So tonight my Dad wanted to take the kids to Red Zone Bar and Grill to eat! I never got the chance to experience the one on Winchester, so I was interested to see what the hype was about. We walked into a dinner/bar area, they did have the swing chairs at the bar and plenty of projectors showing sports/music videos. There was an upstairs and patio area, I didn't go out to see it but my family went to explore the new building. There was a "Menu Girl" I hate to say that but that was all she did bring us menus and tell us our server will be with us shortly. Our services was good, there were greats parts and some not so great! Timing of food was great, as soon as we finished our apps the food was right behind. The drinks were great in my opinion. My Dad and I both ordered LIT or Long Island Ice Tea ( what our server called it), he felt it was too sweet but I loved mine. We did have to ask for napkins, ketchup, and salt/pepper, so that kind of made me wonder where the server just new. In all he was a good server. Food was good for a bar/grill, I wasn't expecting 5 star food but it was good! I did love that the chips and fries were made fresh. Not many places make there chips for dips fresh but they did! All staff was very friendly and nice. There was a moment when a customer put his feet on the side of the bar trying to swing in the swings, but management handled him fast. So it's great to know that they don't want any foolishness in there. We got 3 Long Islands for 8 dollars a piece, great prices for a Midtown restaurant. I enjoyed myself and my food. I say everyone should go visit!

So...they're under new management and took the ribs off the menu! The main reason for coming was THE RIBS. Unfortunately, this may be my last time.

Really loud and empty. Stopped in to have a drink but I could hardly hear myself think. Not what I was expecting.

Now I understand why all the reviews are so mediocre. They don't exceed or really fail at anything. This place doesn't know if its a sports bar, fine dining, or a night club. The only sports motif was a random assortment of balls stuck in the wall. Our server was nice but extremely untrained. She couldn't recommend drinks and seemed confused by a lot. There was no manager or if there was they weren't doing their job. The food was an extremely small portion, expensive and the fries were so undercooked that they were hard :(. That being sad my burger was actually really good. We won't go back it was worth a try but, we see no real reason to return.

Great place to watch NFL football. They have ALL games. Food was good for a sports bar.

This is the new edition of the what was Jack Magoos. The menu seems much the same and the building isn't too much changed. They have some swings to sit at the bar and have removed the pool table and put a sealed room in that space that I think will be for cigars. My theory on Jack Magoos was to go drink and not eat as the food wasn't very good. The experience tonight was the same. Strikes me as Sysco type food. Nothing was horrible but wasn't really good. I'm sure a burger would be fine as it mostly seemed to be made to order. They didn't have several toppings and didn't even come close to getting my order correct but oh well. The staff was nice and the manager did come introduce herself. Make sure and get the happy hour specials correct as they charged more than quoted but once again oh well. Wasn't a huge deal. We had a big group and it wasn't worth bringing up. I would go back to watch a game and they have put up some large TVs downstairs. They have also added a big wood porch on the side. Don't see this becoming a go to place but I'm sure they will work some of the kinks out.

My friend buddy tried to help them out...Hired DJ, friend to promote, and another promo team to come promote fireball. Over priced drinks and Chris don't pay their djs. I wouldn't suggest wasting your time going there!!

Came in on a Sunday night with my boyfriend. Walked in and nobody greeted us. We sat for 10 minutes before I had to get up and ask if we had a server. Other employees and a manager walked by us several times, still no greet. Ended up walking out. I will NEVER come back
