This was our first visit here. We tried to go before but the line was out the door. Although, next time we will definitely wait, it's definitely worth the wait!! Today we only waited 15 minutes and then we got seated. The waitress was very nice and very patient. We asked a lot of questions because the menu had many options and everything looked delicious. We finally decided on the steak and eggs for my husband, the Southwest scramble for me, and the Mardi Gras pancakes for my daughter. We were even able to add one scrambled egg for the baby. We asked for the steak medium rare and it came out medium rare and it was perfectly seasoned. My scramble was served w tortillas, Guac and salsa. Everything was delicious! Will definitely come back. I'm looking forward to trying the salmon on a bagel and having my own steak and eggs. Oh, I forgot, I got a giant cinnamon roll with the cream cheese frosting, and it was delicious! It was soft and warm and perfectly made!

If you just take a look at the picture of my eggs benedict you can see that the hollandaise sauce was really clumpy. I scraped most of it off. The customer service was also really off. Our waitress was nice but she forgot a lot of things. We never got the cinnamon roll that we ordered. We asked for a second glass of apple juice and that never came. We also asked for lemons for our water and we never got those either.

Now I only had one experience here and it was on a weekday so keep that in mind with my quick review. Food was quick, warm and extremely good!! The huge bonus was the fact that it can be treated as a weekday brunch place because they had lunch as well, mimosas and screwdrivers available!! I didn't like the almost $8 prices for the drink but it was pretty potent so I guess I wont fuss too much. My service was attentive and I think the kitchen manager came out and checked on us too!!

Really should be a 2 1/2. Ok, they have only been open a week and are still working out the kinks. Arrived Easter morning at 7:30 so it really was not crowed and were greeted promptly and in a friendly way by the corporate rep out of Destin. It first appeared as if they had a lot of staff but soon figured that some were from corporate office and were there training. Suffice it to say, still a lot of work to be done there. Our local server just did not seem to have it together, the job just seemed overwhelming to her. She was friendly and seemed to know the menu and could describe the food beautifully. Wish it had been that good. Pancakes, average. Waffle, average. Hawaiian French toast ok, certainly not to rave about. Homemade sausage was different both in texture and taste, you will have to decide for yourself. Coffee was good and cup refilled often each time by different person. Observations. I think some fresh fruit garnish on an order of 2 pancakes ($6), a waffle ($7.50) and ($.99) extra for whipped cream and the French toast ($7.50) would have been reasonable. Best thing we ate were biscuit beignets, could make a meal out of one order. We will probably give them another try after allowing some time for more training but will stick with coffee and beignets. For price paid today I would expect a better product and a little on the side.l

I came back to try out their lunch. While sitting at the bar, we observed some disturbing practices. The bartender was making a Bloody Mary and stuck his whole bare hand in the carrots and celery tub. Not one time did I see him wash his hands; he just kept wiping them on his hands. I was completely shocked. This is why I always specify no fruit in my drinks.

First time I tried this upscale breakfast chain was in Vinings, Georgia, outside Atlanta. It was really good. This was my first time in this new location in Memphis late on a Tuesday morning. Service was good, the food was okay. I was not impressed on this visit. The menu surprised me by not including anything with country ham, a local favorite, and there was nothing really outstanding that is not available at other local breakfast spots, done better. As I'm a big fan of breakfast, this was overall somewhat disappointing.
(3)Tris Z.
Good service, okay food. Nice place to meet up with friends because it is conveniently located. Ordered the beignets and crab omelet. The beignets were good, full of powdered sugar but I would like them to be little more fluffy. The omelet was at most a meh... not much to say there. Crab does not taste that fresh, but we are far from the ocean. The waitress was very nice though.

The best breakfast I have had in awhile! The atmosphere is really nice. I dined on the patio which was absolutely fabulous....it made me feel like I was vacationing. There's no elaborate sign so you would definitely miss it if you are riding by. The staff was also very friendly. I think of this place as "the upscale hole in the wall." Some items on the menu are kind of pricey, but is totally worth it. I had the waffle sliders (omelet type of cheese egg and bacon on a sliced waffle)and a mimosa. DELICIOUS EVERY SINGLE BITE! I think it is cute how they lay a strawberry on a toothpick across the top of mimosas! Everything on their menu sounds pretty tasty and I'm excited about trying other items. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my greedy buddies! Until next time.....

Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out and I have been wanting to eat here since it opened. I finally got a chance to have a spur of the moment "breakfast for lunch" with my husband the other day. They have tons of options and I really wish I would have been able to take leftovers with me because I wanted to try something else, but I chose The Yolk (with two sunny side up eggs, an english muffin and butter, and country potatoes) because I wanted something I thought I could eat in one sitting, especially since I didn't know how big their portions were. Well, it was pretty big, but I was able to eat it all and be stuffed afterwards. Everything was not, fresh, and very good. The service was great, fast and we were in and out in just under an hour. I can't wait to come back so I can try another one of their menu options.

Hello my new favorite brunch spot and hello Bacquezo omlette! This spot is perfectly situated. Love the size of the restaurant and the outdoor patio. As soon as we walked through the door, which was kindly opened for us by an employee, we were taken care of. Not just by our server mind you, but the whole entire staff. There was one server in particular who went out of his way to talk to everyone and make their day! Wish I had gotten his name, but I will make a point to get it on a subsequent visit. The sweet tea is perfection and my mother said her coffee was extremely good. Both tasted freshly brewed. Our server made note that they grind fresh whole coffee beans for each pot. My omlette was huge and topped with some amazing chorizo. It oozed cheese. It was heaven on a plate. If I had had a hangover I probably would have gone back to the kitchen and kissed the chef. If I had had a hangover, I probably would have ordered one of the beautiful bellinis I saw coming out. As it was, I scarfed down my omlette and crispy potatoes and came out happy. Will be back very soon!

What a sh@t show. Bad atmosphere with tables crammed in together and one hole bathrooms that opened directly into the dining room. I had to keep ducking due to the waiters carrying trays of food over my head. An hour and twenty minutes in we got our undercooked "beignet" dough balls with a weird sauce to dip them in. I dont even want to waste the time on this review but I feel like I owe it to the public. It would take pages to express my dislike of this place. The server was nice but you could tell he was hating life. Sometimes I feel like the dumbest person on the planet because I just don't understand why this place has anybody eating here let alone waiting. Gross in so many ways. More power to the owners though if people are dumb enough to come overpay for this garbage.

My mother and I came for breakfast and we each had a plate that we split. I had he cinnamon roll French toast and it was really good but too rich to eat for one person, so I'm glad my mom and I split that. We also had the Benedict Oscar and that was really good!!!! Coffee is bold which is what I like, so it was yummy! Will be back for Fathers Day as I know my dad will like this place.

I was just passing by Memphis and looking for some good breakfast. Found this one. The place had a good ambience courteous servers. Above all, the food was great!! Really loved the veggie delight omelette. They took some time to get my order but it was worth the wait. I would definitely come here again on my next visit to Memphis.
(4)Deanna W.
I liked this place. A lot. I had the honor of being able to attend the soft opening, and was very impressed. First off, their menu is ridiculous. Ridiculous in a good way. They had so many great options and it took me a solid five minutes to decide on an entree. When it comes to appetizers, I usually only associate them with dinner, but man oh man their Brie was phenomenal. I got pretty full off that! Then my main course arrived. I got the crabcake cavallo. I must say I was a little disappointed, only because I thought an egg can with it. In fact, the menu says two eggs come with it, so maybe I got the wrong thing! It did come with some potato wedges which really did me in :). I definitely can't wait to go back and try more things. Everything around me looked so dang good! The service was great, and the management was so kind and attentive. Our waitress, Gina, was really on top of things and had a great knowledge of the menu already! Last but not least, definitely check out that patio of theirs! It happened to be snowing when we went (dumb), but I can't wait to sit out there on a warm summers day!
(4)Joe W.
I oscillated between 3 and 4 star rating because everything's pretty good, nothing's particularly great and it's priced like a gourmet place. That said, it's close to home and the food and service were solid, so I'll continue to stop in from time to time.
(3)Anjum B.
My experience at this establishment was one of the worst to date. We walked in to a line of 30-35 mins. Cool. I figured the place was good which is why it was so crowded. Yeah, no. As we quickly (or not so quickly, since it took FOREVER to get anything at this place) learned, it's the subpar service that adds a good 45 mins/1 hour to any visit. We finally get seated 30 mins later and said we were okay with sitting outside. A waitress comes to our table, takes our drink orders and disappears. For 15 mins. We're sitting in the heat with no water, nothing. She shows up (right on time because I was starting to get queasy) and gives us our coffee, stating that "I had to make these myself since everyone's busy". Um, okay. So she leaves again. I tell her we're ready to order, the next time she comes back (another 10 mins later). She takes our order (we also ordered appetizers because I HAD to get something to eat ASAP because I was starting to feel sick). We now wait. And wait. And wait. It's a good 10-15 mins again before our appetizers are here. We got the beignets and they were pretty good. At this point, it's been around 30 mins since we ordered. Still no word on when we're getting our food and it's starting to get REALLY hot. My iced latte is mostly just melted water at this point and I'm still not feeling too great because I'm sitting in the sun. So we ask to move tables. Fast forward another 15 mins and there's still no food. Nor have we seen our waitress this entire time and I'm just flagging down whoever I see at this point. I'm JUST about to ask the waitress when our food comes...FINALLY. After that wait, I'm expecting the best darn breakfast I've had, especially considering it's almost practically lunch time now. Call it delirium, impending heat stroke, amnesia (or the fact that it took so damn long for our food to come out), but I'm now unsure of what this mysterious substance is in my breakfast burrito. I had specified that I was a vegetarian and to hold the chorizo but it looks suspiciously like it. But since I have no experience with chorizo or the like, I figured I'd ask the waitress because, you know, they work there and probably know what's in the food. Well, it's not true because one person tells me she isn't sure and calls someone else over to ask. That person is 100% sure that it's chorizo and I've just chomped down on pork (which I can't eat). Okay, now I'm upset. 50 mins later and the one thing I requested (I'm vegeterian, please please no meat) isn't done. To make matters worse, the woman has the gall to say "oh well, looks like we ruined your day" in the most sarcastic/rude/unapologetic tone possible. At this point, I'm about to go into a hypoglycemic coma so I figured it wasn't even worth trying to say anything. After making a few more "oh my! Looks like we ruined your ENTIRE DAY", she leaves with the plate and I'm sitting there, wondering why I decided to convince my friends that coming here was a good idea. 5 mins later, another man comes up (I'm assuming he's in charge). He informs me that there was no chorizo in the food but they're making a new one. Well, now I'm furious. I just waited 50 mins for subpar food that may or may not have had something that I could not eat in it. And then I was treated like a moron by an employee who had no idea what ingredients were in the food they were serving. And now I'm sitting here 30 MINS AFTER THE RESTAURANT HAS CLOSED, waiting for food that I don't even want at this point. I finally got the food. And I scarfed it down (because I was hungry, not because it was the best) and go on my way. But not before the incompetent person waiting on us takes my husband's plate without asking if he's done and then takes our checks (okay, we get it we're leaving). My friends and I are appalled. I'm not sure how this restaurant is in business because I have never experienced customer service so bad on so many levels anywhere. The ONLY reason this place doesn't get negative stars (also because it's not possible to give that) is because the manager had the decency to not charge me for their ridiculous blunder. tl;dr: wait staff sucks and will make sure that there is an extra 1-2 hour wasted if you try to eat here. Also, will probably scare you into thinking you ate something you're not allowed to/severely allergic to and then treat you like crap for being upset that you were given said forbidden item even though you specified it not be included. IF YOU DECIDE TO IGNORE ME AND EAT HERE ANYWAY: eat breakfast before going. It'll probably be lunch time before you get your food anyways.

Meh... run of the mill chain breakfast spot. Nothing I had was out of the ordinary or any better than any other mediocre breakfast place I have eaten at. The place was surprisingly packed for what I experienced, but the tables are so close together it feels like a family style dining experience and the service was terribly slow. If you are really looking for a place to eat a grand breakfast, please explore, summer ave, midtown or downtown for an inspiring breakfast and start to your day.
(2)Ed S.
It started out promising (meaning I was warmly greeted and promptly seated at my choice of either an outdoor or indoor table) but then after waiting 10 minutes for a server to bring me a water or even greet me, I lost hope. Had to go ask where my server was and was told she left for a dentist appointment. I understand things get mixed up so I can overlook that. Coffee was good but my omelette was way overdone. Not too sure I'd come back again if in the area.

Memphians love things that are new and we also love breakfast so it wasn't completely surprising when we arrived to a big crowd over the weekend. I except a wait for a Sunday brunch but the wait list was not well managed - the estimated wait times were way off and the front desk seemed to have a lot of confusion on who had been seated. I'm pretty sure the order was messed up too - a three top that put their names in 20 min after our group of 4 was seated before us and we all know both party sizes take the same sized table. We were finally seated on the patio and it took awhile for our server to come, she was a nice as could be and it seemed like there was just a lot going on. Drinks took forever but things went a little smoother after that. The food was all very good though! I had the lobster and Brie omelet and got to try the Floridian, city grits, and cinnamon roll. There was nothing at the table I didn't like. i was worried the lobster would be a little skimpy but it was a perfect amount. The thing here seems to be cream cheese in the omlets, I've never had that before so I found the flavors unique. I get the impression there's issues here on the flow and maybe some short staffedness in the kitchen. I will probably wait a few more weeks before returning because it did take an incredibly long time just to have breakfast. The food was really good but I just felt awful for our server and the rest of the staff that was clearly hustling. Once they get their flow I'm sure things will be better and I'll be sure to update my review.

Well the secret is out, the food here is really good!! My wife and I went here for breakfast and we were surprised with the ample amount of breakfast items to choose from, especially with omelets and eggs Benedict. This place kind a remind me of the "Metro Diner" in Jacksonville, Florida. My wife and I tried their beignet with citrus sauce. It was very addicting, you just can't have one. I ordered the Floridian omelet which is topped with crab meat and some type of cream sauce. It also came with English muffin and fried potatoes with cheddar and bacon pieces on top, it was too good! As for my wife, she had the shrimp and grits. She loved it because it had a kick to it and it had pieces of andouille sausage. We both shared the home made breakfast sausage we ordered as a side item. Let me tell you, that sausage was darn good. The coffee was also good. The service was great, the place is very modern and the prices were reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and already looking forward coming back and trying another items on their eclectic menu.

Being a big eggoholic myself, I expected greatness. Boy was I disappointed. I don't know where to begin. We went around 12:30 -1pm and it wasn't that packed at all. Maybe 10 people tops but the service sucked so bad. We never got a refill on our drinks, they forgot our appetizer completely. I started just to get my own straws for our drinks. The waiter never came around us. The food just wasn't any good at all. IHOP beats this place without even trying sadly. Just a huge disappointment. I guess the name fits the restaurant pretty good though. Just another broken egg.
(2)Leslie S.
Taking one star off due to long wait for food. Our waitress is really nice, and fairly attentive. Glass were mostly filled. Our table of four took a fairly long wait to come out. The food is pretty good. Nothing special, but not bad taste either. Will have to come back because wife like breakfast food.
(3)Mike K.
I would strongly suggest ordering the city grits. I loved them. With that out of the way, I'll proceed with the review. I must discuss the cinnamon roll french toast. It is a good choice if you like dessert for breakfast. It was a bit too sweet on its own, so it would be great to share. I did order my french toast in a combo with eggs and bacon, though. Both were well prepared and really helped me avoid the upset stomach that so much sugar first thing in the morning could have caused me. I also had the opportunity to taste an omelette and some potatoes. I give both passing grades. The selection was large and varied, so even if you know you want eggs, your still going to have a large number of options. Same with the sandwiches. This restaurant is a safe bet where everyone will be able to find something to make them happy.
(4)Tan Y.
Theeee best customer service. I was greeted by every waiter/waitress on staff this day. I sneezed and immediately got a "bless you" by a waitress at another station. The manager was attentive to ensure I had a memorable experience. I felt like I was in the twighlight zone. I mean really you don't come across this every day. I sat at the bar as I was solo dolo today. Ross took great care of me. You know sometimes at the bar you feel like a after the fact thought. That isn't the case here. I had the scrumptious veggie delight omelette, with the insanely awesome breakfast potatoes. I made myself stop eating because I knew it wouldn't end well otherwise! I would highly recommend coming here. They have a full bar & patio. So if you feel like a mimosa or bloody mary with your meal, they got you! *Note on Sunday's they don't serve alcohol until 10.
(5)Sara V.
So bad. Quoted 20 minutes , waited 40. Asked how much longer all they could say is you can sit at the bar? Really? Because you already have doubled the wait time and can't even tell me when a table will be ready. Then we finally get our food 35 more minutes later, we don't even get our complete order. The food that was did get was alright, but not worth everything we had to go through. Our server was nice which is a plus but not plus enough! I hate that this was such a bad time, really. Also it took 10 minutes just to pay -- I'm just not fond of being a restaurant for close to 2 hours. Never again. We wanted to love it....

Brie Cheese with Toast Awesome!! Hey Lucy Plate great! Sweet Potato Pancakes Great!!! Would Definitely Recommend.
(5)LaQuita M.
This was my first dinning experience here and the food was great! I wanted to give them 5stars but as soon as we were seated, I sat in a chair full of syrup. Needless to say my pants were wet from trying to clean off the syrup. The portions were adequate for the price and service was prompt.
(4)Gary D.
Had biscuits and gravy with a couple of over-easy eggs. Gravy was fresh-made and good. Biscuits were not fresh made (brand name frozen) and were OK when covered with gravy and eggs. Eggs were cooked OK. Service was slow. My dining companions enjoyed their meals. I will try it again - but better biscuits would help. Price was a little high, and the t-shirt was not worth the money.
(3)Cris W.
Was not as impressed with this location as we were with the one in Destin. Something was just...missing. Can't quite put my finger on it. Just wasn't as stellar.
(3)Teresa B.
Sat out on the patio this beautiful morning. Desiree was our waitress and she was awesome! I had the lakeshore scramble with multigrain toast. She brought my toast dark and my scramble with tomatoes and no sausage just like I asked! Delicious delicious delicious!!! Definitely, going back. Great place to go alone or with someone.... You will be comfortable and full.
(5)Kimberly D.
Ate here for the first time the other day and it was awesome! Shared the sweet potato pancake as a dessert, it was AMAZING!!
(5)Shawn L.
This place has lost two customers for life. The service and food were terrible. We waited for over 45 minutes to get our food. At one point before our food came to the table our waitress asked if we were ready for our check. I said we haven't even got our food. Another couple at a table behind us never got there food and got up and left. No one even apologized to them. We had another waitress come over and apologize for the wait on our food. She said the restuarant had a VIP group and they were making sure that group was taken care of and that was slowing everything down. So basically since I was not VIP I was not good enough. I will never step foot in this resturant again. I will make sure to tell everyone about the service at this place. Just remember you need to be a VIP if you want good service and food.
(1)Samantha R.
I was so excited Another Broken Egg came to Memphis and it didn't disappoint. My husband and me both had omelettes and they were scrumptious. My husband raved about the grits too. The only disappointment was the Mediterranean potatoes they were burnt and just not good. The service was great however and I loved that they have a patio. I will definitely be going back soon !!!
(4)Taylor D.
If I could rated this restaurant purely on the service I've given then 4 stars. Besides for the servers walking in between closely placed tables and encroaching on personal space, everyone was super friendly and actually seemed to like their job. I made the mistake of ordering something fairly boring (egg whites and bacon) and got just what I asked for... A bland breakfast. The tab was pretty steep for a simple breakfast meal, but all in all not too bad.
(3)Dick G.
We walked in at 9 am on a Sunday and had no wait. If you can't get here early expect an hour. It's a small place. Food is good with coffee a bit week. All the tables are very close. Think Delta air. The wait staff was polite and for the most part attentive. When we left the wait line was out the door and heard lots of hour wait talk. I'm going to try them on a weekday for comparison. Pancakes and omelette were very good. Bagels looked like lenders frozen type. Still if you can get in before the hoard it makes for a nice breakfast. I agree that a piece of fruit on the plate would add to the look.
(4)Adrienne W.
My friend and I get together twice a month and enjoy two of my favorite things...... breakfast and gossip. We discuss everything from jobs, kids, family and many more things. We rotate turns on who picks where we will eat and spend at lease three hours of our Sunday. She suggested Another broken egg. I was not disappointed. The food was so delicious and the service was awesome. We were seated within 1 minute of entering the building and the server was at our table within another 2 mins. He kept our coffee hot and our water cold. Forgive me for forgetting his name as he was awesome. Lucky for him I never forget a face . I ordered the 2 stack of pancakes with bacon, eggs and breakfast potatoes. It was absolutely perfect and steaming as it came from the kitchen. Again this place is awesome and highly recommended by two highly opinionated friends!
(4)SouthernFoodie M.
Today was my second visit. Still good! I love their menu and the options they have for lunch or breakfast .... or brunch. Solid choices. I had the fried green tomato BLT, which was pretty good. The only thing I think I personally disliked is that they were wedges of fried tomatoes, not slices. The home fries also appeared to b pre-frozen. That being said, it was a solid lunch and I am still full 4 hours later. Service was awesome, and she gave us our drinks to go. I love that. I'll head back again!

This place is down the street from where I live and recently opened, so I decided that I should give it a try. I came with three others and saw that it was packed. However, when putting our name on the list at 11:15, we were told that our "wait is 30 minutes, but probably wouldn't even take that long." Okay, fantastic! Except for one little problem...30 minutes go by and we are not seated, and then another 35... at this point my girlfriend goes in and asks how much further of a wait, and they told us that they were cleaning our table and would be ready shortly. Great! We sit on the bench by the front of the restaurant and wait. During this wait, three other parties were seated. Even further, the hostess and manager were seemingly having an argument (heated discussion, whatever you want to call it) in front of customers, which was not a good look. Meanwhile, the manager kept telling people the the "wait is 30 minutes, but probably wouldn't take that long." Eventually, my girlfriend went up to complain about the empty promises we've been receiving, and were finally seated at 12:32. Upon being seated in the patio, it was evident the waitstaff was quite frazzled. We were packed in like a can of sardines with minimal covering to protect patrons from the elements (thankfully we were only drizzled on. We're finally greeted by our waitress (who was exceptionally sweet and seemed to be having a really rough day). She took our drink orders and food orders right away (we were wildly disappointed they had run out of beignets, but substituted). By the time we had drinks, it was 1 pm and my gf's hot chocolate was very watered down. At this point, y'all must be thinking "this sounds way more like a one-star review than a three!" Fortunately, things started picking up from here. We started with a cinnamon roll and an order of the city grits. The cinnamon roll was very moist and rich, and the city grits were an interesting spin on grits that I thoroughly enjoyed! Although, cheese and bacon does tend to make things better. For my meal, I ordered the Bacquezo, which was a bacon, cheese, cream cheese, green pepper, and onion omelet, with a side of breakfast potatoes. The cream cheese really adds something special to the omelet that makes breakfast here stand out. The potatoes were also delightful. However, my girlfriend got the brie and lobster omelet, and needless to say, I ordered he wrong omelet. Hers was incredibly tasty and not at all heavy. At the end of the meal, brunch for the gf and I was around $45. While the food was certainly worth it and would get this restaurant 4 or 5 stars, the first two hours of disorganization and chaos were pretty hard to overlook, regardless of how new they may be. Based on the food alone I may come back soon and pray for a better experience, but they definitely need to fix their internal issues quickly, as this was not the greatest first impression.
(3)Erin F.
We experienced a first class welcome on this special opening day. Our City Grits and Brie appetizers were delicious. The coffee was hot and rich served In special mugs. Our omelets were incredible (veggie with added house made sausage; Popeyes ) mouth watering and filling, served in special dishes. Management is engaged and involved. Service was excellent. Can't wait to enjoy breakfast here again.
(5)Rowan C.
Great food and great service! It was fast and tasted amazing...it wasn't very busy but i was there kind of early.
(5)Steve K.
This was a recommendation from the Marriott less than 1/2 mile away. From the time I placed my order until my food arrived was 45 minutes, they were not extremely busy, but Restaraunt was full with no one waiting to be seated. Probably the worst breakfast food I have ever had. Will not be returning to this location.
(2)Pattie W.
We went for lunch today. So excited to have ABE in Memphis!! The only reason for 4 stars was the wait for our food. Server very friendly and food was great!!!! Hoping they are just getting all settled in. So many customers work nearby with hour lunches. Great menu choices and we will definitely go back soon!
(4)Sarah J.
Went to soft opening and looks great. Met the owner who was so nice he gave me a mug bc it was my birthday. Love their breakfast and bloodys! So glad we have one in memphis now! Yay
(5)Candace B.
I was really excited about this place because breakfast is my favorite...it was a total let down. I had tried to go here once before but sorry I am not waiting an hour outside to get a seat. So, finally had to go wait in line because it was someones birthday and they got to pick. It took about 45 minutes to get a table again you have to wait outside the place is incredibly small...luckily it was a cool morning. I hated the seating; you are packed in right no top of each other. The waiter seemed stress...really don't blame him there. We ordered the biscuit beignets they were ok the sauce they came with kind of gross did not like it. I ordered the Bacquezo (Ba-Key-Zo!) omelet the eggs were fluffy but the chorizo sausage was horrible had to eat around it...I can not describe what it tasted like again just gross frozen meat. You can get a much better breakfast at any local Mexican restaurant or waffle house. Just pass on this place it is a pricey chain with crappy food this will be a magnet for the older Germantown crowd who need to pay a ton to eat breakfast.

FINALLY! A place that specializes in breakfast and brunch and knows how to do it! Great atmosphere and food here. Nice patio though not very scenic but didn't bother us! I had the Black Bean Benedict and it was awesome! Coffee was good - not the best I've ever had but good. Service, well, they're new and trying, and that's enough for me to give it another chance in that area. We will back and we will bring friends and family and we will tell everyone!

Great staff. Good food. George (the owner) came by the table to help us feel comfortable. My only (very small) complaint was that they put syrup on my pancake. I'm pretty calorie conscious so prefer to do it myself. All-in-all a great place for breakfast!

Went for breakfast, and although it was busy, it wasn't loud or overly crowded, and I we were seated right away. Our server was excellent! Quick, courteous, and knowledgable. I had the eggs blackstone, and cannot rave about it enough. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the whole dish was delicious.

Went to breakfast with my boyfriend and he and I were both very pleased! The food was great and fast. I love breakfast food and the variety and selection were great. I went with the traditional breakfast though and the portion size was perfect. The service was the best part though. Every single employee was smiling even though it was early. Even other servers and the greeters were pitching in and serving us. They have the nicest staff! He and I will definitely be back in the future.

Excellent food and service. Party of six. Everyone ordered something different and all of the food was scrumptious. Sausage patties are different with sage and brown sugar and were so tasty.

Came in here shortly after they came in to town. Loved every bit of it. Having been to the original location in Mandeville, LA many times, this location is a very well done extension of their fantastic food and service. I highly recommend the beignet appetizers.

There was a wait but not a bad one. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was nice. A little rushed but nice (it was a Sunday and it was really busy). Our waitress was a bit clumsy with hot coffee and rushed. I will be a regular in spite of that. It's a decent place and they open early, so for an early bird, it's excellent.

Very, very few places have food worth waiting 1.5 hours for, and this place is not one of them. After being told our wait would be 20 minutes, it took 45. After finally being sat, it took another 45 minutes to get our food. Server was attentive and very apologetic. Food was good but not great. This is simple breakfast fare, which you can get at a lot of places in Memphis. If they get the flow issues worked out, it might have a chance, but that will be for someone else to decide since I unfortunately don't have another hour and a half to sacrifice.

I can't say it was worth the wait. To be seated we waited 20 minutes. The hosted was friendly and the perfect greeter. Once seated the waiter was prompt and pleasant. My husband ordered the traditional with a side of grits and I ordered the pecan pancake with a side of eggs and bacon. He enjoyed his meal. My pancake came out warm I informed the server and they MICROWAVED it and brought it back to me ...not cool. In addition, pecan were on top not cooked in the pancake batter. The worst thing is it took 20-25 minutes to get our food. Not at the top of my lust for a repeat.

The monster cinnamon role is so good. For breakfast I ate the pancakes and sausage patties. . Try the fried green tomatoes. They come with jumbo lump crab cake. Topped with goat cheese and Creole remoulade sauce.

Enjoyed sitting on the patio for breakfast this morning. My husband started with the cinnamon roll, which came warm with icing running from the top. He said it was good and he ate every bit of it, although he initially thought he'd take part of it home! We both had eggs Benedict, very good. I would have liked a little more Hollandaise sauce on mine. I probably could have asked for more, but it was very busy and I didn't want to bother the server. Eggs were done just right. By the time we finished breakfast there was a line waiting for tables. I'd advise getting there by 9 on Sunday morning if you don't want to wait.

The only reason I came to this place was because people were ranting and raving about it. But I had a different experience! For the drinks my husband and I ordered water coffee for myself and an orange juice that was to come with his meal. They forgot my water and didn't leave any straws, petty I know but still. We were seated right away and decided to dine on the patio, which I never do. But surprisingly the weather was fine for it and it was actually a pleasant atmosphere. But then it started getting crowded and people started having a hard time moving around. I ordered the steak and eggs with seasoned potatoes, substituted my toast for a blueberry muffins that I requested to be toasted and lightly buttered. My husband ordered Belgian waffle and sausages. He enjoyed his meal he said the homemade sausages were great. But he never got his orange juice. I myself did not like my meal at all everything was very bland, my muffin was a cold - that was not toasted or had any butter seeing how I paid $3 for it I figured it would be something great but it's pretty much crap you can walk in to Kroger and get a better muffin for cheaper. Not sure where our server was half the time our food was brought to us by someone else. So all her issues were addressed until pretty much when we're ready to walk out. He never got to choose like I said my muffin wasn't toasted it took 12 years to get a refill on my coffee the seasoned potatoes weren't even seasoned or good for that matter and it was just a terrible overpriced place for breakfast. The only reason I got two stars was because my husband enjoy his meal and I enjoyed the patio other than that I regretted paying the $31 for the type of experience that we got.

My husband and I waited an hour and a half for a seat, then waited another hour for our food, it was cold , no apology from the waitress, they were at capacity, what was so long for gravy to be on a biscuit ?? Food might have been good if it had not been sitting somewhere.

Even though they were running at full capacity, our experience at 10:30 on a Saturday morning was nice. Our expected wait time was accurate and the service was most excellent. We started with biscuit beignets, and followed through with Stan's Mardi Gras and Popeye's Favorite omelets. Everything was served hot and made as requested. Coffee cups were kept full. Even though there was a wait list, we were not rushed to complete our meal or our visit. Howard's attentive service couldn't have been better, if he owned the place. Hopefully, mgmt realizes the importance of folks like Howard and the rest of the team & how they create a perfect atmosphere for a casual relaxed breakfast/brunch. Well done!

Love it! Amazing menu. Staff is courteous and friendly. It's a little loud and crowded, but the vibe is just so upbeat

Got there 10am on Wednesday. Place half full. Ordered two standard items off the menu. 45 minutes later still didn't have our order. Asked manager to check, he went off and didn't come back within 5 minutes. We left, won't be back.

First time trying this place. I was craving breakfast food, mainly pancakes, around lunch time so decided to give this place a try since I work nearby. The waitress recommended the Belgian waffle over pancakes, so I ordered the Belgian waffle combo, only powder sugar on the waffle. The food was OK, nothing that special. Though I didnt fall in love with the food, I will give this place another try to tryout one of the omlettes. Overall, good customer service, everyone made an attempt to greet me coming and leaving.

First timer! I had the potato sensation with crawfish, shrimp and asparagus topped with cheese and scrambled eggs also 1 pancake bananas foster style with caramel sauce, whipped cream and peacans. To drink I had a coffee with a godiva shot. My only hang up was that the scrambled eggs looked like they came out of a carton which is a bit disheartening seeing as how they are supposed to use shelled eggs. Overall the food was delish and there were several items on the menu that I would love to try. I will definitely be back but maybe not get the scrambled eggs. My server Cassie was very nice, attentive, and very accommodating.

Overpriced and extremely mediocre. I don't mind paying more if the price matches the quality of the food but this was not the case. The coffee was bad, the bread for the sandwiches seemed store bought and cheap and the potatoes were bland. I got the fried green tomato sandwich and was disappointed in that as well. The greens were wilted, the tomatoes were soaked in grease and it was flavorless. The menu items were really interesting but the quality and flavor profiles didn't seem to satisfy. Really friendly staff! Maybe the breakfast is better than the lunch?
