High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. Food was good...service was TOO nice, and poor (almost like they were insecure). I like Applebee's, but probably won't go to THIS location again.

Tried out this location of Applebees. Sunday afternoon, sat outside and ordered the riblets. I love the riblets and the service was good, not great, just good. I will keep this on my go to list.

I've never had a problem here. I think the service is decent. They did some renovations a while back, but since then, the place is nice. Lunch time is a good time to eat there.

Took my wife to lunch today. Our first choice was closed so we settled for Applebee's. We walked in the door to a nearly empty restaurant at 1pm on a Thursday. After a 5 minute wait with no hostess we decided to help ourselves to the menus hanging on the counter. Soon a clueless manager approached asking if we'd been served. My inner smart-ass wanted to say, "Yes. We just love the way the carpet feels under our shoes." But I opted for, "no we haven't been served." He grabbed two more menus (we each had one in our hands) and proceeded to walk us to a table. My wife pointed out to him that we had menus. After my wife and I had set our belongings on the table is when we noticed the beat up old table was wet from being freshly wiped. So out of all the tables in a nearly empty restaurant this guy seats us at a wet table. Several minutes later our server approached. We ordered off the lunch menu and quite a while after that we finally received our food. My sandwich was about an inch wide and 3 inches long along with the Chicken Tortilla soup. Pretty sad looking. I could've gotten waaaaaay bigger portions from any restaurant in this town for $9!!! I will never spend money in this Applebee's ever again. The only reason I'm giving one star is because our waitress was nice.

Worst experience I have had at an Applebee's. My family and I decided to stop in for Sunday lunch. We arrived at 11:55am, got seated, and looked over the menu. After 11 minutes of being ignored by several servers, we started wondering If we were going to receive service. My wife, being the patient one, said, just calm down, we will get service. After the 20 minute mark, she said, ok, do you want to go someplace else? I, of course, said yes. We live close to this Applebee's but will not be returning.

Don't not go because of the reviews... Usually I won't go if it has low reviews but my fiancé insisted we go because he loves Applebee's.. We went around 4pm and it was DELICIOUS. The service was great and management is friendly! We got the all day brunch burgers and they were amazing. Try it out

I'm giving this place 2 stars because the ready time for Togo food is super quick. But every time we've been here, which is 3 times now I think, we had an awful experience. The last time we went there it took us 15 mins to be greeted and sat, and another 15 mins before our server approached the table. He was unprofessional and didn't forget to mention what a "f&@:ing s*^%y" night it had been. That went well. Last weekend we ordered takeout. It was my anniversary and I just wanted to get home. I placed my order at 7:11 and was told it would be ready by 7:25. We arrived on time and it was ready. I try to make my orders simple because I'm needy. By that I mean that I NEED them to be made as I order them. I ordered a Quesadilla Burger with no pico and some spinach dip. I got home ate the dip and saved the burger for later. Later it was covered In pico and I couldn't eat it. I know it's my fault for not checking my food, but maybe if they stretched that super short wait time on Togo orders and made sure the order was correct, I'd give them more stars. I don't mind waiting longer for better food.

We usually come here at least once a week and have always had a great experience, however, this time around was absolutely terrible. First, it took about 25 min for us to even get our drinks, not to mention, mine was forgotten and wasn't brought out for another 15 min (I ordered a water). My husband had also ordered an appetizer which was not brought out. When he asked our waitress about it, she did not appologize or take accountability for the mistake, yet said she thought he wanted it with his meal. Once we FINALLY got our food after waiting almost 45min, the cheese dip was cold. Our waitress did take it to the back to heat it up which made us have a little more faith that our experience would be better from then on. Boy were we wrong! After receiving our checks, our cards were laying with the checks at the end of the table for another 20 min. I FINALLY got up out of my chair and took it to the manager and had her take care of it. Not only was the service terrible, but the two managers working did not seem to have a care in the world what was going on. They were both standing by the bar talking for the majority of our visit. Myself working in management, I make an effort to talk to every customer who comes into the door to make sure they are doing ok. We didn't even get acknowledged; not even eye contact. We are very disappointed and won't be back anytime soon!

Literally just left this "restaurant", and am now eating at the Chinese buffet down the road. I was immediately seated, and ordered my drink. The waitress brought the drinks to the table without a word. Then, everyone decided their order. We sat there for a good 20 minutes, and never saw our waitress. The store was not busy at all, maybe 6 or 7 tables. Several waitresses were standing near the bar area talking. I dramatically looked in their direction, and even caught thier eye. They continued thier conversation. I put on mu jacket and left. Will not go back either..

The same thing happened recently when we went to Applebee's. Again today we were seated then totally ignored until we walked out after 15 minutes. 3 waiters walked right past us without a word. Won't be back.

I live right across the street from this Applebee's and I love it! I go there quite often and always receive great service! My only negative experience was on Veterans Day and that was because it was abnormally busy!

I attempted to eat here on Sunday, June 8, 2014. The steak I ordered came out cold and rare when I ordered it medium well, the vegetables were cold, old and soggy and the salad was wilted with about a pound of cheese on it. Not to mention the salad and the food came out at the same time. I sat around waiting for someone to ask me how my food was so I could ask them to fix it but they never came by my table so I just left it all sitting there for them to eat. I've never had a worse experience at an Applebee's which is saying a lot. I really think they need to fire the cook on duty for tonight because I won't be back due to him/her. Applebee's has consistently disappointed me more and more over the last few years. I think it's time to stop giving it chances.
