This is my new favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro! The sweet and sour chicken is different than any other I have ever had, and the fried rice and spring rolls to go with it is just about more than I can eat, and I can et a LOT! This is an unlikely place to find food of this quality, but well worth going there!

What a find! Ever since our favorite Thai restaurant changed hands we've been looking for replacement and Pad Thai is it. Intimate and attractive without being pretentious or pricey. Really nice food and substantial portions. The fresh spring rolls were cut into 8 segments which stood on a thick peanut sauce. Wonderful. The Thai Dynamite was beautiful to look at as well as delicious. They have a 1-5 spice index, and we chose 3 for the Thai Dynamite. It had a nice kick without being over-bearing. Our waitress, Noly, only works there part-time, but she was most helpful and pointed us to the chef's specialties. Shared appetizer, two entres and two ice teas cost $28.50. You can't beat it. Help these fine folks stay in business--go eat!

Best thai food in Murfreesboro.

THE BEST!! THE BEST!! THE BEST!! The food was outstanding, the atmosphere welcoming and the people are incredible. Be sure you check this place out and if you like spicy, ask them to spice it up to a 4 or more.

While driving through to WI from a Disney/Universal vacation in FL, we found this little restaurant on my Yelp! app. The other reviews actually are pretty spot on. Excellent food, very attentive service, and convenience from the expressway. The only downside (which actually worked for us since one of us is a speedeater and one of us is a super slow eater) is that the dishes came out at different times. Other than that, great!
(5)S P.
It's a small and cozy place, but the food and service are great! I bought the Groupon to try it out and definitely enjoyed it! I'll be going back for sure. I checked out their entire menu, and the lunch menu seems like a steal! The service was very great and our waitress was very attentive. The best Thai food I've had so far in Murfreesboro.

My wife and I visited this place today and came away with mixed feelings. She is Thai and therefore a very good judge of her home cuisine, I defer to her judgment more often than not. The restaurant is small and seems to be run by Thai's which always gives me confidence. Many times you can go to a supposedly Thai place only to find that the only thing Thai about it is the name. Anyhoo, i ordered the Tom Yum with Chicken and when it arrived it had Shrimp in it, not a big deal, i passed the meat to my wife and didn't complain. My wife ordered the Papaya Salad(Som Tum) , it was huge and looked appetizing. Next she had the Lad nah and I opted for the Pad Thai. Once again the dishes looked appetizing, were huge and easily enough for four people to eat. At the beginning our server asked us how spicy we wanted our food to be. It's a 1 to 5 sliding scale, with 5 being above Thai spicy and as we are familiar with Thai food we opted for 4 across the board. It's here that I have to salute the people of Murfreesboro because if you can eat food this spicy and above you are hardier than us. The first bites/tastes of our dishes were very tasty and authentic Thai but the spiciness was so extreme that we couldn't get through more than a quarter of the food, which was hugely disappointing. Even though our experience wasn't the greatest we intend to come back and try again but with a much greater application of the spice levels. With the food moderately spiced I'm sure this place will be a great place to eat and sample a little bit of the great food that Thailand offers.

I've eaten here several times and each time I've been blown away. The food is delicious, fresh, authentic, and well priced. I'm always impressed with the service; they always remember me! Every time I take someone here, they're equally impressed with the food and service. I love this place!
(5)Zindan T.
Food is amazing can't believe this is my first time in always skeptical about trying new things they have changed my mind for ever. If you go I recommend the wings the best I've had in my long career of gluttony. I'll be coming back and bring the whole family with me!
(5)Whitney R.
Great food with great prices. The Beef Pad Thai and General Chicken was undeniably delicious and flavorful.
(5)Amber L.
Beyond happy with this restaurant. My boyfriend and I got here about 30 mins before they closed but we still got amazing service. They catered to our menu modifications and made my food as spicy as I wanted. We travel all over the United States and eat Thai food everywhere and this is one of the top Thai restaurants we've eaten at, both with service and food. We will definitely be back as soon we come back through this area.

Good food, but disappointing service. When we arrived around 7pm, the restaurant was busy, and we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. It's a tiny place and they seem to do a busy to go service, as the majority of people in line in front of us were there to place or pick up orders. Although very small, the restaurant has a modern decor with colored low lighting and unique light fixtures. It had a very NYC feel to it. From the moment our server greeted our table, it was apparent to us she did not want to be there. Granted, it was New Year's Eve, but she was very abrupt with us and did not have a welcoming attitude. She did her job and we never went without anything we needed - she just didn't do it happily. We started with fried spring rolls, small and thin but hearty with chicken added to the mix, and I could have eaten far more than the 2 I limited myself to. I love coconut soup and while this version was okay, it seemed richer than others I've had and not necessarily in a good way. I'm usually all for adding extra cream or butter, but it left a heavy-feeling aftertaste. The green curry with pork was very good. The bamboo shoots were cut and cooked perfectly with a pasta-like consistency, and the vegetables including zucchini and peas were tender yet still crunchy. I think I have a pretty high tolerance for spices, but I was glad I stuck with a spice level 1 (they offer levels 1-5), as it was about a 3 on my scale. We all enjoyed our meals but commented on the lack of good organization and the need to improve the flow in which tables are turned over and to go orders are picked up, as we heard someone complain they'd been waiting one hour to pick up a to go order. The food was good, but with many Thai restaurants in the area, I believe they need to work on their management and organization in order to set themselves apart from the others.

My husband and I eat here regularly. We love the Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and their house salads. Recommend error on the side of caution with the heat. I love spicy, but always choose "1" on their heat index. Food can get very spicy, but always has wonderful flavor! The staff are always friendly and funny, very happy to help you choose a dish! Highly recommend this restaurant!
(5)Reve B.
Their Mongolian beef is amazing. It's not greasy like some Chinese food can be. Their rice was really good to. Nice staff and nice presentation!!
(4)Hailey D.
THE place for pad thai in Murfreesboro.
(4)Emily P.
Love this place! I get takeout once a week usually. My go-to is the chicken phanaeng curry, absolutely delicious. I get three meals out of one order. I don't like too much heat so I order a 1. They're a little inconsistent with the level of spicy-ness but it's never been overpowering. Chicken coconut soup is yummy too, but can sometimes be a little too rich (I just thin it out with chicken stock). Spring rolls are amazing. I ordered sweet & sour chicken for my kids last week and it was fantastic as well, not the typical dry chicken nuggets with bright red syrupy sauce you find at Chinese restaurants. Highly recommend!
(4)Eric S.
Love the food here! Gotta get the Bubble Tea! Small shop, but I love eating at these authentic places. It is true Thai cuisine
(5)Melissa S.
They are reopened. We went tonite to dine in. The space is REALLY REALLY small!! Not good for a large groups. We ordered food and it came in waves everyone ate at different times. The food wasn't that great. I complained about the soup being tasteless so the waiter brings me these disgusting spices. Made the soup worse!! Told the waiter he still charged me!!! I ordered the LAD NAH it was blah!!! Even the curry was blah!!!! To top it all off the phone kept in ringing and ringing in this tiny space!! OMG PREPARE FOR A MIGRAINE!!!! We won't go back. We are staying with lemongrass.
(1)Alex P.
My very favorite place to eat in Murfreesboro. Period. The majority of the employees are so sweet and prompt; there is only one girl (blonde) who has an attitude every time I go in, but I can get over that because the food is so good!!! My favorites are the chicken pad Thai, crab rangoons (different from the typical kind) & coconut chicken soup.
(4)Jason W.
I love this place. The food is just as good as PF Changs and it is a fraction of the cost. They can always change around any entree that you get. They can double up on the meat or swap noodles for rice. The spring rolls are most excellent
(4)Jessica E.
Fantastic food! Everything is always so fresh and delicious. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Thai food. The only problem is sometimes they are so busy they don't answer phone calls for to go orders. But that is just a minor problem. It's worth it to go up there and wait for the food because it's that good!
(4)Cindy C.
Fresh food. Well made. Veggies were crispy yet cooked through. Pad Nah, Lo Me in and pad Thai were all fantastic. Salad dressing was meh and the salad was small but who cares so much on those? Clean and friendly and well priced.
(5)C.C. W.
Awesome atmosphere, piping hot AUTHENTIC pad thai and spring rolls......... service was great and not overbearing...... the soup was a little on the spicy side, but it was delicious. We will definitely be back.
(5)Jen S.
Wow, what a find--delicious & beautiful food, reasonable prices. Really enjoyed pad Thai & fresh spring rolls. Red curry was also good. Nice waiter. Portion sizes were very generous. Would revisit, for sure, when on this side of town.
(4)Larry N.
I don't know much about thai food, but I know this place is good. the green curry = great, the drunken noodles = probably only 4 stars, but the dynamite chicken might be the best thing I've ever eaten
(5)Chelsea P.
Severely underestimated. Maybe not underestimated, but not well-known. This place is on S Church Street and is just amazing. I have never been disappointed. It's really small inside, but I cannot tell you how many times I got take out, though I did eat inside a few times as well. The Green Curry is the best I've ever had, and the presentation of any other dish you get when you dine in will blow you away. Keep up the great work, Pad Thai!
(5)Rob N.
Got the pad thai. The meal started with a delicious salad with a ginger pineapple dressing. Simple but very tasty. The service is very friendly and extremely fast. The pad Thai presentation is great and the first bite an explosion of flavor. Well done! At $8.23 this was a complete steel.
(5)Brittany S.
I called in and picked up my order to go. The food took about 30 mins, which shocked me when I went to pick it up and there wasn't a single customer in the restaurant. The employees were really friendly and attentive! My pad Thai was a little greasy, and I felt like it was more Americanized than I'm used to. Overall we probably won't order take out from there anymore, but we might go back to dine in.
(3)David F.
They are back open. Place looks great. The number listed on this page has changed to 616.203.6900
(5)Jessica S.
This is, by far, my favorite restaurant in my new neighborhood. I've been here multiple times..I've tried the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Won Ton Soup, Spring Rolls, Wings (yes, they have wings as appetizers), Egg Drop Soup, and Pad See Ew. All of the food is fresh and amazingly delicious. The restaurant is about a mile from my apartment and it's so hard not to eat it everyday. Sigh. The people who work there are also really awesome! Genuinely kind. If you're in the Murfreesboro area, this is a must.
(5)Leslie L.
This place recently re-opened after rebuilding from a fire. This used to be my favorite restaurant in town and I couldn't wait for it to reopen. The food is the best. Nice sized servings, fresh, delicious, but the service was horrible today. I overheard someone behind us say people waited for over 2 hours for food the day before, and today after an hour and 15 minutes we said we had to go, to make our order a carryout, that we had 10 minutes until we had to go. We waited 15 more minutes and had to leave without our food. Several tables who got there before us had not received their food yet either, and lots of people were very unhappy. I'm not sure what happened, their service used to be excellent just like their food.
(3)Phyllis J.
I absolutely LOVE this place. The Staff is as wonderful as the food! The dynamite wings are awesome and the Thai Spicy FR is my favorite!
(5)Sandy W.
I read great things about this place so I gave it two tries before writing this review. Overall, I'm just unimpressed. Aside for the fresh spring rolls (which were good), the food was unexpectedly slimy. The mushrooms definitely seemed canned and my non-soup dish was like a greasy soup. I really like spicy food so the first time we ordered, I asked for a 4 out of 5 on the spicy scale. I say this without hyperbole, I couldn't eat it. It was painfully spicy. The second order, I wasn't asked how spicy I wanted my dish. It was still a pool of spicy grease. Again, I totally wanted to enjoy this place but I have to give it an overall "ok"
(3)Plump P.
As of today, 12/15/14, it has reopened and is remodeled post fire. PS - I love their Spicy Basil stir-fry rice and have been craving it ever since they closed due to the fire. So happy they have reopened!
(5)Mink M.
Considering this is Murfreesboro, you wouldn't expect great Thai food but surprisingly it's pretty darn good here. The spice level is done by numbers. I get about a 2 to get a mild medium taste. A 4 is great if you can handle the spice and enjoy a bit of a burn. Curry is solid here along with their jalepeno wings. The spicy basil beef was great too. Great service and owners are super friendly. Private lot for parking. Casual atmosphere.
(4)Christy J.
We have only eaten inside once and I don't remember much but we have ordered take out more times than I'd like to admit. This is the best food and every dish has been great so far! We love it all!
(4)Jill A.
While the food is decent, the wait staff is so terrible, we are never going back. The place appears to be run by unruly teenagers. The busboy, in the short amount of time we were there, managed to: play his crappy pop music too loudly from his phone, which he carried around the restaurant with him; speak very loudly about the messy state of the women's restroom in front if customers; voice a racial slur against Hispanic people and make incredibly sexist comments; spit several times on the curb right in front of the restaurant; and crack ridiculous and unnecessary jokes with us. He was not charming, though I'm sure he thought he was. We're never going back. Service at Lemongrass just down the street is much better. And their food is much higher quality.
(2)Fay B.
Best thai food ever. Their fried rice so delicious and not greasy. Love their hot pot.(^O^)
(5)Aprile M.
We ate here on a night that it was pouring rain and very cold. There are probably less then10 tables total. The place was not busy. I like that they have a kids menu. I ordered the spring roll and did not care for the sauce or presentation. I ask ordered the pho which wasn't great but not bad. Service was good but food could have better. The restaurant was freezing as well which didn't make our eating experience any better.

YES! finally some good food in TN that is not deep fried (And don't get me wrong, I love me some deep fried food) This is the most authentic pad Thai I've had in a while. GREAT Crab Rangoon a good Pad Thai not the VERY best I've had but def. the BEST I had in TN. Had the drunken noodles those were good as well. I love Spicy food so I got mine level 5 (they have spices on a level of 1 - 5) LOVED it def. has a kick if you don't eat spicy food, I would NOT recommend the 5. I will Def. be a regular Here! oh and I normally hate ginger salad dressing but they have a ginger pineapple that I actually like. and there desserts looked AMAZING and i dont do dessert because they usually involve cake and other nasty stuff I dont like. They had a fried banana that I will def be trying but I couldnt even get through 1/3 of my plate because the plate sizes are so big! oh its in a little strip mall so I didn't expect much, but you get inside and they have nice plates and stuff so it feels like they're really trying to step it up and its appreciated there is nothing worst then paying good money for food and getting it on a 10 cent plate :) LOL
(4)Julie L.
Best Thai in town! Love this place and great people own it as well! They brought a free buffet of food to MTSU's Culture Fest back in November 2010 and it was a hit! Everyone gave rave reviews for the food and there were hundreds of people in attendance. AND they were sooo awesome bringing multiple deliveries of food so that everyone got to try their cuisine. Wish I could give them 10 stars!
(5)Robert S.
Yeah!! The owners of this restaurant sold their old restaurant near Nashville and built a new one in my city! I am so excited, I've been going there 2-3 times a week and even more sometimes! These guys have the best Thai food in the area. Their soups are spot-on as far as spices and authentic flavorings, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and Yum Nea are all top notch. They ordered all new flatware and interior decorations straight from Thailand and it definitely adds to the cool, calm interior of the restaurant. Then you can calmly set your mouth on fire with the food! I am going there right now, see you there!
(4)Ashley T.
tiny little restaurant but the best actual pad thai i've had in murfreesboro. not my favorite curry in town, but better than most. try the fresh spring rolls with the delicious peanut dipping sauce. ask for a frequent diner card for discounts and freebies. go to the restrooms because there is a black light in the back. doesn't make sense, but i dig it.
(4)Nina X.
Very delicious, authentic thai food! The noodle dishes are my favorite! The wings come in second place!
(5)Jeremy B.
This is one of best Thai restaurants in the area. It's a cozy place on the end of a small strip mall. So it can be easy to miss. They have several different style noodle, stir fry, and currie dishes available in both lunch and dinner portions. They even have some Chinese food style dishes. Though why bother when there are so many other good dishes. I recommend spicy mayo shrimp for an appetizer. (Think bang bang shrimp from Bone Fish but so much better). For entrees I recommend the Spicy Basil, Pad Thai, and Sea Monster. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They do a frequent diner punch card that rewards you every couple punches. Be aware that they do not have free refills on their soft drinks. The restaurant is so small that they don't have room for a soda dispenser. So all the soda comes in cans. I hate to deduct a start for this point, because the food is so good. Just be aware. (One of the frequent diner rewards is a free can of soda.)
(5)Blair S.
I jumped on the Yelp app to see what was nearby and open for a late lunch. Pad Thai sounded like good comfort food for a rainy day, and it really hit the spot. We shared a seafood salad and loved the flavors. My pad see ew had fresh, authentic ingredients. The sushi I tried was just OK, so I recommend you come for the Thai food. Service was good and prices were OK.

We're new to Murfreesboro - from Southern California and miss the variety of choices that we had in So. Cal. when it comes to good food. We tried few Asian restaurants in the area and were pretty disappointed until we found out abut Pad Thai through the Groupon offer they had and boy we are happy we did! The food is very very good, the service is super friendly and the place has a nice feeling about it. We have gone back there already and the service was great and the quality of the food remains consistent - great! If you like Thai food and live in the Murfreesboro area you have to try this place!
(5)K H.
The first time we went there it was so busy that there was a forty minute wait. That was a good sign to me. We went elsewhere but we were determined to go back. We ended up back there for lunch and were seated immediately and then the pace came to a crawl. We waited for our drink order to be taken and then longer for our food order and the longest wait was for the check. Lunch should not take well over an hour. We ordered curry soup (level 2) and chicken pad thai (level 1). The soup was okay for one of us but way past burn for me. The pad thai was hotter than the soup and not something that either of us liked or would want to repeat. The servers were very friendly and on their game, so I am left to believe that the kitchen was the issue. The atmosphere was a strange mix of black lights and country music and Asian décor. The dining area was tiny, but clean. I will probably give this place one more try because it is close to us and so well recommended, but I will hold it up to the light of the Thai Spice on N.Rutherford, The Boro. They have been consistently on top of the Thai food game for me.
(3)Candice M.
Was not impressed at all...
(2)Chris G.
Hands down best Thai food in Murfreesboro! Maybe the world! Christian recommended the Phanaeng and it was unbelievable.
(5)Tim W.
Food tasted great, staff was nice, small eat area. Not much to lool at from the outside but would recommend.
(4)J L.
The wife and I ate an early lunch here today. The place is small but the staff is great and the food is spectacular. I'd drive :45 again just to eat here! I highly recommend the red curry.
(5)Mike K.
This place has a nice quaint strip mall location(really). The outside isn't much BUT, I bought a Groupon which brought me inside and the food was very good. I have been back a couple of times and will continue to return. We've tried four different dishes and they were all fantastic. The one item we get every time is the Crab Won ton appetizers which are the freshest and best tasting in the area. Their stirfry's and noodles dishes are great. I'll probably go crazy next time and try a large bowl of soup!
(5)Steve C.
I think this place just changed hands, or so it seemed from the conversations I overheard. This is the best Thai I've had in the area. They prepared the food to my liking (extra spicy!) and the ingredients were fresh. The chef delivered the meal, personally, and came back to ask how everything tasted. The server was very sweet and attentive.
(4)Hannah C.
Best Thai in the Boro or anywhere in Midd Tenn for that matter. Tiny but great atmosphere and tastefully decorated. Fresh, traditional and with great service.
(5)Wesley W.
Terribly rude people! We stopped by there sometime back and got put on the crummy half / table, half booth way in the back - with not a soul in the place. We were very early and would have been long gone before any sort of "rush." That time the food was "okay," that's about it. We let time pass and decided to try it again yesterday. We got there just as a large party was leaving. Waited and waited to be seated - finally some guy said, "just take a seat anywhere." We went nearly to the back and took our seats in a booth. (note: the very back booth was dirty from the large party that just left, and some pushed together tables were still dirty from an earlier party. As we took our seats in the booth, this girl comes back and runs us out of the booth to a small side table so she could seat a party of four. Remember - the booth, and the pushed together tables are still dirty. I was furious, as well as embarrassed. We stormed out. The place is way too small, way - way - under staffed, and the one time we had food there it was only mediocre. Drive to Nashville, go to the Smiling Elephant, get really GOOD Thai food served by very nice people and be happy. You're sure not going to find that here.
(1)Elizabeth D.
Our favorite Asian restaurant in Murfreesboro. The dishes are always fresh and they will change things to order. The servers have become like family to us and our kids ask for Pad Thai more than we can afford. Lol
(5)Kimmi D.
I actually thought I was placing my to-go order from another Thai restaurant. I had wanted to try one that boasts THEY have the best Pad Thai in town. So, I was a little bummed. But once I got there I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty nice, and the young lady at the register was very polite. She even apologized for the mix up and I told her "OH it's not your fault, it's MINE!" I definitely want to go back and dine in. It looked really inviting. (even thought a little small) The Pad Thai was very good. A lot more moist than the Thai place we usually go to. It was a little spicy, which I usually don't like, but it was right, it just gave it a little bit of flavor. My mouth is only slightly burning after eating it about 15 minutes ago. lol I also had the Thai rice with chicken. I LOVED it!!! It was REALLY moist. Had great flavor, so much of both I couldn't finish it all. Can you say "THAI LUNCH" for tomorrow!!??? ;o) I will for sure go back!!!
(4)Aj V.
Great cozy restaurant. Got to chatting with Amy and Tommy who took over this establishment and were really impressed with their hospitality. Food is excellent too, fresh fare, good quantity, clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. I travel for a living dining at many great restaurants all over the country. Was here from Chicago for a wedding and was really pleased to have found this gem which was light on the pocket too! Tried their Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Panang Curry, and Spicy Basil Fried Rice which were all very tasty.
(5)Tanya M.
Great thai food here! And good service.
(4)dave g.
My wife and I have eaten here 5 or 6 times and every time we are very happy with the food. We ordered the Thai dynamite a few days ago and we are already planning are next trip to get some more!
