Pretty good sushi and nice atmosphere! Plan to go again on my next trip to Memphis.

My normal lunch spot. The staff is friendly and now greets me by name. Great sushi. Several vegetarian rolls. Always has my order ready in 20 minutes, and often sooner. Good atmosphere for dining in.

The sushi here is good. The service here is good. The two for one happy hour saki deal is GREAT... I have to agree with some of the prior reviews in that it was just average as far as sushi spots go, but whadya gonna do? It's Memphis, for goodness sakes.

IF I had never been outside of the midsouth and this was my sushi experience I must admit that I would not be the fan of Japanese food that I am. Fortunately, my career allows me to be in California every few weeks to really experience good to great food venues. Bluefin has a good "vibe"; however, the value you get for price for food is really bad for the sushi. I have never seen sashimi cut as thin as when ordered here. You can literally see through it. Very poor selection of rolls. Crab consists of the imatation crab stick. Much more suited for a cat fish buffet than in my California roll. That said, I still dine here once every five to six weeks for lunch. They introduced a new menu about a month ago. As bad as I would hate to say....I would recommend this resturant for their sandwich or pizza. Tuna melt is really a good sandwich.

I've had my various issues with the Sekisui Co. over the years, but they do usually put out some good sushi. Probably not one of those places you walk out of saying "oh dear god that was fantastic" but then again there are very few sushi bars like that in memphis that would illicit such reflective statements. But as Sushi is probably my favorite food, and could easily eat it 2-3 meals a day, I would be okay making this a regular spot for lunch. I definitely prefer it to the downtown location. But the Cordova location is still some of the best sushi in Memphis, and yes, it's been annexed directly on the line, so its still Memphis ;)

Meh. It's really worth it to spend the extra few dollars to go to Bluefin. They're all owned by the same company, but Bluefin is infinitely fresher and innovative. I don't do sushi very often, but I do like their tempura. A lot.
