If you've never been to Pal's you have to got to eat here. It's a drive through only restaurant but they have spaces for you eat in your car. The Big Pal has to be the best hamburger I've ever eaten and the fries ain't bad either. The sweet tea is great and the chipped ham sandwich is like nothing you've ever eaten before. I'd rather eat here than at any "fast food" drive through anywhere. If they had tables to eat at inside this place could have restaurants all over the world. WOW!

The service at this fast food place is true to the name Paul's Sudden Service. If you see a line of cars around the building don't hesitate to stop in anyway. The line moves very quickly. The food here is always prepared to order. It is always fresh, hot, and delicious. I have never had anything here that I didn't love. The price is very good for what you get.

"The best fast food burger...ever" There are only 4 of these mythical restaurants in the world and they are all located in East Tennessee. This on in Morristown is closest to Knoxville and I have driven the 1.5 hours roun trip just to get a Big Pal with Cheese. These burgers are remarkable; a absolute must try if you notice the giant burger and fries on the side of the building. Pal's is the only fast food chain to win the Presidential Seal of Excellence: that good! The big pal with cheese combined with their devilishly seasoned french fries and a peach sweet tea will send you to a high cholesterol nirvana. I've heard that the average drive thru time is 56 seconds at Pal's, thus the "sudden service". Even if you're a vegan, you owe it to yourself to try one of these burgers before you die.

What can I say, I love Pal's. Discovered it through my ex and hadn't had it in 10 years but here I am in North East Tennessee and that big chicken sandwich and sweet tea are exactly the same and amazing! That's sweet tea, not sweetened, it can stand on its own if you poured it out but wow its good!

Pal's is one of my favorites. The sweet tea is amazing. Hot, fresh burgers and delicious seasoned fries! Don't pass it up. Wish the cheddar rounds were available all day, not just for breakfast.

I. Love. Pal's. When I lived in Washington state for a year, I literally had dreams about eating at Pal's again, and while also kind of sad (really, that's what I dream about?), it points to the ultimate truth, which is that Pal's is awesome. The service at any Pal's is fast, and I mean fast. Even when the line is backed up, I usually don't have time to get my cash ready before I'm suddenly up at the pay window. The staff is very friendly, and the inside is spotlessly clean, from all accounts I've been given. Second: The price. Pal's is cheap, for what you get. I can get a full meal here for under five dollars, and be full by the end, which is rare these days. Third: The food. Lawdy, lawdy, the food. Sure, it isn't healthy (the sheen of lovely grease and twinkle of seasoning salt says otherwise), but who cares? Their Frenchie Fries are flat-out addictive, their burgers are glorious, and even the hot dogs are tasty. Their chicken option, the Big Chicken, is a nice change of pace if you're sick of burgers, with its deli-style cut meat, mustard sauce, and cheese. I've also heard that their cheddar rounds are glorious, but I have yet to try them. Last, but not least: The tea. The sheer size, and price of their iced teas (peachy, razzleberry, and regular, I believe) make them a winner, not to mention the taste. They come in a ridiculously sized Styrofoam cup (that environment thing is on its own, apparently), and cost around 75 cents, if I recall correctly. If you see a Pal's restaurant, no matter where you're at, you can bet that it's good.

Great looking grilled cheese. Yummy French fries!!! Staff is super nice and pretty quick service. It was a wee bit pricey for fast good though.

I can feel my arteries clogging as I write this. Pals has awesome french fries. That would be my reason for going here. Why are they good? Because they're always fresh and hot. They sprinkle them with seasoning salt, which also helps make them extra tasty. For a drive through, fast food joint, this place is quite good. It's also extremely clean inside from what I hear. My only complaint is that I don't eat beef and that's the majority of the menu. There is one chicken option, but it's just deli meat and nothing special and I don't like the cheese that comes on it. The menu is very limited. Their milkshakes are good though, and I come here just for fries and milkshakes. If you like burgers, I hear they are good, but I can't say from first hand experience.

If you want a good burger and fries in Morristown, go to Pals. Pals is always fresh and priced right. This restaurant is always super clean inside and out. The owner takes pride in keeping his place looking nice. The food reflects it!

I came here from the rave reviews, usually sit down at fast food rather than drive thru. It happens that being on the S. side of AJ Hwy and drivers being on the left that it nicely places you on the shady side to pay and collect. Had a Jr. burger w/cheese, it has real tomato and onion and is a good sized sandwich, maybe about the size of a Whopper, so if you normally eat one that size then the Big Pal might be too much. Had a few fries when they were hot and crisp but after they got passed through the back seat they were nothing special. Shake was a typical machine blender product, OK for the price but nothing unique.

I work on Morris Boulevard and usually stop in at Pal's at least once a week. Their burgers, fries, and hot dogs can't be beat. The burgers are always hot and fresh, the cheese melted just right and their fries have seasoning salt on them for that special flavor. It is a drive thru only but you can park and eat in your car. Great food!! If you are a cheeseburger lover, you are definitely going to want to check them out. Oh--one last thing. Pal's is one of the friendliest places in town. I can honestly say I have NEVER been treated rudely or had an order messed up there.

Cheddar potatoes for breakfast are a must. Add Chili to your burger for extra flavor. Shakes are solid. Fries are money. The service is so frickin' nice it's scary.

LIke everyone says, if you've never been to Pal's you have to eat there. The Peachy T, peachy sweet iced tea, is essential. The chipped ham sandwich is a must as well. They use seasoning salt on their fries taking them from pretty standard to pretty tasty. :) When I lived in the area, we used to always get Pals food then go on a picnic.

I will drive an hour north from Maryviile to Morristown for a Big Pal with cheese, Frenchy Fries, and a peachy tea. You should try them, too.
