My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch the other day and had a nice meal. They were very busy but actually had plenty of help so we got our food fast. Our sandwiches were tasty and the portions large. My only complaint is that they didn't wipe off the knife when they cut my sandwich as evidenced by the bits of lettuce and mustard where they cut it (obviously from a prior sandwich).

Came here on a Wednesday at lunch. Didn't have to wait long in line. From the outside it looks to be a very small place but it's not . Nice and plenty of room inside. I did have a problem with my order. I asked for a turkey bacon ranch with extra ranch only instead it came loaded with everything. I just scraped all the stuff I didn't want off and the sand which was still great !

No Idea why it took us so long to try Firehouse Subs - we are hooked. They are great. This location is easy to get to and has lots of parking in the back. The place is always busy and the food is usually quick to the table. A great place to eat.

The best subs in the boro always fresh. The club on a sub is excellent however eat it there or within 15 minutes. The sandwiches seem to become very soggy after thirty minutes so they don't travel very well. Several friends had other subs and all stated they were delicious. Much better than subway.

I've been hearing ads for Firehouse for a while now, but since there's none in Cool Springs it took a trip to Murfreesboro to be able to try them out. I tried out the Beef Brisket and Cheese - it's essentially Arby's Beef n' Cheddar, but with higher quality ingredients. As far as fast-food sandwich shops go, I'd easily rank Firehouse above Subway, Quizno's, Lenny's and Jersey Mike's. It's closest contender would be Jimmy Johns, but because they're an entirely different type of sub (Firehouse is a hot-sandwich type place, Jimmy John's is cold-sandwiches) I'd say they are a good compliment to each other. All in all, I really liked the bread, quality of ingredients, and taste. I particularly liked that they have two sizes - a medium and a large sandwich, and that their medium is actually a well portioned amount of food. It's satisfying without feeling like you were short changed. So now I'm left hoping that a Firehouse Subs will open up in Cool Springs to give us another tasty option for sandwiches.

There's not too much I can overly say about a sub place, but I don't think I'll be going to any other sub place in the area again since going to Firehouse. I have never been a big steak and cheese fan, but MAN. This converted me. The other person who went with me got a steak and cheese and I got some turkey sandwich that had mushrooms (which I would've never thought of), and we split our sandwiches and each had half of each. Needless to say, we both finished the steak and cheese first. It is just so delicious. They also have really good brownies and cookies there. Like I said, I used to be all about going to other sub shops, and I might still hit up Jersey Mike's just because I love their turkey, but Firehouse is amazing.

Well, the owner emailed me and apologized, and sent me some cards good for free medium sandwiches. I used one, no problem. Today, I placed another order. I made sure to shoose no pickle spear, and in the area for special directions, I entered "No pickle spear!". This time, though, I checked the bag before I left the cashier. Yeah, you guessed it. I've come to believe that my name has been recorded at that store and the people have been directed to make sure they include a pickle spear, just as payback for my audacity in asking for no pickle. I emailed Mark (the owner) and then called him. He was very nice and very apologetic, and asked what he could do to correct my situation. I appreciated it, but there's simply no way that I am going to invest the time, gas and effort to drive over there again. This is four out of seven orders that my request has been ignored. There won't be a fifth. I tossed my cards - no sense getitng my friends frustrated, too.

Total meh-ness. Not my bag. Three stars for efficient service and food coming out quickly. Those are the highlights. Look elsewhere.

Firehouse is my go to sandwich place in the Boro, much better than Subway and Which Wich. Two large sandwiches were around $18 , which is reasonable for the size. I feel like it's better to eat their sandwiches at the store itself. Since a lot of their sandwiches are steamed they can get pretty soggy if you take them to go. My favorite choices are their steak & cheese or the brisket & cheddar. They now offer lighter sandwiches which look pretty tasty. There are also an assortment of sauces towards the end of the counter to try with your sandwich. They have a Coke Freestyle machine, which seem to pop up everywhere now. Overall the food is awesome and the service is always pretty fast, definitely recommend this place to those looking to break free from Subway hell. Haha.
