Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Very pleasant and fast service. I had the mole rojo. It was warm and tasty, not complicated or spicy. Filling!

This place came highly recommended from a friend and we had our first take out experience about 6 months ago and it was good. Food wasn't high priced but was good. About 1 month ago we decided to try it again. Me and my wife got the chimichangas and soft tacos for my 3 daughters but we all became violently ill that night. Having ate nothing else that day and my son who begged me not to have to eat here did not get sick we were Pretty sure we had been poisoned. It was confirmed when after missing 2 days of work I returned and found that 2 co-workers who had eaten there the same day as Us had also became ill. We've narrowed it down to the rice or beans. It was the only thing in common in all the meals. I will not be back

Best Mexican food ever! Should be illegal. Guacamole so creamy. Fresh salsa not hot so you can taste the fresh tomatoes you can always add hot sauce if you like flames. Atmosphere is charming. Service is the best. Fresh tortias. Carne Asada tender and tasty. Chili Releanos so good. Had Special Dinner. Get Ready to eat til you bust. Oh and of course you have to have the Fried Ice Cream. If you are the traveling on I24 east or west exit 110 its worth it, need a place to sleep it off The Ambassador Inn will do the job. Not fancy but clean.

The food was pretty good.large portions with lots of meat. i just wish it had more flavor. me and my girlfriend both got burritos, they were missing something, no real spices. all in all a decent place to eat, with a pleasant staff, and vibrant interior.

Believe the reviews that say to share! Even at lunch the portions were huge. We stopped on our way to Nashville and found great service and yummy food.

I absolutely LOVE this authentic Mexican restaurant in the little town of Manchester, TN. We have lots of relatives in the area and luckily get to town at least twice a year so I can get my fix. My favorite dish is the Especiale Los 3 Amgos that my husband and I share---it is a huge platter of sizzling fajitas with chicken, beef, chorizo, pork, and shrimp and seasoned perfectly. The chips are crisp, the salsa great, and the margaritas are cold, cheap, and not lacking alcohol. If you are in town for Bonnaroo-- do yourself a favor and stop in...you won't be disappointed.

Very tasty fish and shrimp tacos. Friendly service, too.

I know, I know...I should not have expected fantastic Mexican in this area. The food was very mediocre and extremely disappointing. The only reason this restaurant gets three stars is because their margaritas are cheap, yummy and incredibly strong. A pitcher shared between my friend and I cost us $16 and definitely took care of us for the rest of the night-and we didn't even finish it!

Plentiful tasty portions at good prices. $1.99 kids meals on Weds; even those were big. Veg fajitas could feed 2. Found this on Yelp as we needed dinner en route to Nashville, and it was just off the interstate. So glad we stopped!
