Don't go to Kevin's place for the ambience. Go for the food. It is really really good. I'm no professional food critic, but I have spent five of the last six years living and eating in Japan and all over the Orient. This place gets it right. Try the calamari starter. Pad thai is excellent. In winter the egg drop soup or the hot and sour will cure what ails you. (Or do what I do, just get a cup of each to start.) Nice service too. Five stars because Kevin and Co. aren't trying to be anything they're not. They're just cranking out delicious meals at very reasonable prices.

REAL oriental cuisine. None of that China #1 crap here. If you want friendly service, really good food and fast service.. Go here. Best kept secret in millington. PLUS they give discounts for teachers, vets and city workers AND deliver if you're in the city limits.

Some serious Oriental grub... lots of variety, from Viet to Thai and some Chinese. The proprietor, Kevin, is a grubby old Army grunt (and I mean that with all sincerity, lots of great d tales to tell). He's married to a sweet gal from Hong Kong. The food is highly authentic and superb quality. The fried calamari is the best I've EVER had! breaded lightly and seasoned with sweet spice and pepper, goes perfectly with the Szechuan sauce. He promises it'll be free if you think its chewy. I had the seafood Tom Yum, just a tad spicy as it should be, big shrimps! definitely didn't disappoint. Only reason its not a 5-star is the dive atmosphere, but don't let it keep you away, go on in and enjoy. Military discount.

Free soup and spring roll on your first visit! My husband and I ordered the miso soup and the egg drop soup, spring rolls, lettuce wraps and sweet and sour chicken which came with fried rice. Our bill was $15! We were very happy about that! We liked everything except the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. The fried rice had a strange taste to it IMO. Maybe the oil they cook it in, I don't know. We will definitely be back!!

PHENOMENAL!!! This is absolutely THE #1 BEST Asian restaurant I have ever been to in my life!! The atmosphere may look unassuming, but the food there is like, UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!! It beats even the Benihana in my opinion! But that's not all--not only is the food FRESH, with no preservatives, no msg, nor any frozen ingredients of any sort, but their prices are low! Like, really low!! You can eat in there and get a five-cup bowl of some of the best soup you have EVER EATEN IN YOUR LIFE for less than FOUR DOLLARS!!! Don't believe be? Look at the menu, or better yet, go inside and try some yourself as soon as you can, because you are missing out on LIFE if you haven't already!!! P.S. If you get soup, order it to eat inside and you will get significantly more. ;)

The food is amazing and always fresh. They offer military discount and the lady who works there is the nicest. Best Asian food in Millington for me right now.

Hands down the best Oriental restaurant I've ever eaten at. The Lo Mein is delicious and extremely fresh! If your looking for a cheap super filling meal, then come here.

Amazing food. Everything is fresh and all sauces are homemade. Great family owned restaurant. We have found our noodle place! So happy to have found this diamond in the rough.

My husband swears by this place! He works in millington and eats here at least 1 time a week. My initial visit was not very good. The second time we had a busy afternoon/evening so we were forced to have a super late dinner. We got there at closing time but they opened the door for us and told us to come in and stay a while. :) the food the second time around was much better. I'd give the food a 3.5 and the service a 5.0!!

A little bit of Chinese a little bit of Vietnamese. Has a large menu to choose from. The owner (former military) and staff are extremely friendly. They offer military discount of 15%. Our first visit today we ordered edamame and hot and sour soup as appetizers. My husband said it was the best hot and sour soup he's ever had. He had Dynamite Shrimp and I had the Phõ.The Phõ had me wishing for more authentic complex broth, I felt it was pretty bland.. We will go back and sample the rest of the menu. The decor is nothing to write about. The prices are compatible with the food.

Food is good, but don't order take-out at dinner time. They quoted me 10 minutes. It took 45 before they finally got my order wrong.

I was skeptical at first because of all of my other experiences in Asian take out places in the surrounding Millington area so far, but was so surprised to see that Oriental Noodle had traditional Asian selections such as Pad Thai and Thai Coconut Curry, But I was initially drawn in by the fact that they had noodles so I had their Hong Kong Chow Fun and it was delicious! It had the amazing wok aroma that is associated with Chinese stir fry meals! What made me more excited was that the chef is not limited to what's on the menu and is up for the challenge if you have a dish that you would like to try (within reason of course). The only reason this received a 4 is because it's not the best looking restaurant but don't let that deter you from trying their great food. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Service is swift and with a smile. Gotta love great service. I do and in my opinion it makes the experience and the food better. The food was tasty. There was a lot of beef and fresh veggies which I like. The gentleman just came by to ask if I wanted a fresh soda 2go. That was very thoughtful don't you think...don't answer it's a rhetorical question LOL! Come by I think you'll find something on the menu you haven't tried. Also beef, chicken and shrimp are the main factors and you have a choice between a variety of sauces and vegetable ingredients. This was the fun part.

Definitely not a fancy restaurant, but very good food, and an extremely mixed menu. The style is "a pretty good percentage of Asian continent," so the menu has Korean, Thai, and Japanese dishes in addition to Chinese. I got the Pad Thai, which was very good. My friend had a noodle soup (sorry, forgot to write down what he got), and raved about it. He took about half of it back to the office for lunch the next day, too. Service consisted of one friendly woman who ran around frantically, keeping drinks filled, taking orders, working the cash register, etc. She kept our drinks full and got our orders out incredibly quickly, though, so evidently she is some sort of super-powered person--maybe the Flash? Not sure.

My first visit with Oriental Noodle was on Memorial Day for a quick lunch to go. I ordered the Thai Basil with chicken and it came with white rice and a spring roll. Despite the generally quiet atmosphere of the city and the restaurant while people were traveling or home with their families, everything was fresh and the spring roll had been cooked in hot oil just as if they had been turning out food all day. I really appreciated the sauce with my entree. Most Chinese restaurants have a standard soy-sauce flavored sauce that seems to come on every entree no matter what you order, but it was easy to tell that the Thai Basil sauce was unique for that particular dish. The mushrooms (fresh, not canned!), sugar peas, and onions really worked well with the Thai basil too. They brought a little bit of savory and a little bit of sweet to the dish. Over all, I enjoyed the experience and it met and then surpassed my expectations for the food. The quality was great, the people were super friendly and made an effort to learn my name and ask about my puppy in the car, and the menu had a pretty wide spectrum of diversity. I expect I will be coming to Oriental Noodle from now on as it is certainly the best Chinese food I have tasted in Millington in awhile.

The old Chinese restaurant was so so, nothing to brag about. But when the new owner took over this restaurant and change the name and the menu, the place actually is a lot better. First: The staff is way better, they are aim to please. Very attentive and you as a customer will be please with the service. Second: The food is ten times better. They serve Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and some other type of Asian delight. The chef/cook does an awesome job especially with the tom yum noodle soup (Thai soup). It was not overpowering with sweetness just a little hint. Mostly all thai restaurant for some reason put way too much sugar on their food which kills the authenticity. I should know because I have been to Thailand too many times and my better half is from Thailand. Korean noodles was hot but not too spicy, just right. The place makes you feel comfortable, prices are way cheap; 25 oz of beer cost $2.50. They also serve wine and as for the menu items are mostly under $10.00. So the food is awesome, adult beverages is cheap, great staff and the place is comfortable. Sounds like a great neighborhood hangout.

The food is fabulous, made to order, very very good. Some of the best chicken fried rice. Pad Thai is yummy as well. Only complaint is not enough table service as far as filling glasses goes, but very very very good food!

This is exactly the type of place I enjoyed when I was in the Air Force. Excellent food, freshly prepared, at a great price, and just a little bit out of the way so once you find it, it's like you found a secret treasure. We will be returning and bringing our friends with us. Highest recommendations.

Finally a noodle shop here in Millington so I don't have to drive to Bartlett or Memphis! They also offer a 10% military discount. My husband and I both had the crab wontons & Shanghai spring rolls for starters and then we ordered the Vietnamese pho, it was great. The service was also very friendly and we even spoke with the owner, Kevin who made a few suggestions on what to try on our next visit! Looking forward to going back and trying more of what they have to offer.

Local owned | Military discount | Delicious! This place is one of my favorite oriental restaurants in the Millington/Memphis area. This place comes with my highest recommendation!
(5)Sara G.
Food was wonderful. Def not the normal greasy Chinese you get in Millington. It was very fresh. The staff was very pleasant and I'm sure the next time I come I'll give it a 5 star. 4 star only cause we tried 3 things off the menu. Need to try more things prior to giving 5

This place uses fresh ingredients and makes everything on site for a flavor extravaganza. I've been working my way around the menu and haven't found anything yet that isn't absolutely incredible. The hospitality is excellent and they are happy to accommodate large groups for lunch. I hope when they upgrade to a bigger place it is still nearby!

Great food at a reasonable price. I know its been said before, but this place is one of Millington's hidden jewels. The Jasmine Tea on a cold day is awesome or with a meal. My favorites are the Pork Pot Stickers, Chinese Noodle Soup, or the Lo Mein. If you are looking for great Asian Food this is the place. No MSG & all the ingredients are fresh.

Good food. No great food. The owners fix the food as you like it - Traditional or fried, if preferred. I've visited three or four times now and always greeted with a smile and how can we serve you. I've had their fried rice with tofu and vegetables, pai thai, and korean spicy chicken. All of the dishes hot and delicious. I will be a return customer.

The worse! Called for a delivery ordered my food, 5 mins later a male called back to take my address, instead of looking it up he's asking me for directions. An hour and a half later he hasn't shown up. I called inquiring, the male gets on the phone saying I'm out side of the city, when I'm clearly not. But he didn't have the courtesy to call and say he wasn't going to deliver. Absolutely rude!

This place was Great the egg drop soup was the best they are fast the only problem was they had no kids plate but they fixed it by splitting the noodle plate and the kids loved the chicken wings.
(5)Gerard C.
Great prices and the food is very good. I have eaten in authentic Chinese restaurants all over the world and this one tastes as authentic.

Customer service is great, some retired army guy. The food was pretty good as well, place hasn't been updated in a while though. It was clean, prices were good and you got a lot of food at a reasonable price.
