Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Excellent service, good food, and fair prices. This was our first time here. We'll be back. We had the lasagna and baked spaghetti. Both were very good. Good portion sizes too - not too much or too little.

As a part time amateur food snob and a full time professional eater I ordered my goto pizza marguerite which is crazy simple mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil... However! They didn't use fresh basil! So the look was way off, but the taste was exactly what I was expecting. I also got the cheese bread and as god as my witness it has to be to best damn cheese bread I have ever had! Definitely looking forward to going back and seeing what else they have to offer!!

Pizza was good and lasagna was amazing! The side salad was pretty good. Had to wait a long time for the food.Next time I will know to have my patience with getting the food. Waited probably 40 minutes

We tried Catarina's after a friend's co-workers suggested it. Parking is easy -- right on the street. Plenty of parking in front. The interior is fairly small, so it probably won't fill up the parking lot. The interior is sparsely, but nicely decorated. The salads were a nice size, but the ceaser salad was served with iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. I don't know if they were out of romaine, or if that's normal. No croutons or olives (I don't like olives so I wasn't bothered). Appetizers were very good - cheesey bread ($5) and chicken tenders ($5). The cheesey bread was made in-house and the marinara was excellent. Portion sizes for appetizers was excellent. I thought the appetizers were a very good value. I had the home made lasagna ($10). It was very tasty -- a little more sauce and a little less cheese than I prefer, but it was very good. The lasagna was an excellent value. A friend had "The Original" ($18) - a marinated rib eye. It was very tender. He commented that it was very good, but didn't really meet his expectations of an $18 steak in Medina. My lasagna was home made, but I asked the waitress about some of the other dishes. The ravioli is not made in-house, and she wasn't sure about other pastas. They don't have a children's menu (the chicken fingers were great for the child we had with us). All in all, I enjoyed my meal. Service was very good and friendly. I'm glad I came, but at this point, it's not worth more than a 10 or 15 minute drive. I will try them again, however. The restaurant has great potential.

Great food and atmosphere! We ate there several times while we were visiting. Can't wait to go back. Looking forward to seeing what was done with the outdoor seating area.
