The food was great, service was excellent. We almost left since the place was empty figuring out food was bad... Good surprise , everything was perfect, from service to food...

Avoid this location!! Ugh. The past couple times I've been the service has been absolutely dreadful. I never try to write off a place after just one bad experience, especially if it was previously good. But after multiple bad experiences, I'm done with this location. The only reason it gets two stars is because of the food. It's still good food, on par with any other location. It's the service that stinks. It's not unusual to get completely ignored here. Just because I can be sort of left to my own devices thanks to the salad bar doesn't mean I don't need refills, more biscuits, etc. It's such a shame because this location is much closer to me than the other one in town and the inside is nice. But I shouldn't have multiple experiences where I felt completely ignored by my waiter. Not just when they're slammed, it's been a really long time since I've been to one when they're busy. When they're slow I know the waiters are given side work to do, but still. If I don't see you for half an hour, it's clear it's not the side work. If you're in the area and wanna go to Ruby Tuesday, do yourself a favour and go to the one on Winchester instead. You'll be glad you did.

It always seems that this place is either very empty or just empty altogether. The salad bar is usually the bright spot of the dining experience. The food is somewhat sub-par which I think has brought the attendance to this place. It such a sad experience going to this place every now and then.

I was sooo disappointed in the service, AND the food at this location. My visit was terrible from the moment I walked in to the time I left. I usually can deal with either bad food OR bad service, but not both in the same visit! The hostess was overworked, leaving no one to greet guests as we entered the restaurant. Our server was also, therefore the whole staff was inattentive. We ordered shrimp and vegetables, but the food was bland and scrawny. Thank goodness I ordered the salad bar or I would've still been hungry! By the time the bill came, I felt like I was robbed. Will not be returning to this location:(

Where do I start? Being from Knoxville, home of Ruby Tuesday, I have seen them at their best. Living in Memphis I have seen them at their worst. My wife and I loved this Ruby Tuesday when we first moved to Memphis. We came so often the wait staff knew us by name. But slowly things changed: the menu got smaller, (and pricier) the salad bar options dwindled, and the staff began leaving. Now we only eat there once every few months and it takes a coupon for us to even consider going. Tonight we went, coupon in hand, and was treated to a below average meal, which I should have seen coming. The portion sizes are small, barely covering the huge plates they use to serve the food, the waiter, with only two tables, was hardly visible, and the salad bar, once the crown jewel of Ruby Tuesday was barely stocked: all on a Saturday night. Very disappointing. It's such a shame Ruby Tuesday has fallen so far, because we really loved the place. With so many options to eat out Ruby Tuesday has not managed to keep up with the times. Go somewhere else unless you have a coupon, otherwise prepare to be disappointed.

Went here on a Wednesday and even though there were not a lot of people the service was horrible. The server took a long time to take our order and just as long to check on us. We had to run him down to take our order and for water. Do not go to this location.

Working late and starving we stopped in for a quick dinner. Bad mistake. My spaghetti squash was raw and crunchy served without sauce and my husband's steak was small and smothered with cheese. My shrimp were good. Crime ridden area...not comfortable in restaurant....but my husband's office is close. Service was great.

My sister suggested trying Ruby Tuesday on a Friday night and I'm glad we did. There was no wait to get a table, which is unusual for a Friday. The cheese sticks and bread where good, just like any other place. I ordered the Sirloin and it was melt in your mouth good. My daughter had the macaroni, which was super cheesy, which is great, way better than other places that have no flavor. I also liked that you can eat from the salad bar as one of your side items, even your kid at no extra charge. They have $5 drink specials, all day every day. Their Long Island Ice Tea is good and strong just like I like my drinks. Two of those had me giggling. Definitely making this place of my regular spots.

Best sit down chain restaurant in the area. Visited a couple times and was very happy with the service and the food both times.

Pretty good Ruby Tuesdays with quick and efficient service. They could do a better job of keeping the salad bar fully stocked and clean. Not so great.

First time ate here, very pleased. Excellent service, good food. Will come by again. Even though we live close, this is outside of our normal range, but we'll make it back. In a slightly seedy area, but safe.

Ok, first off, I used to work here so bear that in mind when reading this review. I don't think I'm biased, but I probably know more about this place than the average guest. There are two reasons I love Ruby Tuesday: the excellent food, and the vegetarian friendly menu. If you're coming in here at all, it's probably for the Garden Bar, which has a little bit of everything on it and depending whose working, might be sparkling clean or filthy. If it is filthy, do not put up with that crap. Make a big fuss and someone will fix it. People get lazy around here and sometimes the management is too busy with something else to notice. I will say, I know for a fact that it is sanitary. If it's dirty, it isn't because it's germy or scummy, it's just cluttered because people are messy when they make salads. That said, my favorite thing on the menu is the fried mozzarella. I don't know who the supplier is, but these cheese sticks are out of this world. I've never had better, and I've had a lot of cheese sticks. You can also get a pretty mean steak and lobster here--don't doubt the quality. This stuff is about as good as you can get in this price point. This is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever worked in. I've never seen a serious health code violation--I've worked in restaurants where I saw meat thawing on a counter for hours with vegetables they were serving to guests sitting right next to the bloody meat drippings, and this place has no problems like that. The management is a little bit wary with guests because this location is terrible and they get a lot of people in here who pitch a fit to get free food even if nothing is wrong. But there are several servers who kick butt at their jobs and will do everything they can to make sure you have the best possible experience. This location has given up a little bit because the guests can be kind of crappy and a lot of the servers get stiffed on a regular basis for no reason at all. It won't be as snappy and perfect as the ones in better neighborhoods. But this little building has heart, and there isn't one thing on the menu I would not recommend.

My incentive to return to Ruby Tuesday was a gift card. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare with two sides. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to share with my dinner companion. It took forever for the dip to arrive, I meant it as an appetizer not a part of the meal. It was sorely missing salt. When my steak appeared, it was not med rare as I ordered, it was overcooked, dry, tough and lacking seasoning. I sent it back, but it took a while so I ended up taking it home. It was cooked properly, but still not properly seasoned and it has to be a very, very cheap cut of meat and I'm not even sure it was a ribeye. One of my sides was a salad. The salad looked as if it has been there for a while as it was wilted. The ranch dressing was so diluted it didn't taste like ranch and made the salad watery. My dinner companion ordered the spaghetti squash as one of her sides. It had no seasoning whatsoever. She scraped the sauce from her chicken to the squash to give it some taste. I'm sure I will not return as the prices certainly did not meet the quality of the food.

Waitress was very nice to nice but whatever that's how they make tips but then she found out that I'm a teacher then outright rude. Insulting me and my phone I used for the coupon. Do not support this location as they are anti educators.

Ok, it's been awhile since I have dined at this restaurant but I went there tonight with my daughters and i will not go back. The entire menu had changed and the prices were very high. it took us about 15 minutes or more to decide what we wanted and what we could afford. it didnt use to be that difficult. The drink i ordered was mojito water instead of rum. Sorry no can do anymore. The salad bar and dessert was good.

The food is good. The location is good. The place is clean. However, the service is hit or miss. My waitress was friendly but not very attentive. My glass sat empty with no refill twice. Also, $9.00 for a a lunch time salad bar, which does not have soup or dessert items - salad only - is excessive. Our bill for 2 salad bars and two soft drinks was $25.00. That's too high for Memphis.

Food was pretty good at our last visit there, we ordered the Salmon Florentine, which was cooked well, but the service was hit and miss.....Our server didn't seem to catch on to the fact that we had no silverware, we had to get up and procure some from another table. That was okay, we didn't mind that.. But the followup after delivering our entrees was not that great. We didn't receive any more bread, and those little muffins were one of the best things we had. The salad bar was just okay, some items just didn't seem to measure up to other locations of this chain. It was an unremarkable meal, though I have to say the salmon was cooked just right for us, and the sauce that accompanies it is wonderful. I would never choose the salad bar as a side in the future. I will continue to visit Ruby Tuesdays from time to time, we live near many Cheddar's restaurants, and the food at Cheddar's is far superior and less costly.

Ruby Tuesday's is a chain restaurant so it's pretty standard for the chain. This location is nice and clean and one of the better options in the area. The salad bar is always good and the burgers are decent. They also have a Sunday brunch that is good as there are not too many brunch offerings in this area.

Good, familiar food with nice, attentive wait staff. The salad bar is the reason I go to Ruby Tuesday. I can't give it a 5 simply because it's an in-the-box chain, but this is a good restaurant nonetheless.

Went the day after Christmas and waited +40 minutes for a burgers and fries/onion rings. Food at the salad bar was old looking and when the food was delivered, it was cold. We starred at a dirty table from customers that left before we arrived throughout our stay. Management had let most of their staff go earlier in the day because the restaurant was dead so those customers that came in later in the day had to suffer. They may as well as not even been opened
