Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

After recently moving to the area, I was elated to find a place to deliver to my new home OTHER than pizza. Tried the spaghetti with meatballs & the chicken fettuccine alfredo. Both were superb! Only complaint was that I was told my order would arrive between 35-45 minutes. An hour & 15 minutes later, it arrived. I don't have a problem waiting, but it would have been nice to get a call stating that it would be longer than expected. The delivery driver apologized for the delay & said they became unexpectedly busy. Understandable. But customer service is key. Nevertheless, will certainly be ordering again in the future!

I dig it. If you're looking for delivery other than pizza in Memphis, this is your place! (Well, they have pizza too if you're in the mood for that...I just mean there are far more pizza delivery options in Memphis than regular food delivery...) I've only had delivery from here and I'm always surprised how quickly they get to me. I've tried practically everything on their menu since I don't cook (therefore I order delivery a lot) and this is one of the few places that delivers things other than pizza (although their pizza is good). Ummm so yeah, prices are good, food is good, delivery is good :)

I got a Italian from their not to long ago, the bread was a bit over toasted but it added to the experience. The sandwich was amazing and the delivery was fast. I will definitely do business with you again!!!!

Our office really enjoyed our Camy's experience yesterday. I try to make it a point to shop local and when we order for our office delivery Camy's is the first thing that comes to mind. We got the xl Memphis BBQ pizza which is great. I wish they had more online specials as there is nothing for what we order every time vs going to a non local competitor or maybe a loyalty program of sorts. Pizza was great, Tea was great. Way to go Camy's! We will be back!

Very slow. According to staff they were short handed, but they're always slow. Waited 15 mins after the order was done because they forgot the salad. Then a driver said are you waiting for this order? Lack of communication.

Color me torn between 3 and 4 stars...I agree with Erica a bit on this one: the service and delivery are well beyond 5 stars. They are so friendly and accomodating. In the past, I've had disappointing pies. Yesterday, I ordered one hand tossed and one thin crust pizza. They were both good, however, I didn't really like the thin crust & I usually like cracker thin crust pizza. I like that Camy's is local and their friendly demeanor helps me with being a repeat customer. I do wish their pizza's were more consistant. Oh, also, check out their web specials for a good deal...or 4!

Delivery and service: easy 5 stars. Food and the quality thereof: 3 stars...most of the time. I have been eating at this place, off and on, for the past 10+ years. Unfortunately, the quality and overall goodness of the food that is offered here has declined, somewhat, over the past 2 to 3 years. Don't take this to mean that the food is bad. Because it is not. Instead, it just isn't what it used to be. One of the major draws to this place is the fact that it is open late and delivers. There is a very diverse menu that is offered and ranges from salads, sandwiches, pizza, hot wings, and other assorted sides and desserts. The salads are always fresh, which is the foremost requirement for salads. The pizza is still decent, but it simply is not as good as it once was. The sandwiches are well-prepared. You can get basically any type of meat, cheese, and an assortment of toppings - or any combination thereof. I recently tried the bacon blue burger, which was very good. Although you might not expect it, this restaurant also offers chicken breast dinners and a steak dinner. This comes with the choice of meat, a baked potato, garlic bread or breadsticks, and a side salad. First and foremost, whether you choose the chicken breast or steak option, do not expect anything that is going to blow you away. Either of these options are fair, bordering on good, and that is about as much as I can say. However, you get a ton of food for the price. If you are a hot wing lover, this is definitely not going to be your go to place. While the hot wings that are served, with a couple of different options, are definitely on the "okay" side, they will definitely not suffice if you are a connoisseur in this genre of foods. All in all, Camy's is still a good restaurant that serves good food. The staff and the service that you receive at this place are top-notch. However, I can only hope that their cuisine will soon return to the quality and deliciousness that I remember from years ago. If and when this happens, I will be back to add to their star count above.

Pizza is nom! Cheese bread is nom! Ordered a pepperoni and black olive pizza and cheese bread later one night and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was more homemade feeling than larger pizza delivery businesses. I enjoyed this aspect. The sauce mixed with the cheese was a nice ratio as well as toppings. No shortings here. Also the cheese bread is literally cheese on garlic bread. However plain sounding this is and looks, it is cooked to crunchy perfection and has a tonnnnnn of cheese on the bread. Definitely would order again.

Pros: friendly and quick. Food: below average. I only ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Almost positive meatballs are frozen/prepackaged. Sauce is okay. Garlic bread is nothing special. The Greek side salad was the best part, very fresh. Would I order again? No. I'm comparing spaghetti to Bardog in Downtown which I used to have delivered frequently (recently moved). Camys will not replace Bardog spaghetti. Not even close.

Ordered hot wings and pizza. Wings were barely (temp) hot and were baked versus (grilled) as their menu specifies online. The pizza by the time it was delivered it too had lost it's greasiness and steam.. So it it was under temperature-- I called night (manager) the GM on Friday night around 10:30pm and I inquired about their hit wings. I wanted to know if they baked them or grilled them. Sarah said they only baked them- because it was better to bake them for the style of wings they have. When I explained that a week before I'd ordered the wings and the pizza and I was more then pleased with their food. I explained I wasn't complaining, rather just wanted to know. Sarah insisted I was containing and that who ever cooked my food last time had "inconsistently" done so. I said to Sarah, I would rather have the inconsistent food (grilled wings) than baked and she continued saying that she would find out who the manager was that night and would need to be fired. Again- I explained that I wasn't complaining, but just wanting an understanding. She continued to say ... That CAMY's only bakes the wings. Then I referred to the menu and suggested she look into the menu, where it states Grilled wings--(because they are healthier) as I was told by the first order taker a week earlier... So that's what I was looking forward too and I didn't get it. :( I'm disappointed, but not to the point where I'll quit ordering there- because I feel it was just a "lazy" mistake in their part since it was nearing late night. The last time I placed my order around 7pm so I'm thinking the earlier you place your order the better quality you'll receive. I will call during the week and inquire again. I want to see if the GM Sarah is being truthful- for I feel she wasn't- and I don't like spending big $$ for lack of quality and in efficient managers.

I have lived in Midtown for very long time. I have eaten Camy's pizza for years. I don't mind paying a little extra for the quality. This has to be the best pizza in the city! Delivery is always faster than predicted. I am actually quite pleased with the service and the food all around.

Was very torn when Tuckers Pizza and Wings closed because they had my favorite pizza ever, Spinach. Heard Camy's was a good place to grab a pizza so I called Friday night when I got home from work (10pm) and customed my spinach and artichoke pizza. The guy on the phone was nice, listened to what I wanted and about 35 minutes later I had a delicious hot pizza at my door. Highly recommend Camy's!

I always order delivery and have never been disappointed. Their Reuben is phenomenal. My boyfriend loves the Hero. Order from their specials and you'll save money. I've had their pizza twice and it's not something I'd ever order again....but definitely order their sandwiches.
(4)Brian S.
Ordered delivery twice. Service was friendly and quick. But food ranges from mediocre to gross. And not really in a way that was redeemable. The sandwiches we had with the first order were okay. But the second order we got wings and pizza. The wings were the fattiest I've ever had. The pizza was awful. Sauce, crust, cheese, toppings. All of it was disappointing, and we ended up throwing away almost the whole meal.

I called in an order for a ten inch Memphis Barbecue pizza, and almost exactly 30 minutes later, a nice bearded guy holding a pizza rang my doorbell. Barbecue pizza can be a little tricky. Some places pile on so much meat that the pizza becomes sort of an open face pork sandwich. Other shops barely put any pork on the pie at all. Camy's gets it right. There are big chunks of barbecue with tangy sauce scattered around a regular cheese pizza. It's really delicious on hand-tossed crust. Camy's has a full delivery menu of pizzas, sandwiches, grilled chicken and steak, hot wings, pasta and dessert. They deliver seven days a week, and according to their website, they're going to start offering online ordering in the near future.

Tried to order a few times. Kept thinking it would be good one time but never really was. I would recommend to order delivery from Young Ave. Deli.

I'm giving Camy's 3 stars based upon an average between their customer service and their food. The customer service and delivery driver would definitely be 5 stars. Sadly, the food alone, would have to be only 2. I've ordered from them twice now, and both times was floored at how accommodating and friendly the person taking my order was despite it being busier than all get out. I was also blown away by how amazing the delivery driver was. Seriously, I was about to invite the man in to share my food and watch a couple flicks with us. I wish more establishments got this vitally important step in running a successful business. The food portion of both experiences left a lot to be desired. First off, I feel that Camy's is a tad bit over priced. Both times my orders totaled over 45 bucks. We're not talking ginormous orders here folks- 1 small and 1 large pizza and an order of bread sticks for 45 bucks?? I was expecting a symphony in my mouth. Not so much. I'm not a fan of their crust. It's very thin (and I can get down on some thin crust) and has more of a frozen pizza consistency. What's even worse is the second time we ordered everything was burned. Both pizzas and bread sticks. I get that mistakes happen, but couldn't you quality check the items before they go out? Another sore spot was the bread sticks themselves. They tasted like they came out of a can and were plain- no butter, no seasoning nothing. Just bread. I asked for the garlic dipping sauce, but we didn't receive any with the order. Needless to say, them being burnt and plain, they didn't get eaten. For $6.99? Nope. I will say that our first experience with the meatball sandwiches was much better. This sandwich was quite good, just don't make the mistake of ordering the 4" sandwich. It's literally about 2 bites worth. I'm also a bit confused about the menu situation, when I asked for a menu, they said you can only view it online. I understand this is an age of technology, but when the decision has been made to order in for the evening, you want as little work as possible. Meaning, I don't want to look up 4-5 different establishments online before making a decision. I much prefer to have the paper menus to compare and decide from. If Camy's could up their food a bit, or lower the prices to match what they are currently serving, I might make this a more regular spot. Until then, I just cannot commit.

If you are looking for really good local pizza, you have to try Camy's. It's not a restaurant, but a delivery place, and it puts the national brands to shame. A great menu of pizzas, sandwiches, and other goodies. They get 5 stars from me for quick, polite service, good value, and because last Friday night they made me a totally customized pizza that was the best I have ever eaten anywhere!

my family and i ate here this saturday. we were the only ones to dine there this saturday night, which was surprising. anyways, we had a groupon. i ordered an italian, and my faily ordered a pizza and a hamburger. we all liked the food. i liked my sandwich a lot, and i tried some of the pizza. i can clearly tell that the proprietor - a very sweet counter-culture southerner - cares deeply about food. she's a sincere chef who appreciates food. Their service was great, and i sincerely got a great vibe from her and the staff. they're very nice and welcoming. now, my only 'complaint': on principal, i don't drink bottled water. now, i would *PAY* money for a tap water, but i don't drink bottled water. one of the workers there claimed that they didn't have cups and that i could only buy water. however, they brought out cups after some time. also, the ingredients, pizza crust, etc. is all fabulous, i wish that Camy's prepares more of the ingredients from scratch. i support family owned businesses, and i'll always support camy's. give me camy's hamburger over corky's ANYDAY (check out my review of corky's). camy, if you're listening, we're kindred spirits. have a heart for those of us who are environmenally conscious.

I ordered a steak dinner tonight and may I say they delivered in a timely maner and the delivery guy was very nice, it all went down hill from there. The steak was tough, as leather and undercooked, I asked for medium, it was rare. The baked potato was undercooked and they charged me for a loaded potato but all it had on it was some melted mystery cheese, nothing else. My suggestion is keep looking unless mediocre minus is what you are looking for.
