I tried Fin Fusion because my old favorite is under new ownership & it just isn't the same. I went to Fin Fusion during dinner and the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic dinner, a quiet talk with a friend, or a relaxing meal alone. Very pleasant vibe. Lovely music. Warm welcome & exit. The sushi selection is fantastic and very detailed. I wish the wine list/drink menu was a little better but there was plentiful sake selection. I had the MTSU roll with fried rice. I would recommend and go again.

Great little place in Murfreesboro. Extremely friendly and attentive staff, and some of the best sushi I've had. So far I've had the spicy tuna roll, eel roll, tuna roll, and a few others... They definitely do not skimp on the quantity of fish in the tuna rolls! Giant amounts in the middle, with just enough rice and bits of other stuff to compliment the fish. When I go for lunch they have either 30% off their individual roll prices, or they have a lunch special combo that gives you two rolls, With miso soup or salad. If you do takeout on that one they don't do the soup or salad though, but its like only 7 bucks! The miso soup is pretty good too. There are a few other things on the menu, so if you bring a group and someone does not like fish or sushi, there are alternatives, and I recommend the Bul-go-gi (Korean beef) I have had it from many places, and this one is one of the better ones, with only the stuff my wife makes at home and exception. As far as the location goes, they have several intimate and quiet booths, with very tall backs, seating at the sushi bar stools, and several tables in the middle, usually accommodating larger groups pushed together as necessary. Please give this place a try, as I want to see it stay around for a long time, and not disappear like others I have seen come and go.

Best sushi in the 'boro. Large portions and very fresh. Highly advise going
(5)Shane T.
Best sushi in middle Tennessee..hands down. Everything was fresh, well prepared. A must if you are looking for fresh sushi!
(5)Ek V.
Been here twice and loved it both times. I got the sushi which was very good, miso soup which was good and the salad which was the only thing I could complain about the dressing is not very good. Both times the waiters were very nice. Best sushi I have had in Murfreesboro, besides sumo's which is unfortunately closed now.
(5)Renee M.
I just adore this place! The sushi is incredible and so beautiful when it arrives. Today I had fried oysters which were amazing and a deep fried shrimp roll and the Firecracker Roll. I was stuffed when I left. I come here about once a month but I need to come more often!

Best sushi in Murfreesboro. I've lived less than a mile from this place for over a year and had no clue that it existed. I tried it out for the first time last night and WOW. We ordered 5 rolls. All were very fresh and tasty. We also ordered seaweed salad and Gyoza....again, it was delicious! The service was great too and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Quiet and quaint. I love it so much, I'll be coming back again this week. You MUST come here if you're a sushi-lover in the Boro!!
(5)Julie P.
We've been eating here for years. The sushi is incredible. It is truly as good as any we've had in NYC, Miami, San Francisco and Hawaii.
(5)Leah M.
This place is awesome! Food was fresh and delicious! My husband and I got a few different rolls and nigiri to try and everything was delicious!! For someone who is very picky about her sushi, this place knocked my socks off!
(5)Ashley H.
Fin Fusion is THE BEST sushi in the greater Nashville area. The service is really great, and the sushi is way beyond anything you will get at other establishments. FF is located in a very unassuming strip mall - but upon entering you are transformed into a magical world of hunger satisfying delicacies. Their menu is extensive - so you will always have something new to try. EVERYTHING is good - and I know this because I have never tried anything here that wasn't amazing. My boyfriend would highly recommend the Moonlight Roll but my favorite is the Baked Salmon Roll. Can't go wrong at Fin Fusion!
(5)Brooks K.
Good sushi and not bad prices , it's one of the better places in the boro for Sushi ! You won't go wrong here.
(4)Stina S.
Fin fusion is one of the best sushi restaurant in Murfreesboro! The rolls are fresh and delicious, my fav is the Hawaiian Roll it's fresh and not to saucy... I'm not a big fan of the dragon roll way to much sauce for me, and the moonlight rolls are delish! Give this place a try you won't regret and if you like oysters try their fried oysters it's simply amazing! Service is also wonderful!

From Dallas TX where so many Korean restaurants, I realized there are none in Murfreesboro, TN. So when I read their menu & saw few Korean food on the menu, I was very excited to try. Big thing is I don't have to drive to Nashville to have some when I am craving for Korean food. I read reviews from Yelp & decided to try for today's lunch. I brought a friend who never tried Korean & suggested her to try Bulgogi on the menu. When we got there, this place was packed & we took the last table. You know you are at a good restaurant when they are busy. For lunch Bulgogi, it was little over $10 but thought the price is pretty good. I ordered Hot-stone Bi-bim-bop (rice, different kind of vegis, comes out in a hot stone bowl) Also ordered two rolls combo (Dynamite & crunch shrimp) to share. Bogogi came w/a small portion of Kim-chi which was pretty nice (fresh not old kimchi). I thought Bolgogi sauce was little too sweet, more close to Teriyaki flavor than tradition Korean Bulgogi flavor. Asked if I can have some w/my Bibimbop, he said it's extra $2.99. Well, I never pay extra for Kimchi where they serve Korean food, always comes with it. I can understand them charging extra for a side but since I DID order Korean food, I felt they should include Kim-chi with bibimbop. Overall, my experience was good. I wasn't big fan of the rolls though. Two rolls for $7.95, I guess it would been better just order big rolls & pay few dollars more. We were able to finish it all except I had to "to go" my left over Bibimbop. Service was good & I can say it was very good experience. Would I go back? I can say "Yes I would!" as long as i don't have to go back home any time soon.

The waiter was very nice and helpful/polite served us quick and had food brought out at a reasonable time, but the proportions were small and very expensive and not everything so worth it, I had the corona, the Dragon and a shrimp tempura roll which I thought was chicken at first, very dry and tough as if it Sat and dried out. I had sake,a small beer and a appetizer , For one person my bill including a self imposed tip was $75 dollars, I was a bit stunned at the high price for a few common rolls and appetizer and a couple drinks. I've been to many real Japanese sushi houses and never paid anything like that for one person, maybe for a family but not one person. The other odd thing was a sushi house played 70's funk & soul music exclusively, Marvin Gaye, parliament, funk etc. it would suit another kind of atmosphere but I found it out of place for a Japanese sushi setting. I'm not sure what they were shooting for. Nice people though

This was my second time going to this place. It's okay but we only went (both times) because we wanted sushi and our favorite place was already closed. We ordered the tempura sweet potato appetizer while we looked over the extensive menu. I ordered them the first time we dined here too. We were finished with the sweet potatoes before we finished looking over the menu. For some reason I had forgotten how much sushi was on their menu. We finally decided on 3 rolls (after looking at pictures on yelp): traction, white snake, and big mouth. I don't remember exactly what was in each of them but my husband and I both liked the white snake best. Nothing was spectacular but it was decent sushi. Our server was really friendly and did ask if we had any questions. Maybe next time we will just tell him things we like and have him choose for us.

My favorite place for sushi in the Boro. It's small but quaint, not sure if they could accommodate a huge party. Service is always very friendly and consistent. I got the "Susan" and "T&T" rolls last night which were both awesome! They have a wide selection of different rolls, from veggie to fruit to intricate special rolls. I also shared the pan fried dumplings with my friend and they were very tasty. Overall, I got two rolls and the dumplings for $24, which is very reasonable in my opinion. During lunch they have 30% off all rolls excluding nigiri, can't really beat that! I highly recommend Fin Fusion to anyone looking for good sushi in the Boro, it's far above other restaurants I've been to previously. (See my "cat food sushi" review blah!) And by coming here you support a local family business, huzzah!
(5)Mindy D.
Decor and spring rolls are subpar, but the sushi is 4 star worthy all on its own. Key West roll was amazing.
(4)Jay F.
Went here last night with friends. Had about a 10 to 15 minute wait, not horrible. The place is small but cozy. Service was good. Monster menu of rolls. I had spicy tuna and a lobster roll. Both were excellent, fresh and spicy and flavorful. We all ordered hibachi dinners, mine was scallops and shrimp. Again it was really good. I liked the portion size, not too much so I was able to eat it all. The only complaint was that it took a little long for our rolls to be delivered, but they were busy, so I will not be overly critical about that. I will definitely go back, some of the best sushi in the Nashville area.
(4)Kerry M.
If you love Sushi and you find yourself in Murfreesboro, do yourself a favor and try the Salmon Mania roll in this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the sushi is always fresh and out of this world. The servers are consistently friendly. It wont be the cheapest sushi in town, but it's worth every single penny. Just typing this makes me crave their sushi. They open in half an hour for dinner, so off I go.
(5)Adrianne P.
I do not eat sushi but they won me over. The waitress was so patient and helpful. The restaurant was clean, service was great, and the food was very tasty. I will be back.
(5)Hank H.
My wife and I absolutely love this place. If you don't know what to get the I recommend the MTSU roll. Amazing!
(5)Ashley N.
Outstanding!!! I had heard friends rave about this place for years and finally tried it out. It is hands down the best sushi in the area. So fresh and delicious. My recommendations would be the Tennessee roll, love me roll, and the dragon roll. Oh em gee. Prepare for foodgasm.
(5)Hannah L.
My favorite spot for sushi. Even better that I can get 30% off during lunch, so it's very affordable. I've sampled almost every roll and I have enjoyed them all. I always go back for the Cherry Blossom and Moonlight, though!
(5)Anthony T.
This place is not bad but they are a little slow and there rolls are really small. I didn't think, I know they weren't the best in the area but I wanted to try some place new. The prices are good also but I guess that go alone with the small rolls.
(3)Jimmy H.
Our favorite Asian/sushi place shut down for winter break, so my wife and I decided to try out Fin Fusion. Needless to say, we will not be patronizing this place again. The portion sizes were extremely small for the amount they cost, and the flavor was nothing to write home about. Left hungry. Plus my wife had extremely bad diarrhea afterwards. We recommend Lemongrass, where the portions are plentiful and flavorful.

I'm always looking for a good lunch spot in Murfressboro. This is hard to find in my opinion since I actually live in Nashville where lunch places are abundant. Fin Fusion was recommended by a couple of friends. I was pleasantly surprised. Great sushi & fantastic service plus they have 30% off at lunch!
(4)Meredith W.
My favorite sushi place in murfreesboro! I love the yummy roll. The fried rice is tender and flavorful. You can't go wrong with anything you get here. I highly recommend this place for good food.

I am glad I landed upon this diamond in a rough eating town upon accident. My favorite dining spot closed for winter break, and my boyfriend and I decided to wander into Fin Fusion and give it a try. Now let me preface this review by admitting my complete sushi addiction- I mean I really would eat it all day every day. I have been to Seattle, lived in California, visited Korea, and have had my fair share of sushi tasting. Remember we are in Murfreesboro and this sushi place should be rated according to the fact this is middle Tennessee. If you are walking through those doors expecting ocean side sushi- well I suggest you change your perspective. The staff was absolutely great- minimal conversation and attentive service. I will admit the menu is a little overwhelming, but there is a huge selection for those who aren't as indecisive when confronted with a billion choices. The atmosphere is warm and quaint- perfect for a date night. We had four rolls ($36): Ocean Roll, Spider Roll, Crispy Tuna, and the Tennessee. Overall they were delicious- especially my Ocean Roll. The rolls were tight, neatly presented, and the ingredients were full of flavor. The fish was firm, and the sushi chefs seemed knowledgeable. The price wasn't at all bad considering the amount of food and the ingredients used. I will definitely be back for sushi soon!
(4)Laurel P.
We love this place! If you like a good spicy tuna roll, their "in and out" roll is a great version of this!! I get it every time. Always good service, including take out. Sometimes it takes a little longer on a Friday or Saturday night, but its worth the extra time! Making me hungry just thinking about it. :)
(5)Kathleen B.
I have only been here a few times because I am from out of state. I have gluten allergies (celiac) and they were very helpful and on top of what I could eat and couldn't eat. The service was excellent and fast. Very attentive wait staff. I look forward to coming back next time I'm in Tennessee.
(5)Jeffrey C.
The reviews are good on this restaurant so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. We went for lunch. The sashimi was fresh and good quality. The teriyaki bento box had a nice selection and we were all happy with our food. The service was good even though they were quite busy and it's top of my list for Japanese food in middle TN. I give it 5 stars for TN quality
(5)Kelly T.
We've eaten here twice and both times the sushi has been great. If you prefer a roll they have plenty to choose from. The staff is friendly and unlike some sushi places the food is prepared and served pretty quick.
(4)David F.
Great sushi place. The food was really good. But kinda overpriced. Prop wont go back anytime soon.
(3)Judy M.
Definitely the best in Murfreesboro. The sushi is fresh. The Miso soup and seaweed salad are great. Great atmosphere. Large selection.
(5)Robert S.
Mr Won and Mr Baik, I complement you on your sushi restaurant. I was there (again) tonight and once again, I was impressed by the quality of the sushi, the attention to detail in the dishes, and the kind hospitality of your wait staff. You have all of the basic sushi offerings and also a wide variety of sushi rolls. You have other dishes so that non-sushi eaters can also be sated. You have a variety of seating arrangements, from intimate booths to tables to seats at the sushi bar itself. I like the comfortable atmosphere. It is relaxing and soothing and I have never felt rushed, even on evenings like tonight when you were busy. Polite conversation can be had with the waitresses but solitude and silence is also respected. I understand that one or both of you are Korean, which explains the Korean dishes on your menu. I also like your Korean Bulgogi! Take care my friend and I will see you again.
(5)Robert H.
When you think about the Boro, sushi is probably the last thing that comes mind. This little Japanese gem is a must. They are a small sushi bar with great flavors, fresh fish, and wonderful service. Best in the Boro!!!!!!!
(5)Kristo E.
Best sushi place in Murfreesboro. I like it because it's never packed, but still busy. Nice quiet place to eat without being bothered going to the "IN-CROWD" places that are packed, loud, and expensive.
(5)Brandon P.
Went there last night. The service was friendly, but I had to ask for refills on my coke. The sushi rolls were very thin. They did not have much in them, and were not rolled tight. The sushi fell out of the rice. We ordered three rolls.
(2)Cora F.
This place was fantastic!! We ordered 7 rolls and demolished our plate! The ginger they use is the white kind and that seems to be the common denominator of the great sushi places we love! The wasabi is super fresh. The service was fast for the amount of rolls we ordered! The miso soup we believe was a beef based broth instead of the traditional green/white miso. Different but very tasty! The rice was rolled tight! The spicy tuna def. has a kick! The nigri (albacare) was real fresh. The sweet sauce on the wasabi and the love me roll is yummy. The cream cheese (philly and love me) has a very distinctive but rich taste- not the kind you get from the store! The dynamite roll was very light & tasty! The wasabi roll was very fresh, tasted like a higher quality type of wasabi. The love me roll and in & out rolls were awesome! The service was great- the waiters were very knowledgable on the different types of sushi. There's a total of 120 rolls on their menu! The price is very VERY reasonable for the quality of food! We got out under $70 for 7 rolls, nigiri, two miso soups, a coke and a beer! The seating was kind of akward at first - the table is probably not meant for the booth seating, the table sat low. We are very satisfied and will put this one the top of our Sushi List!
(5)Ken S.
Very easily the best in the Boro. The fish was fresh and the price was well within line of other, lesser sushi places in town. They have a few signature rolls on the menu which are a nice change from the typical menu items you'll see in Middle Tennessee.
(5)P. T. B.
Nice little sushi joint with great service, friendly folks, and good rolls. I like it!
(4)Dale N.
Very innovative place. You can get your traditional sushi fix here, but if you are adventurous, ask the staff for help or suggestions and they are more than happy to accommodate. They have even made rolls with just the ingredients that I love and it was great. Small intimate place in a strip mall. Friend them on Facebook for insight on some of the off menu items.
(4)Will M.
Friendly staff, and great sushi. Recommend the dragon roll, yum yum roll As well as basics spicy tuna, salmon, etc. Bit out of the way, but worth it if you are in the area. Liked the service with a smile, very decent prices and large portions. They also offer korean dishes. Smaller space, didn't enjoy waiting on a sat. Music tends to be new hip hop beats.
(4)Elizabeth D.
Best sushi restaurant in town! Just glad it's in my side if town so I can go more often! Try the cucumber salad, it has crab meat, etc. Love this place and the staff!
(5)Rose W.
Fresh stringy yellowtail, average green tea, miso soup and salad will leave u thinking, why bother. Ginger tasted like old fish. Then they bring my credit card receipt which lists my card number. Pretty sure that's not legal guys. I love good sushi and I can not call what I had today - good. I will not return. The waiters and chef were nice enough but I couldn't stomach another trip.
(2)Chris B.
Yum, yum, yum! I'm so happy they can make such beautiful food that also tastes so good!! We have only had the sushi here, but on many occasions. It has always been very fresh and they don't skimp on the portions. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a must for sushi lovers!!
