I went here with my half marathon running partner... and in every way this reminds of classy French bistro with southern flare... with none of the snottyness of course... We had the famed Brussels Sprouts, and for a girl who doesn't brussel sprouts... She ate it up... She had a burger and I had the hot chicken - normally it sounds like normal pub food, but the difference is all in the presentation and the flavoring... It was simply delicious and the service was warm and friendly - but not pesky... Oh and my favorite was how they bent over backwards for me to get a table as I waited... super helpful folks

"CHEERS!" she said, "CHEERS!" with a hollow, dead look in her eyes, my inebriated friend insisted on raising her glass for what had to be the 30th time in 20 minutes. Getting to blvd Nashville had been difficult, to say the least. The traveling circus that was our friend group spent an hour trying to set up new uber accounts to get discounts, and many of them chose to spend that time taking indiscriminate pulls out of a bottle of Four Roses, so needless to say we were a little "loose" by the time we got there. Naturally, we reached straight for the drink menu first off, and got a round of beers. And this was a great choice, because all of the beers were top notch, and they have a really well-rounded selection. My "Cheers-ing" friend got the Hot Dog, which was really quite clever, since the the dog was hot in many senses of the word, INCLUDING a heavy dose of Sriracha Aoli, a fact that she did not fail to remind us of repeatedly over the course of the night. Many things happened that night that I don't even want to think about ever again, but I will duly report that our meals were all great. Bottom Line: The bottle of Four Roses can be long gone, your friends can all be disasters, and blvd Nashville will still come through in your hour of need.

I've been here three times, and I am SO hot and cold about this place. For one, the Brussels sprouts are amazing -- possibly the best I've ever had. That being said, they are vinegar-heavy, which I love but others don't. I went with a group and we shared a few of the sangrias, which was great and more affordable. They have a great happy hour as well, but I would call in to check when their happy hours are because the first time I went they said "the website was wrong". The worst thing about this place are the hostesses. On my first visit here, three of them were gossiping at the front and actually seemed annoyed when we asked to be seated. Unacceptable behavior, but the servers I've had have all been friendly enough. This is probably the first place I've been in Nashville where the food is great but the service is meh.

Went here for happy hour on a Friday night. Good food, good drinks, good prices. I had the grilled cheese off of the happy hour menu, plus (more than one) glass of the house white wine. Group of 6 was able to get a table at 6 PM no problem (though it was packed by the time we left). Our servers were great about checking on us often and re-filling waters frequently. They were also very patient as our table straggled in over the course of half an hour. I would like to come back sometime and try food off of the full menu - it looked really good!

Sunday brunch is crowded; get there early but be prepared for delays in getting a table. However, if your party is small you can sit at the bar and order food. The food is very good but again, in the brunch rush, do not expect speedy service. Bloody Mary's are marvelous. Had 3 while I was waiting so I wasn't too peeved.

Came here for brunch with a large party. They confirmed they could take a large reservation since they had a party room ($100 fee) I figured that wasn't a big deal since it was so many of us... Long story short, the food was really good, but the service was ABSOLUTELY horrendous. When we arrived, the room was not yet ready, and when we entered nothing was set up, so plate/dinner ware etc. This wouldn't have been a problem if our server was able to handle a large group and get everything out, but he was not. Seemed like a very inexperienced and short tempered server. He struggled to get us coffee and the basics. He was short with us, and even sorta nasty which was really weird. At one point as we were waiting an hour and half for brunch he asked "are you getting mad because you all are hungry". LOL what server in their right mind would treat a table like that??? Apparently Patrick from BLVD would! (pretty sure that was his name). It was so bad that the manager took over the table for the remainder of the time - she was pleasant, much more than I can say about our server. And please note that I had been in the service industry in nj/nyc throughout college, so I don't think I was expecting too much. Just manage your clientele's expectations and things will go much smoother, also helps when the server doesn't cop an attitude with their guests... Oh and the last part....whoever took care of payment put the entire $500 bill on my debit card, they did reverse it, but it took a week for the funds to return to my account...they never even offered to waive the party room fee. All around #FAIL

Best happy hour in town!! 2-4-8 cocktails and apps (mix and match) Great vibe and plenty if outdoor(ish) seating.

Stopped by here again on a Sunday for brunch. We waited a little for them to bus some of the tables so we could get seated out front on the patio. We tired to order sweet tea & the server said "we're out of sweat tea, it goes pretty fast on Sundays". I feel like if you know it goes fast on Sunday's, wouldn't you plan accordingly & make more? I'm not sure. Just a thought. I ordered the burger. I'd had it last time & I really enjoyed the flavor of the meat. This time around the burger wasn't very hot when I got it & was more greasy wet than flavorful juicy. Someone in my party asked for ranch & they didn't have it. I really wish they'd just serve water with a glass of ice. The room temperature water I guess is a tactic to get you to order something else to drink. I still do enjoy the salt & pepper fries. Next time I'll try something else than the burger.

I've been back to BLVD several times since I wrote my first review, and in that time I've watched it slowly slide down the list of places that I want to pay money for food. Why? Remember those baskets of fresh soft pretzels and corn bread waffles with fancy butters and jams that welcomed you to your table? Gone. The kitchen staff couldn't keep up with demand. That alternative bread basket really set the stage for a great meal. My dinners since then have been a fair bit dimmer. The hot chicken sandwich? Fine, but not great. I just took my parents there. They live in nowheresville, arkansas, and even they were unimpressed. I'm crossing it off my list.

What a happy hour. We had a group of 6+ stop by at 2pm the other day to take advantage of the perfect patio weather and awesome Belmont people watching. I learned two things yesterday. Apparently high rise jeans are back. And Blvd has a killer happy hour. 2 for $8!! Thats a steal knowing that the drinks alone typically are $5-$8 and some of the appetizers are already in the $6 range. Included in the Deal Drinks: 1) The house bubbles- extra bubbly and delicious- typically $7 2) House White- Typically $6 3) House whiskey- Typically $7+ 4) Local brews on draft and bottle Apps we tried: 1) Blvd Fries- The Haberno, the Truffle oil... Amazing. They are exactly what I want to be when I get back from Cancun. Thin and crispy. 2) Tempura hot dogs-- not the best but pretty good with beer 3) Mac and cheese- O.K. 4) Hot chicken bites- basically a hot chicken nugget.. nothing special. But still good with beer 5) Jalepeno nachos- a tiny portion. Don't get it 6) Grilled cheese with fontina- It wasn't melty at all. Service was great. They let us relax but still kept the drinks a comin'.

How stinkin' chic! If it's a beautiful day out, this is where you should be! My friends and I like to frequent here for brunch and we caught a gorgeous day when Blvd had the doors to the porch/deck area open and WOW! I can't imagine a better way to eat my food and enjoy time with my friends. The service is excellent. Speaking of the food, you won't be disappointed with anything you order. For brunch my favorite is the waffle. It's moist and rich and just perfect! My friends loved their sandwich with the egg on top and the crab cake sandwich. I HIGHLY recommend trying their truffle oil & chive French fries. Also, the coconut cake will knock you out of your seat! This is now one of my favorite places in Nashville.

We've been here several times now and I love how easy and relaxed it is, not to mention the amazing food and great wine selection. Sadly, on our most recent trip, we couldn't convince the girl child to let us go here since for her, it's walking distance and an easy option for whenever she likes. (Apparently, parents visit now equates to "farthest or most expensive dining option I can find and where I otherwise couldn't go"...can't say I blame her.) We've decided next time she sleeps til one in the afternoon and leaves us hanging, we'll sneak over here and wait it out over some curry fries and a glass of wine and she'll be none the wiser.
(4)LaDonna T.
Came here on a Sunday for brunch. This was my first time here. I had the cured salmon. The capper berries made the dish way too salty. The flat bread it was on was doughy and should have been cooked longer. I originally wanted the po'boy sandwich so that I could try one of the variety of seasoned fries that they have, however I was told that the only season I could get was salt and pepper and the chef doesn't like it when you want to substitute . My friend had the chicken tenders which he said were very bland. The carafe of mimosa was good tho.. And my waiter was extremely nice.

Though the English teacher in me cringes at the uncapitalized name of this restaurant, I could easily fall in drunk love with the happy hour at blvd. For $8, you get to choose two (that's right, two!) items off their happy hour menu. Being an individual who likes to be well-rounded, I opted for champagne, grilled cheese, and everything that I could pick off the plates off my nearby friends. This proved to be a solid strategy. Let's start with the wine. To begin with, it had bubbles, always a point in favor of any champagne. Moving forward from these basic essentials, it was slightly sweet, caressing the insides of my throat as it quickly pushed me towards my very low drink limit. I like my champagne slightly sweet, but not saccharine, like my men, and this lived up to my expectations. On to the fontina grilled cheese. Fontina is the best of all cheeses to use for grilling, it would seem, as evidenced by the creamy deliciousness of this meal. I could feel my arteries crying out in moaning, ecstatic agony as I stuffed the entire thing into my gullet. The toast was crispy, the cheese well-melted--no complaints here. Finally, on to my third choice: Everyone else's food (one of the many benefits of hosting a happy hour club). The truffle fries were slightly under-salted (though, being a resourceful witch, I remedied this by using the salt shaker), and the mac and cheese did not impress me--it appeared to be noodles with melted cheese. No pizzazz, no flair, no interest in showing off its potential as one of the most perfect comfort foods ever invented. It seemed to be the only underachiever in a class of Ivy League-headed students. I will be back, to check out the rest of the happy hour offerings at this fine establishment!

Went to Blvd with a friend after the mayoral debates to grab dinner. Based on the reviews, I was excited about the burger. Some reviews even went as far as to say 'the best burger in Nashville' - so I was ready. Sadly, this is not what arrived on my plate. It was an underseasoned, super greasy, and hard to eat blob of food. While edible, it did not elicit any happy feelings as I chewed. The waiter was pretty inattentive (as in dropped the food off and never came back). Needless to say, I wasn't impressed by Blvd and Pharmacy still has the crown for the best burger in town.

I've eaten here several times and while the service can be hit or miss, the food is always on the mark. With a lovely relaxed semi-romantic atmosphere and a modest price point, BLVD is an unassuming little spot that took me by surprise. My first visit was for their wonderful happy hour. M-F, 2-7 You can pick any two of select drinks and apps for $8. That's perfect for catching up with a friend after work without breaking the bank! I've returned several times since with various friends for dinners and dinner service seems a bit spottier. While I've never waited for a table, and service has always been friendly, there does seem to be rather extended waits for food even when they're not busy. I personally have always thoroughly enjoyed my food here, and for the most part everyone I've eaten here with has given it the "really good" thumbs up with the rare exception. Usually you will have to pay extra for your food for this type of atmosphere but not so here. Overall, great atmosphere and good food at decent prices with occasionally slow service.

Man, has this place gone downhill. Over the past year or so I've been here several times - a couple of dinners, lunch and happy hours. My first meal there was absolutely fantastic, but this past Saturday's visit will definitely be my last. I went with a couple of friends around 3:00 to take advantage of their awesome happy hour, which their website lists as mon-sat from 2-7. After waiting several minutes for our waiter to arrive, he informed us that they no longer offer HH on Saturdays and they hadn't updated their website since the decision had only been made 2 days prior. No offer was made to still honor this - even as we sat there contemplating going elsewhere. We decided to go ahead and order a round of drinks, which took at least 10 minutes to arrive. Then we ordered a couple orders of fries (since nothing on their lunch menu sounded appealing). Their fries are awesome, but we had to hunt down our own plates and he promised had to wait for our server to return to ask for their aoili, which should've come out with the fries to begin with. Watching some other tables, it seems like something was awry with the whole place. Our server was not friendly or happy and the other employees seemed equally irritable. Not sure what's going on, but it was enough for me to bid farewell. With so many other awesome places in town, it's not worth the risk.

3.5 Blvd Nashville is one of the reasons I am so happy to be back in Nashvegas. Well, maybe it's not the restaurant itself per se (although my experience was, overall, positive) but it's the neighborhood. It's the street. It's seeing yet another example of Nashville reinventing itself, making itself accessible to transplants and natives alike and thriving. It's exciting. And, yes, I picked all this up while roaming Belmont/Hillsboro on a warm summer Tuesday. I was in the general area and needed lunch. I used my Yelp app to find me something good. A couple of clicks later, I found myself in the thick of the Belmont/Hillsboro monster (I never know where this huge area ends and begins; it seems to be everywhere), looking at what appeared to be a refurbished home. It gave me good vibes from the start so we went in. While initially approached by a genial young man and seated in the front dining room with a lovely view of the street (seriously; no snark), we were served by a young lady who was distant at best. She barely smiled, seemed distracted and was not at all present. I hoped she was ok but the service experience detracted from my lunch. Staying on my hot chicken kick, I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and a side of mac & cheese. The sandwich was pretty messy and difficult to eat but the combo of ranch, habanero, onion, lettuce, mustard, sriracha, and those little cornichon pickles was extremely tasty. I eventually gave up on eating it as a sandwich and opted to use my knife and fork. The mac & cheese was made with gruyere and was a nice side. I would have preferred some heat and/or crunch to the dish but, again, as a side it was perfectly acceptable. I couldn't go with my lunch go-to beverage of an Arnold Palmer... because they were out of lemonade. Um, what? Where are we? Oh, Nashville. Right. And... no lemonade? In the summer? Okay, then. I let it go, drank water but it was a bit of a head scratcher for me. Blvd has enough going for it that I'd return hoping for better service and fresh lemonade.

It can be tough to be a vegetarian that loves tasting menus. I was so happy when I emailed blvd & they told me they could prepare a 9 course vegetarian Chef's tasting menu. I don't expect great restaurants to bend to my dietary needs, so it's really exciting when a chef is open to it! Communication with the restaurant was professional & timely. The meal was so delicious! I appreciated the use of seasonal ingredients & I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything by not eating meat. Sometimes you get courses where you can tell you are getting a plate that is just missing it's slab of meat/caviar/fish. That's not how it felt at blvd. Everything was truly a dish on it's own. So many highlights of the meal! One great thing about the tasting menu was that the experience did not feel pretentious. The atmosphere was casual & friendly. I think it would be a wonderful tasting menu for people who love food but feel a little intimidated by extreme fanciness. No one puts your napkin in your lap (thank god) & no one comes over with a small comb to brush the crumbs off your table. Thanks to Chef Vito & everyone at blvd for making our evening so memorable!

BLVD has a cool looking building and a friendly atmosphere that I really like. Drinks are reasonable. Their burger is a star, with a delicious pretzel bun and an egg on top. Been here a few times so I've tried most of the menu (shepherds pie, quinoa falafel, brussel sprouts, hot chicken) and haven't seen anyone in my party be disappointed. Another surprise standout were the chicken fingers, which is not something I would normally have, but here they are incredible. So crispy and perfect. Only downside is some of the wait staff can be too cool for school, and they seem somewhat understaffed at times. The food comes out quick though.

I came here last week for happy hour with a couple of friends. We sat outside on the patio and it was a beautiful day out. I'd give a four stars for the atmosphere alone, however, the food and service was just okay. Happy hour includes pick two for $8 in which you can pick between drinks or food. You can not get any one of their specialty drinks though, only certain wines, bubbles, drafts, and your choice of vodka or whiskey with one mixer. I think it's a great deal for the price; however, whenever we were there, there was only one or two servers, it took way too long for the server to take our order, get the drinks and food out to us. I ordered the cheese plate... haha it was TINY... Don't get this! The hot chicken was pretty delicious. My friend ordered the mac and cheese and it looked descent. Overall, an okay experience, nothing to rave about.
(3)Anna W.
I've been here for lunch or dinner a few times and loved it. The food seems a sort of French take on American food - flavorful and interesting. I went to happy hour for the first time the other night and was a little disappointed, but it was overall great. The happy hour menu is small, but the prices are great and compared to most other happy hours the food is way better. Our table ordered several things including a cheese plate and the truffle oil fries. Again, all good, but having had some of their entrees before I knew it wasn't their best. So all that to say - if you go for happy hour and aren't impressed give it another chance. But their happy hour is still great: it goes til 7pm and is cheaper than most others I've been to in town.
(4)Brittany F.
Blvd has been on my list of places that I wanted to try for awhile and I'm so glad that I finally went! We timed it just right and hit it during happy hour. They have great deals!! You can choose 2 items, drinks or small plates. Luckily I was with 2 other people so we got 6 different things off the menu. First off, we tried the "it's like taking a flower to a tequila fight" which was amazing and pretty! We then got the habanero fries, jalapeño nachos, mac and cheese, hot chicken and tempura hot dog bites. All of it was great! The habanero fries and hot chicken are HOT!!! I'm a wimp when it comes to spice so it wasn't something I ate a lot of but they both had great flavors. The tempura hot dogs were fun to eat and the Mac and cheese had great herbs mixed in. To top it all off, we sat out on their beautiful patio. What a great evening!
(5)Sean W.
Horrendous service. Came here on a Sunday afternoon by myself, and I was seated by a bored and disinterested waitress. There was a large party next to me and a waitress kept checking on them even though they're still waiting for people, while I was ignored for 30 minutes despite trying to get waitstaff's attention. Finally I just got up and left.
(1)Chris V.
I had an absolutely lovely time here, and Angel was a delight (we got in a heated, cordial debate about Tenderloin tendencies). I loved the spring vegetable plate in particular -- c'est magnifique!
(5)John A.
We were the first table seated outside. Another party was seated next to us and after us and were waited on immediately. After waiting 20 minutes and requesting a server, no one came to apologize or take our order. Will not go back. I was in the industry for over ten years, so to say that the service there is deplorable is an understatement.
(1)Lizzy Z.
The only reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is the fact that their happy hour is FANTASTIC. I have had great service and delicious food during happy hour, but their brunch was horrible. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for our server to even LOOK at us. We had to get the hostess to tell her we had still not been spoken to. I honestly felt like our server would have been happier living on the streets than working. The burger was asked to be medium, and it was extremely over-cooked. After we had finished our meal (which we did not get the mid-meal "how is everything?") i set a timer, and it took her 22 minutes to come back to our table for us to get the check. Normally, I would suggest this place for happy hour, but I can't say I will ever go back after the TERRIBLE service we received.
(2)Chris H.
Food is excellent, service needs some work. The server was great, but the manager must pay attention to the volume of orders going to the kitchen to make sure served timely. We did have a large party with kids, but instead of waiting for all food, serve kids first. Bloody mary is excellent. Atmosphere is casual during the day.
(3)Coolinary C.
Horrible experience. Amongst other things, we ordered the vegetable plate, that was described as spring vegetables with whipped feta, puréed cauliflower and artichoke. So we were surprised when the dish had no artichoke and the whipped feta was a white sauce. It was marginal for a side but definitely not what we were expecting. When we asked the waitress, she informed us that there was a new chef and he couldn't make the artichoke chips ( they were too complicated) so they substituted them with some additional green beans (not the same). She alluded that something would be done. Our bill came, nothing was done. We asked to see the manager. The manager was terrible. Argued with us that the artichoke chips were a garnish and so we shouldn't even care about them. I left shaking, I rarely complain but that was such terrible service, food and attitude. I will never be back. I wish I could give no stars.
(1)Sloane E.
Found a bug in my cooked burger...need I say more. Cleanliness is clearly not their forte. In addition, the customer service/staff was very slow and the employees did not look or act like they enjoyed their job. Nashville has so many restaurants and this one is just not one to visit while in town.
(1)Lesley B.
Sunday night I went to blvd for the eighth or ninth time and, once again, it did not disappoint. The service was great, the salmon and grits were delightful as always, and the Cabernet was on point. Tip: go on Sundays for half priced bottles of wine or during the week for their 2 for 8$ special. From an impressive list you can choose a drink an an appetizer, two drinks, or two appetizers for 8$...talk about a steal!
(5)Erin W.
We really like this restaurant. All of the food we have tried has been great. The baked brie and the burgers are excellent. They have a happy hour that we definitely want to take advantage of more often. Finally, they have a great drink selection!
(4)Renee B.
The food and drinks were okay. The bartender seemed fairly indifferent and was on her phone texting when I had questions about the menu. I asked for recommendations considering that they ran out of several options I wanted and I felt that the server could care less about providing options. I was fairly disappointed by the service. The kale salad and fries were really good. My sandwich was okay (I had the Swiss and ham). I'm giving it three stars because the sides were delicious; sandwich could use a touch of more flavor; and service could use some improvement.
(3)Sarah C.
I recently attended a lunch and was super pleased with the blvd. Located adjacent to Belmont, it is a great spot. I sat on the patio, in a very Manhattan sort of way, so I cannot comment much on the decor. I had the heirloom tomato and watermelon salad. For $10 it was totally worth it. And I could have ordered anything on the menu, it all was so enticing! I did notice they have a reasonable happy hour from 2-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. I'll report back to that end...
(4)Kelly M.
My family still can't stop talking about the Brussels sprouts. Tried the quinoa, burger, fries, tabouli, and Caesar salad...everything was delicious! I probably would order something other than tabouli unless you lovvvve kale.
(5)Dirk M.
We went to blvd for dinner and drinks this evening. The space is attractive enough and in a great location for us. The food was good (not great) but some of the portions were rather small. The lowlight that took away from the rest of the meal was the service. It was incredibly inattentive and it seemed that the staff were much more interested in socializing with each other than focusing on their guests. There was plenty of staff considering the number of guests, but the staff seemed simply uninterested in their guests.
(2)Will P.
They have a rather small lunch menu, maybe 6 sandwiches and a few salads, which I actually really like, because usually it means that the quality of the dishes is high. I got the hot chicken sandwich which was just the perfect amount of spicy. My one gripe is that they seemed to be terribly understaffed. The had 2/3 of the tables open, but we had to wait 20 mins because they only had 2-3 servers. Because of this the service was quite slow and the servers seemed not very genuine.
(3)erin s.
We had an excellent experience (again) with Patrick as our server. Food was on point- try the quinoa flafal wrap with smashed parsnips for a delicious, nutritious meal- and Anne's cakes- can. Not. Go. Wrong!
(5)Stephen P.
Granted, I need to go back here, but this is to point out that blvd has one of my favorite burgers in Nashville. Way too good.
(5)Wynter F.
Oh, Blvd I do love you but I hate you at the same time. They have a happy hour menu where you can order two things off the menu for $8. You can either get two drinks, or two food items or one food item and one drink. It's a great deal. Of course I wanted a drink that wasn't on the happy hour menu so I ended up ordering the Taking a flower to a tequila fight drink which was like a fancy lavender margarita. It was strong but so good. The rim was salted and had lavender around it. Very good drink and very pretty! For the happy hour I ordered the spicy habanero fries (this is where the hate comes in) and the hot chicken bites. The spicy habanero fries had such a good flavor but oh my goodness were they hot! I probably drank three glasses of water just trying to cool the fire in my mouth. They were so good though. I couldn't stop eating them. The hot chicken bites were good too but spicy as well. Everything I got was so hot but so good. Our server was great. She made sure that every time we were running low on water to come and refill it. She also warned me that the fries were going to be hot. She was very friendly. I will definitely be back for you Blvd! Maybe I'll try something not so spicy next time.
(4)Andrew R.
Relatively good, relatively healthy place with wonderful service and bright ambiance. Not "I'm back in Nashville and need to go here" good, but "I'm in Nashville and want a bright, uncrowded, solid brunch" good.

Went with the fam for Easter Sunday brunch. Not impressed. The good: The drinks (when we finally got them) and the quinoa plate. The bad: The food and drinks took way way way too long to come out. My nephew ordered a simple glass of oj and that took 25 minutes (the place was empty except for a couple other tables). When the food finally came out he brought out half the plates then disappeared. Then we watched the only other two tables in the place (who came in after us) get their food while half our table still waited. Then he brought out a couple more plates and apologized mine took so long (he said the quinoa dish takes longer) but he hadn't even realized one of the burger orders was still missing. He thought he was done. Long story short, the service was terrible. The taste: Like I said, the quinoa plate was great. The crab cakes and burger were nothing to write home about. The croque madame was very good. The dish worth mentioning was the waffles. The thought that came to mind when I tried them was "this is what 3 week old pound cake mixed with glue would taste like." They were awful. When we told the waiter he didn't offer to bring my nephew something else and said it was either because we got the bottom of the batch or because the kitchen was transitioning to dinner mode. To that I say, if you have brunch service until 5 but know that the kitchen starts to suck if you order things past 3:30P (which is when we got there) then perhaps you should stop brunch earlier. (Or perhaps its time to close the doors indefinitely). The only good thing the waiter did was comp the alcohol drinks due to how long everything took but we still paid for the plaster waffles. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
(1)Heather G.
AMAZING burger. One of the best of my life. They also have a delicious brunch and super cute presentation. I've been here a handful of times & have never been disappointed. Go and get that burger!
(4)Carolyn S.
Great Blvd Burger! The crab cake Po' Boy is good too. Fries are done to perfection and the aoli just makes it that much better! I'd pass on the cheese fondue, it's just melted cheese with EVOO in a small caste iron skillet, it did not awake my taste buds. The ambiance is trendy and simply sophisticated. Sunday they have brunch ALL DAY, personally I could go for a dinner menu.

Was in the Belmont area & thought if try this place. Chicken salad is really good. Although they forgot to toast the croissant. Kale salad is really good. Top off meal with a cup of hot tea. I'd come back. I don't like white napkins. I Had black on. Ugh

1. I love the interior of this place! It's super cute. Lots of natural sunlight, it's so lovely. 2. The blvd burger is not bad! I was impressed. 3. The croque madame is heavenly. 4. THE FRIES. THE FRENCH FRIES OMG I LOVE. WINNER WINNER.
(4)Katherine Y.
My girlfriend and I found this on yelp because it was really close to us. We loved the atmosphere and the place was really cute. I think it would be cool in the summer because I believe they would open up the doors. But as for the food, we both got burgers and they were delicious! And the service was great...I got a drink I didn't really love all that much and our wonderful waiter was able to take it off of the bill :) it was very nice of them to do that!

Love Blvd! The staff makes this place. We went for New Year's Eve and it ft like we were spending the night with old friends. Arnold is a rock star and we will be going back often.

Spicy. Habanero. Fries. How much do I LOVE the "Le French Fries" at Blvd? So. Very. Much. (almost as much as I adore the proprietor of this joint Arnold Myint) Sure, I consider Arnold Myint a friend of mine but I have made it a point to wait for quite some time to review because I wanted to give a fair perspective of the transition from Cha Chah to the revamped bar - bistro - market now known as Blvd. I happen to play favorite with the the Spicy Habanero Fries ($6) but I happen to fancy the Madras Spiced Curry ($5) and the Pine Nut Pesto ($7) as well. They are just the perfect thing to share or enjoy all to yourself. I prefer the latter. Get your mitts off my frites FRIEND. As if that wasn't enough carb overload (it happens), the bread basket here is the stuff dreams are made of. Don't believe me? Come on in, folks! Another standout for this veggie lovin' broad is the Quinoa Falafel Wrap ($8). Prep your belly because you wil feel stuffed from this hearty concoction of hummus and veggies in a multi-grain tortilla. And, I can assure you that I can put some grub away - this wrap will fulfill your appetite. I also appreciate the refocus on utilizing and showcasing local and artisanal vendors and products. You can now even pick up Juice Nashville blends in the market! Whether you need to pick up a deli case sandwich from the market to spending a leisurely brunch on the patio (order the Quinoa Cassoulet $13) to planning a special occasion dinner, you can count on Blvd to be a fantastic location to have a delicious meal. TIp: And although the patio isn't large in size - it is the perfect patio for a sunshiny brunch in Nashville. Hello 1/2 price bottles of wine! Tip2: Brunch offerings are available all day er'day.

The food is good. Not much parking but they have valet parking and the valet was very polite and professional. The food was very well priced especially for the quality of food you get.

I'm an All-American guy who believes a beer and sandwich on my lunch break should be less than $8 with a couple buck tip, so anytime a sandwich and a Bud Heavy cost $15 + tip it better be pretty damn delicious. Simply put, it wasn't. Continuing on my trail of the best 25 sandwiches in Nashville per "TheCityPaper", I ordered the Haute Dog Hoagie -- which in itself was an OK, borderline good (3/5 stars) sandwich; albeit small. Certainly not worth the $9 I paid for it and the ludicrous price of domestic beers. It came with a side of fries and such (which were good, yes) but I still didn't feel the meal justified the price. At the end of the day it's just a hot dog (yes, a hot dog made with ground-up short ribs, but still a hot dog). Also, and most importantly, the atmosphere and staff were not my taste at all. This restaurant is definitely hipster central, and not in a good way. Hoity toity narcissistic staff members who'd rather be on their phones than serving their customers, combined with an over-pretentious stuffiness. [I think a lot of this is stemming from how ridiculously expensive lunch was.] It's too bad -- if this was a food truck with $5 sandwiches I'd go every day.

I came to blvd last night for Happy Hour, so I can't say much when it comes to reviewing the entrees and desserts. blvd's Happy Hour deal is a little odd to me. It's a great price - you can get either get 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, or 1 drink and 1 appetizer - for $8. While, that is a great deal, I will say that their Happy Hour drink list is VERY limited. With a simple boasting of house red and white, house bubbles, a small sampling of the local beers, and house whiskey or vodka - it left much to be desired. That said, I went for the house whiskey, Evan Williams...and with something that cheap you gotta put it on the rocks. I paired that with the spicy fries. The good thing I can say is the spicy fries were a much larger portion than what I was expecting for the appetizer size, and the spiciness kinda grew with each bit...they were definitely good. My friend got the house red and jalapeno nachos. Guys, skip the jalapeno nachos. They came in tiny tiny skillet, had maybe 12 "homemade" chips, a couple of roma sized tomatoes thrown in there (cut in half) and maybe 6 or 7 fresh jalapenos. Very lack luster, and dare I say not even worth $4? But, the service was great. Simone was very pleasant, answered our questions, and was attentive but not too in-your-face. We enjoyed our evening people watching from the patio, and I will definitely go back to blvd again - just maybe for a meal next time.

Father's Day brunch and first timers to this hot spot make for a memorable Sunday in Nashville. The ambience was only manifested by the incredible food and service. YOU MUST TRY THE CROQUE MADAME. Simply put, it's Sandwich Crack, and the salt and pepper fries were the icing on the cake. If brunch is any indication of what's in store at Blvd., then I'll be returning again and again and enthusiastically recommend this place to all.
(5)Caroline H.
I have to admit, probably half (OK, three-quarters) of the reason I came here was for the bread basket of pretzel bread and savory waffles. THEY STOPPED DOING THAT :( :( :( Oh welllllll I guess I can get over it. My first visit to BLVD was tonight and I am late to the game because our super friendly waitress told us they stopped serving that bread basket in the spring time. Sads. But to the good! My dinnermate got the mussels frites appetizer and kale side, and definitely enjoyed it, but had mixed feelings about the title of the kale side being a "tabouli" salad because it didn't seem to taste like one? Minor details. My Blvd burger was pretty great with a fried egg on top, S&P fries on the side and a Turtle Anarchy Stoutly Porter to wash it down. Go big or go home, amirite? My only complaints with the burg were that it was really messy and as much as I love the 'rug (thats my nickname for arugula...maybe I should type the 'roog) it got a little bitter for me. Get dem vejables offa my burger?! Sike usually I'm all for arugula, not sure why I wasn't into it. It was decently un-busy inside at 7pm on a Thursday and everyone we encountered was really nice. Our waitress was great and helpful with menu decisions. She also hinted that they *may* be thinking of starting up the famous bread basket again... If so, I'd come back! Well, I'd probably come back anyways.
(4)Andy H.
They always suck me in with their dastardly $5 lunch specials and then slap me upside the head with the best bar menu in Belmont, and the most amazing salt and pepper fries. Pro Tip: If you go after 2pm, you can get great parking, the lunch special, and happy hour deals. Service is always prompt and pleasant.
(5)Emily Myles H.
Food was good but not exceptional. Charcuterie board was strange, not your typical appi. Their take on mules was very good though. Just ok.

After reading the reviews (more negative than positive) in here, I decided to give it a try anyways. Drink: - I didn't order any alcoholic drink since it was lunch time. The waiter settled 2 water bottles (wine bottle-looking) at the table for us to refill anytime. It stayed lukewarm. Not a good idea for a nice restaurant like this. Food: - Lunch: no bread basket - Blvd Burger: I read reviews where people were raving about the burger so I had to try it out....It was cooked to perfection, however, flavorless and lack seasoning. I had to add salt & pepper for it to taste better. Ketchup didn't help. The pretzel buns were okay. Very disappointed. - S&P fries: This comes with the burger. And no, you can't upgrade it to other flavors even if you offer to pay a little bit more... - Curry fries: Again, I ordered it because people were raving about this...It was just average for me. I felt like they just sprinkled the curry on top of the fries for the look. My friend ordered the same thing and he had to add salt, pepper, siracha sauce, siracha-mayo sauce, and ketchup on it for flavor...oh and our fingers stayed yellow (even after washing with soap). Service: - We saw our waiter 3 times (greeting, brought out food, and gave us the check) since he doesn't have to refill the water. I don't think I like the concept of this restaurant much. Why have waiters/waitresses if you will just gonna put a bottle of water on the table for us to refill by ourselves?? It kinda takes away from the point of having service. Not to mention the water was lukewarm and the bottle hogged all the space of the already small table. I really wanted to like this place but it definitely needs improvement. 2013/#29

I seriously daydream about their quinoa falafel wrap. Yep. It is that good. Pair it with their tabouli and you've got the most mouthwatering combination you'll find anywhere. Environment and servers are amazing AND they have French macaroons.
(5)Junell H.
Food was very good- we tried mac & cheese, truffle fries, fried Brie, Brussels sprouts, cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, chicken salad, grits & shrimp, etc. all was very tasty! The service was a bit slow but we really didn't have anywhere to go! Liked sorting on the porch feeling like we were outside even while raining!

1/2 off bottles of wine on Sunday. Friendly & cool staff. Elegant, rustic, & hip decor. A lot of the plates are great for sharing, especially the habanero fries. Yum! They have a nice small patio out front. Not a bad place for a quick date & not bad to sit back and unwind.

I am very very sad that I have to write this negative review because everything about this experience was excellent except how myself and fellow dining companions were treated at the end of the evening. This sucks. I tried to come to Blvd on Tuesday but it was slammed with a 45 minute wait. I guess that means they are doing better than their former restaurant Cha Chah. Good for them because I loved Cha Chah and love all of Arnold's restaurants. I came back a couple days later on a beautiful day for some post work cocktails and bites with friends, and were able to snag a table at their open aired section up front. The bread basket was out of this world unbelievable. The soft salty pretzel and savory waffle were so good and the grainy mustard and vanilla bean butter were insanely amazing. They offer a white and red house wine for $6.50 and said they are working on a happy hour but don't have on yet. All around amazing so far. We ordered a couple small bites; the mushrooms, fondue, and famous lamb meatballs on a skewer. The lamb was the best by far, but all of it was really amazing. Our server was attentive and let us linger at our table for hours while we took our time with the drinks and food. Here comes the bad. I purchased a Nashville Original discount gift certificate at the end of last year for Cha Chah. I couldn't imagine not being able to use it seeing as they closed Cha Chah in December of 2012 and there was hardly any time to redeem it before they changed restaurants. I was wrong. Our apologetic server said they do not accept Cha Chah certificates and said I was one of a couple customers who had the same issue. We decided to ask for a manager after he brought our cards back. The server said that the manager was working behind the bar but would send him over as soon as he could. During our 15 minute wait our poor server came back 3 times to ask if he had stopped by. Nope. He hadn't. The last time he asked he told us he was very sorry but the manager was slammed making drinks at the bar but we could go up to him and he would "try to talk to us." Wow. It was not worth it so we got up to leave. Just as we were walking to the door, the manager James stopped us. He said he was sorry but that his boss (Arnold) didn't want to redeem the gift certificates and said that Arnold believes "we should have come when it was Cha Chah." He acted as if he was upset about this as well. Then gave us a song and dance about how his hands were tied and he was not allowed to accept them and when we argued with him he said " I'd like to be able to keep my job." Wow. My friend pointed out that surely as a manager of a restaurant he could write it off in some way or give us our discount, he huffily asked for the certificate, made a face and said, "Oh, it's one of THESE. Yeah, we can't." Upon further prodding he finally decided to sign off on it for next time and made the rude comment: "well, I have to sign it according to her" and motioned at my friend. Wow. He asked if I wanted to redeem it now, and I should have said yes but didn't want to cause more work for our poor server. This was all over $25.00 by the way. I'm not sure what is going on, but I can't say I'm going to be back to use the damn thing. I frequent Arnold's restaurants on a regular basis, and am not sure if I should anymore. Very disappointed.

I was disappointed of my experience here. Burger was sub par and our waitress paid little attention to us. They definitely need to revamp something internally. There are plenty of better restaurants in the area.

Went for Sun brunch w/friends. Ambiance is crisp and clean but incredibly loud - we had to shout across the table to be heard. Food was ok. Hubby ordered the sausage beans and toast which he found sweet and unremarkable but the sunny side eggs were cooked properly. I played it safe and ordered the waffles which I regretted. The waffles were terribly heavy, dry and barely warm. I could only eat half bc they were so dense and there wasn't enough syrup or butter to make the waffles chewable. Our friends ordered the shrimp and grits (only ate half), the burger (huge portion) and the egg "omelet" which was more of an over cooked frittata. Our server was prompt in taking our order but not very warm or friendly. When I asked if the bartender would be able to make any non-alcoholic drinks she said "yes" but only provided me with a glass of fresh squeezed OJ which was disappointing and not worth $3. Overall Blvd is nice but far from remarkable.

Waited almost 20 minutes for our waiter to get our drink order and being us out the bread basket. They serve the water at room temperature which is sort of odd. The bread basket was good. It had a pretzel and a waffle type bread and great grainy mustard. Got the burger and it was pretty good, but nothing to die for. French fries are okay. Then we waited half an hour for our waiter to bring us our check. Service was incredibly slow. Everyone working there seemed very inexperienced and like they didn't know what was going on. I'd give it a second shot but I wasn't thrilled by my experience.

Went here last night for Supper Club and it was TO DIE FOR. Straight out of the gate, the new decor is totally adorable and the service was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter brought our bread basket and to my surprise it was a huge pretzel and a waffle accompanied with butter and an apricot mustard. It was so good and very unique. I ordered the blvd burger with fries. Prepare yourself for this bold statement.... I'll give you a second. Ready? Ok. Best burger I've ever eaten. No joke. That good. The burger is high quality beef cooked to perfection on a pretzel bun with cubed house bacon, caramelized onion, swiss, aioli and a tomato confit. When you place the bun on top and slice through the middle the warm yolk seeps into all the flavors blending them together in this tangy, smokey, buttery masterpiece. Ok, I'm getting way too into describing this. Moving on. lol. The fries were amazing... as they should be, considering they have a menu dedicated to them. I got the standard S&P because I wanted to try all the sauces they had. I tried some sort of spicy aoili and a honey smoked vinegar. Mix the two together... trust me on this. After we finished dinner, I walked to the front and made a reservation for next weekend. I can't wait to go back!

Server was great, but food off its game. Initially crestfallen to find the awesome bread basket had been eliminated, but was still up to try something. Hot chicken bites forgettable, truffle fries were good though. The burger was messy and wet, though. The baked beans I can't figure out -- I've had them all around Nashville and this is the first time I've seen them served dry, al dente, with no sauce. I looooove PM but based on this I'm wondering if Arnold Myint is over Blvd and it's up for a ChahChah-like rebirth.

Sunday Funday!!! You know what is better than brunch? Brunch available until 11pm. Add half price bottles of wine (including bubbly!) and I am in love. Last Sunday was warm and breezy. Perfect patio weather! It wasn't crowded; we were the only people on the patio. The bottles were affordable even before the 50% discount. The food was delicious and also didn't break the bank. Our server was friendly and had great wine and food recommendations. God bless him for convincing us to try the fondue. I loved the bread basket of churros and scones that started the meal. My friend and I shared the absurdly tasty fontina fondue (holy cow, incredible!), jackalope chicken tenders w/ spicy ketchup and a dijon sauce, scrambled eggs and house cured bacon (melt in your mouth good). I'm looking forward to the next warm Sunday. I will be back!
(5)Corie K.
Eh... maybe Sunday was not the best day to go... I get anxiety about menus at new places, so I generally check it out online beforehand so I know what I want when I get there. Sunday they only serve brunch, which was a big disappointment since I really wanted the french onion soup -- and I heard the breadbowl was amazing, but this one had a scone and cinnamon churro-eque breadstick... nothing that sounds as amazing as the pretzel bread of the non-Sunday selection. I totally get brunch selection all day, but wish they just offered it in addtion to their normal menu. The waiter selected the most expensive champagne after my friend asked for a recommendation--I got the impression he chose by price, not by knowledge, as he didn't explain why or give choices, just said, "I will bring you this one," and pointed at one. We ordered habenaro fries and they were a bit soggy-- the spicy oil changed the whole idea of delicate pom frites. My friend ordered a dish with eggs, and after the server explained the eggs are prepared over easy, my friend very firmly said, please make them over hard, and specified that she did not like them runny at all. The eggs came runny and when sent back came back looking dry and charred. I got a salad and it was okay, neither amazing, nor bad-- it satisfied my hunger. The waiter asked if we wanted another round of drinks and my friend said yes, but never received her drink, when getting close to finishing our meal, she told the server to cancel the drink and he looked confused, quickly said "oh, okay" and scurried away. He didn't acknowledge that she had even ordered it at all. Prices are reasonable (aside from the champagne) and I will return to get what I came for in the first place on a non-Sunday. I hope to have a better food experience next time as the smells that are in the air at Blvd are amazing... I hope to find the right menu item to match.

Wow. I have been to blvd. multiple time but now after twice I had a drunk waitress and she forgot our order, checked on us twice during the duration of 60minutes and we still haven't had our food. The food comes 80 minutes after we sit down. We were one of two tables so it is obvious they weren't slammed. We immediately ask for our checks and she leaves us for another 25 minutes she returns looking discouraged that she received no tip. A little wtf from the food industry.
(1)Pavol S.
Interesting menu and great drink selection.
(4)Maria C.
Blvd Nashville has one of the best happy hours in town. The prices can't be beat and the patio is a good place to sit and relax with friends.
(4)Michael C.
The food is not bad at all but the service has forced me to write my first review of a restaurant ever! I walked in to pickup my order, waiting by it, smelling it even as it sits in front of me for over 5 minutes I begin to look around for any help. The manager was the only one who didn't look busy as he was having a friendly conversation with some customers at the bar. I politely asked if I could get my to-go order and to my surprise got shut down by the one person who is supposed to know better. He told me I would have to wait, which is fine since I kind of felt like I was interrupting his conversation, but the tone that he used made me lose my appetite. My tone was calm yet his tone held anger and I was not the only witness to this, just about everyone at the bar looked as puzzled as me after he opened his mouth. Instead of making a scene, I just paid for my order and left which I do regret. Arnold Myint may want to take a closer look at who he hires for the sake of his restaurant. All I have are two words for each star given. NEVER AGAIN!
(2)Juliet L.
Good food, but overpriced. The happy hour specials are a good deal, though, so I'd recommend going for that. Also the wait staff is nice and I've never waited long for a table.
(4)Renee L.
Great place! In town for weekend and been here twice. Bartender Bryan is a brilliant mixologist. Burger was legit!!! Watermelon tomato salad was refreshing and filling. Great depth in flavor. Get a Moscow Mule or better yet tell Brian the flavor you are craving. He will hook you up with a great libation.

I became a fan tonight as I Dined Out for Life with my daughter. I concur with Stephen P's report on the waffle and pretzel. I have to go back for the salmon and grits because I was dazzled by the brussels sprouts. It happens sometimes. Super fresh and enhanced with manchego, vinegar, pickled red onion. This place made me do something I didn't think possible - I took home fries. There were just too many, which is a lovely problem to have. They are hand cut and beautifully fried. I will enjoy those truffle and chive delights tomorrow. The service was fine. I initially doubted our waiter's commitment to us, but he proved himself dedicated and present at the right moments. The waffle with berries, bacon and walnuts was a hit with the 5 year old, who probably would have just given it 4 stars because they don't have syrup.
(5)G W.
We waited 25 minutes between the appetizer and the entree. My lamb was overcooked and the quinoa was ice cold but the eggplant was okay. My friends duck was undercooked and cold. The server told us the chef was dealing with an issue in the basement. She took the lamb off the bill but not the duck. The manager came over and told us that there was nothing wrong with our dinner basically. He was not interested in what we had to say so we paid the bill and left and passed the Roto-rooter guy on the way out. I get that restaurants have bad nights but the manager's attitude ensured that I won't be back. This was my second meal at Blvd and the first one this past summer was good. However, there are too many other good choices out there to take a chance on Blvd again.
(2)Stephanie P.
I rarely leave negative reviews but I do think the food is very over priced for most of the portion sizes. I ordered a vegetable tart for $11 and it was literally the size of a side order of vegetables. Also we all were charged $3 each for bringing in a cake even though one of us had called the day before to see if it would be a problem. Just not a fan.
(1)Rachel W.
My friends and I went to brunch on Sunday and it was fantastic! I got the shrimp & grits, Bloody Mary, and we shared a carafe of mimosas. I wasn't crazy about the Bloody Mary, but everyone likes them differently (theirs was a little spicy for my taste). The shrimp & grits and mimosas were wonderful! I'd highly recommend the truffle fries also! I will be going back soon!
(5)Charlie Bolognese Z.
We started with the happy hour specials. The wine wasn't good, but can't complain for the price! The fries were perfectly fried. The black pepper, which was supposed to make them something besides normal fries, was nowhere to be seen (or tasted). The cheese plate was excellent, though it's a bit awkward to bring three pieces of bread for two people. Entrees were very good. The most disappointing part of the meal--without this I'd give four stars--was the popcorn and ice cream dessert. The popcorn was totally stale. Gross. I don't know how long it had been sitting around, but to be a good restaurant you need to be on top of that kind of thing.
(3)Dennis M.
I had the maple waffle. Took one bite and I'm pretty sure I saw the face of God.
(5)Kate V.
My Croque Madame sandwich was tasty...once it FINALLY arrived. My experience at Blvd was a comedy of errors. After being informed of an hour wait, we tried to start the evening at the bar. The bartender was dismissive, and by the time we were finally acknowledge to be able to order, our table was ready. The server was inattentive and took forever to even just get water on the table, let alone cocktails. It was a Friday night, so the restaurant was busy, and the food took a little longer, as was expected. However, once we got our food, we were not checked in on. Our appetizer arrived after our meal. When it was finally time to get the check, we had to flag down the waiter since he was bypassing the table. I think it has great potential. Just needs the service to be improved.
(2)Shannon P.
Love, love the feel/vibe of this place. Rustic charm with ridiculously great food and service...doesn't get much better than that! We met up with friends for a light bite and drinks - sat in a bench style table which was cozy and comfortable. Great beer selection and great apps. We did not order entrees as we had dinner plans elsewhere but based on the apps we shared (hot fries, mushrooms, brussel sprouts) the entrees have to be amazing. The service was spot on - not too pushy and not at all annoyed that we were occupying a table for essentially apps/drinks. Bar was super cute with low lit lighting. Can't wait to go back!
(4)HKM M.
We called Blvd for Sunday brunch wait time at 11:30am yesterday. They said they could seat our party of six currently but wouldn't have much of a wait if the corner booth was taken by the time we arrived. We coordinated with friends visiting from out of town and agreed we'd meet at the restaurant at noon. We arrived two minutes before noon (and ahead of the friends) to find a sign out front that read "Due to technical difficulties, Blvd will not be serving brunch the rest of the day." We went inside to talk to the hostess who informed us: "There's a gas leak in the kitchen. It's not a big deal and not something you should probably tell anyone about ever, but... yeah, food is coming out really slow, because we can't run all the ovens at the same time. But we're still open for drinks if you want to stay and have a cocktail." We quickly left, feeling worried for our safety and conflicted about whether or not to shout this out to the entire restaurant who was eating brunch and blissfully unaware of the dangerous gas leak in the kitchen. At any rate, we didn't feel this should go unmentioned when a restaurant has a safety issue like this and isn't letting its patrons know. We won't be back.

My wife and I sat outside for lunch, which was nice. They brought us two different bottles of warm water before we had to specifically ask for cold water. The menu is small, but there is good variety. My wife had the Blvd Burger, which was delicious. I got the Crab Cake Po' Boy, which was very lacking in flavor, even after adding a liberal dose of their "spicy" mayo, (which might as well have been regular mayo with red food coloring). We didn't order drinks, which seems to be Blvd's main draw.
(3)Katie H.
We've eaten here 3 or 4 times in the last few months and have always been satisfied. I love the inside of the restaurant, although for lunch the patio is my favorite. The lunch menu is awesome. The warm brussel sprout salad is SO good and a really good deal at $8. I've also had the blvd burger ($11) with the mashed parsnips (YUM!) and it was also delish. If any restaurant can get my husband to eat kale and quinoa, it's a winner. Their quinoa wrap and kale tabouli is really fantastic. Although I do miss the pretzel/waffle bread basket that was there over the summer, we will still be eating here frequently.
(4)Emma T.
Went to Blvd for Sunday brunch and loved it! I ordered the Croque Madame ($9) and it was a great choice. Ham and swiss cheese layered on rosemary bread and baked so that the cheese is perfectly melted and the ham is nice and warm. The apricot mustard gives a nice flavor boost, and to make it even better, it comes with a fried egg on top! When I poked the yolk and it dripped all over the sandwich, I was basically in love. SO delicious!! And it comes with Blvd's tasty salt & pepper fries. I highly recommend getting the Croque Madame from Blvd! It's a great deal for a ton of food (I left the restaurant feeling stuffed!). The service was pretty good and the restaurant is decorated in a really cute way. I'll certainly be back!

I really do love Arnold Myint. And, I think he should have won Top Chef. But, that said, I do not love BLVD. I merely think it is an A-OK experience. The great about BLVD: * The "bread basket" that is served before you order anything is a pretzel and waffle basket that comes with house made mustard and house made butter. But, it was some kind of special butter - our table's guess was it was infused with vanilla. * The French Fries, particularly the curry fries, the truffle oil fries, and the habanero fries. (But, not the pesto pine nut fries... ick) The A-OK: * They make some A-OK and creative sandwiches like the hamburger and the seared ahi tuna sandwich. * The price points are significantly more affordable than Cha Chahs, and honestly you can get a couple of beers, an appetizer of fries, and a sandwich and get out of the place with a pretty reasonable bill and a very, very full stomach * The location and the venue itself are fun, have garage doors to raise and lower in good weather but protect you from the elements should a quick spring or summer shower blow in The bad: * The service - I don't know what it is about this place but the service is terrible. It's like I disrupted their day by showing up at the restaurant and eating. * They don't do pick up orders. I can show up at the restaurant, order from the bar, and then leave with to-go containers, but I cannot call the restaurant place an order and drive to pick it up... Huh? I don't get it. You do "to-go", obviously, but not "pick up".
(3)Stephanie K.
After a few months of operation, BLVD seems to be still finding its footing as a restaurant. I had my second visit last night and our waitress was charming and all but her response to most questions was "I don't know, I'm new here." Apparently, previous food service experience is not among their top hiring stats. We did have a different employee (bartender?) stop by our table and deliver a speech about the country of origin of the cherry in my date's whiskey sour. I'm into that kind of thing, so that was cool. He also told us that regular maraschino cherry dye is made from cockroaches, which is not true. That dye is made from tasty, tasty petroleum. Good things: Yes, please I will gladly pay $5 for a beer and $6 for pesto fries or truffle fries (which were both AMAZING) but not for habanero fries which were that annoying kind of spicy where all you taste is pain. The smoked vinegar and aioli condiments also rocked it. I recommend both the mac n cheese and fondue bowl though they were basically the same thing. In one the carbs are built in (mac) and the other you add them in yourself. This is not an indictment of either, but I wouldn't order both in the same meal. Neutral: I wasn't a fan of the Brussels sprouts at Cha Chas (same owner, same location) and the ones here are just okay. Maybe it's better when they are in season. Anyone know when Brussels sprout season is? Finally, the waffle/pretzel bread basket is tasty and actually very filling. One reason I have never ordered an entree here is I am already in a carb coma by the time I get my drink. That does not make good business sense to me, but it's pretty great.

My brother and I grabbed dinner on my first official night as a Nashville resident. It was raining, Sunday night, and quite dead. But I am so glad we landed on coming here! Sundays are 1/2 off bottles of wine...so we got a pleasant cotes du rhone for only $16. We split the shepherd's pie and pork plates...and wow. Both plates were fantastic in their own right. We left full and happy, with a bill under $50. I have a feeling I'll be heading back to blvd on many a Sunday night.

Service was bad. Waiter gave out the menus with no explanation of any specials or what the menu was. Spent some time in choosing my lunch choice and after deciding, when the waiter came back, said said the page I was looking at was the dinner menu and needed to order from the lunch menu. Warm water, had to ask for ice twice. Never saw the daily lunch special menu till I noticed it at the end of the table. Asked for something to be added to my order- nope can not add anything. Really!!!!! They added a 20% tip to the check even including the tax. Perhaps that is why we never saw the waiter again untill the bill was dropped off. Never came back to see how we were doing. The food was totally bland and not worth what the price was. We shared a few of the dishes. Hamburger was tasteless. No seasoning, just cooked. Bread was nothing speacial either. I had the fries as a side. Skinny fries, over cooked, and like a square potatoe chip hard and crunchy. Tasted the pate sandwhich. Again, bland and tasteless. Chicken salad, bland and below ordinary from what you can get from any supermarket deli. Would never return nor recommend. $87 for five lunches, three soda, no alcohol.

I came to Blvd on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch with my coworkers. We'd called ahead to make a reservation for 8 and were seated immediately upon arrival. After much ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the small but varied menu, we decided on a number of appetizers and lunch entrees that left us excited for the meal to follow. We started with orders of fried okra, brussels sprouts and truffle fries. The first two apps were delicious; the okra was served hot, crispy and spicy with a delicious dipping sauce, and the brussels sprouts were cooked nicely with a vinegary sauce that complimented them perfectly. The truffle fries were fine, but nothing particularly special or noteworthy - I didn't feel as though they tasted much different from your everyday french fries WITHOUT truffle oil. I'd like to try the spicy habanero fries next time. Our entrees arrived a few minutes later (in actuality, it took quite awhile for our entrees to arrive, though I'm willing to let that slide due to our large party and the lunchtime rush). I very happily split the quinoa falafel wrap and the Greek seared tuna. Both entrees were incredibly delicious! I loved the texture and large size of the falafel wrap; the falafel balls were cooked well and flavored nicely. The seared tuna salad was incredible; the kale tabouli salad was truly fantastic with big chunks of marcona olives and dried cranberries, and the tuna was seared for just the right amount of time. YUM. Others at our table ordered the blvd burger and raved about the size and quality of their hamburger, and the chicken salad melt looked delicious, as well. A couple of people ordered the potato salad as their side dish and, upon stealing a bite, I was immediately jealous I didn't order some, too. Next time! Finally, we ordered a couple of their homemade desserts for a bite of something sweet: the chocolate parfait and the apple pie parfait. Both were good, but the apple pie parfait was the clear winner. The pretzel streusel in the middle of the parfait really put the dish over the edge, and lended a nice saltiness that paired beautifully with the sweet apples and ice cream. They were also sized perfectly and priced just right. Overall, I'd be back in a heartbeat for lunch. Would I wait an hour or more for brunch or dinner over the weekend? Probably not. But I would definitely think of this place when I have food-oriented guests in town or want something really special and delicious for lunch.

Saturday night dinner, three of us total. They have a great happy hour that includes a drink and appetizer. Selection is pretty diverse and there is something for everyone. Three apps were curry fries, crab cake, and duck pate. Any of the seasoned fries are great, crab cake was a little over breaded and the pate (served on baguette with hot mustard) was okay. Entrees were much stronger than apps, Steak Diane was cooked perfectly (med-rare) and seasoned well. Shepperd's pie was a perfect combination of truffle mashed parsnips, lamb, beef, bacon and mirepoix. Pretty mellow location in Belmont. There are a couple tv's floating around and most of the servers are cool. I will definitely be back again, I had a great time and enjoyed the food and relaxed atmosphere.

Eek! I don't know where to begin. Got a great seat on the patio and there was a wine bottle filled with luke warm water. The server was new and completely in the weeds and it wasn't even busy. He brought glasses for the water and we were almost finished with our water before he came back and we had to tell him we were ready to order drinks. Bizarre there is only one cocktail on the menu. I had a horrible glass of merlot, husband had jackalope thunder Ann, always good. Then we had to flag him down again to order our apps. Got the fondue and lamb meatballs. Then this bread basket I've heard rave reviews about arrived with the apps. The cornmeal waffle fell apart and was not good. The pretzel was hard and underwhelming- Auntie Annie's in the mall is better . The fondue was horrible. When you call something fondue, at least resemble it. It was not creamy and was basically fried cheese in a cast iron dish. It was consistency of cheddar melted. Awful! And I love cheese! Super disappointing. The lamb meatballs were ok. I'm sure they are delicious fresh, but they tasted like they were made last week and then perhaps thrown in the fryer because they had a hard fried crust on the outside. The yogurt dip was good. So again, had to tell the waiter we were ready to order entrees. Ended up splitting salmon and grits and truffle oil and chive fries. Sounded good, but the fries were, well fries. Nothing special. I had to ask for ketchup. The salmon was cooked well, but way too much seasoning, especially pepper. The grits had a nice texture, but were greasy. We were out of water and I ended up grabbing what looked like a manager bussing tables and asking for some. This time we got a cold bottle thank goodness. Obviously we will not be returning. Very disappointing coming from a Top Chef winner or contestant- not sure which. The takeaway is this: it's elevated bar food for college students- plain and simple.

HORRIBLE service! It took going up to the hostess after waiting 10 minutes to ask where our server was before we were even initially greeted and had our drink orders taken. Paid $25 for a relatively small, mediocre tasting entree. Was still hungry when we left. I would NOT recommend going here. Save your money for the love of all that is holy!

I am so pleasantly impressed with blvd! I was cautiously optimistic because none of Myint's other endeavors really get me going. And this location seemed slightly cursed. But I am happy to report that blvd is exactly the kind of place that needed to go in that spot & I cannot wait to go back. There was a 30 min wait, so my friend & I just grabbed seats at the bar. I didn't sample the pretzel & waffle, but they are undoubtedly delicious. I did have a small taste of the vanilla butter & it was awesome. Lamb meatballs were spicy & super good. I had the steak with wilted greens and my friend had the brussels sprouts salad + habenero fries. Steak was great, fries were kick ass. The best part of blvd is the vibe. It's the kind of place that is perfect for a casual Friday night dinner when you can't think of where to go but want a good meal at a decent restaurant: not fancy, but cool. Not sleezy, but not pretentious either. Better food than most other Nashville spots with the same description. I loved it.

The food seems playful.... I went here with a date, and spent only $33, which included a drink a piece. I got the crab cakes sandwich and my date got a semi-fancy hamburger with cheese (sorry, the name eludes me...). I wish it had more music....I like how music seems to give energy to a place.....but oh well.... 4.4 out of 5.

Found this place by accident and decided to go in for breakfast. The menu is relatively small and pretty unique so you have to take a culinary chance. The place itself is pretty cool, and the server was incredibly nice and fast on the refills. The food was also pretty good.

First off, food was wonderful, esp the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Second service above and beyond. Case in point: VERY drunk, nicely dressed woman (from another locale) staggering down street, broke glass of water, tried to get into car. The staff called and paid for a ride to take her home, after talking her into staying put at the restaurant and NOT getting into her car to drive. Then locked her car doors (BMW) for her. These people were true angels for this woman. Plus the regular service was great too! Back to the food: SO good. We're going back for brunch tomorrow! Lots of reasons to try this restaurant.

Boulevard is a great addition to the Belmont dining options!! I have to say I really enjoyed it and it fits well into the nashville dining scene while still adding something new. The cocktails are good and reasonably priced; I had the boulevard belle. For dinner I had the Salmon and Grits from a recommendation from our server, and it was amazing! My friend got the lamb meatballs which were amazing as well, and the different varieties of fries are definitely a highlight, too. Try the pesto fries! Also, I love how they give you a little pot of pimento cheese with your bread to start. And watermelon! Such a good idea; why doesn't every restaurant do that?!

"The wait will be 45 minutes. I don't know - is that a long time? I'm kind of new at this." That's how we were greeted - after waiting in the entryway for about five minutes, with no obvious place to stand or person to check in with - on a Saturday night. We were with another couple, and after the puzzled looks faded, the men decided to head over to PM, to see how the wait was there. I mean, 45 minutes? How could that be? There was a great four top right in front of us, covered with menus and other notebooks, obviously getting ready for tomorrow's brunch. You shouldn't have a four top, in the center of the busiest room in the place, left unavailable on a Saturday night, especially when everyone can see it and see themselves sitting around it. Just as we were about to leave, the same time-has-no-meaning-to-me-because-I'm-new-to-your-Âplanet guy said "Oh, party of four? Your table is just about ready." (Note: he was a really nice guy, and I think honestly he was thrown in the deep end that night. If you're reading this - I'm sorry for the snark.) And thank goodness, too, because the food was solid - first the bread service, which consisted of cornmeal waffles with honey/vanilla butter, and a fresh pretzel with apricot stone ground mustard. This was outstanding, and I could have ordered a Kronenbourg 1664 (on tap!) and the bread basket and left completely satisfied. But, brave souls that we were, we pressed on with a pretty tasty fondue dish that was perfect for the extra waffles at the table. Think about it - savory waffles with melted cheese, bacon and potatoes. Outstandingly bad-for-you food. I had the steak frites - enough fries to feed three people - and my wife had the burger, which was good but too large, thanks to the pretzel roll that served as a bun and weighed more than the ground beef. Our friends had the burger (wife) and the hickory chicken (hubby). He reported that it was just OK - the barbecue sauce wasn't tangy enough, and he admitted he had "no idea how to eat chicken and waffles." I was glad he said that, because I don't, either. I know it's tasty and all, but I have no frame of reference for it. I'M A YANKEE. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! Our server was great, and the manager did stop over to talk with us about the experience, explaining much of the technique behind the food we'd been served to that point. It was a nice touch. Overall, we all agreed that we'd return to Blvd. again, because the food was good enough to triumph over the really weird front-of-house issues, and I'd like to order just a bunch of starters next time - the French Onion soup, roasted mushrooms and maybe the Top Chef Lamb Meatballs. "Top Chef!" Since the menu brought it up ... when I eat out nowadays, I find myself judging the experience the way Tom or Padma would. I usually pretend I'm Padma, because seriously, think about it - who would YOU rather be? Honorary bear-in-training Tom, messing with the minds of all the contestants with sly comments back in the kitchen during prep, or slinky, sexy supermodel Padma, messing with the minds of the male contestants by just existing? So if I were Padma, and last night were a Top Chef "Restaurant Wars" episode ... well, first, I'd take a long, hot shower, because seriously, when would I ever get this chance again? Then I'd probably tell the front of the house guy that I was inclined to tell him to pack his knives and go, but because I'm Padma Lakshmi, I would show benevolence on him and let him live to complete another day. Maybe on Last Chance Kitchen, if anyone ever watched that thing.

OMG...everything was awesome! The best Brussels sprouts ever, French onion soup to die for, and my husband LOVED the shepherds pie. And, great service and fun atmosphere. My new favorite place in Nashville.

My gfs and I went for brunch this morning at Blvd (served Sundays only 11-2:30). The food was great but the service left a little to be desired. Both my friends got the maple waffle with all the toppings while I got the egg skillet. Both were quite delicious and there were several things on the menu that had me drooling. The three of us shared a bottle of champagne because it's half price bottles on Sunday! I think it's actually supposed to only be half price wine but that wasn't clear on the drink menu so they honored it anyway (begrudgingly). However service was pretty slow. It was fine for us because we weren't in a hurry whatsoever, but if I had been it probably would have been frustrating. At one point we had what seemed like a kind of an odd interaction with the server and there was classical music in the background which made it all seem like we were in a strange scene of a woody allen movie. It seems like maybe they have some kinks to work out with their timing/service which I don't quite understand since the other reviews say it's all the same staff as ChaCha. Nonetheless I was happy with the food and the atmosphere so I'll gladly be back to try out their other brunch items. There is a nice couch area which seems like it would be great for relaxing with a book, some friends, and a bottle of wine!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a while. We came on a Sunday afternoon. There were a few people in the restaurant eating, and the other tables were all dirty. Our server walked us around the restaurant trying to find a clean table. We were at the restaurant an hour and a half and saw our server approximately three times. The tables around us were never cleaned...even though we were the only people in there for about an hour. The burger was good... I would order it again but I'd rather go somewhere else with better service. My husband ordered the chicken tenders and fries ...and he said he would never recommend it! The fries are overpriced for what they are. Very Disappointing!
(2)Stephanie C.
It was very, very good food! We were there on Easter and had the habanero fries, maple waffle, and burger! We even were served a complimentary bread basket that had Easter candy, Peeps, and plastic eggs... Great touch! On Sunday the also do half off Jackalope so my Thunder Ann was only $2.50! They had a limited menu but I would definitely go again to try other items!

I went to blvd on the 4th of July. They had an abbreviated menu and Happy Hour all day. I split truffle fries with friends and had the chop chop salad and grilled corn with lime and cilantro. It was all delicious. I have food allergies and the staff at blvd is always very helpful, accommodating and well informed. There is always something creative and tasty for me to eat there. I find that to be true at all of Arnold Myint's restaurants. I really enjoy blvd. Great food, great drinks, great service. Can't go wrong.

More than pleasantly surprised with Blvd! Light, charming atmosphere not stuffy, though going for the French thing. Lucky not to have to wait at 7:15 on a Thursday...I'm sure that was due to the downpour. Thank goodness for valet. My friend and I were greeted immediately by a super nice waitress (brown hair, name begins with a T, sorry I can't remember more) who was very knowledgeable about the menu. I felt like she answered all of my questions (and my friend's) honestly and made suggestions from the menu based on our tastes. Basket of bread is a great first impression. Warm, freshly baked pretzel (awesome) and a waffle (wanted to love it but just OK) along with a couple spreads: honey butter something was forgettable but the mustard held my attention. I wouldn't have considered the tuna nicoise and am so glad to have been nudged that way. Wow! What an amazing mixture of flavors! THe portion was larger than I could manage so about halfway through, I dove into the innards and left the ciabatta. I will absolutely go back for this sandwich. My friend chose the local feta omelete, aso a recommendation. YUM! An omelete for dinner??? Definitely! Wine list was sufficient. A few other random things: loved having the bottle of water on the table, loved the EAT picture, love the staff interactions, dishes walking by to other tables look sooo good. Looking forward to going for brunch.

I'm slightly hesitant to write this review because I don't tend to be negative or make assumptions based on one visit. However, in this case I am making an exception as my experience at blvd this weekend was very disappointing. I was with a group of five for a friend's birthday who had been there several times with good experiences. Our waiter, who I have decided not to name, was rather standoffish and seemed uninterested in actually connecting with his patrons. (I didn't read any of the other reviews before writing mine, but now I'm editing this and someone else said it best... It was like I was interrupting his day by coming in.) With that aside, as we all have our bad days, the service in general was nothing to be excited about. We attempted not to be high maintenance with our questions and requests, but for all but one of us we honestly weren't familiar with the menu. I wasn't sure what to get and wanted to get a salad, so I started to order the wedge salad. A few of the other girls ordered fries, but I asked the waiter if there was something I should try if I never had a chance to come back to blvd. He suggested the Brussels sprouts (and I do like Brussels sprouts) as that was something that was popular. I asked if that was "salad like" since I was already getting the wedge salad and he said that it was different. I took his word for it and ordered the wedge salad and the Brussels sprouts as my appetizer. One of the other girls ordered the vegetable tart as her meal after asking more about it and she said it sounded good. (I am not noting the meals of the other girls because there weren't any issues.) Our appetizers arrived in a normal amount of time, but when my Brussels sprouts were put in front of me it was really hard not to look at it and NOT call it a salad. It was JUST like a salad. It was good, but a few bites in and the super vinegary dressing was a bit too much. I could only stomach about 1/2 of the Brussels sprouts "salad". I didn't think I'd be able to eat the rest or anything else for that matter! I decided that I better get our waiters attention to let him know that I wouldn't be needing the second salad (ha!). We were finally able to grab his attention and unfortunately it was right before our meals came out. I had to embarassingly ask the gentleman who brought our food (not our waiter) to take the wedge salad back as I would not be eating it. I don't recall our waiter offering to bring me something else (not that I could have eaten anything), but he also acted quite annoyed when I told him that the Brussels sprouts were a bit too vinegary and that it was basically a salad. I mean... it was! Too bad I didn't get a picture. I also couldn't finish my $11 drink because my tongue was now on fire from the vinegar. (And I'm not a vinegar wimp mind you.) Anywhoo... The vegetable tart is the other food item I will touch on. When it was served, all of our eyes got big... it was only about 4 inches in diameter. The thing was minuscule... and $11!! My friend said it was good, but definitely NOT worth $11 freakin' dollars. So, the last thing I will mention is probably the thing that made us the most upset. My friend who made the reservation the day before specifically told the person who took her reservation that she would be bringing a cake for her sister's birthday and asked if that would be okay. The blvd employee told her that wouldn't be a problem. So, when our waiter brought out the cake and five plates we didn't think anything of it. Well... then we got our bills. Each one of us was charged a $3 cake fee. So, $15 dollars for our waiter to bring out the cake we cut and plated ourselves. That was probably more than the tiny cake itself cost! We didn't want to act too upset because we didn't want the birthday girl to be upset, but we were all shocked! I've never seen that before... at least not without a heads up about that cost. The employee that took the reservation should have been up front about that. I've heard of cork fees and such, but usually those fees are advertised beforehand. Just because we didn't order dessert there, I think $3/person is a bit steep for bringing out a teeny cake for crying out loud! Unfortunately, I won't be giving this restaurant a second chance because I literally have a bad taste in my mouth now. We had a nice time together despite the underwhelming aspects of our visit to blvd.

First time at this place. Tried their happy hour and wasn't very impressed with the food. It was difficult to find something on the hh menu that even sounded good. Finally decided to try a few and we didn't really like any of them. We like to try a place for happy hour before deciding to try dinner. I doubt we'll be back. It's too bad since the place was cute and they had outdoor seating. Also, the bartender was very nice and did a great job.
(2)Amanda M.
Any place that serves me a pretzel and a savory waffle right off the bat has me at hello. It was at this point where I realized that Arnold Myint has a midas touch and whatever culinary endeavor he brings to our fair city, it's inevitable that I will fall in love. We started with a fondue appetizer which was outstanding. For the main course, I had all intentions of devouring a burger, but my game-time decision opted for the Quinoa Falafel Wrap instead. It was VERY good, but even still as I read these burger reviews, I think I missed out. Don't feel too sorry for me though, the liquid perfection of the beautiful, citrus-y Pinky Lees eased my pain. Don't think it's over, burger. I'll be back for you.

Nice place to go on a warm evening, white table-cloth outdoor seating. Server was attentive and pleasant. Two dishes that we ordered -- pork plate and mussels -- were very flavorful. Mussels done with lots of capers, saffron, not just the standard wine and garlic deal. Pork plate featured two types of pork (pulled shoulder and a chunk of belly) served with two tasty sauces. I'm going down to 3 from 4 stars because of the salad. Salad/w cheese and pears can be a magical thing, but this one was a let-down: either greens were not fresh or dressing was applied long before I ordered. A few thin insipid pear slices on top of slimy greens, blue cheese totally bland and without bite. Small portion for the $. Seems that menu is hit or miss, if you order from the 'hit' column, you'll have a good meal. All that said...I still miss ChaChah...!
(3)Meg G.
We went to BLVD last weekend. We went to Chah Chah once a few years ago when we were visiting before we moved here. We had delicious homemade pretzels after we sat down. They came with a delicious apricot mustard. I had the salmon and grits. As I am allergic to shrimp, I was excited to eat a dinner entree with grits that I could eat. There were thick chunks of bacon scattered overtop and the salmon was on top of wilted greens. Delicious. They had my favorite Jackalope Beer on tap (Thunder Ann) and overall I really liked my meal. The menu had a lot of options in the $12-18 range and I had a hard time choosing. Everyone seemed to be happy with their meals. It wasn't the best place for kids. It was a bit tight, and the two women sitting near us (undergrad/grad students?) seemed a bit peeved to have a toddler in their midst. Perhaps I was misreading. The place definitely has a cool feel. It reminds me a lot of Marche or Lockeland Table with a slightly more uptown vibe. We will keep this in mind, but perhaps for date night when a babysitter is with our son.
(4)Katelyn B.
I don't even want to give one star. the hot chicken sandwich is just terrible. deep fried frozen chicken finger cut in half. Not hot at all. Fries were terrible, cold & soggy. The bacon on the salad I got were not edible. We were joking about getting Krystal's instead & I wish now we would have.
(1)Rey M.
The bartender was really nice and had a great attitude. Hence the star. It ends there. We are not hipsters, therefore, we were placed in the non-hipster back room. It was quiet and very boring. We sat with other non-hipsters and a family that claimed to know the owner. They were even texting menu suggestions to Arnold...I guess. They got awesome attention, but terrible service. As a result we were forgotten several times throughout our own terrible service. We finished our overcooked and underseasoned food before our drinks came. Not by choice. I wish we were as cool as that family. Actually, cooler, maybe then we would be able to sit in the front of the restaurant in one of the many empty tables. I won't bother mentioning the food, other than it being yet another example of Nashville trying to hard to be a foodie haven. This is not gourmet, not fun. Try his other restaurant, PM for good sushi, if you don't mind a dirty building and unkempt facilities. Otherwise, don't get fooled by the foodie trap menu.
(1)Teresa B.
This place has a great menu and a beautiful atmosphere. The brussel sprout salad is surprisingly tasty and they have a good selection of tea. The bar area is also very nice and airy. Definitely worth checking out. I've been here for lunch but have not yet visited in the evening but I plan on it.

If you dont like this place......Then check your pulse or get an MRI of your brain, or just go balls to the wall and get a tongue transplant. These people can cook and i mean for real. if you need company hit me up on twitter...I will come eat and drink with you. the menu have something for EVERYONE...and if you dont like it, try it. You will lOVE it.I dont eat eggs, not at all.And I ate the sunny side up egg on the green eggs and lamb. Guess where i will be this weekend . On the Blvd (lol)

Great burgers! Try the BLVD house burger that has a pretzel bun!

HOLY HOT PRETZEL BATMAN!!!!! This place is terrible. The food is like Whoa. Tasty morsels to the max ya'll. The service is abysmal. Whatever factory is turning out these clone like Hipster waiters that are more focused on their crappy Droid cell phones than bringing me a beer within 15 minutes needs to be shutdown. Where are the managers in these restaurants ? If you think you can leave ten 24 year old Hipsters in charge of running a business you are sorely mistaken. They were hanging out with each other more than serving their busy restaurant. I saw my waiter smoke two cigarettes while I was there for an hour and fifteen minutes waiting up to 15 minutes for a beer. They need some one to crack the whip on the wait staff, The food was was excellent. I will go back because of the food but the question is will I leave because of the staff? NEW YEARS EVE REVIEW This place has gotten worse and worse. The attitude of the staff and the way they comport themselves is totally unprofessional. Last time I was here our table waited 3 HRS !!!!!! for sandwiches and chicken fingers. They wouldn't bring us drinks and kept saying the bar tender had to "go downstairs" for the alcohol, which was really strange. They kept sending different people over to apologize and not just to our table. These hipsters just cannot be bothered to lower themselves to actually serving someone. If you go here you will have a bad experience as most of the people I know do as well. The service is the worst I have ever experienced.

I was absolutely predisposed to like this place (even after actually seeing it's painfully trendy quasi-industrial chic motif) as I have been seeking a brunch/lunch "go to" place in BNA for awhile. The restaurant, however, quickly let me know it would not be lifting my burden this day. For a place that scores so high in cyberspace...it is abysmally in reality. In fact, after experiencing this culinary purgatory...I believe I will now take all YELP reviews with a boulder of salt. Simply put: Disguising frozen Sam's Club fare by plating it on post hipster, casual white kitchen dishes does not make it more edible, let allow more memorable. Here's a helpful note; Jedi mind tricks really only work in the movies. Here's another one: actually cooking the food completely might go a long way towards people wanting to pay for it. The only redeeming thing at the .blvd was our waitress. She at least gave the appearance of being on our side when the kitchen runner served my meal 20 minutes ahead of my companion's. One final post script: there are still price tags hanging on some of your light fixtures, I guess this is a conscious nod to Minnie Pearl...but you may want to consider leaving them on to save time in the near future.

Wandering the edges of the Belmont campus I was lured by a sign for a Chicken melt. I didn't know that it was going to be served on a tasty croissant, and be accomanied by the best fries I've had in a month. Be sure to tip extra, they're awesome!
(5)Cynthia O.
Prices are too high. I spent almost $9 for a bowl of soup. Atmosphere really nice and very accomodating staff. It would be great to see this place take off, so maybe they can adjust their prices to be more reasonable.
(3)Lisa M.
my meal was good, staff was fine - not really warm but efficient. I was in a group of 10 so a fun server is always good. Strange menu, but if you try -- you'll find something normal to order and you'll enjoy it.

We had great food and good, but rushed service. We started with the pesto french fries and Top Chef lamb meatballs. Both were excellent! This is where the rushed service started though - our entrees were dropped when we were about 20% into our starters. I had the salmon and grits and it was spot on - the salmon was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the shepherd's pie and it was tasty too - ultimate comfort food. We were still finishing and discussing dessert when our server (Alex - super friendly and helpful!) dropped our check. We told him we were up for dessert and more cocktails and he apologized for rushing us - it just wasn't the dining experience we were looking for. The food was so good we'll be back though.

Ate at Blvd for dinner this past Saturday night. We started with the roquefort and spinach pate (perfect with the roasted red peppers) and the fontina fondue. Both were very good. The bread basket is outstanding with a pretzel (and whole-grain apricot mustard) and cornmeal waffle (with a vanilla butter). I was a little surprised that there was only one cocktail on the menu, but I stuck with wine and my husband really enjoyed Crispin cider on draft. Between the appetizers and the bread basket, I wasn't very hungry for a main course, so I ordered the farm egg Caesar. It was my kind of Caesar salad - not too creamy and heavy on the fresh pepper. The broken yolk added the perfect texture. My husband ordered the burger, which arrived a little on the rare side. He was fine with it, but I would've sent it back for a few more minutes of cooking. I stole quite a few bites of the slaw that came with the burger. Our service was a little strange, as our server disappeared after leaving the check on the table, and never offered us dessert, even though I had been staring at the dessert table all night. I think Blvd has great potential, and other menu items looked phenomenal. I loved Cha Chah, but this price point seems to fit the neighborhood a bit better. We will definitely be back.

I have been here twice, and I want to love it but just can't. The first time I got a Croque Madame. The food tasted delicious but the sandwich was too big and fell apart... Not the best thing to eat on a date. I actually have no memory of the side I got. The second time I ordered off the Brunch menu (at dinner) and got Beans, Eggs, Sausage, and Toast. (I had just run 6 miles). The portion size on this is HUGE. A big change in Nashville dining. I'm not sure it was at the level of gourmet I would expect for $14 but it was good. My main problem this time was that the brunch menu does not clearly indicate which items come with sides and which don't. (The normal lunch and dinner menu has a front side of items that come with sides and a back side of items that don't. The brunch menu is just one side.) Also, when I asked the waitress which side went with what I was ordering and was struggling to find something, she did not inform me that a side didn't come with what I was getting and would cost extra. I did not know the side wasn't included until I got my check. $4 for cucumber salad... which I didn't eat because the meal I had ordered was so filling. I didn't want the side and wouldn't have ordered it if I had known it wasn't included. Upon realizing she'd been unclear about the menu, the waitress didn't apologize, she just said "okay" and walked away.... I'm not really one to misinterpret menus, so I've never had this happen before , but I would imagine most restaurants would either at least apologize for the confusion or in most cases offer to take off the item.

Surprise, surprise...another pretentious Arnold Myint restaurant. Let me start off by saying that our food was not bad. The warm brussels sprouts salad had good intentions but ultimately failed due to too much vinegar and chili (we honestly couldn't finish the dish, as the bottom half of the sprouts were basically soaking in vinegar). The burger was quite tasty (fried egg on top was cooked to perfection and the pretzel bun was a nice touch). The walnut gnocchi was fine--nothing wrong with it but far more roasted vegetables than gnocchi and not really worth the $14 price tag. The warm pretzel (with sweet, whole grain mustard) and savory waffle (with vanilla butter) served as a bread basket were fun options--although I still would have preferred some freshly baked bread. The issue, however, came with the service and attitude. When Cha Chah closed, I was neither surprised nor disappointed. I'd had several mediocre food experiences there, along with some first-rate douchery from the staff/owner. I figured that they may have realized that such an attitude wouldn't fly in a middle of the road Nashville restaurant, so when blvd opened in the same space, I thought I'd give it a try. (I should've realized what I was getting myself into when I saw that they were too cool to even capitalize the name of the restaurant.) We initially tried to order the fondue appetizer but were told that they were "out of fontina cheese" and could therefore do neither the fondue nor the mac 'n cheese. (How a restaurant runs out of cheese by early dinner time on a Monday night is beyond me.) When then looked over at the table next to us and saw a sandwich that looked great, so we asked the waitress what it was. She said, "I don't know. I'm new here." When I told her that I thought it looked like the tuna nicoise she told me that I was wrong but that she would check on it. It turns out that it was actually the tuna nicoise but we wouldn't have known without asking the girl eating it because our first waitress never came back to tell us. Anyway, when my girlfriend ordered the chicken salad melt and asked if she could have it on a bread other than the croissant, she was told: "you can add or subtract things from a sandwich but we can't switch breads." Seriously? Is it too difficult to put a sandwich on a different type of bread or has Arnold Myint's appearance on Top Chef made him so full of himself that he won't allow anyone to mess with his perfect menu? I then ordered the burger and asked if I could get the spiced curry fries instead of regular fries--and said I'd be willing to pay more. However, I was informed that they "can't upgrade french fries because they're too labor intensive." I honestly thought that he was joking at first but apparently tossing fries in some curry powder is beyond the scope of what professional chefs in a restaurant are willing to do for a side order on an $11 burger ($13 with the fried egg). All in all, the food was reasonable (with a few serious flaws), it was nice to sit outside on a cool, spring night and the value wasn't too bad (although prices were probably a little higher than they needed to be)...but the poor service and unjustified attitude will keep me from ever returning. There are far too many good restaurants in Nashville for me to spend any more time/money at one that seems to care more about appearance than quality control and customer service.

I like this place a lot. The menu is great, and our sever was friendly. The only issue we had was it took a long time to get our food because I guess they lost the order or something, but we got free dessert! I need to go back and try the fries now!

Went to BLVD for Sunday brunch with a friend. Though we were immediately seated, the service was lackluster. We waited quite a bit of time between being seated, getting drinks, ordering, and the food finally arriving. The restaurant was not particularly busy either, but the service was still slow. We ordered an omelet and waffles. Both were cold when they arrived at the table. The butter on top of the waffles did not even melt, because the waffles had apparently been sitting out for so long. The omelet was a tad warmer, but not fresh out of a skillet. Overall, the food tasted just ok. There are several places in town with much better waffles and omelets that cost less and taste better. My friend had to salt, pepper, and ketchup his omelet to have much flavor. My waffle, aside from being cold, was chewy and the toppings weren't particularly flavorful, despite sounding great on the menu (maple, berries, etc.). We won't be back because the overall experience was not offensive, but it wasn't good either.

Not a good experience. We were excited to go to Blvd to enjoy a light dinner and wine on a nice sunny spring evening. The service was bad and the food was very mediocre. And that is being kind. We were looking for a healthy salad and appetizers. The Caesar salad was bland (tasted like the lettuce was out of a bag) and the cheese plate was so so. Won't be back.

After reading the reviews saying this place was for hipsters only we almost didn't go. I sure am glad we tried it anyway! That PRB hotdog was delicious. We didn't feel at all like we didn't fit in and were treated very friendly by the staff. We'll be back :)

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT THE FOOD IS GREAT... THE ONLY DOWN FALL THAT THEY DEFININTELY HAVE TO FIX IS HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET IT. I was not the only person on the patio yesterday on sunday 8/4 that realized that it took over 20 minutes to get food delivered to your table. I didn't have anything too complicated except the madame sandwich. Someone needs to speak with the kitchen staff on 15 minutes or less especially around 1 pm when the restaurant was not very busy. Overall service was good and the location is excellent.

Went out with a group of 8 last night and unexpectedly ended up here on their opening night. As the staff is mostly intact from the previously Cha Cha, I would call this a reintroduction rather than a new restaurant. I never dined at Cha Cha but this is a nice, cozy restaurant. Our diners had some hits and misses on the menu. Hits: The fondue appetizer, cheesy delicious. The french fries are good as well. The hamburger on the menu is delicious, one of the better burgers around. Misses: The chicken dish, which is a leg thigh combo with barbecue sauce was mediocre at best and I would never order it again, this was recommended by the server. The salad with egg on top was widely panned as weird and not executed well, a disappointment. The wine list is limited with mostly french offerings and reasonably priced. I could see coming to the cool bar and having a drink and trying some small plates in the future after they sort things out.

food was good, service a meh. no one told us the other side of the menu was dinner only, why can't we get lamb meatballs at lunch? those are so good. the server forgot our second order of fries, he was not very conscious (yes I mean conscious not conscientious) I;ll come back for the food, it was delicious.

Fantastic dinner at this restaurant. Food is off the charts. I had the Salmon and grits and it was VERY good! The 3 others in my party LOVED their dish as well. A must go to! Cant wait to go back. We have been to all of the new, great places in Nashville and this might be my favorite.
