In search for a place to meet my straight-off-the-plane BFF from Seattle, who was en route to her parents house East of Nashville, we (somehow) ended up at this Corner Pub. The very first thing I noticed was the lighting. While not horribly bright, it was florescent-like light and very off putting for a pub. It reminded me of an old church fellowship hall. The murals on the wall didn't particularly help either - although it WAS lake themed, so at least it coincides with the name. Our server was very prompt and friendly, providing good service throughout our stay. I was famished and knew I couldn't wait to get back into town to eat. So I ordered up a chesseburger with fries, and was surprised it was decent. I certainly don't plan to return, but in a pinch in Mount Juliet, Corner Pub would do.

My wife and I ate here when it first opened. The service was ok, and the food was average. Being as they had first opened we tried them again later. I ordered the burger and was forced into get those hideous chips. The ones that are over cooked in grease and taste like nothing but burnt potatoes. If you order the fries you get charged extra and still get the chips. The burger was good, very tasty.

I've enjoyed virtually every single meal I've ordered here. Love the salads, grilled chicken sandwich, burgers, and the buns they come on. Salad dressings all made in-house and you can tell. Fresh brewed iced tea, a must. But did try the catfish po boy one day and was very disappointed, it was a bread sandwich. Won't be getting that again. Little disappointed one day I ordered fries instead of the chips that came with my sandwich. The waiter said there was an upcharge, which I expected, but when check came was charged full price for the fries rather than an upcharge. Not a huge deal, but brings ethics into the mix now. Little things like that will make me go on to the next restaurant in mind where I know I can get great food too without feeling ripped off. Regardless the food here is always great, service has been very good as well. Better sitting at the bar area then a regular dining table. Will be back.Just get your pricing consistent on upcharges.

Maybe I've become way to picky about what restaurants I will spend my money at, but eating here was a mistake I'll only make once. Not only did it take the better part of 30 mins to get my turkey Ruben, but the food was God awful. Calling it a Ruben is a stretch. The sandwich was clearly thrown together and had more sauce than turkey... In fact only one half of the sandwich was even eatable. The side order of veggies was elementary cafeteria grade and cold as well. I must say, I am usually very weary of eating anywhere with the word "Pub" in the name, but we had to eat here for a kids event. So in closing, if you are looking for a sub par restaurant that serves greasy bar food... Look no further.

Im with the other yelpers. This place confuses me. Is it a bar? Is it a restaurant? If it is a bar, they should turn up there sports games. If it is a restaurant, honestly... the food is bar food. Maybe I'm just not trying the right things. I hate to say bad things about this place because I want to like it. They have great specials and my family likes it. They meatloaf was great. I guess I should stick to that.. Okay get ready.. I'm putting it all out there... but i think a good review deserves full honestly. *gasp* after eating here, I can't go 20 minutes without having to run across the street to Kroger's bathroom. This doesn't happen to me but it's the usual when I eat here. This is where my boyfriend and I broke boundaries and shared a box gas-x. :| Thank you Corner Pub.

The food is ok but a little over priced for the area. Good for sporting events. The parking lot is not very big on busy nights, so you might have to park in the Kroger parking lot. For the money I would much rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings or Johnathans sports bar.

We were there on the day they don't make the bread. That's a weird thing for a place to have, but they still at least had bread for buns and sandwiches. I guess it's just that they didn't have normal rolls. I ordered the King burger and was not disappointed. I didn't find the Magic Chips to be all that magical, but I think they involve Sweet Potatoes, and I'm not a fan of Sweet Potato fries or chips. While I wouldn't say this was the best place to get a burger, it was an overall good experience and I would certainly come back if I was in the area.

Corner Pub Between the Lakes is very similar to the other Corner Pubs I frequent. They actually have way better chicken nachos as this location. Chicken chunks are a must which is bone wings Nashville hot chicken. The location is wide open. It does have more of a family vibe than the others since this is the suburbs.

Ultimately: Meh. We tried several things to get a good feel. The service was ok, not great, not terrible. The ambiance is good for what it is, a "pub". We tried the nachos. They were well prepared and fresh, but lacked seasoning and an identifying taste. My wife's chili was good. I would recommend the chicken chunks, spicy and tasty. The reason for the mediocre rating is the lack of flavor on the nachos and one more thing. We ordered a Glass of bourbon, and received a sad small shot. We even called this out to the server and were still charged a premium price for barely any liquor in the glass. Ultimately nothing we'd return for.

Came here on one of the ICE days we had recently, and was the only place even open in the area. Now understandable was the fact that the wait staff was stretched thin due to many patrons and few people to help, but it was still good service and food. The wing appetizers were awesome, albeit a bit spicy for a wuss like me! Fried pickles were good and sour! Had a solid sandwich with fries and my wife had sliders. Now my meal was fine, just what I was expecting, but my wife didn't enjoy hers as much. As I am reviewing based off of my experience it still gets 4 stars!

My boyfriend and I decided to stop by here after we were down the street at the Mt Juliet Beer Company on Friday night. There wasn't a whole lot open in the area, so our choices were pretty limited. It was almost 9:00 by the time we got there, so it wasn't too terribly busy and were seated right away. I opted for the Fish and Chips and my boyfriend got the Blue Cheeseburger. He said it was alright, but nothing special. The fish I got was literally like five nuggets of fish with kind of a soggy breading. Fries were ok, but nothing special again. The service left a lot to be desired. The waitress we had was literally sitting with another table and talking to them the entire time we were there. She stopped by once to check on us after we got our food, but that's it. Someone else brought us our drinks and food. Not really a place I would like to frequent again. Mediocre food can be made a little better with good service, but that was basically nonexistent as well. Can't say that I would ever come back here again, unless I had zero other options.

Pretty good place. Never real busy. I come here when I am in town visiting. Really close to where I stay. I must say the best thing about the place is the bartender named Kayla. Maybe not the greatest bartender but she is gorgeous.

I am not sure I've ever written a review a for sport's bar before but figured I would spend a few minutes and write one since it was my first visit. My wife and I watched the UT football game here on Saturday 9/3. This was one of the few sports bars in town that was playing the game since it was on pay per view. It made the cut for us since there is no smoking inside. Some of the others sports bars we looked at were 21 and up bars that permitted smoking inside and we will not visit those types of establishments. The restaurant itself has a pretty good set up with plenty of large screens TVs including a private room with a gigantic screen in it. The have several (10+) beers on tap. Only negative with their beer selection is that most are mainstream mass produced beers with only a couple craft beers. One other negative was that there were several kids running around. Their website advertises that they are a full service family restaurant so this didn't come as a surprise but it is something I would think about when considering the type of environment you would like to experience when watching a sporting event. I imagine there were probably more kids than normal since the UT game was only available on pay per view this weekend. The service was pretty good. Our server was checking on us constantly even though we didn't order food for a couple hours after we arrived. Food quality was pretty decent also. I had the chicken quesadilla while my wife had a cheeseburger which was very tasty. They were able to honor her request by cooking it as rare as possible which isn't always the case. They even have free wi-fi which worked pretty good for the most part. My wife used it to work on a project on her laptop before the game started. In all I would say it is a pretty good place to watch a game. I would say it is worth checking out and plan on considering it again if I need a place to watch a UT pay per view football game.

My family and I have been here at least 20 times and we continue to love it! There is a good diverse menu and multiple things that I enjoy getting. Never disappointed when we come here.

OK, was real excited when this place decided to move out here to Mt. Juliet. I have been several times for lunch and dinner. Service is mostly OK. I agree with other reviewers: they are trying to appeal to a wide variety of people, which most of the time isn't good. Are you a sports bar, family restaurant, pub, or ??? Too many kiddies running around in my opinion-NOT a pub or bar unfortunately for me. Interior lighting is awful at night. TV selection/programming good. Food is great from the meat and 3, to the apps. Fairly stocked bar. The smoked wings are to die for. Tuesday night trivia is fun. And finally, as another reviewer stated....yes, stop serving draft beer in jars. Let's have pint or Pilsner glasses, please.

Pretty good food, nice people, service good. They are kind of expensive for what they are serving. What we found really strange is that they don't have hushpuppies with their catfish, they don't have them at all. I think they have the ability to improve in time. But we'd never go back when a major sports game was on.

Ok, Ive been here a few times and the service, food and management is always great and I will go back! The main reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is, I dont quite get what they're going for. I go there to watch some games I cant get at home, and they always have them on. But they never turn them up! One night I was there for a late game, there was only 5 other people there and they were there for the game too, but the management still wouldn't turn up the game! If your going to market yourself as a sports bar, then turn up the games that people are there for. If you want to be a family restaurant with TVs then don't market yourself as a sports bar.

Great food, great value, good friendly service. Always enjoy The Pub.

The Corner Pub is the best sports bar in town! In fact, it is a good restaurant too & the kids can feel at home as the bar is pretty separated from the dining room. Having been here several times I find the service is always helpful and friendly. The food is quite good - burgers are awesome. One time we requested a station to watch a game and they fixed it up - very accomodating. My son-in-law came here from Nashville one Sunday to watch his native Denver Broncos as it was the only place in city that carried that game - he is a fan of the Corner Pub too! My only real criticism is the beer jars. Beer should not be served in mason jars. Tea comes in mason jars at Cracker Barrel. Beer should be served in a beer glass -especially in a Pub - there I said it. Beers jars not withstanding I recommend The Corner Pub anytime - you will love the food and the folks are great - I hope your team wins.

My husband and Ibhad never heard of this place before. We got a coupon in the mail so we decided to give it a try. The place is very clean, the bathroom was spotless. It's casual, typical pub environment with sport events on the screen. But is not loud, it's very family friendly. We were hesitant about going with our 8 month old baby but there were plenty of kids, it was perfect. The beers were perfect cold, I had the fried chicken with creamy corn and mashed potatoes. It was good. My husband had a burger and he says it was one of the best burgers he's had in his life. So that's what I'll have next time we go! Service was good and fast. We had overall a great experience

An old standby for us. It is what it is and it's usually good. My only complaint is that they redid the menu about a year ago and got rid of a few things we really liked. They used to have specials and soups of the day, but I don't think they do that anymore. The smoked chicken and rice soup and the beer cheese soup were delicious, but they never serve that anymore. Bring back the special soups!! Sincerely, a Regular.

Went here tonight for the first time. Had a really good meal. It is pub food, so I had the French dip sandwich which was excellent. The meat was flavorful and the au jus was great. My friend both had the Reuben sandwich made with a dark swirl rye bread. They both thought it was great. The only downer was that the beer is no longer served in mason jars -oh well, can't have everything. Definitely will go back here again.
