Been getting my takeout order from here for years. Combo dinner with the beef burrito, enchilada rice and beans. Plus the two large Cheese dips that has Big CUPS.

Came here for lunch on 4/28/15. Three of us came to eat, I had the Enchiladas Surpremas, one person had the Chimichanga, the other had the steak Colorado. The service was really fast and friendly, as they had some chips and salsa out quickly and also took our drink orders. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes and was hot. All of us cleared out plates which is good considering the three of us also ate two baskets of chips. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to eat some pretty good Mexican food!

This has been one of my to to places for many years. The service and quality is consistent sometimes average and sometimes incredible. here are a couple of hints to bring it to the next level. I am eating a burrito Lois los Reyes. The food is definitely the best and it is more than I can eat. It was served very hot but on a cold plate so it cools down quickly. Ever heard careful this plate is hot? It keeps the food warm longer. Why bother serving the chips warm if the salsa is cold. Don't make no sense. Salsa don't have to be refrigerated unless stored for long time. Don't take my tea away from me to refill it. Bring the tea to me. Please. I gotta tell you the art and decor is phenomenal. Really over the top. A lot of hard work went into the presentation and the feel and ambiance.. then when you look up at that nasty ceiling it ruins the whole thing. Don't think people don't notice that. They do. Ceiling tiles are available across the street at home depot. Do those things and you get five stars from me. Thank you for the hard work you do everyday.

I have eaten here many times. The food appears to be the Sysco standard Mexican fare. The menu is the same you see in Sysco-supplied Mexican restaurants. That said, it is prepared well, price is fair, portions are good, and service is very good.

Best Mexican in Memphis. By far the chips are what started it off and everything afterwards was very very good.

Located in an office building suite in Raleigh, Los Reyes Mexican Restaurant may not be that well-known in all parts of Memphis but you will hear its praises being sung far and wide for all those that have been lucky enough to sample their excellent Mexican fare. Waiters serve up generous portions of some of the sauciest, spiciest, yummiest Mexican food north of the border for all of your dining pleasures. Order the Queso Fundido but don't fill yourself on the tostitos just yet. There are plenty of mouth-watering dishes just waiting for you, from traditional Mexican meals such as tacos, burritos and nachos to a larger variety of spicy tostadas, chimichangas and Mexican chicken and shrimp dinners. True, you might find good Mexican food all over the city but you'll have to take the drive to Raleigh to sample some of the best that the city has to offer with Los Reyes.

We came here for a early sunday night dinner. Very good. I got the combo dinner with 1 beef taco, 1 enchalida, and rice and beans. It was served fast and very hot, like I like it. The beans had cheese on top and the taco shell was very fresh and crisp. The enchalida comes covered in a mild red chili sauce and there is a generous portion of meat inside. We ordered a white cheese dip to go with the free chips and salsa. Again, very good. The portions are very large and you def get your money's worth. Since it was still pretty early, it wasn't too crowded but I came here a few years ago on a Sat nite and it was packed. I don't know about the drinks but they do have a full bar if you are so inclined. We like the atmosphere a lot, the chairs and booths have pretty matching murals on them and it is bright and cheerful. The service was very good and even though the waiter was ESL he did a lot better than many Memphis native waiters I have encountered lol

Located 'off the beaten path' (out past car dealerships on the verge of the 'burbs) in Rockin' Raleigh, Los Reyes serves some of the best Mexican food in town. Start with Que-so Fundido, then try the Camarones de Diablo-mix with a pitcher of frozen margaritas and add tequila shots. Viva Zapata!

I have been going here for a couple of years.. I grew up in Raleigh but don't make it back there too often now, I will make the drive for the food here. It is wonderful and the service is always good. The restaurant is clean and very open. I love the garden quesadilla.

There were a lot of very high ratings for this place so I tried it. For a Saturday night it wasn't very crowded. The chips were very good but they brought out a tiny cup of salsa. The salsa was good but had to ask for more. I ordered guacamole and it was just ok. It was lacking something. I ordered a combo plate of a taco, burrito, rice and beans. These were good too. Not bad for the price but definitely not 5 stars.

Looks like a hole in the wall but don't let that fool you. The service is quick and the food is hot and in good portions. The Nachos Grande is enough for me and my wife to share and are full when we leave. The prices are very reasonable as well. The atmosphere is very casual but clean.

I love this place! Okay so we enter its somewhat empty but I honestly like it that way we recieve way better attention during those moments. We were sat at a both against the wall and immediately waited on. Mariana was our beautiful Boriqua who took our order with a smile the entire time. I ordered a water & budlight while my lover (9 yr partner) ordered a Miller Lite & water. She gave us our salsa & chips giving us a little more time to go over the menu for our entrees. Now side note on the chips, they r so light and crisp I adore these chips like crazy. Once she came back I decided upon the "Enchiladas Jalisco" which were freaking amazing! I wanted so badly to get the exact ingredients but gave the menu back to soon to remember. I can't remember what he ordered but whatever it was he demolished it again in front of me for a second time. I enjoyed my enchiladas covered with a suculant beef or pork shoulder smothered with this green sauce along side green peppers and onions with plump thick rough chopped tomatoes. I was in a trance the entire time with the creaminess of the cheesy stuffed tortilla breads. I even had the cutest sized margarita after my body couldn't eat anymore. I can not believe I have frequent this place for over 10 years and never once thought of reviewing it. I had one set back though, which is the reason there's only 4 stars; the ceilings are in a bad state. There was so much water damage & cracks I had the "OMG, don't cave in on me" syndrome as I sat at my booth. Now I didn't finish it all because as we know Mexican food comes in heaping portions but my sons gladly took over making it disappear once I brought it home. After they finished it we were bombarded with instant questions of what is it called?, and where did u get it? I admit lots of people are Mexican food connoisseurs with their uptight upscale taste buds but at some point you have to give these establishments their props for even hitting the taste buds of people who didn't grow up with these dishes as a normal everyday meal. The art decor inside is so detailed in the tables and chairs and booth backs. The pop of colors that run throughout the place is so festive. I mean how can you not love coming in and eating here?! So many people in business attire frequent here for lunches & working out deals made to increase there portfolios and income all over margaritas, fish tacos and piña fiestas that no e of them bother to Yelp what I witness them enjoying. So you do t have to take my word for it just experience it for yourself. Not to mention it's 2 doors down from Spirits Unlimited. WTF?? Double the fun. Kudos.

This location is iffy, but Los Reyes is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. My favorite thing about them has become their salsa. I can't find a good chunky flavorful salsa like I can at Los Reyes.

This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant. We have been frequenting the place for 22 years. We eat here every week for lunch and sometimes dinner too. Their salsa is really good! Portions are large so we take home leftovers or sometimes split a plate of nachos.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
