Love Toot's chicken fingers in HOT and their fried pickles. We always have friendly wait staff and have more than enough to take home to chop up and put in a salad the next day. Looking at the pics, below, makes me want it right now :) My only complaint is that it is usually SO loud in there. If they would turn down the volume a bit, maybe the guests wouldn't have to talk so loud. p.s. There's a review on here talking about 4 people getting sick from the same location. They were NOT talking about THIS location. Just wanted to point that out :)

Probably the best chicken tenders and fried pickle chips I've ever had the servers however not so great. The management requires the server to take your out of state drivers license from you and take it to them so they can "check it". I'd like to know what the management is looking for on my drivers license that they don't think their servers are smart enough to figure out, its really a little disturbing because the server was gone with my license a good 15 minutes and for all I know they could have been making a copy to steal my identity. Ok ok I know over the top but you get my point. Overall food was excellent but the whole take my license thing with the crappy servers and it being my first time here I would get my food to go.

Alright. I'm one of those people who only review places after an awful experience and I rarely even go that far. I'm a student at MTSU and toots is a Murfreesboro staple. We went out the Broadstreet location because a friend had a friend working the bar. To make a long story short, one of my friends and I visited on a Monday night and were immediately sick later that evening and well into the next day. We both had the "special" which was the chicken tenders and fries and a few beers. I called Toots the day after to inform the manager of our issue. We are the type to make sure something like this doesn't happen again, not looking for freebies. The manager straight up did not believe me claiming "more people would have called if there was an issue." I told him I was calling on behalf of myself and my friend who ate the same thing and also got sick, but he was still in disbelief. A few days after, I returned to school and discussed what had happened with some classmates only to learn that two of them were also at the Broadstreet Toots that same evening and also got sick. One of them had to go to the hospital because of dehydration due to her constant vomiting. She told me she also called them and the manager told her the exact same thing. The thing that bothers me so much is that the manager didn't ask what we ate or drank , who served us, what time we came in, etc and insisted that it wasn't food poisoning. He could be right. It could have been an employee who touched something and didn't wash their hands, or a contaminated surface the food came into contact with. Regardless, 4 people sick in the same night after visiting the same establishment is not a coincidence. A responsible manager could have at least lied about being concerned and a simple "I'm so sorry about that I will look into the matter immediately" would have sufficed. This guy was serious about defending the toots reputation and not at all concerned with customer safety which is what prompted this review.

Tried wings at the other toots and was not impressed. Wings were not crispy and sauce was a bad hooters knock off. Well these wings are worse, they were soggy and the burger was dry.

This place (on the South side of the Boro) just isn't as good as the original restaurant. They try, and you can tell the recipes are the same, but it's just not. I've always had a better, more tasty meal from the old Boro staple. This place just isn't there yet.

Really enjoy my wings and drink. The service was good but checking out was really, really slow for to be visiting at lunch. Way too much talking among the staff for my server to check me out. Manger and server need to be aware people have limited time for lunch.

We split a full rack of (amazing) ribs and fries for only $10 on a Sunday evening! The service was good and we always like the laid-back atmosphere. Decent prices on cocktails as well. Great place for the whole family.

If you like to eat fried grease then this is the place for you. Everything was just so greasy. Needless to say the food was not good. Wont be eating there again. Its kinda right up there with Captain D's seafood (if you can call it that) just cheep fried everything. Gross.

Toot's has always been very consistent and great especially for the price. The atmosphere is good for family and I went all throughout college for good beer prices. It's not a 5 star restaurant but they do what they do well. Great place to have locally.

Great family restaurant. Lots of fried foods, but you can order several grilled options on the menu. Good place for sports and just plain fun.

The Toot's restaurant on BROAD Street in Murfreesboro is MUCH better. Go there if you have the extra 7 minutes to drive. THIS Toot's: - decent fried pickles - fatty wings - awesome burgers - weird layout/seating

Went out to eat here tonight per request of my nephew. I'm not a fan of wings, but man their burgers are awesome. The Blue Hawaiian was great too. Not sure if that was what it was called, to be honest, but it was great. It is loud, but I mean, what do you expect from a place like this? It was Friday night, people were drinking, it was slammed, etc. It was a lot of fun though and the staff was super nice! The only thing that was weird to me was the hostess doesn't even escort you to your table. She pretty much was pointing to our table, which was at the VERY back of the restaurant. I'm glad we sat in the right place. Probably just did it because it was slammed, but leaving people to wander around aimlessly and find their own tables could prove to be problematic if they make it a regular practice. Haha! Overall I'm definitely a fan and will go back!

This is the first review I've done for Yelp, and unfortunately I'm doing it because my experience was so horrible. I usually check reviews before trying a new place but didn't tonight...I'm regretting that now. Let's just say I wasn't surprised to read another reviewer had fallen ill after eating there. Upon walking in, the place felt dirty. The floors were disgusting. If that's the image they portray to their customers, I can't imagine what their kitchen looks like. I should have trusted my instincts and walked out. But the restaurant had a fairly large crowd so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer, they were OK but extremely salty, even for dill pickles. I ordered the pork sliders for my entree. The pork looked disgusting. I could tell instantly it had been sitting on a steam table all day. It held the shape of the ice cream scooper they used to plop it onto stale little buns, forming a perfect ball of slimy shredded pork. I ate a few fries, hoping those were safe at least. I decided to risk a bite of the slider, hoping I was being overly judgmental. I wasn't. I instantly regretted it. Bottom line: go to Toot's if you want to experience the gut wrenching agony of food poisoning, because theres a fairly good chance you'll wind up with it. The place is filthy and the food is a health hazard.

This place was really fun. I took my family there not too long ago. I had a philly cheese steak. Wow it was a lot of food and had a ton of flavor. My elementary aged boys really enjoyed the atmosphere and small video arcade. The service was very nice and friendly. We will be coming back on the regular.

Loved it! Great atmosphere, and our server Jimmy was great. Will def be back!! I ordered the oyster platter with onion rings. It was so delicious and their homemade cocktail sauce is yummy! The place has a bar feel while still being kid friendly, and bonus, kids get a free hot dog basket.

If you like southern fried food and ladies in short shorts then here you go. We ate here twice and I love their fried pickles. Their seating arrangements are a little tight as they have booths or high tops but nothing really for large groups. Their food was good, unhealthy but good. Gets pretty busy and loud at night and on the weekends.

This is a great place to bring family and friends. The servers were very friendly and the fried pickles were great! My family and I are not use to eating so many fried items in one sitting so be prepared for that. Almost everything is fried. The sweet tea is good here, so that is a plus! They offer free hotdog kids basket, which includes a hotdog, fries and ice cream. Our family can always eat very cheap here!
