I absolutely love this place! If you're looking for a place that is fast and delicious, Koji is perfect! The fact that the food comes out fast might scare some people, but the food is fresh and the vegetables are cooked great! The sauce is also very good.

This place is great! Tons of food for a really great price, and the food is really well cooked for the speed at which it comes out! I've had the steak and the veggie entrées and both were really fantastic. The sauce that comes with it is amazing, as well! I've never been able to finish a whole serving of their food, it's always enough for two meals for me!

I was craving Asian food for lunch so I was reading the reviews on yelp and decided to give this place a try. You can either drive thru or go inside and order and eat there. The concept at this place is fairly new to me, I'm from CA and have never really seen a place like this. I'm use to places like Benihana's were you sit down and they cook everything for you. This place is a faster version of it. They have a good selection of plates and pictures for you to see if you can't really decide. I'm a visual person, so I was happy to see the pictures on the menu above the cashier. Their menu is very simple, so it made it a lot easier to choose. - Hibachi steak and chicken served with rice and mixed vegetables - the steak and chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavor was absolutely great. They had a side of ginger lemon type of sauce and it added a really good flavor to the dish. I used that sauce to dip my vegetables in. The onions, zucchini, mushrooms and broccoli was cooked perfectly. I'm usually not a fan of carrots, but they added these carrots on the side that was something that I have never tasted before. The carrots were so sweet and tender and I could have eaten that as my dessert. Overall I like this concept, it's quick service and good food. It looks like family owned so their hospitality is impeccable. Thanks Koji, I'm a big fan! I will come back to visit again when I'm in town.

Last night we really wanted hibachi and the place closest to our house doesn't offer a veggie option... I looked on here and found Koji. They not only have a vegetarian selection, but also offer quick drive-thru service & a MTSU student discount! The $5.45 vegetable entree comes with broccoli, onions, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and sweet carrots, which is way more veggies than our favorite hibachi place back home offers without an additional charge. It also comes with fried rice and 4oz shrimp sauce. Overall, I have to agree with another reviewer who mentioned the flavor being a little bland. I added soy sauce and the shrimp sauce and that helped, but it still needed something. But for the value, amount of food you get, and the fact that it was one seasoning away from tasting pretty darn close to my favorite hibachi back in east Tn, we will definitely be back!

This is a fast food hibachi. It is amazing as you order the cashier tells cook your order and right there. The helpings are huge . I get the same thing every time, chicken and shrimp with broccoli no mushrooms and it comes with rice and a pile of sweet carrots. It's the best thing every time I go murfressboro I must come here. Love it.

Amazing shrimp sauce!!!!! So good I would eat a dirty old boot if it was covered in their shrimp sauce! They make all 3 sauces from scratch! Friendly staff too! 10,000,000/5 stars

Omffgg.. great food good price. Teriyaki sauce is on point. Not to over powering. And the orange dipping sauce is great with the chicken teriyaki. The steak sucks but the veggies on the side are delicious. The carrots are soft and sweet as if they are marinated in a honey or something. Good sized portions. Good customer service.

Aha, a new quick-service asian restaurant opened up on my side of town in the old Church's Chicken building. There were two tiers of plates, single-item (shrimp, chicken, beef etc) and combo items (shrimp/beef, scallop/beef etc). Both plates also come with flavorful rice and a vegetable (tonite it was sweet carrots). Prices ranged from just over $5 to $10 for the single meat dishes and $8-$14 for the double meat dishes. Kim, our cashier, was super nice and chatted with us as we finished our meal. Everyone seemed very friendly and I will be back to try some other combinations. The portions were generous and I felt like it was worth the increased price over typical fast food because of the serving size and the higher quality of the food.

The amount of food you receive for the price is good. The drive through is pretty fast. The food is prepared well and the meat is nice and juicy. However, the food is bland. Even with soy sauce and shrimp sauce it was just lacking flavor. A lot of my co workers love this place....So I might give it one more try.

I'm a fan of this place because it reminds me a lot of a Japanese place we had in Johnson City, near where I grew up. It's no frills hibachi at an affordable price. For lunch today we got two separate entrees for around $14 with my MTSU id. I love the teriyaki chicken and my mom enjoys their shrimp and carrots. It's usually a very short wait and the entrée is big enough for two decent meals for myself. Only bad thing is they are closed on Sunday's and I always end up craving them on that day! lol.

Great place for a quick meal to take home for the family! It is a healthier option than running thru the drive thru of the typical fast food chain! I do wish they offered soup and salad! The food is good, prices fair and serving sizes generous.

I liked it ok. It is fast and convenient and has friendly service. I did NOT like the strange carrots on the side so get zucchini and onions instead. It is relatively inexpensive too. For more authentic Japanese food go to AYA just down the street but be warned AYA is NOT fast nor inexpensive. But very good !

If you are familiar with Typhoon of Tokyo in Chattanooga, It's similar but not nearly as good.
