The food is always great here. I only wish it was a little brighter inside the restaurant, but after a few minutes your eyes will have dilated enough to see a bit more clearer, my photos came out darker than usual due to the dim lights. The staff here as usual is always friendly and attentive, without being too intrusive. Whenever I'm in town I make sure to make a stop here. My buddy had the Jack Daniels 12 ounce ribeye, it was tender and cooked to a perfect medium well. I ordered the chopped sirloin steak, it actually is a glorified hamburger nestled on a bed of string beans and Yukon mashed potatoes with pickled onions, it was really good. The cup of sausage jambalaya was also very tasty with a nice robust flavor. This place is always crowded. Come early on the weekdays, the place fills up fast. The weekends be prepared to wait.

I stopped here for dinner. I had the tomato bisque and the wasabi crusted salmon. The food was really good, and the service from the server was good as well. I give this place a four, because the hostess was not friendly and did not provide me a warm welcome. It was late so maybe she was tired.
(4)

Darfon's is my go to place in Nashville when I am meeting with a client. Yeah, it's busy and can be a bit loud but the food is outstanding and the staff all seem to know you are at Darfon's to do business...they do a great job.

My date and I arrived on a slow Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised with their brunch menu. The service is average at best, but the food is excellent. I plan to visit again within the near future.

Mmmmm such a great place! We are in town from Dallas and thought we would check it out. Service was a bit lacking but the food made up for it. Margaritas were strong and one was plenty. The tomato basil bisque was incredible. If we are ever back in Nashville we will be back.

Great food and atmosphere, as well as a great beer, wine and liquor selection. It is a staple for me whenever I vist Nashville on business. Highly Recommended!!!

Not at all impressed with Darfons. Food was pedestrian at best. Perhaps we just made poor menu choices, but I certainly cannot recommend the pasta entrees we tried (one with seafood and one with chicken). There was also something really weird going on with their tablecloths and napkins as they had an "old grease" smell almost as if they had been laundered sans detergent. Quite off-putting...

We had a friend from out of town staying at a hotel near the airport and did not want to have dinner with her at a "chain'place so asked for a recommendation from someone familiar with the Donelson area. Great suggestion,Willie! Although they could not find the reservation I made over the phone 3 hours earlier,we were seated pretty quickly in the back (quiet!) dining room. Service was great-efficient but not pushy. The food was great- 2 of us did a trout special that both were happy with.I did a stuffed chicken breast that was excellent. The Darfon salads were very good. Almost worth making a trip here from Franklin, but not quite. Would definitely come back if we are in that side of town. Reasonable prices-sorry we missed half priced martinis at happy hour, though!

Perfect spot for an on-the-road dinner. Our salads and entrees were great and the service excellent. We left refreshed. (Even got Manhattans with rye whiskey -- rare in the South!)

First time in TN. Came here before Country Music Marathon on recommendation of my local airport hotel. Great food but service is unbelievable. Sat at bar during very busy Friday night. Staff was all over it. Very impressive. Highly recommended.

Not any sort of place I will be running out to again. I don't think this place is bad per say but I don't think it really has anything that unique going for it that would make me worry about coming back. The service was ok. Again nothing that impressed me. The food was decent. I had their meatloaf and my wife had ordered a burger. Again it was decent but nothing particularly memorable. If you are already sitting in the parking lot you might as well go in but if not don't bother going out of your way.

Had the Chicken Chipotle Corn Chowder as a starter- very delicious, rich, spicy, full of flavor. I had the meatloaf for the main - also delicious. Great friendly and prompt service.

Amazing Service and Food! I definitely underestimated this place at first. But MY APOLOGISES it's very good. Brunch and Dinner menus give just enough choices.

The baby kale salad is sooooo good. It has a similar flavor to a caprese salad but with kale and walnuts added. Best salad I've had in a long time!
(5)
Guy Y.
Great food and great service. Their steaks are phenomenal. We had friends from out of town dine with us and they were highly impressed with the quality. The steaks would compare or beat offerings of the high $$$ steak houses in the Nashville area. Best filet mignon I have had in a while.
(5)
Lori M.
Very much worth the time to go! The food & drinks are so terrific. I gave only 4 stars because our waitress wasn't really up to my standards. She wasn't friendly or attentive. And the bartender was rude! Love the feel of the place though and I will return when I'm in Nashville again.
(4)

Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Best kobe burger on the planet! Excellent choices at the bar with great beers on tap. Lively environment good for happy hour.

Our hotel barkeep recommended this place to us since we were from out of town. I use Yelp to get us a reservation and glad I did since the wait was 45 minutes at 8 pm. Our waitress came to our table within 10 seconds of us being seated and the service was awesome our entire dinner. Food was top notch and a really good value. We had a bottle of wine again a good value. When I'm back in Nashville next month this place is definitely on the list.
(5)

The great thing about Darfon's is that the atmosphere screams upscale bar without the upscale prices. I went for lunch with some coworkers the other day. I decided to go with something light and ordered their Cobb salad. Man, I was not ready for how big this salad was. It was enough to feed 2 people.... 3 if they're tiny. It cost only $10.00 too! I also consider myself a connoisseur of balsamic vinaigrette and their honey balsamic dressing is probably the most delicious dressing I have ever had. Definitely worth a visit.

Three times i have had the pleasure of dinning at Darfons and i must say that it was a pleasure dinning there tonight. I took a group of customers to Darfons for dinner and the food was really great, but the service was "FANTASTIC", our sever never missed a beat, provided a level of service that made us feel like we were the only group in the place even though they were completly slammed with business. I highly recommend the cheese sticks, they are the best i have ever had.

Used to work fairly nearby and would take corporate visitors here whenever they came in to town and have also stopped by here with out-of-town guests as it is extremely convenient coming from airport and open later hours (last time I checked.) The black and blue (I think that's what it's called?) Salad and Cobb salads are awesome, the rubens are awesome, club sandwiches and burgers are awesome. They also make a delicious raspberry truffle martini for dessert, yum.
I ate at Darfons last night while in town for a meeting. The first thing I noticed was the limited selection of food vs. the drink menu; not a good sign. My waiter, Charles, recommended the meat loaf, which I ordered, along with a salad and the highly recommend jambalaya. The jambalaya tasted terrible, my salad never came, and the meatloaf was barely edible. Clearly this a place for drinks & appetizers, as evidenced by the crowd in the bar. I will not be back for food.

Out of towners here for client visits. Had a birthday to celebrate before the Grand Ole Opry. Made a 4:30 reservation. Server was fun & nice, apps were yummy. Dinners were all great! The reviews were mixed but we truly had a lovely time!

Good flavorful food for area. Lots of variety and able to accommodate larger groups. Be prepared to wait despite large seating area. Noisy! I had summer salad topped with grilled salmon which smelled a little fishy. Others at my table had pork loin with chimmichurri, chicken divan and shrimps and grits. Everyone else liked their dish. Service was awesome. I don't think our water or ice tea glasses were ever half way. I wouldn't go out of my way to try but if I was in airport area I would come in comparison to other options.

This place is an Epicure's Heaven! Fresh, inventive, seasonally-changing menu. Local beers on tap. Creative drinks that are delicious and not outrageously pricey. Sit at the bar and prepare to be spoiled! Kudos to Darfon's for managing to stay fresh and exciting after all these years!
(5)

The perfect place (locally owned) to grab a bite when traveling to and from Nashville. Great food (love the fresh salmon and salad options) great service and great atmosphere! Especially when entertaining clients for lunch and dinner.

Go Hungry / Leave Hungry - Very dated with un motivated wait staff. Menu is nothing special except for the fact that it was sticky from pervious misuse. After looking over the menu after it was exchanged we had drinks with an app ~ Almond Fried Brie do not oder this even if your interested as to what fried Brie may taste like. It is bad!
(1)
David L.
I would have to give them a strong four stars! The staff was attentive and the food was great. The price was a little high for lunch, but not unrealistic. The salads that were ate in my party were very good and size for a side salad was actually larger than expected. We all have other ideas on what to eat but we actually all settled on one of the Chef's specials. Pork loin, mash potatoes and squash. All was extremely flavorful and plenty to go around. More of a dinner portion I think. Overall, the service was great, atmosphere was what you would expect in restaurant, and I would have to go with the food was excellent. I do not eat deserts and was too full to eat one, but the list of items did seem worthwhile. Happy eating!!!

Great service and food, even when the are extremely busy! If you like your steaks rare, order "Pittsburgh" and you won't be disappointed!
(5)

I have been here three time. The service was great every time. I have had hamburgers, fish & a samoan wrap. The price range from $15 to $30 for dinner. It is a great place if you are on the road. Beats the hell out of the same old same old. I would definitely come back!
(4)
Jessica H.
The service was great. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. I expected my wasabi-pea encrusted salmon to have a bit more of a kick, but it was actually very mild and the wasabi flavor was overwhelmed by the sweetness of the coconut curry sauce (which was more coconut than curry, so I didn't get much spice there either). My partner got Mediterranean pasta with chicken and I liked that better. Side dishes were good. The dessert menu was enticing, but we were full by then. I'd definitely go there again.

Getting the Yelp Review of the Day, for my response about this restaurant, had me so excited I had to dine in it once again! Today I showed the manager on duty my yelp response when I arrived and got a $10 gift certificate. Woooooo Whooo! (No matter what restaurant each loves the publicity and will reward greatly!) :) I decided to try something different this time. Highly recommend the Salmon Oscar! It's not on the menu because I substituted the chicken or the steak oscar for salmon! Sometimes making up your own dish will fly and turn out pretty good. OMGoodness, add mash potatoes to it? Ummm ummmm good! The Salmon Oscar consist of salmon topped with REAL crab meat, asparagus, bearnaise sauce and rice pilaf or red skinned mashed potatoes. Again, this is not on the menu, so you'll have to ask for this specifically! As always, the customer service is great! The staff is attentive to their customers 100%. No complaints here! (Not sure why other Yelpers complain about the service here but you get what you give in return and that is my motto for everything in life.) Make sure you get a fuzzy navel martini to go along with it! Again, an amazing treat! Have some...........

You can tell this is a place that business travelers frequent. The service is fast (they turn those tables!) and the food is ok, but it was nothing special. It filled the need for food nearby my hotel on a rainy day when I didn't feel like venturing out, but after eating there I felt like I had wasted an opportunity to sample some of the truly great food that Nashville has to offer. There was nothing wrong with my food, but really it wasn't much different than going to an Outback or a Chili's.
(3)
Loren G.
I have to agree with Steve mcdaniel on this one. I really wanted it to be good but there really is something wrong with the cuts of meat. I do have to say that the service was prompt. As for the rest I think you could put a half a dozen chaIn signs out front and think you were at anyone of them

Once again I'm impressed with the quality of food and service in this area....Darfons is a great place for drinks and dinner. I ate in the bar area with a client and started with the Mediterranean platter which consisted of prosciutto, hummus, shrimp salad and mozzarella & tomato's... awesome and enough for two. then for dinner I had the swordfish with a mango/pineapple sauce that was great and my client had the prime rib that was flavorful and juicy and then of course some Johnny black to cap the evening. I was very impressed with the restaurants in Nashville. PS: ALL the waitress are very easy on the eyes....Southern Bells!

Locals place. Everyone seems to know everyone. They get swamped and stay swamped as people from other tables visit with other tables. Not a fast turnover especially in the bar. Good food. Not to die for but better than most.

This place was beyond a disappointment. My mother and I stopped here after checking into our hotel, which this place was recommended by the hotel. The best part of the meal was the cold beer and wine. we started off at the bar since there was a wait for dinner. Our buzzer went off so I paid the bar bill and my mother went to check in with the hostess since our table was ready. I come over and asked where they sat my mother, the hostess stairs blankly at me and then replies "oh I thought she was alone" um hello I said table for two and you wrote it down. So the hostess goes and hands me silver wear and a menu and I looked at her confused and she says "oh you want me to walk you to your table" um again hello isn't that your job? Anyways I then proceeded to walk myself to the table where they sat my mom, then sat there being ignored for awhile. The waitress was overwhelmed and rushed The food was almost cafeteria like. Editable but way over priced for what it was The people that work there should really think about getting a new career

Was in Nashville on a business trip and decided to eat here based on its proximity to our hotel. We waited for about ten minutes for a table as it was a busy Friday night and we could tell the place was popular. The waitress was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. I ordered the prime rib (end cut), and I swear that they brought me the biggest piece of meat that I have ever had in a restaurant, and it was delicious. My associate ordered a filet which was also very good. They entire experience was one that would draw me back the next time I'm in that area. Well done!

I took our staff to Darfons for dinner and meet about our Sickle Cell Walk that we were hosting the next morning. The hotel recommended it and the reviews from Yelp influenced me to try it out. I must admit the decor and atmosphere was beyond my expectations. We were truly impressed. Additionally, the service and food was really good. We had party of six and the waitress was able to meet our needs. I will eat here the next time I am in Nashville.

It's not perfect, but it definitely adds a little class to Donelson dining. The menu is a bit limited and overpriced, but there are a couple of dishes like the mushroom chicken that I would say exceeds the standard level. I would just agree with many other Yelpers that the workers seem overwhelmed when things get busy.

If I lived here I would definitely become a regular. Staff are cool people, bar keep makes a mean old fashioned, the black and blue was crispy spicy goodness

Darfon's is great. Nice feel, great food, moderate prices. Definitely try the Kobe burger, but also make sure to enjoy the rest of the menu -- including specials, which are invariably solid. Friendly, efficient service makes the experience all that much better (thanks, waitstaff!). My only complaint, such as it is, is that Darfon's is too popular. It is in the middle of "hotel row" near BNA (Nashville airport), and so those (like me) who travel to Nashville frequently on business, find themselves crowded out of the bar. Truthfully, I think Darfon's could open a carbon copy across the street and fill them both nearly every night. Yeah, it is that good.

I'm a fan. Their chicken tortilla soup was out of this world! I almost licked the bowl. I got the kobe beef burger which was also amazing. One thing to note, their food is FREAKING hot (temperature-wise). Not necessarily a complaint (except that I couldn't dig in as soon as I wanted to because it was volcanic) but just something to know. My only negative feedback would be that it is very loud...VERY loud. Part of it was the grown up using his outside voice inside but part of it was that it doesn't have enough walls to deflect the noise.

Found this restaurant on a walk from my hotel while on business in Nashville. Needed a quick place for lunch while on a break and could not have been more pleased. They served us quickly, prices were reasonable, food was great and staff was very friendly. Seeing as there is not alot of restaurant choices in this area will definitely be back.

My husband and I have eaten here twice now, once for lunch on a weekday, and once for dinner on Valentine's Day. Both times were during busy peak hours, but the service was attentive, friendly, and fast. Our food was pretty good, although my steak was underdone (rare instead of medium rare). No big deal, but next time I eat a steak here I will order it medium in the hopes that it will come out medium rare. ;) As far as drinks go, my husband's martini was perfect, but my mojito was a little on the weak side. I'm sure they would have fixed it for me if I had said something, but I drank it anyway. For some reason it's rare to get really good service during peak hours at restaurants any more, so for that reason alone I'm giving Darfons an extra star.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. My wife, a family friend, and me came here on a Saturday at around 6pm and there was a small crowd which was surprising because of all of the great ratings. After getting here I realized there was a checkin offer for free crab cakes or calimari, which were delicious. Using the checkin offer was a little nut roll because the waitress had never seen it before. After the talked to a manager about it they told me that they would accept it this time but next time I would have to print it out and bring it in. Getting a steak of some sorts is required if you go here. It doesn't matter if it is the porterhouse sandwich, the Cajun mixed grill, or the New York strip; they are all great and have been amazingly seasoned. No need for A1 on any of the steaks here.

Darfon's is a rare gem in a part of town known for...well...nothing at all really except The Hermitage. It's true that Donelson and Hermitage don't have a whole lot going on but if you do find yourself out here - this place is worth your time. This classy restaurant features a low-key atmosphere while maintaining the friendliness of a Southern restaurant. The food is good and they always stay busy even on weeknights. I've seen several businessmen actually drag clients out here from downtown just for the experience (its proximity to the airport probably plays a role). If you're a Nashvillian and find yourself looking for something upscale but are looking to avoid downtown - check out Darfon's.

It can be hard to find good restaurants on this side of Nashville. Darfons, though, is one of the best anywhere in Nashville. It has a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy or over the top. Great food and service. Try the pasta dishes or steak/chicken oscar. It's located close to the airport. Highly recommended!!!

Was there last night. Ate at bar and prime rib was tough, others confirmed same on their beef. Probably not really Black Angus beef, if so they need to change beef supplier.
Really, really good. I wasn't sure quite what to expect, because I had read some mixed reviews - but as I pulled into the parking lot, the place was full (and this was a rainy Monday night, mind you.) I am a celiac - so it's gluten free for me - and the waiter was totally accommodating, asking the chef about the scallops, and saying they could figure something out if the sauce had flour. It was safe - and delicious. I also had the tomato bisque - also gluten free, which kind of surprised me - and it was terrific too. If you're near the Nashville airport - and don't want Shoney's or fast food, this is a good choice.

I went here for lunch with work colleagues. They brought bred and an olive oil dip plate to the table with some herbs, but it was not very flavorful (especially compared to Carrabbas). I ordered a salad to start. The salad dressing had an aioli base, and I can't stand that mayonnaise taste, so I couldn't really eat it. (I've made fresh Cesar dressing before and even though there's a little egg, it never tasted that strong.) Also, there was too much Parmesan cheese. I think it would have been better fresh grated and to order when they deliver the salad. For the main course, I ordered a small fillet. It was cooked to order, and had a pretty good sauce, which I normally don't like (but tasted nice). Also, they did a great job cooking the asparagus. On the whole, it was just average.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of Kmart...not the ass end of nashville, but not the class end either, is a little one-of-a-kind place called Darfons. I have driven past it many times. Most days I head downtown to eat. today I was in a hurry, trying to get my boat running and did not want to leave the neighborhood. I walked in expecting it to look like ... something in between shoneys and applebees. A run-down little grill perhaps. But, wow! This place is really nice! A moment of panic... I just want saturday brunch, am I going to be able to afford this? Ends up they have a lot of options from affordable to a little bit pricey. I definitly need to go back to explore the more expensive end of the menu. However the "freshly made noodles" in the Fettucini Alfredo were perfectly cooked. the sauce was tasty (if a bit bland) and the chicken was moist. My girlfriend's blue cheese burger was well above average, though I am spoiled in that catagory so it probably won't make my top five in town. Sides were all good. The servers were friendly and seemed to be having fun. I felt comfortable there, despite having engine grease all over me and it being a pretty classy spot. I will definitly be back.

I've been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed, but also never really impressed. Considering Donelson and Hermitage are pretty much the capital of Nashville bland chain dining (I get to say this because the wife and I lived there for two years when we first moved to Nashville), it is nice to see a locally-owned place that seems to be doing well. I have a pal who lives out that way who swears by it, but considering the other 'fine dining' options are Applebee's and TGI O'Chiliflingertchockies, the bar is set fairly low. And since it is close to the airport, we always seem to take out visiting low-level executives here and this is why I have been a patron numerous times. A good place to get a steak or prime rib, and the pricing isn't too out of control. They try to have some creative options rather than the standard fare of a place like this, but I've found that they are never quite up to how they do their standard menu items. Their bar is competent, they do a good straight Martini, which surprisingly is a rarity. Because sometimes you just want to drink cold gin while looking at a bottle of vermouth. So yeah, decent place, probably the top of the chart for this part of town.

Darfons, you cheeky little devil you. Sitting right there along 'hotel row' all innocent and unassuming. Many restaurants near hotels tend to fall into a certain category; boringly common and vanilla as the business will be there regardless. Darfons was anything but. It was vibrant, lively and diners were having a wonderful time. Most people were laughing or smiling which adds to the charm. Happy eaters are a restaurant's best friend. As an outsider who doesn't know the area, I am glad I've eaten here a few times during my brief stays in the music city. I was pleasantly surprised by the beer menu. They had a few belgian options that I enjoyed and the wine list is rather large. The prime rib is delicious and the mashed potatoes were outstanding. Dipped into the au jus, I loved the beefy buttery combination that was happening in my mouth. I'm still thinking about those mashers. Maybe it's filled with travelers most nights instead of locals but I really like this place. It has personality that can be found on any weeknight and it stays reasonably filled through 9 PM. I'm a fan.

Went here for lunch recently with some friends, and had a horrible experience due to the obnoxiously rude waiter. I was hoping to put his actual name in this review but now I've gone and waited too long and forgotten it. For starters, he kept trying to upgrade all our orders. "You shouldn't order that, people really don't like it. You should order *this* instead" where "this" always cost about twice as much. He did this three different times, so it was obvious he wasn't being sincere and was just trying to inflate the check for a bigger tip. Then he was always slow and unavailable but the next biggest insult was when another friend arrived a little late after the rest of us had ordered. It took almost 15 minutes for him to get a menu since the waiter was completely ignoring our table. Then he received a menu and ordered a water. The waiter came back in a little bit and says "Are you going to order any food?" I mean, W.T.F! He asked for a menu and already ordered his drink, obviously he's going to order food! This guy was the rudest, laziest, scheming jack ass I've ever experienced in a restaurant, and I've experienced a lot of bad waiters in my time. If this is the best Darfons can do on waiters (even if he is the exception rather than the rule), I'm definitely not wasting my money there anymore. The food was decent though, but I would say it was about on par with O'Charley's or Chili's. But it is ~extremely~ expensive compared to those restaurants, and they do not apparently have a separate lunch menu (if those were their lunch prices, phew!).

A solid choice for food in the area considering the alternatives. I had the grilled prime rib sandwich for lunch last week. To my surprise, it came with a big slab of prime rib, not sliced thin like I expected! Kudos for that but a tip for the chef - trim the fat before you smother it in mushrooms and mozzarella. As a customer, it's kind of a pain to do it once it's on your plate. Other than that, the prime rib was juicy and tasty. But a little less stingy on the onion rings, please? The place is usually pretty busy at lunch but I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Service is fine, nothing special. It's pretty much the only place around to have a business lunch so I'll be back.

I have visited Darfon's twice, both on occasions when I was visiting Nashville, and not when I was presently living there. On both counts, I was shocked that a) the hotel recommended them and b) that I went back for seconds. Darfons gets a good rap, and I'm not sure where it comes from. The food is decent, but overpriced (and, I'll say this about chance few American restaurants, under-portioned). One visit was with some of my extended family, where the consensus was that we received slow service that did not check up on our table very often; our food did not arrive at the same time and our drinks were long empty before a waitress came by to refill them. My most recent visit found me as a solo diner on a Thursday night. My hotel recommended the walk to Darfons, so I took the bait (again). I was seated at a booth that obviously only had seating for one. So, I assumed this restaurant was accustomed to solo diners. Wrong. My waitress approached my table, and being a server myself, I went on auto-pilot and greeted her "Hi! My name is Rachel!". Kind of awkward, but shouldn't have thrown her off much. In reply she stared at me blankly, then gave me an impatient sigh and asked "What do you want to drink?" Ok, no specials, no greeting, no name of my server, fine, whatever, water and lemon it is. She lays a menu in front of me and bustles off to get the water. I choose a crab salad baguette deal, that was under a section that said all entrees come with choice of side, and the description of this dish also included a cup of bisque. I figured an open-faced sandwich, some veggies, and a cup of soup would hold me over, so this was my choice. The waitress returns, delivers my drink, and looks at me. I figure she wants me to order, so I do, and she gathers my menu without a word and walks off. At this point I unfold my napkin to find a fork with half a biscuit still stuck to the prongs and an unidentified post-washer goo all inside the linen. I set this aside, intending to ask for a fresh one. I have low standards for cleanliness, but as a waiter myself, I probably wouldn't have rolled this up and tossed it in the stack, no matter how mean my manager had been to me that day. I assume my order's placed and cooking, so at this point get up, grab my purse and jacket, and go to the bathroom to wash my hands before the meal. Upon my return my drink, silverware, napkins, all gone. My table had been bussed and reset in my solo-diner absence. Okay, understandable, probably was a bus-boy and not the server. I sit for another 5 to 7 minutes before my server returns to the table (without a replacement water or linens) and says "Oh I guess the bus boy thought you left. I wondered where you went." "Sorry, I went to wash my hands, could I get another silverware set and a water?" I was surprised I had to re-request my drink, when my server knew I had not completed my meal, and let me sit there for a while before tending to it. My meal arrived in good time, but sans the cup of soup; I asked my server if my soup was coming out soon and she said "No, you ordered vegetables instead." I said, "But I thought this meal was included with soup." She said "No, you substituted the vegetables instead of the soup. If you want soup I'll bring you soup." I figure I do want soup, even if she didn't bother to confirm with me that it was a substitution I was doing, when the wording in the menu was apparently confusing. She did bring me soup, but again, left it on the table without a word; no apology or clarification, and even an air of annoyance that I would be such a high-maintenance customer. Halfway through my crab salad I ran out of bread. I asked for another slice and had the same silent (but obedient?) treatment; I really felt like I was being a real pain the butt at this point. But again, I am myself a server, and I get these requests all the time, and I know they are not difficult to fulfill, especially whenever I look up at the drink station, I see my server standing idly by with no sense of urgency about her. Payment was equally awkward; not very quick, but not exceedingly slow. As a firm believer in tip-karma, I left 20% to the penny, but certainly did not feel that anything about Darfons warranted more than 15%. In sum: Do not recommend. Not one bit. Nashville has far too many superior eateries for the dollar and the service. A very lacking dining experience.

Staying in Nashville for business without access to your own kitchen means a lot of meals out. Fortunately for us, Darfons is a 2 minute drive from our hotel. After a week of sustaining ourselves on free hotel "snacks" and greasy "beige" food from fast food joints, we were quick to try Darfons after a recommendation by the hotel's front desk. They offer an extensive wine list but also offer BYOWine (with a corking fee). We had an appetizer sampler which was very tasty. Their mozzarella sticks are nice and crunchy! The rest of the menu is standard but offers enough variety that there is something for everyone. Follow the "do not judge a book by its cover" rule when pulling into the parking lot. The outside is unremarkable but the interior is tastefully decorated in warm colors, dark leather and modern lighting. We'll be returning in the future and recommend this to anyone staying in the nearby hotels.

Great food and the prices are even better! I eat here a lot when I'm traveling for work. Close to all the hotels and Nashville airport. Place is always packed, lots of travelers so I do suggest making a reservation before coming in to avoid the 45+ minute wait. Otherwise, you can't go wrong eating here!

Went here with a group of friends to test out the menu for a wedding reception in the near future. Location is not the best, looks like it used to be an old Applebees or something. Food is the best part of this place. The food is good while it is very American type fare, nothing super fancy about the place, which is mainly due to the location and the sign and such. Pricing is a little high but the food is pretty good. I recommend the blackened pork chops. Bomb diggity.

Staff was prompt and friendly. Food was amazing and very fast. The place was packed on a Thursday night for dinner, but my meal arrived within 10-15 minutes. Would recommend to anyone in the area. You could easily dress up for dinner here or show up in jeans and fit right in.

Another find during my visit to Nashville. My husband wanted something a little more fine dining than the Jack in the Box down the street so we stopped in. Got there a little before the dinner rush. The atmosphere was nice, seated quickly, our waitress was very attentive although one thing that annoys me is a waitress who only look and speak to the man at the table. When will they learn that it's me, the wife, who controls how much of a tip they receive? Anyhow, this would be my only complaint. The food was very good. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. The crab cakes were excellent, however, could use some more of the sauce on the plate. The salads are big enough to share. I ordered the steak oscar which was delicious. All of the portions were big, which I did not mind. I also liked the chilled bottles of water they left on the tables, the bread with flavored oil was nice too.

Our waitress was fab. FABULOUS. She made ever accommodation possible (I'm on Weight Watchers and my co-worker is on Atkins). The food was delish. We both had the specials-- grouper and pork loin. Great vegetable sides. And I was able to enjoy a few bites of the apple walnut crisp. Quite good (not my mom's, but good!) The prices were more than fair (I'm from DC so it was cheap for my pocketbook.) The atmosphere was contemporary. All sorts of people were there-- families, couples, individuals, old, young. I liked the full length mirror in the bathroom. :) If I lived here, I would go there again, most definitely. I'd give it five stars but it take A LOT for me to give a restaurant five stars.

I travel a lot so I stay over by the Nashville airport the night before I fly out a lot. Darfon's location on Donelson Pike is perfect for the business traveler looking to find some good food without trying to drive downtown. I got the crab cakes to start and I had pasta for dinner once and I've had steak another time, both were excellent. The full bar help to loosen you up after a long week and the nice wait staff seal the deal. If you are in the area, check this place out.

Darfons is a very decent place in an otherwise dreadful wasteland of dining experiences (Donelson). They have a nice bar with a great wine and beer selection, and the menu offers something for everyone. I had the French Quarter Pasta (penne w/ sausage and shrimp) and liked it a lot! The chocolate cake desert was incredible too! I've eaten there about five times, and I've never left disappointed. However, I've also never been blown away either. It's better than Chilis or O'Charleys, but it's nothing to travel for. If you are near the airport, then it's a solid place for the price.

Consistently very good, great daily specials. Nice bar, alfresco dining. Attentive servers and bar staff. Whether a cocktail, appetizer, full on meal, dessert, all we've ordered has been good. Convenient to BNA and down the road from the Music City Sheraton, Darfon's is always our "go to" and our visitors seem to like it, also. Great Yelp special deals!

The inside is just lovely and the service is excellent. I was a bit warmer inside than I would have liked, granted it was 107 degrees outside. I ordered the cheese plate as an entree and it was mostly good. The strawberries were perfect, the honey soaked walnuts were amazing and the dried figs were pretty good. The machego and gruyere were good but a quite similar. (I prefer a bit more diversity in a sampler plate.) The betterkase reminded me of Velveeta chucks marinated in oil. Not as bad as it sounds but far from impressive. The crackers were Nabisco. My partner ordered the hot wings and they were VERY good! Meaty, hot, crispy. We will likely go back, but I will not bee having the cheese plate. We were attached by a bird on the way in but I don't suppose that is the restaurants fault.

Two girlfriends and I met here for a dinner and drinks. The building is very pretty, the menu has wonderful sounding items on it, but that was all that impressed us. I had a $14 Kobe burger that was so chewy it was pretty much inedible. My friend had a chicken salad sandwich that she could only stomach a few bites of. Our other friend had salmon and she said it was good. My drinks were so weak I had to come home and make one to get a taste of the alcohol the purchased ones were missing. The waitress didn't even ask if there was a problem with two plates were taken away still full of food, I won't be back.

Good relaxed atmoshere, absolutely packed on a Wednesday night. The prime rib was excellent, and just the right size - no feeling stuffed afterwards. Also the house salad (and grape vinagrette dressing) were great as well. So yeah, not what i was expecting within walking distance of my airport hotel, but I'll take it.

I had a meeting with someone who flew in yesterday and was out today, so we decided to eat near the airport. After searching Yelp for reccomendations, I opted for Darfons. I have to say I was fairly impressed. The neighborhood it serves hardly seems high end, but they had a very nice menu of above average steak and seafood dishes. The seared tuna dinner I had was actually seared (not cooked and barely pink on the inside like so many restaurants). My meeting kept complimenting his steak, so I assume it was pretty good as well. Of course, for me, meeting is code for 'talking while drinking' and I was glad to see that Darfons has a very nicely stocked bar. As I have turned myself into a bourbon afficianado, I was glad to see they had a wide range of bourbons and not just the standard 3. Even better (pet peeve alert) was that when I asked my waiter to list their bourbons, he didnt include Jack Daniels among the offerings. The manager came over a few times to make certain that everything was going well, and when it was apparent that we were just camping out after dinner to talk, both she and our waiter made themselves scarce so we could talk, yet kept our water glasses full and made sure that we had a drink refill when wanted. Food is a solid B+ and service was A+. An oasis of quality near the airport.

Darfons surprised me because of its Donelson location. While there are some restaurants we frequent, there just aren't that many that either a) stand out or b) are not a chain. With their black napkins and nice looking staff, it looks pretty upscale. Don't be put off by this though, you can come in with your blue jeans on, it's all good here. I believe I ordered steak medallions, or something along these lines. While the meal's name escapes me, the fact that I love it hasn't left me. Were we on that side of town more often, we would probably be there a whole heck of a lot. They had a nice wine selection and treated everybody like they were you know, important or something. You've got to love that.

We (fiance, mom, dad, & I) ate here last night on Saturday 6/25. I've eaten here several times over the last few years and have enjoyed it each time. Service and food are always pretty good. On our visit last night I had the Wasabi Pea Crusted Salmon ($18), my fiance had the Black Agnus Roast Prime Rib ($20), mom had the Chicken Diane ($14), and dad had the Cajun Mixed Grille ($17). We all enjoyed our dishes. My salmon was excellent. My fiance's prime rib was tasty as well. Mom, my fiance, and I all had to take our dishes home since the portions were so generous. If you haven't been here before I would highly recommend it.

Yeah...I'm a fan. The last time we ate at Darfon's they had a to-die-for blackened-blue pasta alfredo on special. I've never heard of steak on pasta, but it was wicked. They also have two-for-one drinks on Saturday nights. Yay! Great burgers, also.
Excellent service from Carol. She was friendly and personable and knew just what to recommend. We had the Kobe beef burgers, steak salad and grilled trout sandwich. Everything was great. Found them while traveling thanks to yelp

We're lucky to live near Darfon's. It's such a great place to go for special occasions, or just because. They also have a great bar with a garage door that makes the perfect place to sit and enjoy friends and a cocktail. Our service is always exceptional, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend to Nashvillians who want to go somewhere different.

I must be missing something. Granted, I was here back in the fall and had a wonderful lunch and all were pleased in my group. I was alone this time and the place was packed but I needed dinner. Went to the bar and waited a good 5 minutes before I could get a beer - hey they were busy and pouring for the servers constantly. I got a beer and asked for a menu. Some time later the other bartender finally noticed me and got me another beer as well as take my order. The crab cake apps were all breading and I broke through both hoping to find a smattering of crustacean but to no avail. the caeser salad was so overdressed it was inedible. The Jack Daniels Rib Eye was such a bad cut of meat, I couln't spit all the gristle into my napkin without getting caught. Each plate was sent back less than half eaten but no question as to how the meal was? Sorry, but I just don't get it!

I live down the street from Darfons so yes, I am a regular. I eat there about once a week, mostly for lunch although I have had dinner there many times. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal there, and I'm originally from Boca Raton where high maintenance is a standard. First, I can recommend the following items: Jerk Spinach Salad, Ceasar salad with Chicken, the grilled salmon lunch entree, the scallops, and the prime rib. I can also recommend the Key Lime Pie. It can get noisy for lunch so maybe not the best place for a lunch meeting, although I've had plenty there with no real issues. Second, I don't like it when a server checks in constantly so I'm content if they check in with me once. I would rather have a server be available if I need him or her than constantly check in with me, thereby interrupting the flow of conversation. For the DOnelson area, its true that there are no real restaurants. Darfons stands out for me because: a) their price point is appropriate for value, b) close to home, c) service is what I like, and d) good food.

Very fresh salad. Good loaded baked potato. Perfectly cooked asparagus. Mediocre peppered steak was the let down. Dessert (butterscotch bread pudding) was so-so. My friend was happier with her prime rib (looked good to me) and key lime pie, so maybe there are better options than what I chose. Overall, not disappointing, but not particularly impressive either.

We decided to try Darfons after reading some reviews. It was only two blocks away (9 minute walk) so we decided to walk. Nice walk and we were able to drink a little more than if we had the car. Everything was great from my martini to our starters, salad and the most amazing red skinned mashed potatoes with my prime rib which was also very good. We will be going back before we leave. It was a very relaxing dinner.

Steak was good. Side veg of spinach was AWFUL. It was swimming in olive oil - olive oil and spinach (a high quality flavorful olive oil) don't mix. Also not enough garlic to cover up the olive oil taste. Service is slow.

This restaurant gets two stars for the Black Bean-Pepper Jack Cheese Dip and Smoky Sweet Pepper Wings. This place may just be good for starters because I was with a party of 3 and ALL of our steaks SUCKED!!! Two of ours were beyond bland and rare (definitely not the medium we ordered) and the other person's was overly salty. Talk about one extreme to the next. To top it off, the Almond Fried Brie I had for dessert was the most disgusting thing I ever tasted in my life OMG! This is NOT a dessert. I just realized it's on the starter menu also. That's where it belongs but it's still nasty as heck!!! Yuck! Our server highly recommended it and talked about how it was a promotional item that was only supposed to be on the menu for a week but sold out so much that week they kept it on the menu...REALLY? The server also got really offended when I told her I did not like it and wanted to send it back. I rarely EVER send anything back so that shows you how disgusting it was. I ordered another dessert but they didn't even bother to heat it up. The Chocolate Cobbler is described as a WARM brownie crust. Not an almost rock hard brownie crust. The ice cream wasn't even melting. SMH And do not get the truffle cake unless you just want to take 3-4 bites of a cake. This cake was so small I busted out laughing when it came to the table. The server stated it's so rich you'll only need 3-4 bites, there was nothing rich about this dessert. It's sample, bite sized. Perfect for a kid. This place was packed and had a line out the door so we assumed this was the spot and it was going to be really good. HA! Fooled us silly! We talked about how bad this restaurant was the entire week we were in Nashville. Will not be returning.

Probably one of the best dining experiences in Nashville. My coworkers and I went to this restaurant and had dinner and drinks. The wait for a table didn't take more than 15 minutes. The burgers, New York Strip steak and the BBQ baby-dack ribs were all very well received by my coworkers. I found the filet mignon to also be quite nice. The bar did a good job keeping up with out drink requests, had a good selection of both beers and cocktails, and the service was fairly fast. Recommended.

Stopped in to grab a quick lunch as I was heading to the airport. Didn't get anything fancy, just the black and bleu burger (may actually be called something else but you get my drift). The burger was cooked spot on - I ordered medium and it came out medium. It was well seasoned and had great flavor. The place seemed to be filled with a lot of people that appeared to be business colleagues on lunch. The decor was nice and the staff was pleasant and efficient. I had a very positive experience and look forward to trying the place for dinner to see what they really have to offer.

It is valentines day as I write this. I was working and frustrated at the traffic at Opry Mills. I stopped for gas at Elm Hill and decided to eat lunch and recharge my batteries. Open the yelp app. See nearby. In the ten years I have been in Nashville, I have never eaten here. Reviews were good, even from my actual legit friends :) I park right up front. The time is nearly 3 pm, so around 245. Not busy at all. Nothing going on. I walk in and see people waiting. But all the tables I look at everywhere are empty. I say "table for one", fully expecting to be seated immediately (like I do every time at every other restaurant I have been to since becoming single). The hostess said "Its gonna be a bit of a wait, unless you want to sit at the bar". She then walked off and seated someone else. - Leaving me hanging. I waited for her to come back. I said I would sit at the bar. She then just waved her hand at me and said I could sit at any table. Thing is - I get it. Its Valentines day. But its freaking 245 PM FFS! I found this pretty ridiculous. Unless they had a shit ton of 3 pm reservations, I was scratching my head wondering why there was a 30 minute wait. I sat myself down. Was acknowledged immediately by the very busy bartender, and asked for a water. I was so frustrated at my initial experience here that I opened up my MacBook and opened up Yelp and started reading the reviews for here. I also started typing this review. I ordered the Kobe burger and rice pilaf. Now that I have had time to cool off for a minute I am noticing the ambiance. Its really nice on the inside. I gathered the place to be like a Ocharley's clone for years. But now that I am inside it does have a great ambiance. Food verdict: The burger I doubt is real Kobe Beef. (its a stretch to make that claim anywhere) But I will say it was good tasting. The juice was enough to soak into the bottom bun. The bun was soft and also flavorful. The meal came with a ramekin of mayonnaise. Which is, odd. The rice was decent, if not bland. I had to salt it up. I meant to ask for hot sauce but he left before I could remember. When I dug down into the rice, I started biting into hard, uncooked pieces of rice that hurt my teeth. I had to stop eating it as it got worse. Overall, the burger was good, but the whole hostess attitude left a bad taste in my mouth from the start Two stars. First impressions are everything.

The Good: Great selection. Good service. Casual atmosphere, yet refined. The Bad: it was all good The rest: a cross between fine dinning and a family restaurant results in good food at a good price and s casual environment. Came in without reservations with a party of nine and were seated within 10'minutes. Restaurant was full and lively. Food was good.

I have not been to Darfon's since 1998 when I first came to Nashville only because I have been moving so much with my job. It has obviously changed a lot, but still has Seemed to be a successful locally owned business that I will continue to support. Good food and cool bar area.
Went there with some friends. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. I would definitely give it another shot though.

Recommended from a local colleague and lived up to the billing. Coming from fl I thought the prices were great. Had the pork, tasted great and was a large portion. Beer list and prices are pretty good as well.

Scoped out this place after staying at a local hotel. Loved every thing about it. Casual dining with an upscale feel. The price is right and the portions are plentiful. I had hopes for some dessert but the French Quarter Pasta filled me up. Kudos to the Darfons team.

Just had a delicious Cobb salad. Michael (yes, a woman, because dad named her) was my server in the bar area, was extremely good. I ordered it with no cheddar cheese and more blue with extra dressing and it was perfect. Greek dressing was great!! I would suggest going later, when the workers are more relaxed. I thought I was here before when's stayed in Nashville, and I was right. This time it was just as good, food wise, and friendly service. Just go and enjoy!!

We arrived mid-afternoon to attend a reunion nearby and made a last-minute change in our choice of restaurant because our first choice was too close to closing because we were delayed in traffic. We enjoyed the food and the staff was very nice as well. I like to usually eat something with a local flavor so I had the Jack Daniels sauced chicken sandwich that came with a side of onion rings and my wife ordered chicken DaVinci because she saw a lot of good reviews about it. We were not disappointed. The Jack Daniels chicken sandwich was delicious, the onion rings were done very nicely and my wife liked what she had. The only thing for my sandwich was that eating it was a messy experience. But I would order it again if we are in town. We finished by splitting a dish of coffee ice cream that was worth the stop all by itself. And neither of us left the place hungry. Nicely done.

My husband and I eat here weekly because the quality of food is superb! From their friendly and attentive servers, all the way up to their local owner, the experience and atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. I highly recommend the salmon and house salad. My husband LOVES their steaks. So fresh. Consistently delicious. Consistently great service!

I was told about this place by a friend. It is not fancy but a little dark but, the steak is great 14 oz New York strip you can only get rare or medium. The mashed potatoes are really good and creamy. The bread is good and it comes with a garlic melted butter . $ 28.00 bucks not bad at all.

A few other people have mentioned that this restaurant seems to cater to business travelers, and I found that to be absolutely true. Darfons is located near a string of hotels and is one of the few "non-chain" options which is why we chose it. Surprisingly, for a Monday night they were really busy - every table looked to be full, so you might want to make a reservation. Because it was a gorgeous night, we asked to sit on the patio and were told that it was closed for a private event. We were there close to 2 hours and it remained vacant the whole time. Hmm... Anyway - their menu is best described as "classics with a twist". I went with Pork Adobada which was pork loin served with chimichurri, cheesy grit cake and steamed veggies. Overall, I liked it - my pork was juicy and not tough, and the chimichurri was really flavorful. The person I was with went with the New Orleans pasta which he said was nicely spicy. Our service was not great - we had to pretty much beg for everything from drink refills to the check. It may be that they didn't expect to be full on a Monday? Not sure. Overall, Darfons is certainly a better choice than the chains in the area, and it is a good stop for business travelers or those staying in nearby hotels.

This is the 3rd time eating here. 3 times the service has been very poor. All 3 times I had the same server in the bar area. Food was good though it's a shame would have given 4 or 5 if service was much better.

Yeah...Yelp never steers me wrong but I was really surprised that I didn't like this place given the glowing reviews by so many of my real live friends (and fellow Yelp CMs). It just didn't do it for me though. My cousin and I were looking for a place to drink after spending way too much time with the family so I pulled up the handy dandy Yelp app and searched for lounges. Darfons popped up and was only 0.4 miles away from our current location - score! Well, I can't say much for the ambience...or clientele. The hostess and our waitress were nice enough but I don't know why "lounge" is even in the name. It is just a regular old restaurant on one side and a bar on the other. The lighting isn't dim and sports are playing over the bar area. The prices and selection weren't that great either. And if you're young, I don't think the crowd will be what you're looking for either. It was a fine place to catch up with my cousin...but yeah...nothing special.

This is a restaurant that has been around a while and has been updated. The atmosphere is nice. The service was great. We made a reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived. The Hors d'oeuvres were fantastic. We had mozzarella sticks and a hummus tray. They were both excellent. For dinner the guys ordered steak oscar. It was very tasty. The garlic potatoes and asparagus were very good as well. My wife had the salmon and loved it. The other lady in our party had Ribs and had nothing but compliments for them. Overall it was a delightful dinning experience and at a reasonable price. I am looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

Always very good Service and Delicious Food. Be sure to go after Noon when it slows down to enjoy the atmosphere.
I had the Filet and it was cooked perfectly. My dinner was excellent and service was friendly and helpful. I really could not believe the reasonable prices at this restaurant. If you were to pick it up and place it in Dallas my dish would have easily been $10 more. I am a fan and will eat there as a regular.

Food is great. However - found the staff to be curt, indifferent, and unwelcoming. That goes for the hostess as well as the waitress.
This place was suggested by a client as a great place to eat. Pretty much all the reviews are really good. I went here to eat with coworkers and we were very happy with the food that we got. Had salad and the DaVinci chicken it was really good had a lot of flavor my coworkers had some other choices which were very good also (the shrimp and scallops, and the Mediterranean pasta, but had a different name on the menu in the restaurant). Atmosphere was a little louder than expected. Ambience was darker with dim lighting, nice selection of drinks. Our waitress was efficient, but lacked being very friendly, seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder. Just lacking in customer service. Though I still give 4 stars because she could have just been having a bad day. Definitely would recommend giving this place a try. Also prices were pretty reasonable, and portions fairly large.

Stopped in for dinner last night, was told there would be about a 40 minute wait. Went to the bar and ordered drinks, about 15 minutes later our table was ready, still no drinks. We were not sure how this place was going to be. ONce we sat down, our waitress, Kimma did a great job, retrived our drinks and proceeded to provide us with exceptional service. She made sure our drinks were always full and provided us with updates on our food. Food and desserts were great! I would have to say, Kimma exceeded our expectations. If we go back, we will for sure ask for her. The bar service needs some help.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The service was great. Great prices and the food was outstanding. Only negative is that Nashville is obviously not used to Asian patrons. Jeeezzz.... it's 2015, get with it.

Have been here a few times while traveling for business. As far as restaurants near the airport, this is as good as it gets. Salads are decent, great garlic mashed potatoes, nothing low calorie. They have a large menu with most of the standard American style foods you would expect to see, and they are consistent.

How does this place have 4 stars? I don't typically consider myself a food snob, but I must be if everyone else thinks the food here is good. I never write bad reviews, but my husband and I went to this place for our 2nd wedding anniversary almost a year and a half ago and I still remember how awful I thought it was then. We ordered steaks and they were both covered in fat, my side item was cold. My husbands beer was warm and every table around us sat down later, but received their food before us. We eat our steak med rare so that's not what did it. I can't understand the fuss over this place. I wish we had went somewhere else and we won't be back. It was truly disappointing.

What a wonderful surprise!! Ate here many years ago and it was dark and just blah. Had heard it had changed...a LOT so when out-of-town friends wanted to meet, I suggested Darfon's. It was FABULOUS! We had a reservation and our table was ready. Our waitperson, Jill, was attentive but didn't hover. The food was OUTSTANDING! We had the homemade cheese sticks and the homemade hummus plate for appetizers. The cheese sticks were big and fried perfectly. Jill had recommended the hummus and she was RIGHT! The hummus was amazing and the plate included pita points, marinated red peppers, mini feta cheese balls, sliced cucumber, and olives. The men ordered Steak Oscar and it was cooked perfectly to each of their preferences. One ordered the Baby Back Ribs and loved them--a sweet but tangy sauce. I had the BBQ Salmon and it melted in my mouth! One thing I noticed was that the clientele was older...since I am too, it was really "comfortable." If there is one thing that was a turn-off for me, it was that it was loud...it was hard to carry on a conversation with our friends. But if you want great service and fantastic food, go there!

Went in for dinner after going to the gym. Joked with the girls at the front about being over dressed. They took it in stride and joked back which was a good ice breaker. The place was pretty busy as I've heard it always is, so that was a good sign. I sat at the bar which had a nice open feel and comfortable atmosphere. Plenty of TVs to keep you watching sports. Tried the local beer and wasn't disappointed. I asked the waitress for suggestions and had her just pick something from a list of three things. She selected the Chicken Davinci. Props to her for an awesome selection. I'm not entirely sure what was in it (that's what the menu description is for) but it was awesome! Chicken was cooked wonderfully, pasta was perfect, sauce was delicious. Overall it was a fantastic meal! I forgot to mention, I tried their beer cheese soup (think it was a special) and it was pretty epic. I would give this place 4.5 stars if possible and the only reason being that the waitress I had wasn't very friendly. She did her job well and helped me with my indecisiveness, but she seemed pretty disconnected. Other than that, I highly recommend finding Darfon's if you are on that side of town.

Who knew this many people in Nashville can enjoy a long, leisurely lunch in the middle of the day on a Monday? En route to the airport post-Bonnaroo, my group needed some lunch before being subjected to the pre-made sandwiches in the terminals. Being that we were in a hotel a stone's throw away, Darfons was an easy choice. Their menu is dotted with New American style fare and it's absolutely huge. Several different rooms, a spacious bar area, private areas - I'll bet they could jam 300 people in there easy. As for the food, they get the job done. I went easy with club sandwich and a Caesar salad and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Comfort food with their own unique touch that elevates it past your standard diner fare. Paired with a local Nashville beer (the name is escaping me) and it was a perfect send off before zooming out. And the price was right too - all that jazz for $20. I forgot what affordable food was like after years living in New York City...
Solid menu but sketchy neighborhood. Great food if you get in late and want something better than a chain restaurant for dinner. Not gonna be a "gotta go back there" experience, but if I were local I would have this place on my rotation. Kale Salad is great!

Got a steak sandwich and my husband got a burger. The food was okay/fine- nothing special. Overall, it just seemed over priced for what were getting. Ambiance is nice and the front of the restaurant has big glass windows that open up in nice weather. Probably won't go back for any food again- but maybe a good place for a beer after work.

It was the first place I went to on my vacation to Nashville on 08/01/15 and I was not impressed. I ordered the mozzarella sticks to start and they were overcooked and didn't appear to have much mozzarella cheese in them. They didn't have much flavor at all. I then got the tomato bisque which i must say was the best part of the entire meal. It was creamy and thick and it was one of the best tomato bisque's i have ever had. I then got a cheeseburger with mashed potatoes as my entree. The cheeseburger was nothing special, it didn't really stand out to me, it had no flavor or seasoning. The mashed potatoes where awful. They had the texture of pudding and tasted just plain bad. I was really not happy about how the mashed potatoes turned out. I then ordered the tiramisu and it tasted like it came out of a box. The prices were to high for such a mediocre meal and it was the most expensive meal i had on my entire week long vacation. the waitress didn't pay much attention to us and was very forgetful when we asked for something. I will not be returning to this restaurant if i ever return to Nashville.

I really liked this place. There's a great variety of food and lots of vegetarian options. The drinks are awesome. The venue is nice. We went during a very busy time in the evening and we still got great service and great food! I'm definitely a fan. If I were to return to Nashville I'd be back!

My wife and I really liked our meals here! I think if we had known how good the meatloaf was we would have chosen this place earlier in our stay. I would love to go back, but I am here a week only, and this is Nashville. Foodie paradise!!

Great meal!! Service was excellent. Wait was supposed to be 20min but it was about 5 min. We had crab cakes as app (delish) . I had Kobe burger and jimmy had steak oscar. Both were cooked exactly right. He could cut his steak with his fork. Ended with the best Tiramisu I've ever eaten. Overall great Meal. Spent more than I planned for a Wednesday but after a great meal and awesome service, I can't complain!

Okay really sums it up. Nice atmosphere, nice people too. That being said, my steak was juicy and the right temp, and to be frank, I was happy with it - but there was no "wow."
I've been here twice in 6 days and experienced worse on the second visit. Walked into the restaurant to be barely greeted and then sat down by the same rude hostess who doesn't say a word but tosses your menus on the table hm nice. Our waitresses both times sound like they hate their job unfortunately and did not explain anything to us or strike up any conversation. Hi and bye was the feel I got. It was my boyfriend's birthday, but I didn't even bother to mention that. I got the filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was supposed to be medium, but literally came out medium well, medium, and medium rare...O_o how? It was bland. Thank god they throw on some sauce and crab meat that gave some flavor, but the steak was so bland that I didn't even bother finishing it. My drink was strong which is always a plus in my eyes, but I had a lemon drop and my boyfriend had a dirty martini which he loves, and they both tasted terrible. I could at least salvage mine because I still believe it's a party foul to not finish your drink. My boyfriend didn't even send his drink back he just ordered a mojito and it was bad too, but at least he could drink it. My thing is the if your going to have terrible service, have good food so I have something to work with. I had neither...I tried to give this place another chance, but it will never get my money again and it truly says a lot about the manager.

I come to Darfons frequently after work for happy hour. Great $5 happy hour cocktails and beer. When I do come for lunch or dinner, the food has always been fantastic. The Tomato Parmesan Bisque is creamy and delicious. The Chicken Oscar is also a great meal. Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is "corporate casual" and the best restaurant in this area by far.

Seafood combo was delicious would have given it 5 stars of they went lighter on cooking time for yellow fin tuna and the crab cake was perfect. The calamari and buffalo wings were made to perfection...I like my wings more on the well done / crispy side.

I was in town for the Rock 'n' Roll half marathon and needed to fuel up for the run. Darfons was just down the street from my hotel so I thought I would check out the happy hour and enjoy some food. I sat at the bar and was quickly asked what I would like. I requested a happy hour menu, surprised it wasn't readily available. There were several drink options in the $5 range! I asked about the Black and Blue martini and found it odd when the bartender was discouraging since it wasn't premium gin. Well I ordered it anyway and thought it was tasty with bleu cheese stuffed Kalamata olives! For dinner, I ordered the Blackened Prime Rib Sandwich- medium rare, with asparagus as my side. The menu states it comes with a Dijon mango chutney which was placed under the cheese. I would call it a sauce, not a chutney but it was good. There was no other condiment on the sandwich. The prime rib was medium at best, definitely not medium rare, but still juicy. The sandwich was very delicious and flavorful, and despite having very little sauce was not dry at all. The asparagus was steamed perfectly but had no seasoning, not even a little lemon. Overall, I thought Darfons was adequate. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there but if I was in the area during happy hour, I might stop in again.

Went Wed. 2/24/15. My husbands chicken was dry and stale, crab mixture served on top was mushy. My dinner was less than okay. Last few visits , Darfons seems to be in decline. Still $$$ not worth $. I'm sad and disappointed.

If you're staying near the Nashville airport, go here. I had the strip steak medium rare and it was great. Service was good, atmosphere a little loud, but nice. Make a reservation...we went on a Tuesday and it was packed.

Decent sorta upscale place with a little bit of everything on the menu. I tried the gnocchi alfredo bacon appetizer which was good and then had the Kobe bacon cheeseburger which would have been just fine without the bacon. Service was excellent and they had a big fancy cocktail menu and what looked to be real decent beer and local brews on draft. I'd go here again if I had the chance.

Wow, a drink list that goes on & on. We had to try 4 different drinks between the hubby & me. They were all so good. Hard to choose a favorite. The Cherub's Cup was soooooo good without being to sweet. A nice cocktail. The food was amazing! We had the calamari to start. It was lightly fried without bring heavy. Husband got the Portabello Ravioli - very good. I had the Chicken Oscar - also very good. I wanted to try a dessert, but I was to full & opted for another cocktail. Oh, and we were told that the drinks on the list, a proceed went to charity. Don't know if that is all the time or just a special thing, but why not try one of their amazing drinks?! I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Everyone friendly & helpful.

We were in search of something, anything, that wasn't a chain restaurant that was near our hotel, & Yelp led us to Darfons. The service was great, very friendly & helpful. We got there during a half-price martini happy hour, so that in itself was a pleasant surprise. I had the Chicken Oscar, and it was OK... there wasn't a ton on the menu that caught my eye so I went with the chicken, which seemed frozen & a little reminiscent of Applebee's or a place like that. Definitely not a lot of options for vegetarians, and my friend ended up having to eat a hummus platter as her dinner. This is definitely a better option that Shoney's or any of the other more chain-like restaurants near by, but if I lived in Nashville I wouldn't go out of my way to come back often. A little pricier than I thought it should be, but at least we got ourselves a happy hour deal on the drinks!

Darfons is just about the only option for a good meal in the Donelson area. I thoroughly enjoy their salads and they make an excellent bloody mary that is on Happy Hour during Saturday brunch. p.s. Happy Hour all day on Saturdays! But closed Sundays.

Clean steak house atmosphere, extremely flavorful food, but our waitresses timing and demeanor were just ok, actually a smidgen awkward at times, like a 14yr old kid caught in a middle-aged woman's body. However, the medium rare Steak Oscar's filets are very tender and bursting with flavor (the best steak I've had this year), the lump crab is a perfect complement, it's the the real deal! The asparagus & potato sides are spot on, and I would order the Caesar salad again. My buddy said his black and blue burger with potato wedge fries were very good as well. I definitely recommend, especially if you want to avoid downtown. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality food, worth 4.5 stars.

Never had a bad meal here, Good steaks and on my last visit I had a burger and I have to say it was one of the better burgers I've had anywhere. If you like burgers then you should give them a try! Most people come here for their other meals and in the past I've had a great filet here as well as a very good prime rib.

Probably more a 3.5 star rating. Decent is the word that comes to mind. If it were in Nashville I doubt I would revisit this place considering the cities booming restaurant market right now, but for Donelson it's a pretty solid and reliable option. The clientele definitely reflects it's location. You can tell it's mostly people in town on business considering it's right by the airport.

While I don't venture to Darfon's frequently, I do enjoy it when I make this my destination of choice. Take this past Friday evening..... I was meeting a friend (who is also local to this zip code) for dinner and drinks before we went to go get our artistic groove on and paint. Things to note: they have a pretty decent happy hour that lasts until 6:00p. So I got two Moscow Mules for the price of one! The drink was good, not great, but hit the spot and accomplished the goal of "feeding my creativity". Dinner was the Mediterranean pasta - vermicelli with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, cashews and goat cheese. The portion was large, well-priced ($12 for the veggie version) and filling. My only complaint was that it could have used a bit more of a zing... Crushed red pepper would have fulfilled this for me. The bread that comes with the meal was a toasted slice of French. I didn't try that and instead stuck with the warm, soft baguette that was sliced and ready for dipping in olive oil that was flavored with roasted garlic. I had enough of that to ensure that I would not be having any issues with vampires for the evening. I didn't try dessert as I was saving room for a bit more adult beverages when I went to paint class. All in all, another solid experience. Service was good, my water glass stayed full, the ambiance allowed for my friend and me to converse and catch up without having to shout. Just like all my other visits there, it was good and I will return.

I had the New York strip and it was spot on. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was great. They have a wide variety of beers and wine. We did not have a wait time but if you plan on going with a big party be sure make reservations so you do not have to be waiting. As far as the location, I was disappointed but the neighborhood was not the best location. It is located next to a shopping plaza and at an intersection. The parking is also not that great and it is very limited. I would come back if I even come back to Nashville.

The gnocchi alfredo and pork dish were delicious. Draft beers were very limited but they seeemed to have a good bottled beer list. If you are near the airport and looking for a place to eat this is your best bet.

First time at this place recommended by the hotel. I had the baked Cod that was to die for. Seriously the chef used some sort of malt caper sauce that was amazing. Prices very reasonable and service was great. Will definitely return. Don't miss this one!!!

Enthusiastically recommended by the hotel staff, I had high hopes for this restaurant, but they didn't pan out. May very well have been what I ordered, which was strongly recommended by the waiter. It was a grilled pork shoulder special. Unfortunately, the cut had a lot of fat and gristle in it and was overcooked. The waiter was pushing it hard, so three of the four people in our party ordered it. Two of us had the same impression of the dish; only one cared for it. The fourth ordered the rib eye and enjoyed it. The calamari appetizer was pretty good, the wine list is not bad, and the ambiance is well done. But overall this was a disappointing experience for the money.

The cheese plate was good, but who can't slice cheese??? Our entrees were brought out disturbingly quickly (pre-cooked and microwaved???) and the steak had a "braised" texture to it (perfect medium rare, but absolutely no sear). It's fine for a quick lunch if you happen to be in the neighborhood, but it's not worth a trip.

Great food, I work down the road from the restaurant and often go to lunch here with vendors. I almost always get the salmon lunch special and it is always great. I've tried a few other things as well and they were just as good. I've never had a complaint for form anyone I've gone there with. I definitely recommend them. The service is good speed to during their busy lunch time.

There's too much good food in Nashville to waste your time here. The server didn't ask us how our meal was. My guess is its because she knows the food is bad.

Went for lunch. Overall, pretty happy with the meal. Maybe a little on the pricier side, but, good food. I'd be more likely to come here for lunch than dinner. Blackened Prime Rib Sandwich: 4 stars, good cut of meat. Just wasn't a huge fan of the blackened seasoning. Too much taco type flavor. Still, good sandwich. Caesar Salad- Excellent, dressing was very good. I asked for extra.

One of the few highlights of dinning near the airport area around Nashville. This area has always been a ghost town for good restaurants for some reason. Nice place with great service and the Jack Daniels chicken sandwich is always great!

This is one of my favorite places to eat when in Nashville. Not far from the airport, it is usually the first place I go for lunch. Also close to hotels it's a great place for happy hour with great atmosphere and drink specials. If it is warm, sit out on the veranda. You will receive speedy, attentive service from cheerful staff. The most recent meal enjoyed was Filet Oscar... perfection.

This is indeed the best filet I've ever had! Love having this place so close to my hotel when I come to Nashville. Truly a gem whose lack of pretension and incredible food make it the perfect place to get a meal on the road. Love this place. Love it!

I met friends here for dinner this past weekend on account of they live in Hermitage, where this restaurant is located. I'd never heard of it, and it was described to me as a "locally owned Friday's-type place"...apparently we have very different ideas about where to get good food on a Saturday night. And since they usually come to me downtown, I figure its only fair to head out their way once and a while. I swear until I checked out their webside that I thought this place had to be a chain. It has a chain feel, minus horrible supposed-to-be-kitschy decorations on the wall. It has a very lounge-like feel to it, which would be nice if it wasn't so loud and crowded. And it is VERY crowded on the weekends. My big complaint stems from the bar, and this may be an unfair complaint. While waiting on our table, we sat at the bar for drinks, and in the bar area was a Christmas party of about 35 people...there were only two bartenders...for the WHOLE BAR AND RESTAURANT...having been a bartender I felt for this guys, trying to attend to everyone in a timely manner, but it took me 20 minutes of sitting there to get a drink. Large parties typically have to call ahead at any establishment, so shouldn't they have staffed the bar better? That was irritating, and it continued to our table, where I never even saw the next drink I ordered. The food was decent. The burgers are their best option I think, as I got an almond-encrusted trout sandwich and it tested less nutty and more fried, and my friends blue cheese burger (tasted by the whole table, a testament to yumminess) was really fantastic. But again, a lot of what they offer seems very chain-restaurant to me (their desserts were pretty much Friday's desserts with different names). The best part was, being a larger party, we got to sit in a quieter back room reserved for big parties. Our server was really good as well. Overall I'm glad I went because I love my friends and I enjoy spending time with them, but I wouldn't make this trip for any other reason. It's a good place to go with friends but have a reservation and be prepared to wait for a table and drinks.

I had the black and blue burger, and it was one of the best burgers I have had to date. Server was attentive and the over all experience was very enjoyable. Great local beer selection on draft as well. Perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered from their special menu which turned out to be not that special. The spinach with my penne pasta was made with a bit too much garlic than I prefer. The meat sauce was good, but nothing ... umm ... special. This is a great place for social gatherings so probably wasn't really for an anti-social workaholic on travel alone and eating with her kindle books like yours truly.
Oasis in sea of horrible greasy chains in this area. Creative, fresh and yummy cocktails. Excellent service even during dinner / after work Rush. Better than vanilla food offerings very well-executed.

Back again last night. Still enjoy Darfons. As usual the place was packed. You need to make reservations in advance. One would think it would be 90% business travelers being so close to hotel landing and the airport, but it is actually a local hangout. Food is good and priced well. Three of us total with a bottle of Cab was only 120.00. You don't find that to often with good food. When I am in Nashville and do not feel like fighting the downtown rush or in a Blues Mood at BB's for that matter, my butt lands at Darfons.

Completely forgot to write a review of this place from months ago. We were taking our annual trip to Nashville visiting family and this place was just down the road from their house. Met up with an old friend from our region back home in Michigan for lunch. Atmosphere was nice, the food was great, and service was very good. I'll remember this restaurant next time we're in Nashville.

Traveling for work. This was close to the hotel in an area with little options. We made it out late on Monday night and the place was packed (still on a short wait). As we have budgets to adhere to we thought it best to order an app and a sandwich. The hummus platter served 4 for a light snack, drinks came fast and everyone's sandwiches were delicious! I had the prime rib sandwich. The meat was SO tender. Perfectly cooked. My friend had the black and blue truffle burger. Looked and smelled delicious. I'm not a big French fry gal, so asked for broccoli. Was really happy with the huge side portion and further impressed it seemed blanched and not soggy or covered in butter. Yes. That was a really long run on sentence about broccoli! :) Other folks around us were ordering generously sized steaks and the wine menu had a few really good options. All in all, not a bad little spot near the airport/hotels. Food is above average and there are options so you don't have to blow the bank. I say with a try!

Okay for the area it's located, but not so good for anyone who knows how to cook. The appetizer called "the pantry" was pretty, but lacking in both flavor and character, definitely not worth $16.00, especially when most of the ingredients can easily be found around town. The salmon I received was over-cooked and came on top of a plain baked potato that was simply cut in half and grilled...zero flavor at all! The asparagus was limp and blan at best, the side vegetable of pickled carrot was good minus the 3 large cloves of nearly completely raw garlic. On top of the barely there flavor of it all, it was nearly impossible to get any pepper from the pepper shaker without unscrewing the cap, and same for the salt. I would've thought that a place such as this would've at least offered freshly cracked black pepper to go with the ambiance and lack of flavor, but alas, yet another disappointment. The dessert of tiramisu was average, but had messy presentation, and did not make up for the lacking overall experience. My dining partner ordered a special of Beef Tip Marsala, which was less than mediocre. The (yet again) flavorless sauce that came with the pasta did not even stick, and became a liquid puddle at the bottom of the bowl. The beef tips themselves were minuscule and boring, and the accompanying garlic bread tasted artificial, as though it came a freezer. The service was fair, although drinks were forgotten. Overall, Darfon's is absolutely not worth the premium prices charged.

Man this place is a little gem next to the airport (which is not something I thought I'd say). The food here is rock solid (the service in the bar area not so much, which is perhaps the only thing preventing this place from rating 5 stars in truth). Came here with a co worker after a long day of training and this place was just what the doctor ordered. Got a huge slab of prime rib and mashed potatoes for just 22 bucks, while my buddy got the filet for the same price. That, and the wine list is decent, and the fried calimari appetizer delicious. Check this place out next time you're around, you won't regret it!

Tonight was our first time visiting Darfons Restaurant and Lounge, my husband is here on a business trip. After quickly skimming over reviews on Yelp we decided to give Darfons a try. I am SO glad we decided on this restaurant, it was more than we could have hoped for. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. We were actually surprised just how quickly we were seated in a booth. Our server (Greg) came over and greeted us and made us feel welcomed. He asked if we'd like to start off with a cocktail / and or an appetizer. We did. We chose the Mediterran Hummus Platter, it was, simply put - delicious. It was a huge platter enough for at least 4 people. The platter consisted of, mozzarella balls that had been marinated, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, sliced cucumbers and pita bread. I ordered a mixed drink with "tea" in the name, and for the life of me I can not remember the actual name of it. It was tasty and not weak or watered down. I had 3 of them. My husband ordered a Swedish beer and he liked it very much, (Greg) also brought him a chilled glass and my husband was very happy about that. We both ordered the Kale Salad and my husband said it was THE best salad he has ever had, I too concur. My husband even had a "Bob" moment - you know, the Billy Murray moment in the movie "What About Bob?" The scene where Bob ( Bill Murray) simply loses his mind over the food he's eating. That was my husband over the baby kale salad. The garlic-balsamic vinaigrette was mouthwatering. It had candied walnuts, fresh slices of mozzarella, red onion slices, and sliced tomatoes. Hubby had the Jerked Seared Mahi-Mahi that was served on a bed of pilaf, sauteed spinach with a white glaze. He said he has never had Mahi Mahi taste that good and he eats a LOT of seafood. I had the Shrimp and Scallops Beuree Rouge- sauteed with a penne pasta with mushrooms, asparagus, roasted red peppers and a butter sauce and parmesan. I was in awe of this dish, it was huge and delish. Neither of us could finish our meals, there was just so much for two people. So since we couldn't finish all of our food we did the logical thing, and ordered dessert. I had the Creme Brulee ( topped with burnt sugar and strawberries) (OMG, this was MY Bob moment) It was like having love on a plate. It was by far the very best dessert I have ever eaten in my 42 years on this planet. My husband had the Key Lime pie ( it was one of the specials of the day) It was thick and scrumptious. Every bite of food we had was better than the last, no kidding. It was by far the best food experience we have ever had. We liked it so much, we asked to speak with the manager. Her name is Donna and she was a welcoming and gracious lady. She asked what brought us to town and how we were liking Nashville. We shared small talk for about 5 minutes and, we told her just how happy we were with he service and the incredible food, and the exceptional care we were shown while we were there. We told her that we had discussed it, and we were coming back tomorrow night, she smiled warmly and told us she would make us a reservation and asked what time we wanted to come. We told her and she thanked us and shook both of our hands and told us she was so happy that we had a wonderful experience. Honestly, it was the best food, ever. If you are in Nashville and want some mouthwatering food and great service & atmosphere, you need to stop by Darfons, ask for Greg. You will not be disappointed. I hope this review helps. I'm so excited to be going back!! ( I'll be taking pictures tomorrow. I have no idea why I didn't do it tonight)

Little Black Dress Club ..
The Nashville Chapter of the Little Black Dress Club was happy to share their Second Annual Favorite Things Brunch with Darfons this year. This was the first time the club, as a group, had visited Darfons, and the experience was great. We had a large group of 21 ladies dressed up in their Little Black Dresses, and our server was not at all intimidated by all the ladies. He was on the task with taking drink orders as the ladies arrived, then food orders once everyone had arrived and was seated. I have to admit that I was worried about how long it would take to get the food with a group so large, but my fears were subsided before my tummy grumbled. Darfons offered a HUGE selection from their brunch menu, regular menu and cocktail menu. If anything, it was too much to choose from, but that meant that there was something to please all of the ladies there. When most restaurants wanted to charge the group a flat fee to dine in their establishment just for reservations, Darfons worked with the group to accomodate us well. Cheers to Darfons for making our brunch a success!

Darfons is one of the best restaurants in Nashville and it seems to be a pretty well-kept secret. I've been at least five times now and never had a meal I didn't love. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive and they also have a great bar and patio.

So, I wanted to find a place in the area to go for lunch, and I saw this and looked at the menu online and decided to give it a shot. Maybe it was a bad day, but I don't think I'll go back. We ordered the cheese sticks, which were amazing, but how can you mess up mozzarella cheese sticks? We also ordered the crab cakes, the shrimp and grits, and the kobe burger. The crab cakes were very fishy, and I'm saying this as someone from Louisiana who has had a lot of crab cakes. The sauce that they use for dipping was also very overpowering. The shrimp and grits were practically inedible. I ate the shrimp, but they were so overseasoned that it left my mouth on fire for a half hour after eating them. The grits were more like a cake, and they tasted burned or perhaps seasoned with some of the same seasoning from the shrimp. Either way, it was very disappointing. The burger and fries were great, so I snacked on those instead. The menu looked like it had a lot of other things I may go back and try out, but I can tell you I will not order the shrimp or the crab cakes again. I will say that our waiter was very prompt and attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant is super nice, just was not satisfied with the food.

The food here is on point. I had the filet and my husband had lamb. The wine list was full of great options. My only complaint would be that the bartenders are only interested in picking up young single chicks. We middle-aged folks who actually have money are treated like second class citizens. Our table service, however, was excellent

Hey, how exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does the sun set? How does Darfons make every meal so enjoyable? How exactly does the posi-trac rear end on a Plymouth work!? It just does! Stopped in for dinner after making a reservation using the OpenTable app. Not sure that it was needed though as there seemed to be plenty of seating when I got there... I started with a blood orange Margarita, pretty good libation!!! I used it to wash/choke down the shrimp and grits appetizer. Man.. Those shrimp were WAY overcooked. I've had tougher shrimp, but they were actually pieces of gravel. Salad was a nice surprise. I enjoyed it!! I had their homemade Greek dressing. The bits and pieces on the salad were nice and made a nice recovery after the shrimp. Entree time!!!!!! I got the Darfons burger, my lady friend got the prime rib (should have gone dutch!) Burger was cooked perfectly!! patty and toppings were all good. Tomato seemed like an afterthought. Only gripe on the burg was the bun. Very boring... needed to be buttered and grilled at a minimum. I tried the prime rib and BANG POW POP!!!!! That sucker was off the chain!!! Nicely done, Darfons!!! I ordered an "Airmail" drink along the way and it was delicious as well. I noticed that the bar drinks were top notch, all of them.

Let me say that I went in expecting to eat healthy so I ordered the seared tuna. Only to see it served on a bed of gnocchi ? But.... Clearly I don't mind because it really rocked. Seared tuna on a bed of gnocchi with cream sauce with asparagus and pesto..... Wow. I will get this again no doubt.

Excellent food and drinks! Me and my hotty-body-with-a-naughty-potty decided to stop in Nashville for the night, and found this place (on yelp) for dinner. The drinks are great (order anything with Jack since the distillery is not far away) and they pour good. The bartender was the shiz-nit! Great chicken sandwich and if you order a Stella they will give you a "bulbous" challis to drink from (if u ask). The cheesecake is crazy good too!!

We were in Nashville with our daughter who had to catch an early flight the next day and the hotel staff recommended this restaurant. It was a pretty nice experience. We got there around 7:00 pm on a Friday night and didn't have to wait at all for a table. The service was very good, though our food seemed to take a little while to get to us. But the food was excellent. We started with the fried calamari, which was very good and the portion was quite generous. My husband ordered the Angus ribeye steak, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our daughter ordered the seared ahi tuna and asked for it to be extra rare and they cooked it exactly to her liking. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came quite a bit more on the rare side but I still enjoyed it. While my husband and daughter each had asparagus accompanying their meals, my prime rib only came with mashed potatoes. I couldn't remember if the menu said it would come with veggies or not so I just let it go. They had Octoberfest beer on draft which was awesome. We debated over what to share for desert, my husband being a chocoholic and my daughter and I preferring something not quite so rich. So the waiter suggested the chocolate brownie sundae, which came with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and he brought it out with one scoop of the ice cream on the brownie and the other in a separate dish for my daughter and I to share. I was very impressed by this until I saw the bill and that we were charged for the brownie sundae in addition to being charged for a dish of ice cream, when he clearly led us to believe we would be sharing just one desert that he would divide up for us. But overall a good experience and we would definitely go again.

I don't want to say anything bad so I will just say the best in the immediate area. I just feel more sorry for people who don't know what good food really tastes like. Great service.

Ate there the other night. It was packed on a Monday. always a good sign. My server Carol said that most of the hotels in the area recommend the restaurant. It was solid American fare. The room was stylish, the bathrooms clean and the menu modern. Standards all good, Ribs, mashed red potatoes, Cesar etc. The thing that drove me nuts all night was the server with too many bracelets scooping ice all night long with the glass even though there was a scoop. horrible bad habit. dangerous to boot.

Had supper there last night. Last minute choice because the NRA had all the downtown restaurants tied up. It was close to our hotel. We arrived about 4:30. It doesn't look like much from outside. Very few diners. Interesting decor fairly fresh. Seated promptly. Our server was proficient but not friendly AT ALL. The Brie appetizer was disappointing, crust was too heavy. Presentation was attractive. My steak Oscar was delicious and prepared perfectly with excellent fresh asparagus and acceptable Yukon gold mashed potatoes. My companions ribeye was reportedly very good and the grilled shrimp was a hit. Server seemed disinterested throughout. She was not rude and I don't expect or want gushiness but she was not the least bit welcoming. I expected friendlier service in Nashville. Will recommend the place to friends because the food was very good overall but if I get back there on a future trip to music city I will hope for a different server.

I always love this place. It's my "go-to" restaurant. The ambiance is perfect for a business lunch or just a casual happy hour. They have the BEST brunch on Saturdays! $3.00 mimosas. Steak and eggs, with potatoes and an English muffin. Sometimes we just go for dessert. The Chocolate Cobbler is to die for!!

My husband and I had to stop and stay in Nashville for the night to catch an early flight the next morning. We debated going into "downtown" Nashville but really wanted to stay close by and have a little wait. We decided to try this place although I was turned off by "lounge". I was picturing a smoky pub type restaurant. Oh man I was fooled! This was one of the best meals the two of us have ever eaten!! We were blown away at the food and prices. We said we would pay triple for that meal. I had the special of the night -- butternut squash ravioli with grilled salmon and shrimp with a special creamy sauce and my husband had the filet with amazing mash potatoes. We also shared the flour less chocolate truffle cake for dessert. So yummy!! All of it. I wanted to thank the chef. Definitely recommend this place!

My business partner and I tried Darfons based on the suggestion of the front desk at the nearby TownePlace Suites hotel, and we were quite pleased with the dinner. We were seated promptly, the server was efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was casual (though the lighting was rather dim), and the food was good. I had a perfectly cooked, medium rare prime rib with a side of sauteed spinach, and my partner was very happy with her soup and salad. The salad was larger than she expected, and was a meal in its own right. If you are staying at one of the airport hotels, Darfons is a fine choice for dinner.

We were looking for a new restaurant to try for dinner - one of those nights. We came across Darfon's and I quickly read Yelp reviews to see it had a pretty good rating. The decor was nice, surprising for the area where there's a neighboring Shoney's and Waffle House. Our server, as nice as she was, seemed out of it. I guess that's the appropriate way to say that. My boyfriend felt uncomfortable with the layout of the seating. It seems everyone was on display for everyone and you had no privacy. No intimate dining here. I ordered a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup to go along with our crabcake appetizer. Eh. The soup was watery but flavorful. The crabcakes were fresh but greasy and a bit plain. For our entrees, I had the Wasabi Pea Crusted Salmon over a bed of greens and rice pilaf, and my boyfriend had Shrimp & Scallop pasta. My salmon was cooked well, and the layer of wasabi peas gave it a crunch and interesting flavor. The accompanying rice didn't seem to complement the fish. The server let me order the lunch portion which was $14 versus dinner's portion for $18, but the serving was quite generous. His pasta was just okay. The shrimp was large, but there were two. The sauce was watery. For $19 you would think they could throw in a little more sass and maybe another shrimp or two. We skipped dessert although I did want to try the crème brulee just because it's one of my fav desserts. Overall Darfon's is just okay, like the crabcakes, like the soup, like the pasta. I do have to agree with others that the proportions are nice. Even so, we probably wouldn't choose to come back. With its overpriced food and location, the restaurant seems to have some sort of identity crisis - it wants to be something it's not. Maybe if the restaurant was downtown or something it would make more sense.
I enjoyed the evening so very much! I traveled into Nashville, it was past 8:30pm Shared chicken Oscar with crab (yummy!) with darfor's salad with ginger sesame dressing, baby back ribs, and seafood Alfredo pasta. The bread was soft and delicious and they added Parmesan to the olive oil. Delicious! Lovely meal, would highly recommend.

Recommended by hotel staff. Glad I took their advice as I would have driven right on by as fas as street appeal goes. Don't judge a book by its cover. My server was very attentive and gave appropriate recommendations. When I ordered medium "push" they got it right! Highly recommend the sautéed spinach...just the right amount of garlic. I could cut my filet with my fork. Nice wine selection and just the right amount of "checking in" by my waitress. I will be back next time business brings me this way. Merry Christmas and happy new year.

I am a frequent traveler and was a little bummed that my only hotel options was the Hampton Suites near the airport. Not much around... Decided to take the half mile walk to this restaurant and my expectations were exceeded easily. Very good. I had the blackend tuna. Most excellent

This is my favorite restaurant in Nashville! The menu is great and the drinks are amazing. The staff is always nice and accommodating. My favorite is the blue cheese truffle burger. Save room for the crème brûlée!
(5)Stephon V.

(3)Eileen A.
(5)Chuck J.

(4)Tracy T.
(5)Zeb M.
(3)Amanda K.
Great food, great staff, and great place to watch the game!!
(5)Chad R.
Wow!
(5)Dan M.
Was going to bring our group here, but saw the "NO GUNS" sign... Sorry, won't be getting our business...
(1)Cc M.
(5)Tom O.
Excellent service and the food too. I had the prime rib and it was excellent except for a tuff vein, the taters were excellent too. Wife had the chic davinci and she said it was good. Would try again and would come early. The place gets really busy. }
(4)Spencer S.
(5)Kara R.
Decent place for Italian food, but nothing really special or worth the prices. Maybe a few items are stellar, but not sure it's worth the trips to find out what they are.
(3)Annie L.
(5)Robert S.
Bob S
(5)Mike S.
(1)Chris M.
(5)Jennifier R.
(5)Rhonda O.
Darfon's is a true neighborhood place to go, service is friendly, food is unpretentious while still maintaining quality ingredients, and the atmosphere is energetic and lively. Prices are competitive for a good quality meal in a relaxed pub environment.
(4)Stephanie C.
(4)Jamie T.
I read the review and we gave it a try. Loved it! Very good soups, and the prime rib was excellent with delicious mashed Yukon Gold potatoes. We went to dinner late and everything was still so good. The menu has a variety of items on it. I would really recommend it.
(4)Chris J.
(4)Todd C.
Suggested by the hotel bell desk, they were spot on! What a great place. The cod special was great, the bartenders know what they're doing and my server Meloney was excellent. Full marks!
(5)Lauren G.
We dined here twice while on a trip to Nashville. Both times our service was fast (Excellent waiter and waitress!), our food was delicious, and the restaurant was clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!
(5)Drew A.
Do it.
(4)Sarah F.
(5)Taryn N.
(4)Ryan R.
(5)Sarah R.
Great service and the salmon is delish! I've been there a few times when I travel to Nashville and it's always a great and friendly meal!
(5)Bill J.
(3)Natalie D.
What a total surprise! The service was fantastic (Kevin) ... the shrimp and grits apetizer was tasty but the filet is handsdown the best entree! What a lovely diamond in the rough.
(4)Bob B.
(1)Kristine N.
Right by the airport, huge restaurant but gets really packed during lunch hours. A little expensive but the food and service is great. I had the chicken and sausage jumbalaya with a chicken salad and my Co worker had the prime rib sandwich with fries, no complaints!
(4)AsianRunningDiva S.
(4)Danny B.
I've been to this place maybe three or four times, if I could I would give it a 3.5... It's a nice place just to hang out with some friends, the food is okay the ambiance is okay, its a decent place to hang out with friends and family.
(3)Brant I.
Over priced for what it is. Average food. Great ratings on here because it's in the restaurant hole that is Donelson.
(3)Tsz-Cheong C.
(4)Kathy D.
I stopped here for dinner. I had the tomato bisque and the wasabi crusted salmon. The food was really good, and the service from the server was good as well. I give this place a four, because the hostess was not friendly and did not provide me a warm welcome. It was late so maybe she was tired.
(4)Marty D.
Darfon's is my go to place in Nashville when I am meeting with a client. Yeah, it's busy and can be a bit loud but the food is outstanding and the staff all seem to know you are at Darfon's to do business...they do a great job.
(3)Kenneth C.
My date and I arrived on a slow Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised with their brunch menu. The service is average at best, but the food is excellent. I plan to visit again within the near future.
(4)Crystal H.
Mmmmm such a great place! We are in town from Dallas and thought we would check it out. Service was a bit lacking but the food made up for it. Margaritas were strong and one was plenty. The tomato basil bisque was incredible. If we are ever back in Nashville we will be back.
(5)Joe M.
Great food and atmosphere, as well as a great beer, wine and liquor selection. It is a staple for me whenever I vist Nashville on business. Highly Recommended!!!
(4)P. T. B.
(2)Michael M.
(4)Edward R.
Perfect spot for an on-the-road dinner. Our salads and entrees were great and the service excellent. We left refreshed. (Even got Manhattans with rye whiskey -- rare in the South!)
(5)Larry S.
First time in TN. Came here before Country Music Marathon on recommendation of my local airport hotel. Great food but service is unbelievable. Sat at bar during very busy Friday night. Staff was all over it. Very impressive. Highly recommended.
(5)Corey W.
(2)Lars D.
Had the Chicken Chipotle Corn Chowder as a starter- very delicious, rich, spicy, full of flavor. I had the meatloaf for the main - also delicious. Great friendly and prompt service.
(4)Terranise C.
Amazing Service and Food! I definitely underestimated this place at first. But MY APOLOGISES it's very good. Brunch and Dinner menus give just enough choices.
(5)Abby P.
The baby kale salad is sooooo good. It has a similar flavor to a caprese salad but with kale and walnuts added. Best salad I've had in a long time!
(5)Guy Y.
Great food and great service. Their steaks are phenomenal. We had friends from out of town dine with us and they were highly impressed with the quality. The steaks would compare or beat offerings of the high $$$ steak houses in the Nashville area. Best filet mignon I have had in a while.
(5)Lori M.
Very much worth the time to go! The food & drinks are so terrific. I gave only 4 stars because our waitress wasn't really up to my standards. She wasn't friendly or attentive. And the bartender was rude! Love the feel of the place though and I will return when I'm in Nashville again.
(4)AC R.
Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Best kobe burger on the planet! Excellent choices at the bar with great beers on tap. Lively environment good for happy hour.
(4)Greg S.
(5)Jennifer P.
(4)Mike G.
(4)Viva S.
(4)Rhonda S.
I've actually never written a review. I decided to for Darfons because I've never had a bad meal or experience there. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. I normally order the baby kale salad (which is delicious) to go but I've also dinned with my fiancé and sat at the bar for lunch by myself. All scenarios were outstanding!
(5)Andy H.
(1)Heather C.
Out of towners here for client visits. Had a birthday to celebrate before the Grand Ole Opry. Made a 4:30 reservation. Server was fun & nice, apps were yummy. Dinners were all great! The reviews were mixed but we truly had a lovely time!
(4)J G.
(3)Rhonda A.
(5)Shawn S.
The perfect place (locally owned) to grab a bite when traveling to and from Nashville. Great food (love the fresh salmon and salad options) great service and great atmosphere! Especially when entertaining clients for lunch and dinner.
(5)Phil K.
It is bad!
(1)David L.
(4)Elysse M.
Great service and food, even when the are extremely busy! If you like your steaks rare, order "Pittsburgh" and you won't be disappointed!
(5)Sam S.
I have been here three time. The service was great every time. I have had hamburgers, fish & a samoan wrap. The price range from $15 to $30 for dinner. It is a great place if you are on the road. Beats the hell out of the same old same old. I would definitely come back!
(4)Jessica H.
(4)Lashona M.
(5)Erin H.
(3)Loren G.
I have to agree with Steve mcdaniel on this one. I really wanted it to be good but there really is something wrong with the cuts of meat. I do have to say that the service was prompt. As for the rest I think you could put a half a dozen chaIn signs out front and think you were at anyone of them
(3)Adriano M.
(4)Thomas T.
Locals place. Everyone seems to know everyone. They get swamped and stay swamped as people from other tables visit with other tables. Not a fast turnover especially in the bar. Good food. Not to die for but better than most.
(3)Megan P.
(1)Roger N.
Well done!
(5)Zorin D.
The food was very good though the portions are a little overwhelming.
(4)Trevor T.
(5)Stephanie T.
(3)David S.
If I lived here I would definitely become a regular. Staff are cool people, bar keep makes a mean old fashioned, the black and blue was crispy spicy goodness
(5)Patrick M.
(4)Erin F.
(4)Eric F.
(4)Emilia M.
(4)Jimmy M.
(4)David G.

Near hotel that wasn't a chain restaurant n concierge suggested. Everything was good and OK. We got there and was seated promptly even though it was busy & Saturday night. Waitress was pleasant and efficient. Ordered calamari, 2 steaks (medium) one was the premium n other was mid prices one, seafood pasta (shrimp n scallops) n had Ca. Salad. Everything was OK. Seafood pasta only had 3 medium size shrimp n a handful of 'bay scallops'. Was expecting a little larger scallops and more shrimp for a dish nearly $20. The Ca salad was drenched in dressing (i liked the raspberry dressing but still too much) also the avocado was hard n still green making it virtually inedible. The steaks came so fast literally like 10-15mins after ordering. We've ordered a lot of steaks before and I've never complained about the speed of service but I thought maybe the steaks were partially precooked or something in order to be prepared so fast like that. Also I didn't think the one cut of steak was that good. There was something about the taste of it that didn't taste right to me. The desserts Creme brûlée n chocolate cake were very yummy. It was a little pricey for what really seems like an Italian restaurant. We'd go here again though if we come back in town or if we lived in town n wanted a fancy place for a bday! It wasn't bad but it wasn't spectacular either. Nothing really stood out n each plate had something that wasn't quite right.

This place is great. Amazing food and a great staff.

(4)Bridget A.
(4)Zach G.
(3)Beth G.
Staff was prompt and friendly. Food was amazing and very fast. The place was packed on a Thursday night for dinner, but my meal arrived within 10-15 minutes. Would recommend to anyone in the area. You could easily dress up for dinner here or show up in jeans and fit right in.
(5)Ann W.
Excellent blackened salmon on spinach with a very tasty brown rice/barley mix. Have been here before and food is just really solid. Not too fancy, not too plain, and well prepared. Just bring a sweater as its always cold!!!
(4)Sherry M.
Great waitress, great shrimp scampi and salad. I so enjoyed the good food! 18 of us went back the next night and had an amazing waiter and great food!
(5)Angela T.
Group dinner, salads were great. I had a couple of people who had the grouper and sent it back because it was very dry.

(4)Evamarie N.
(4)Dave C.
(4)Andy M.
Great food n good price. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town!
(4)Beau E.
(3)Susan W.
(4)Leslie C.
(4)Susan S.
(2)Peter A.
(4)Jessica G.
Wow I wish I had the experience everyone else had. I just went there Friday evening and altho the atmosphere was great the food sucked I couldn't even finish it. I wouldn't go there again to be honest.
(1)Mike C.
I have to this place many times and have always been happy with the food service etc. I will be a customer for life.
(5)Priya K.
Few veggie choices but taste is pretty good. The salads are fresh.
(3)Molly A.
Nice atmosphere, friendly service and good food.
(4)Lorrie B.
Excellent food. Service was great. Prices are reasonable! Will be back when in Nashville!
(5)Chris L.
My new favorite restaurant in East Nashville. A little more expensive, but the food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Had the mediterranean pasta with chicken - delicious!
(5)Stuart W.
(4)Heather N.
Yum! Back to Nashville on business. Good steak, great salad, good fries. Fabulous wine list. Great service, good ambiance. I highly recommend and will return if I, well, return,.
(4)Heather R.
(4)Greg L.
(4)Jourden V.
Yeah...I'm a fan. The last time we ate at Darfon's they had a to-die-for blackened-blue pasta alfredo on special. I've never heard of steak on pasta, but it was wicked. They also have two-for-one drinks on Saturday nights. Yay! Great burgers, also.
(4)Thomas N.
Nice decor to this place. Was surprised how busy they were tonight with Kenny and Tim performing on this night. Wait staff seemed understaffed tonight for this restaurant as the service was a bit slow. Started out with cocktails and calamari. Liked the coating on the squid, but it seemed like it could have used more flavor, maybe sauté some garlic into the sweet peppers that they already had in this dish. Salads were good but for my palate, I wished they were less heavy handed on the bacon (which was freshly made) and shredded cheese. I enjoyed my New York Strip, which had an Asian peppered crust that I enjoyed. My wife had the blackened ribeye, which I thought was a little bland, but she enjoyed. However, it was duly noted on their menu, to not expect good results from any steaks made past medium. We asked that her steak be done medium well and it was well done. Maybe that is why there wasn't much flavor there.
(3)Yvonne E.
Excellent service from Carol. She was friendly and personable and knew just what to recommend. We had the Kobe beef burgers, steak salad and grilled trout sandwich. Everything was great. Found them while traveling thanks to yelp
(4)Melinda P.
We have tried Darfon's 2x since moving from the Atlanta area. The service and food was excellent on both occasions.
(5)Amy M.
(5)Fred B.
This restaurant was near our hotel and decided to try it from the reviews. I had the steak Oscar and my wife had the stuffed chicken breast. Both were very good and our tab was 50. The service was fast and professional. I would return.
(4)Steve M.
(2)Stuart L.
Both the food and service were very good here. We chose this restaurant based on the Yelp recommendations, and were not disappointed. Portions were generous and I did not think it was overpriced.
(4)YL C.
(5)Scott L.
Food was great for the price. Service was quick.
(5)Junie D.
(3)Sherry W.
(5)Daniel J.
Really good food and service, but not a bargain considering the price.
(4)Randy T.
pretty good food, except for the imitation crab meat they used on my steak oscar.
(2)jeffrey h.
food was excellent! blackened porkchops were great as was the service. next time we r in Nashville we will come back
(4)Amy L.
Spectacular service & food! The reviews lived up to my expectations! Portions are large and great for sharing!
(5)Marie S.
Steak was good. Side veg of spinach was AWFUL. It was swimming in olive oil - olive oil and spinach (a high quality flavorful olive oil) don't mix. Also not enough garlic to cover up the olive oil taste. Service is slow.
(3)Whitney T.

This was my second time at Darfon's. I ate here about a year & a half ago & remembered the experience to be good. I'm not sure why I didn't do a review, but I would've gave it a 4 star. This time wasn't as great. We decided to meet some friends who were in town flying out tomorrow. We decided on Darfon's because of its location near the airport. I do like the atmosphere of Darfon's. I'm not sure why it's called a lounge because it's basically a restaurant & a bar. Our server was friendly, but he seemed very rushed. If we asked for something he'd rush off before we could ask him about something else. It's hard to explain but it was odd. We had a salmon cakes & fried calamari for appetizers. Both were good. The calamari wasn't chewy like it can be at some places. I decided on the black & blue burger & fries as my sized. I ordered it medium & the 3 other people ordered the Kobe burger, which is 14 dollars so I'm not really sure if it's actually Kobe because Kobe beef is usually expensive. A member of my party ordered his medium well & it came out as medium rare. My burger was delivered with a cup of sautéed mushrooms. I love mushrooms so I didn't ask where my fries where that I ordered. The black & blue burger is a burger with blue cheese on it. It was good but if you're not a HUGE fan of blue cheese, you'll get burned out on the taste halfway through. The burgers we received were each a different variety of what we ordered. My medium burger was cooked more than the medium well burger. Overall the experience was okay, but not great. I do have the say the manager on duty was very nice and gave my my wallet that I somehow dropped in the bathroom.

Went there with some friends. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. I would definitely give it another shot though.
(3)Ryan B.
Recommended from a local colleague and lived up to the billing. Coming from fl I thought the prices were great. Had the pork, tasted great and was a large portion. Beer list and prices are pretty good as well.
(5)Nick W.
Scoped out this place after staying at a local hotel. Loved every thing about it. Casual dining with an upscale feel. The price is right and the portions are plentiful. I had hopes for some dessert but the French Quarter Pasta filled me up. Kudos to the Darfons team.
(5)Ken S.
Wonderful experience every time I go! This is my favorite little local gem!
(5)Elizabeth J.
Our go-to place if we want a quick dinner. All the sandwiches are good and reasonably priced. We also always have fantastic service.

Uhm... Here now. I usually like to be more wordy in my reviews but...very disappointing. Terrible meal, terrible drinks, great service. One out if three is a failing grade!
(1)Mike D.

(4)Sierra M.
(5)Paul P.

(3)Th S.

(2)Martin L.

OK, so to start with ... we ate a late lunch today at Hattie B's chicken close to Vanderbilt University ... so even waiting until 7pm, we were still a little stuffed. Thus we didn't order any entrées, just salads, soups, sandwich and appetizers ... along with some beer/tea. We arrived at 7pm and were told of a 15 minute wait, which was fine. About 13 minutes from then our pager went off, so they have a fairly good grasp of the actual wait times for their restaurant. This is important to me, as this isn't something that is too hard to figure out and so many restaurants chase off business by quoting much too long of wait times or tick folks off by providing obviously wrong wait times. We were seated for just a moment when our server arrived. We grilled him about the various beer selections and he passed with flying colors. He suggested some appetizers and we did order the black bean dip, which was one of his suggestions. Great suggestion as it the combination of flavors was tasty. He returned shortly with the beer and the iced teas and took our dinner order. I ordered the Chef's Summer Salad and asked to switch out the spinach for mixed greens. The salad was awesome -mandarin oranges, cranberries, strawberries, blue cheese and toasted walnuts with a vinaigrette dressing. I also ordered a bowl of tomato bisque. I must be on a tomato soup kick, as I have ordered tomato soup twice this month at restaurants and previously had gone a decade or more without ordering tomato soup. Darfon's tomato bisque was very good. One of my associates also had the bisque as well as a Caesar salad, which he also said was very good. The other person enjoyed the calamari appetizer and a tuna appetizer. He really seemed to enjoy both. Our server was attentive throughout, ensuring we were offered additional beer, refilling the teas, pre-bussing the dishes, and offering dessert. We really enjoyed the place. Back to the hotel and writing the review by 8:30pm (including a 13 minute await)! Another good eating establishment in Nashville. Especially to be as close to the airport and the airport hotels as it is located. I'm confident that perhaps 1/3 of their business is from the hotels/airports and they handle it well.
(4)Tammy M.
(4)David E.
Food is great. However - found the staff to be curt, indifferent, and unwelcoming. That goes for the hostess as well as the waitress.
(3)Brandon S.
My wife and I tried Stefanos for a late birthday dinner. We ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer. It was wonderful! My wife decided to try the shrimp and scallop pasta as her entrée she loved it. I have the Jack Daniels ribeye with a side of broccoli and it was delicious. We decided to skip dessert but did choose to have a glass of the red and white sangria after dinner which we both enjoyed very much I highly recommend this restaurant to any body looking to have a very nice dinner. The service was excellent even though they were very busy!
(5)Dan G.
(4)Steve H.
(5)Claudia L.
I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The service was great. Great prices and the food was outstanding. Only negative is that Nashville is obviously not used to Asian patrons. Jeeezzz.... it's 2015, get with it.
(4)Melissa G.
Great place to eat! We went during lunch and they were really busy but got us in and out very quickly. The staff is very attentive! I will make plans to return! The food was amazing.
(5)Cait C.
Have been here a few times while traveling for business. As far as restaurants near the airport, this is as good as it gets. Salads are decent, great garlic mashed potatoes, nothing low calorie. They have a large menu with most of the standard American style foods you would expect to see, and they are consistent.
(3)Kari D.
(2)Lynne P.
(5)Alex B.
(4)Ruggy J.

For my birthday weekend, my wife and I traveled to Nashville, TN. We wanted to find a nice restaurant that was convenient to our hotel, preferably one we could walk to, since we probably would be enjoying a cocktail or two and didn't want to drive or pay a high cab fare. Just around the corner, and within walking distance of our hotel, we discovered Darfon's Restaurant and Lounge and so we decided to give it a try, and let me say, "This place is pretty darn good!" We arrived around 7 pm and were promptly seated, but it was an extremely busy evening, so it took a while before a server came to acknowledge us and tell us about the evenings offerings. While the prices are not outlandishly high, they are by no means inexpensive so we were surprised that so many families with smaller children were in the restaurant. I ordered my favorite, ROASTED LAMB CHOPS - $22 served on yukon gold mashed potatoes & vegetables with red wine-dijon reduction and my wife ordered GRILLED PRIME RIB SANDWICH - $14 on ciabatta with sautée mushroom, swiss cheese, mixed baby greens & tomato served with creamy horseradish. We ordered a bottle of B. R. Coehn Silver Lable Cabernet Sauvignon to accompany our dinner. I ordered my chops on the rare side of medium rare and they were perfectly cooked. My wife's prime rib was tender, succulent and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The pros were the outstanding food and wine. The cons: we had to ask our server more than once to please light the candle on our table, my meal was served several minutes before my wife's meal was served and after we were served, our wine had not been delivered and I had to get up to find our server to ask for it to be delivered, and the restaurant is rather noisy with tables fairly close to each other. The cons resulted in a 3-star review which, had we had great service, would have resulted in a 4 star review.
(3)Chris R.
Solid menu but sketchy neighborhood. Great food if you get in late and want something better than a chain restaurant for dinner. Not gonna be a "gotta go back there" experience, but if I were local I would have this place on my rotation. Kale Salad is great!
(3)Emily A.
Ate here once and the food was great! It came out really fast! The staff was friendly and the place was clean! Will definitely be returning! The menu is large so I want to try as many as possible! Would definitely bring friends to come back!
(5)Donna W.
I throughly enjoyed this place. Ordered the hummus plate and the Monterey salad. They were delicious and huge! My mom and I split the plates and we barely finished one.
(5)Hilary H.
(3)Devyn L.
(2)Renee S.
I really liked this place. There's a great variety of food and lots of vegetarian options. The drinks are awesome. The venue is nice. We went during a very busy time in the evening and we still got great service and great food! I'm definitely a fan. If I were to return to Nashville I'd be back!
(4)Solomon D.
Really nice looking place. The waitress was absolutely fantastic. We only ordered wings but they were great. Cooked well and spiced well. We didn't stay long but if I'm in the area I will be back.
(4)Frank M.
Relying on other yelp reviews i found this restaurant.had the pork-chops. This place is un-believable. food is excellent wait service is excellent you can't lose by going here
(5)J R.
I had a great experience. I went during lunch time. I had quick service and a delicious steak! I ordered a fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I'd definitely go here again.
(4)Ted A.
My wife and I really liked our meals here! I think if we had known how good the meatloaf was we would have chosen this place earlier in our stay. I would love to go back, but I am here a week only, and this is Nashville. Foodie paradise!!
(5)Andra B.
(5)Charles F.
Okay really sums it up. Nice atmosphere, nice people too. That being said, my steak was juicy and the right temp, and to be frank, I was happy with it - but there was no "wow."
(3)Rodney F.
In Nashville for my cousins wedding and ate here for lunch. We discovered this place by searching for places near the hotel we were staying and this was the highest rated. We were not disappointed. We started with some fresh bread with olive oil dipping sauce and fresh garlic. It was really tasty. I then had the Kobe Burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I also sampled my daughters pasta and it had a great taste. We enjoyed our main course so much we decided to test our luck with the desert menu. Once again we were not disappointed. The creme brûlée was wonderful. I also tasted some of the carrot cake and it was pretty great. If I were local this would be one of my regular spots. Great food and prompt service.

(1)Kate J.
(5)Joe T.
I was told that this was one of the better restaurants near the airport. It is always packed, but the food is mediocre.
(3)Paul L.
Seafood combo was delicious would have given it 5 stars of they went lighter on cooking time for yellow fin tuna and the crab cake was perfect. The calamari and buffalo wings were made to perfection...I like my wings more on the well done / crispy side.
(4)Kristi R.
(3)Lisa S.
Went Wed. 2/24/15. My husbands chicken was dry and stale, crab mixture served on top was mushy. My dinner was less than okay. Last few visits , Darfons seems to be in decline. Still $$$ not worth $. I'm sad and disappointed.
(1)Jon P.
Great food and service. The price was what you would expect from a restaurant on the nicer side. I would return
(5)Lucas R.

(4)Kris T.
(4)Curtis N.
Good restaurant. Service was good. Warming though. The chicken oscar is served with imitation crab meat and not real crab.
(3)Jennifer R.
Excellent food and service, must try the kale salad and flour less chocolate cake!! we tried the Salmon and Kobe burger, both absolutely delicious!
(5)Dale R.
Never had a bad meal here, Good steaks and on my last visit I had a burger and I have to say it was one of the better burgers I've had anywhere. If you like burgers then you should give them a try! Most people come here for their other meals and in the past I've had a great filet here as well as a very good prime rib.
(4)Tony C.

(4)Forrest S.
The gnocchi alfredo and pork dish were delicious. Draft beers were very limited but they seeemed to have a good bottled beer list. If you are near the airport and looking for a place to eat this is your best bet.
(5)Art R.
First time at this place recommended by the hotel. I had the baked Cod that was to die for. Seriously the chef used some sort of malt caper sauce that was amazing. Prices very reasonable and service was great. Will definitely return. Don't miss this one!!!
(5)Lee F.
(2)Mike F.
(3)Chris W.
(4)Tommy F.
There's too much good food in Nashville to waste your time here. The server didn't ask us how our meal was. My guess is its because she knows the food is bad.
(1)Derek B.
(4)Robert P.
One of the few highlights of dinning near the airport area around Nashville. This area has always been a ghost town for good restaurants for some reason. Nice place with great service and the Jack Daniels chicken sandwich is always great!
(4)Lillia L.
The most recent meal enjoyed was Filet Oscar... perfection.
(5)Dan S.
This is indeed the best filet I've ever had! Love having this place so close to my hotel when I come to Nashville. Truly a gem whose lack of pretension and incredible food make it the perfect place to get a meal on the road. Love this place. Love it!
(5)Kenny Y.
My favorite restaurant in Nashville.

I had the chicken salad sandwich it was awesome. It was fresh and the fries were great
(5)Tim D.
Wings are best around. Burger was fair. I will be back & order double wings next time
(4)Brandon T.
I had the black and blue burger, and it was one of the best burgers I have had to date. Server was attentive and the over all experience was very enjoyable. Great local beer selection on draft as well. Perfect place to unwind after a long day.
(5)Lea M.
(3)David L.
I'm gonna get right to the point here. There are SO many choices for lunch. and, to a large degree, you typically will select someplace close by - especially during the week. Right? Time is precious.... Well, if you happen to be out near the airport area, and you want something simple and fairly quick, check this place out. I've been here several times - usually for lunch; once for dinner. Of the several menu items I've experienced, I'd have to say the Blackened Prime Rib sandwich (on ciabatta with béarnaise & mixed baby greens) is a very good meal. The blackened flavoring is good and the meat is tender. When you get right down to it, what more would you expect? This delivers! This place is a nice stop during the day. (I may give it another chance for dinner soon.) Pluses: - good menu selection - roomy (never had to wait) - prices - overall access/convenience Minuses: - service is so/so (not overly friendly) On balance, this place is a solid lunch spot, based on my recent experience.
(3)Candace B.
Came to this little spot for lunch because it was in walking distance of my hotel. Nice decor friendly people. I ordered one of the lunch specials for the day which was grilled salmon with rice pilaf and broccoli. (I subbed those sides for mashed red skin potatoes and sautéed spinach. Everything was amazing! Perfectly cooked and seasoned with great portions (i ended up taking some spinach to go). I ordered the chicken Davinici to go so I could eat it for dinner. As i was eating it was ok, but now that I'm done my stomach feels a little queesy maybe cuz it was all in a buttery oily bath. Overall, if I ever had to be stuck in Nashville again due to a flight cancelation I would go back.
(4)Rachael B.
Oasis in sea of horrible greasy chains in this area. Creative, fresh and yummy cocktails. Excellent service even during dinner / after work Rush. Better than vanilla food offerings very well-executed.
(5)Dave L.
(4)Brendan B.
(5)Melissa M.
(4)Jaclyn B.
(2)David H.

(5)Little Black Dress Club ..
(5)Austin C.
Darfons is one of the best restaurants in Nashville and it seems to be a pretty well-kept secret. I've been at least five times now and never had a meal I didn't love. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive and they also have a great bar and patio.
(5)Kara Y.
(2)Anita P.

(4)Rich R.
(5)Bruce L.

(4)Colleen M.
The food here is well worth the price. We had filet mignon and a ribeye. Delicious!
(5)Victoria S.
I don't want to say anything bad so I will just say the best in the immediate area. I just feel more sorry for people who don't know what good food really tastes like. Great service.
(3)Paddy O.
(3)Shelby A.
Plenty of reviews on Darfon's, but I just enjoyed a fine meal with excellent service.
(4)Marie S.
(3)Catherine K.
(5)Kaley S.
(5)Jack H.
(4)Angela H.
Good food, friendly staff. Our food came out really fast and was pretty good and portion size was really big. It's just a little pricey and the kids menu is not good.
(4)Brian O.
Really nice ambiance for an upscale meal. Service staff are personable and can help you decide on a tasty meal that is reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this as a worthwhile eatery.
(4)Mary V.

This restaurant was delightful. We had Keith as a server and he was very helpful with any questions we had about the menu as well as personable. My parents and I had a great meal and their puréed potato side is delicious! My salad had the best made in house dressing (all of their dressings are made in house) and the ambiance topped it off for me. Great place to eat!!! Yummy mixed drinks as well.
