Flat, hot, draft beer. Cold soup. Crazily oversalted food, marginal waitstaff. Dirty bathroom. Pizza was ok at best and served on super cheap paper plates. Both our stomachs were messed up after eating here. Pass.

Great pizzas and sandwiches in one of Memphis' best buildings. Bring friends! The beer selection is also another great part with specials for events.

This is my first Yelp review and I was hesitant to post it...also I am typically very easy to please but my first and only visit to Ferraro's was a disappointment...in my experience, what they claim to be an Alfredo sauce, while perhaps tasty, was not a real Alfredo sauce and my dinner companion didn't like it at all...to each his own, I suppose...but, when making a point to VERY politely discuss my concern with the wait person, he as much as suggested that the Alfredo sauce was perfectly authentic and perhaps I didn't know what I was talking about. I can deal with less than stellar food but I cannot abide rude service...no offers to try the dish again...no offers to try something different...just a "like it or lump it" attitude...very sad indeed.

I went there for Monday Night Football because they have $2 Bud Light and $2 bar pizzas. The pizza was fresh made, not frozen and tasted good. I asked the bartender to turn up the sound of the TV and she did. The place was empty, so that kind of dampened the atmosphere.

For about a week, I've been hearing talk about Ferraro's, a pizzaria that just opened in the Pinch district downtown. The talk has been a mixture of downtowners excited about having a pizza place nearby and "OMG, try the stromboli." Alas, I didn't try the stromboli when I had lunch there yesterday. There was a lunch special calling my name - an 8 inch, two topping pizza and a drink for $9.99. I ordered my sausage and basil pie at the counter and was surprised when it showed up at my table super quickly and at least 10 in diameter. The owner, Andrea Ferraro (who's also a derby girl) said that the dough usually spreads out a little bit when it cooks. My pizza was excellent. The crust was perfect - it walked the fine line between thin and thick, and was firm enough to support the toppings, but not overly crispy. The toppings were fresh and there were plenty of them. Ferraro's has a definite neighborhood-pizza-joint vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive, there are plenty of big tables and a few large TVs. For those of you who don't want to leave the house, they offer delivery "uptown, downtown and all around". While they don't have liquor, Ferraro's does have a large selection of beers (on tap and in bottles). All of the beer on tap is $3.50 or less per glass.

The Monday $5 pizza deal is a great deal. The crust is not too doughy, and the sauce not too sweet. The 12" is enough for 2 meals.

Staying at a hotel nearby, thought I would try their delivery. They were friendly and quick. The side salad was excellent. Everything was fresh. Also ordered a small pizza and it was very good. Crust is good, somewhere between thin and medium. Ordered it with roasted garlic and basil. Both were good. An excellent downtown pizza choice.

I read that Ferraro's delivered in Midtown. We ordered two large pizzas, gave our address, and waited about an hour. When I called back, they indicated that they did not go past Rhodes. We live one street past Rhodes. Their menu clearly states Midtown delivery, nothing about Rhodes. We live within the Parkways. We were waiting and hungry. . . .they did call, but I did not get the message. Their menu is bait and switch.

I'm editing this one. This place used to be great, but it is going downhill fast. The pizza I just had was terrible. Almost no cheese on it, and the sausage was tough. Not to mention the service was awful. They ran out of Coke and did not change the machine out. They didn't have several of the salad dressings that were listed on the menu. Not to mention that they left the pepperoni off our 16" pizza. The server didn't seem to care one way or another. Won't be back.

Call me picky, but I have a hard time finding good pizza in Memphis. In my opinion, every local pizza joint I've tried has missed the mark in one way or another. After trying many recommended spots and being disappointed, I finally gave up. But, I hadn't given Ferraro's Pizzeria and Pub a try until recently and I must say I was impressed. Last Sunday my boyfriend suggested we stop check out Ferraro's for dinner out since we were already downtown and it was on the way home. It's located in the sleepier part of downtown which means easy access to plenty of free parking. We were able to park right near the front door. We sat at the bar so we could watch the Saints game on the wall-mounted flat screen TV. They have a few selections of beer on draught and even more options in bottles. What goes better with pizza than beer? Um... not much! Whenever I visit a restaurant for the first time, I like to taste more than one menu item if I can. I convinced my boyfriend to split an 8" pizza and a sandwich with me. For the pizza we went with the Porky Pig, a specialty pizza topped with sausage, ham, bacon, capicola and salami. As for our sandwich selection, the Chicken Parmesan was the winner. Our food took some time to prepare but the wait was well worth it. The pizza and the sandwich were both really good. Absolutely no complaints from me. And I certainly didn't here any complaints from my man... he was too busy stuffing is face. I'm sorry it took me so long to visit Ferraro's, but I'm glad that I finally found a good pizza place in Memphis. I will be back!

So I found this cute little slice one afternoon coming from the MegaBus station about two blocks away. Hot from the humidity, a beer and a slice was just what I needed and Mike, Jennifer, and Kenya served me up something proper! Any pizza or grinder is a perfect choice and your best bet is to wash it all down with a chilled pint of Southern Pecan beer!! Cute patio for the smokers, tons of free parking and 3 TV's for the sporta fans!! Check em out.. you will be happy you did!!

I've been coming here for a couple of yrs now. It's hard finding good pizza in this town, and when I say good I mean NYC good and yes Chi-town good. So it is really nice being able get that sort of quality pizza at Ferraro's. that being said, not five stars only because of price (which steep but definitely in line with other places around) and the pace...but then again this is the south where things are slow as molasses! Taste is great, selection is great and the service has never been less than good most of the time it's great. They also have a few beers on tap including a couple of locals...they also have happy hour specials M-Th. Bottom line is that I'll keep coming back!!

7:30pm on a Saturday night and slow but the guys working were friendly, pizza was very good and even the salad was fresh and green. Price is about 15% high but not still a good choice. Here with my son after hitting the car show and I'll probably bring the film down in the future.

Ferraro's offers one of the tastiest pizzas in Memphis and a location full of charm. Located in the Pinch District, this makes for a great place to have a little food, a drink or two, and go for a stroll along the trolley line on North Main Street. This is where Justin Timberlake celebrated his 30th birthday. Come here to bask in a little JT magic.

We came for lunch during a convention. Even though they are located right next to the convention center, the staff was completely unprepared for any business. We were told to wait until the only waitress in the place could come to our table so the cook would not be overwhelmed with orders. As we waited patiently for the waitress, we watched everyone in the room place their orders and get their food before us. Yes everyone. We finally went to the front of the room and placed our order out of hunger and desperation. All in all we waited 2 hours and never got served and never got any food. I wouldn't know what the food tasted like because we never got to eat it.

Pizza - yumm. I have to say their crust is good, not too thick, not too thin. Definitely not greasy. My husband and I shared an 8" veggie and a house salad. The salad was full of fresh ingredients. Fresh mushrooms (not from a can - yuck), fresh.. well.. everything. Sliced red onions on our pizza - it was delish! We got a large pepperoni for the kiddos, and they looooved it. The service was friendly, but a little slow. We had to chase down our server for stuff we needed, including our ticket, and they weren't busy at all. We'll definitely be back - they have pizza specials on Monday night. I believe it's a 10" one topping for $5.00. That's cheap!

This is my favorite pizza place in Memphis. Why? Because the pizza tastes like I'm home, in NJ. Of course, NY-style slices are my favorite. I haven't tried the delivery because I've been trying not to eat whole pizza pies on my own. The calzones are good! Try the BBQ chicken. I like the decor inside. Appreciate the option to sit outside but I find the area cramped. Best deal is $5 small pie on Monday. They have TVs, and a bar, if you wanna watch a game as well. Service is decent. As for other pizza places: Memphis PIzza Cafe, tried it once, not impressed. Trolley Stop - maybe tried it once? would try again. Aldos, I like. Little Italy - used to be my favorite, but I think their recipe changed.

The salad was better than the pizza in my opinion. The specialty pizza (can't remember the name) wasn't terrible but I thought it tasted sort of dull. Maybe more sauce would have helped. Server was very robotic (something that's becoming commonly familiar in the service industry these days)\ Thought the building, adornments and inside and out artwork were cool. Glad to see this business along with others populating the Pinch District that took a downturn after the Pyramid closed.

Just did not care for the pizza at all. I had high hopes... the atmosphere is great I liked the decor and they have a nice small bar. The pizza was under cooked not crispy at all...I hate that. Also they use paper plates and the cheapest paper plates you can possibly find. We had to ask for several more paper plates because they were so cheap they ripped. In all there are better places in Memphis for pizza.

My buddy and I were driving out of town, and being near Beale, we were heading towards the highway. Due to construction, he found himself blocked out of the turning lane to get on. It was then that I had the brilliiant suggestion to get something to eat. We went down a block or two and I pointed this place out. He, being a fellow foodie, was ready for a change of pace. We hit this place up. Firstly, it's really quite confusing for an out of towner to try to park here. It states parking in back and has two lots on either side of it that are pay to park, posted 24/7 violators will be fined. We circumvented this and instead parked on the road right in front of the place. So we went in and decided that we'd try half black and blue chicken pizza and the one that had about everything on it. Being an old Pizza Hut manager, I am usually pretty critical of pizza. Not that Pizza Hut is the best, but it does have a fair standard to judge by. The black and blue by far was my favorite. The bleu cheese wasn't overpowering, it merely enhanced the chicken and veggies. The crust was crispy, not soggy, and the sauce was ok. (Nothing I called home to mom about). I can tell this place does things to at least a fair standard, as the place appeared clean when we entered, and there was a few people who were coming in by the time we were midway through our meal. I figured this was probably repeat business, judging from the way they were treated, but then again, the service was actually pretty good all around!

We ended up leaving early after three (!) roaches crawled up the wall next to us and onto our booth bench. The bartender gave us a discount, but I won't be back for a while. Disappointed in the pizza too. I only ate half of a slice, but it wasn't as good as it has been in the past.

I normally do not bother writing a review, because I have worked in restaurants for years, and it is rare to find such a place that uses fresh ingredients, and doesn't include fried pickles from Sysco on the menu! I ordered the soup and salad, and my boyfriend ordered the Italian Sub sandwich. They had $1 beer special for draft. After our two meals, two of my boyfriends beer, and my tea, our bill was $20.90. The server was nice, fast, accurate, and the food was amazing, all fresh ingredients, and fresh bread! We will definitely return, I am looking forward to trying different items on the menu!

My daughter was stuck at work and unable to leave at lunchtime today, so she called and begged and pleaded for me to bring her lunch. I asked what she wanted, and she immediately (and enthusiastically) replied "Ferraro's!". I was, like, "Huh? What's a Ferraro's?" She clued me in speedy-quick, that Ferraro's is a new Italian cafe/pizza place downtown in the Pinch district. She went with friends a few days ago and just loved it. So today she was craving their Stromboli. I agreed to playing delivery girl, because I love my daughter and also because I thought it would be awesome to give it a try myself. I am ever the sucker for new restaurants in town. I didn't have time for a sit-down meal, but called ahead and placed an order for Stromboli for each of us. When I got there to pick it up, I was really impressed with the place. The awning outside was painted in bright, cheerful Italian stripes, and there was a small, but very charming sidewalk patio out front. The inside was spotless. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a big welcome and my order was there waiting on me. After trying my Stromboli, I understood why my daughter was such a fan. First of all, it's huge. I could only eat half. Which is good because now I have lunch tomorrow. Additionally, the crust was thick and perfectly toasted, and the filling was loaded with sausage and herbs and cheese. Ferraro's, you got yourself a new fan. :)

Good food worth the wait. Small sized staff on the weekends and earlyake the wait time a little longer than I like, but I often am impatient. The wait was worth it. Great chewy crust pizza we tried the porky garden fresh and the 5 cheese. All great pies. Looking for non commercialized food.... Try this slice of authentic flavor.

Went to Ferraros with a friend after church on Sunday. Luckily, they open kinda early (11ish I think). We had nice, friendly service and split the Porky Pig pie. It was quite tasty and the leftovers were pretty nice too! Next time I'll have to try it at night when they have trivia or musicians! Nice to see a restaurant making it in the Pinch!

I've been here once and had one thing, so I am not the end-all, be-all of Ferraro's. I had the meatball sub because, well, I'll just say I make the best meatballs in the world so I have to compare others. Ferraro's was good - moist & well seasoned. Very heavy on the oregano, but not bad. The restaurant itself was nice - good downtown/uptown vibe and the waitstaff was friendly. Next time I go, I'll try the pizza.

THIS is my go to pizza joint in the city of Memphis - delivery, take-out, dine-in, whatever. They do it all well, from your standard pepperoni and mushroom to your specialty pizzas (the BBQ chicken is pretty awesome). Really tasty, and it looks like they use quality, high-end ingredients. Nice people, good service, great vibe.

We were staying in memphis sat night for the bbq championship. We really wanted to try this place. we called at 10:20 pm and were told the ovens where already shut down even through they don't close til 11:00 pm. Yelp states 12:00. So we were very disappointed. If you close st 11 you would think thats when you turn the ovens off?

Just did not care for the pizza at all. I had high hopes... the atmosphere is great I liked the decor and they have a nice small bar. The pizza was under cooked not crispy at all...I hate that. Also they use paper plates and the cheapest paper plates you can possibly find. We had to ask for several more paper plates because they were so cheap they ripped. In all there are better places in Memphis for pizza.

The place looks nice old school look right next to the Pyramid A lot of New York pictures and custom artwork. Got the 28 inch pizza that couldn't fit even fit in the car nor front door. The pizza was good.

Trust me on this one. Being a downtowner, cannot get better food and service anywhere in downtown Memphis.

Have gone to Ferraros 4 times now and we're pretty much in love. Right now it's rivaling MPC as my favorite pizza joint in Memphis and I think Ferraros might win because of location and how cool the place looks inside/outside. The pizza is fantastic, never a cheese shortage, and the toppings are authentically delicious. Not to mention a pretty decent beer selection along with TVs playing the game you wanna see!

Nice place for you to eat and relax at lunch... Make it a big group and get the giant 28 inch pizza.

Excellent thin crust and a nice selection of house specials. Large draft beer selection also. Nice balance of sauce and flavors. Will definitely be back.
