Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

First order of business upon moving to a new place is finding a good Chinese take-out spot (read: NOT Panda Express!). China Express is not only my favorite Chinese take-out spot in Murfreesboro, it is among the best Chinese take-out I've ever had. My top spot is always reserved for New Hong Kong in Jackson, Tennessee, my go-to Chinese in college, which is sadly no longer in business. However, China Express is a very, very, very close second (and would probably be first if not for all the memories I have of enjoying New Hong Kong with my husband back in our dating days). I vacillate between General Tso's and Chicken & Broccoli; my husband likes Sweet & Sour Chicken. Everything we've eaten here has been delicious. As other reviewers have mentioned, what sets this take-out place apart from others is the freshness of the food. Try this place; you won't regret it.

Great place to pick up some good Chinese food. We are able to call in a pick up within a few minutes. The service is great and very quick.

I've been in the area for about a year and a half and am now regretting not trying this place sooner! I usually base my decision to try new food places on reviews and since this one didn't have many, I didn't. So I'm writing one! I've been driving across town for months for what I thought was the best Chinese food and tonight that place was out of rice (of all things right?). There are 2 closer to me and I know the other one (China garden) is not all that great. So I came to China express. The pork fried rice was awesome! I loved it, my picky fiance loved it and my pickier 4 year old ate his first and second serving! The egg roll was the best I've had in years, possibly ever! And I've tried a lot of different places in Murfreesboro, Nashville, spring hill and beyond! I had the general tso's and it was yummy too. No more driving across town for me! China express will be our new go to! Which is convenient because jets down the sidewalk is our go to pizza :-)

I love this place. I used to cook in a Chinese restaurant in Cincinnati along side some highly rated Chinese born chefs from Hong Kong and Canton so let me tell you these guys know what they are doing. We've gotten over a dozen orders from them since they opened and the food is ALWAYS fresh and consistent from portions to flavoring right down to the size of the meat and veg cut sizes. I've been there on busy days and slow days and always consistent service, meals and cleanliness. This is an Americanized menu so don't expect authentic cuisine but do expect consistency on every level. I'll give them the 5th star for a bowl of authentic octopus soup (which I am sure they could do.) Seriously though, I reserve my 5 star for non carry-out type place, but this crew deserves a 5 star compared to any other local carry out. Keep up the great work China Express.

I tried this place tonight. It is nothing special, but pretty decent Chinese food. Then boneless spare ribs were good. General Tso chicken is usually a favorite of mine. This was just average.

This restaurant just opened and it is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. The ingredients tasted fresher than any food I have gotten from any restaurant in recent years. I mean seriously. They just opened and they were packed with people waiting for take-out on the Friday night that I went in. The restaurant is family owned and the owners were working very hard to get all the orders made and out the door. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it! I think they will get used to the flow and things will run more smoothly as they get some experience under their belts. Definitely reasonably priced and I will be returning very soon.
