Great little spot in the Gulch. I've had a few of their specialty drinks and sandwiches, which were all really good. Their breakfast burrito is my absolute favorite! Delicious and not over-priced. And they deliver in the Gulch area for just $1, with no minimum. There should be more places that do that around The Gulch - keeps me coming back to Bond every week!

Icon residents would really appreciate a coffee shop open on Sundays. Service is quite slow but the muffins are great!

Went with the stock vanilla latte. Great Cup of coffee. A little pretentious, but it's the Gulch. My wife had to wait on her Tracey Bond, a coconut latte creation. In fact I was 3/4 finished with my latte by the time her drink was up. Overall, pleasant locally owned coffee shop.

eh. if you are already in the gulch and need a fix, this place will do. they have the basics expected, and a few extra treats too. they also have bottled kombucha tea, but it's not made in house, nevertheless, bottled kombucha tea is better than no kombucha tea. there were lots of dudes wearing skinny jeans and throw-back connor oberst haircuts, and others who looked like their dogs just died, so if you like that i guess this would be reason for you to come out of your way here.

This is a seriously classy coffee shop. Amazing espresso, love the London Fog specialty drink, and the Buchi brand kombucha is delicious and cheekily presented in glass beer bottles. I love the wrought-iron chandeliers and the smooth modern-yet-comfy decor. The customer service is fabulous/friendly/genuine and when they make the cookies in the back, the smell will knock your proverbial socks clean off.

I notice only positive reviews stay up when writing about Bond Coffee Co. Let me do it again. I am appalled at a total disconnect that the staff has with 1) how to operate a tv and 2) not having news available (they have a TV mind you, just set to daytime drama) to people that want nt and desire to hear about an explosion in downtown Manhattan. There were more than just 2 couples that heard about a NY explosion and wanted to see the news but the staff didn't , couldn't, figure out how to use the TV. The coffee, the expertly made Cappuccino's were lackluster, expensive and even not warm. Ok, maybe "warm" but certainly not hot. Just wait till competition comes into this Gulch neighborhood, like a Starbucks or a Dunkin Donuts and you'll see me flee (along with others I bet) to a new and less staid and undefined coffee shop. No excuse for poor employees not knowing the systems of their workplace.

Cute place! Came here because the place down the road was too crowded and I was by myself. Got the breakfast burrito and an iced mocha! Delicious little breakfast! Didn't give it 5 stars because it's a little pricy.. But not bad!

Slow service and rude employees. The food is extremely overpriced and generic, NOT made in-house. Oh, and my coffee had grinds in it. Biggest coffee shop disappointment ever.

I was staying with my friend next door when I decided to stop in for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. For someone who typically orders a plank old cup of coffee, I decided to be adventurous and got the Tracey bond; a latte with coconut, almond and chocolate milk. It was delicious and hit the spot. For a 5 dollars, the latte was reasonable and the ambiance in the cafe was nice too; I saw a couple people on their laptops. I will definitely be returning for another cup!

I ordered by 8 year old daughter two scoops of ice cream and a latte for me. My daughter had finished her ice cream about 5 minutes before I was ever served. The girl making the coffee looked like she was being bothered. It was crowded but there was no "going in order" of who paid. I live around here and will not be back.

Extremely convenient for Gulch and especially Icon residents. You don't even have to go outside for coffee! I've had a couple lattes here, and they are just OK in my book. I definitely prefer the soy lattes over anything else, but there's just something about the espresso that I don't love... hmmm. The food is good, I like their sandwiches and the pastries look pretty awesome as well. Service is friendly and reasonably quick, and I think what bumps this place up is that their space is pretty solid and always clean. Great for Icon inhabitants and locals who are in the area, but don't make a trip out of your way to get here. Coffee is just alright.

Cute little coffee shop! Modern feel to it. Stopped here while my friends and I were visiting for the weekend.

I'm not one for leaving yelp reviews, but woof, this place is a mess. after a wonderful trip in Nashville, we stopped here for coffee and breakfast before driving home. the cashier informed us that the food would be "a few minutes" because there were orders in front of ours. we did receive our coffees immediately, but the coffee was some of the worst I've ever had! it then took over 30 minutes for me to get my yogurt parfait. after 25 minutes, I asked the cashier how much longer it would be, and he reacted with incredible rudeness, saying something along the lines of "how should I know?" once we did receive our food it was under-salted and lukewarm. the table next to us was similarly disenchanted with the food and service. for the wait and cost there are plenty of places in Nashville that will treat you with respect, so I suggest avoiding this place.

Tasty coffee and even tastier treats. Whether you're in the mood for brunch, coffee or a quick snack Bond has you covered. One of the staff suggested I allow them to heat up the banana chocolate chip muffin I had selected one afternoon... Rest assured of you also opt for this little trick you will have a new addiction on your hands. Yum!!! They also have a nice little brunch menu featuring sandwiches and other options that will leave you feeling totally satisfied. My only complaint is that they aren't open on Sundays which is a problem considering my new habit. Let me assure you warm and gooey banana chocolate muffin withdrawal can be an ugly thing. My favorite menu items: Iced Mocha, Banana Chocolate Muffins, Chicken Salad sandwich.

Recently stopped here for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning while my wife was getting her hair done next door, and had a cup of coffee and a cookie while I read a book and waited. This is the perfect location and was very busy the entire time I was their. Service was fast and friendly, and the quality was very good. I was never rely bothered the hole time I was their and it was a peacefull way to spend a morning. Not much else I can realy say as it is a Coffee plae!

Lost a star for being kind of pricey for the coffee. However, it is pretty delicious. Currently sipping a Strawberry Fields, a latte with white chocolate, Irish cream, and strawberry flavoring. So delicious! It came filled right to the brim and looked perfect.

Oh Gulch, how can you be such a pretentious part of an otherwise down to earth city? Alright, I stopped in after the gym to see what the coffee was like. I had a Honey Ryder latte which was pretty tasty but a little steep for $5. The place is super clean and well appointed but I don't think it's the kind of spot to come in your gym clothes and kick it (the stares I got!) but I guess that's just the neighborhood. Locally owned, I support that.

Nice atmosphere -- good place for a quick bite of breakfast and a hot drink on a chilly morning. No complaints about the breakfast sandwich or latte I sampled - both were tasty. But nothing about my experience blew me away either. The kind of place I recommend if it's convenient to where you already happen to be. I'd definitely return if I was visiting the gulch area but probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

On a whim I decided to stop in Bond Coffee on my way to Juice Nashville. I have to say I was surprised to find this cozy little gem in the middle of the gulch. The atmosphere is what I would call "Coziness Elevated" The chandeliers serve as a nice compliment to the surplus of handwritten chalkboard signs. The baristas were extremely helpful and friendly. They rattled off the list of latte options with patience and enthusiasm. I love that they have soy AND almond alternatives. You'd be surprised how many places only offer soy. This may be a tiny but picky but I also like that their stoppers for to go coffee are only 1/4 the length of a regular stopper. I don't know if they are being economical or environmental but either way it was a tiny detail that made me like the place a little bit more. I had an almond cinnamon latte which was served up quickly and ran around $6.00. Which is pretty average for a medium latte with a milk alternative added. It was slightly less bitter than other lattes I've had in the past but I didn't find the cinnamon to be very noticeable. Overall I would say the latte was definitely above average. I would recommend this place to a friend without hesitation!

This place is amazing. The barista that helped us was very pleasant and friendly. She made us a couple of the Carmel Eye (apple/caramel flavor) and it was amazing. The caramel/apple taste didn't overwhelm the coffee flavor. I would visit again if I come back to Nashville's Gulch!

I've had a couple different lattes from here and they've been really great, but the star of the show for me is the breakfast burrito. It's dangerous that this place is on my way to the office, because I fear I'll get this monster every day. Bacon, egg, cheese, tomato, avocado, salsa, and sour cream; not for the faint of heart, but absolutely delicious.

Kathleen Bond is another proud Belmont U graduate running a 12 South coffeehouse. A BU grad earlier opened the Jam down the street at Wedgewood. I feel we can never have too many coffeehouses; caffeine is my buzz. Kathleen's barristas are a couple of neat Bond boys and girls whose smiles tell me they are happy to be there. I like that the coffee is handed to me hot by the Bond barrista and not in a self-serve pot like some other spots. I also like the mystery of the latin Orbis Non Sufficit in Bond's coat of arms which I think means the world is not enough. The fresh pastries are coming from bakers like Silke's, while other menu items including parfaits are made in-house. This week it's mainly just coffee being served with a reeved-up menu of paninis and other sandwiches, salads and such next week.

I've been to every darn coffee shop in Nashville. I go to places which have coffee, but focus on other things, I try coffee stands, I've been gobs of places out of Nashville, and I can say this for Bond Coffee Company: Best New Coffee Shop 2013 Taking over the space previously held by Casablanca Coffee, they've stripped down the adornments, cleared the barriers, focused on the basics, and brought in St. Louis-based Kaldi coffee. I am always interested in trying a new coffee, and this one works. I could have more Kaldi Coffee in my life, and in short order, the relatively new baristas have figured out the art of making good coffee. They play the "Bond" gimmick way up, and I like it. Tart L. mentioned, Kathleen Bond is a local Belmont graduate, so it's a family name as well as a movie callback, but they revel in unique drink names like "Honey Ryder" (from "Dr. No") and Tracey Bond (from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"). Kathleen and her sister are stately, almost majestic, young ladies whom any dashing British MI5 agent would readily give up his gallivanting, continent-hopping lifestyle for. My feelings on coffee shops change like the wind. Places that I loved before have fallen in my eyes, and places that I didn't care for have jumped with welcome changes. But for a brand-new place with green-as-heck baristas, I cannot endorse this place enough. Bond Coffee is top coffee agent, and the secret needs to get out.

One of the best reasons I love this place is that they carry hemp milk! Before they opened, they took the time to respond to me via FB regarding some allergies I have and they listened and considered the option. Lo and behold, they updated me when they opened that they would carry a brand of hemp milk that is also carrageenan free! I love having different coffee options, and we all know Nashville has some great ones, so I can't thank them enough. I'm really looking forward to stopping by for their salad options. Hoping they get gluten free items as well.

The friendly and trendy baristas know what they're doing here. I like to engage in jokingly sarcastic dialog with baristas (in general), and the Bond Coffee people are amused and happy to oblige.

Always stop here when in the Gulch. Great environment...so clean! Very helpful staff. Next time I'll try to plan to stay for lunch.

Not your typical over roasted Starbucks knock-off, or even a HIPSTER snobby coffee dive...just a real, quality, laid-back, space for consumption of coffee and coffee related foods...in the middle of The Gulch in Nashville. Your "respite" from hipster/trendy Gulchness.

Really cool atmosphere here. I'd already had about 3 cups of coffee by the time we stopped in here, so we both got the "Memorial Day Special" which was a root beer float - although they may always have those. It was just ice cream and root beer, but it was really delicious. The staff was REALLY nice and gave us tips of places to see in the area. I'm not giving it 5 stars because, at the end of the day, it's a normal coffee shop. But like I said, everyone was really nice and it was a really cool atmosphere.

Cool atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Had a good cup of tea, but was completely unimpressed by the chocolate espresso pie I tried.
