Um, Yum, Yum. I am not much of a sweets eater, I would just rather have savory on a regular basis. However, especially in hot weather, a good frozen yogurt is a way to really make a great summer day even better. I love the selection of different frozen yogurts to start with. There is a flavor for just about everyone. And the opportunity to mix and match as well. A little of this, a little of that, ooh, that looks good, whatever you want in the cup to start. Then, the toppings, oh the toppings. You can try to stick to the fruit, or you can go out on a limb and get all the candies. Myself, I am a coconut, almonds and chocolate guy. Kind of like a German chocolate cake without the cake. Good thing, as I am not a cake fan, but the frozen yogurt, mmm mmm good. After you choose as much or as little as you want, you pay for it all by weight. So, adjust your cup to a nice small one for your little snack, or get the biggest cup and fill it up for that, occasional, spoil yourself cheat treat.

What a place! All the flavors, all the toppings! Service is exceptional, especially from Matthew!

The cashier was super sweet! Explained the process and was very friendly and seemed happy to be at work, which is rare these days. The facility was very clean and the bathroom was nice! Anyway, compared to other popular yogurt places, this one tops the charts! My daughter was overjoyed at the flavored and selections of toppings while I was more impressed by the precise an clear labeling on dairy/gluten/sugar free choices. We will be back!

Oh my goodness!!! I just can't believe this is the only Menchies in town. Back home we have one in every corner and we Love LOVE Menchies! We drive here from a bit of distance for all the flavors and all the cute stuff for my daughter. I love that they cater to kids. They get balloons, stickers, toys, etc every time we go. The spoons are made of durable colorful plastic and I save them for my daughter's play kitchen. My favorite flavors are watermelon, orange carrot (I know, but it's so good), vanilla bean and original. Then again, they always have new flavors I'm discovering. AND the toppings, don't get me started! They have almost everything you'd like on your yogurt from fruit and nuts to decadent cheesecake, brownies and chocolate and marshmallow sauce. Don't forget to sign up for their club, eventually you get free yogurt, or a coupon, I can't remember.

This was my first time visiting Menchis. I wanted to try it after watching Undercover Boss. I walked in with a friend and realized that this location was not very big but that was fine. However I did not receive a warm welcome or a welcome at all actually. I didn't really notice until I started seeing the Caucasian young employee greeting other Caucasian guests. It was a turn off but the yogurt flavors were delicious and the price was better than some other places like Yogurt Mountain... I might come back.

Hip looking establishment - I liked the sugar free vanilla and praline pecan mix swirl with the chocolate syrup. It hit the spot tonight. The customer service is great as well.

One of the few places in Memphis that serves decent froyo. However, it's not the best Menchie's I've been to. As long as they have regular tart flavor and mochi topping, I'll take it. I'm not a huge fan of their other flavors because they always end up being too sweet for my taste. You pay by weight and the price per oz isn't so bad here. Don't forget to grab a few sample cups if you want to taste some of the flavors.I won't go out of my way for this Menchie's, but a good place to stop by if it's on your way to a destination.

Five stars for taste minus one star for price minus two stars for lying about waffle bowls being free = two stars. The waffle bowl is placed in your cup for which you pay based upon weight. Essentially, you are paying for bread the same price you're paying for their premium yogurt. It's is NOT free.

Great frozen yogurt but it appears they do not clean the restrooms daily. Very dirty first thing in the morning. Update 2/8/2015. Sunday afternoon around 4:30 pm. This afternoon I visited again with my family. The lobby is full of people and the two employees are staying busy. I am pleased to report that they are working together well as one works the cash register and the second alternates between assisting him and then maintaining the front area. All of the customer areas are clean including the restrooms. Thumbs up for the attention to detail.

Menchies is by far my favorite froyo place. They change up their flavors regularly and always have delicious flavors and toppings available. They have a game table so the kids love going there.

This was our first time here. We are fans of yogurtland but didn't see any around so we decided to check this place out. Glad we did! We were greeted with a warm smile and hello, which is always a plus! The place looked bright, clean and fun (chalk board on a few of the walls, checkers board and a TV game table). They also offered free wifi! There was a variety of fun yogurts (such as butter cookie, red velvet, & oreo) and tester cups to try out as many flavors you desired. They also had numerous toppings (candy/cookies/fruits/drizzles). The yogurts were tasty, the staff was friendly, and the place was relaxing. Great place to go with the family! We will be back!! :)

This was my first time to Menchie's. Apparently, I didn't know it was a national chain until I went inside and saw all the celebrity pics at different menchie's nationwide. Anyway, I had the Cookie's n' Cream and Peanut Butter flavorings, topped with cherries, pineapples, and cheesecake bites. The yogurt was pretty good, but nothing special. The atmosphere is rather bright, with many things that would attract children to eat there. Not my cup of tea, but not a bad place at all.

Once you go Menchie's you never go back. Just moved to Collierville from Chicago and I'm not happy w my froyo options. Imagine my surprise when I saw Menchie's! This was the only frozen yogurt place I would go back home. This location was just as great as my Chicago one. Staff was friendly, store was clean, options were many and toppings were abundant. Yes and thank you, I will have a smiley day!

Free waffle cone bowls... Need I say more? I went with my parents, brother, and boyfriend after we ate at Friday Tuna for my birthday dinner, I was surprised by the decor... It was all smurf themed for the upcoming movie. The cashier even said as we were checking out "Have a Smurfy Day!" They have some really advanced, expensive tabletop computers for kids to play on. I didn't get to take a look at them because it was so crowded. They also have games on almost every table! The flavors were great. They had melted peanut butter as a topping (my fav). If I'm ever out in this area I will definitely be by here. It was great!

Menchie's offers a huge variety of interesting and delicious flavors that rotate (and thus keep you on your toes). Iced coffee and salted caramel pretzel are two favorites. Large array of toppings from chocolate covered strawberries to large candy bar hunks and nuts and fruity options as well. This family run and family friendly business is always immaculately clean. Staff are very friendly, warm, and helpful.

My first time at a Menchie's and it was alright. The staff was awesome though, they were absolutely friendly and a delight. My co-worker and I made the long drive from Nashville to Memphis for work and we decided to stop by before we headed back out to Nashville. I got the original and coconut, can't go wrong with those 2 typically. Topped it off with some yummy mochi and fruits and off to play some checkers while enjoying some frozen yogurt we went. Toppings were good, original tart yogurt was good, but the coconut made me gag. I'm not sure why it was so sweet but it was so sweet it was burning my throat and I have a major sweet tooth. 2 stars for the yogurt, an extra star for the service. If I'm in Memphis again, I might give it another try but definitely not the coconut.

2 things attracted me to try Menchie's for the first time: the cute exterior and I had a 50% off coupon (love you, CitySaver!). The actual business is similar to so many other yogurt-by-the-ounce places. I do like that they have tasting cups sitting out so that you can try anything and everything before you decide on which flavor you want. There are about 10-15 flavors available and then there's the toppings bar...one with things like sprinkles, cookie bits, marshmallows, etc. and one with fruit toppings, whipped cream (looked like homemade!), and the like. I sampled the kiwi-strawberry sorbet and it was really tasty. My daughter got the dulce de leche and loved it. Hers came out to $1.50 with the coupon, so I guess cups average around $3-$5 depending on your gluttony level. The young man working there was very helpful and polite from beginning to end. ** One note: If traveling south on G'town Pkwy, you should turn in at the CVS entrance on Trinity. I made the mistake of thinking I could get there from the Panera/Kroger/Shopping center entrance and couldn't.

Menchie's was one of my first fro-yo experiences years ago so the chain holds a special place in my heart. Each time I pass one, I feel almost compelled to go in, as I did about a week ago. As we were driving down Germantown Pkwy after brunch, I couldn't resist the call of this frozen treat. Cookies and cream, cheesecake, cake batter, red velvet, coconut, mud pie (a southern favorite) topped with fruit, coconut, crushed oreos and cherries, yum! Another pleasing dessert from this great fro yo chain.

Alright- my last review of the evening! Menchies is great here is why: 1. Friendly staff. We have a 4 year old and a baby and they ALWAYS help us without being asked. SCORE!!!! 2. Great flavor selection 3. Creamy delicious yogurt with tons of flavor. 4. Cheaper prices than anywhere else in town. 5. Friendly, community minded owner. 6. They have one of those huge tablet things which is so, so, super cool! Keep up the good work. I hope businesses like this are super successful!
