Came here for the first time the other night. Took a while to order drinks and pay out check. Another server brought them out. The chicken tenders are way too expensive, with how they taste. The chicken tender sauce tastes freakin weird. I was hoping to find a new favorite after calhouns shut down, but I doubt I'll ever be back here. 29 cents for extra sauce/dressing??? After charging those ridiculous prices??? Baffles the heck out of me.. Great team work from most of the servers. Our waitress must have been extremely busy, because we were served by other servers more than our main one. Don't eat the chicken tenders. They have the weirdest after taste.

So tried this place for the first time. Seemed nice. Meal started to go well. Salad was great beer was cold. Then it started. Ordered a nice steak. They brought out a steak with chicken strips. Waiter knew it was wrong. He took it back and then came back and told me that I can have the combo for the same price of what I ordered. Ok. Mistake. The chicken was cold and chewey. Then when the check came and it was wrong as well. May try them again as this may have been a fluke

Normally we don't go here. But we wanted to try something different. TV's are everywhere, even in the bathroom...so as to not miss the game. So speciality item. Just regular plates done very well. Steak, chicken, salmon, soups, salads and fries. Service is very attentive. Clean environment and up to date. If your just hungry for good regular food. Stop here.

I'm in Nashville visiting and I decided to have lunch at Rafferty's. I ordered the ole boy cheese fries as an appetizer. They were really delicious. I ordered the Bluegrass Chicken Sandwich, one of my favs! I LOVED IT!!! it was so delicious. Our waitress was really nice. She and the staff there pre-bussed like crazy! I love that bc I hate having plates in my way. I really enjoyed the whole experience here. The managers and staff were EXCELLENT!

Dined here on 12/8/12 after walking out of O'Charley's nearby (tables were dirty & smelled, slow service). Always quick service. Staff is always neat and they know the menu items well. Salads cool, crisp, and a good amount for the $. Steaks aren't the best, but everything else on the menu is great.

This place continues to be pretty good. Nice place to go for a nice upscale family dinner. Good service. :Yay!

Really good burger. No fries on the side though?

It was nothing special but was good food. The salad was great and the best part with the garlic ranch dressing.

This trip was really overwhelming. The noise was outrageous, but didn't match what was on any of the millions of big screen TVs that were also on. We couldn't hold a conversation among ourselves, and it was almost impossible to communicate with our waitress. What made it worse was her insistence on questioning everything we ordered. I don't know if management told her to explain everything to her patrons, but it sure felt like she was trying to talk us out of our order. And because of the rest of noise, she had to shout to do it. The food was OK. The rolls are very good. I enjoyed my steak more than my wife enjoyed her meatloaf, which was too dry . My margarita was pretty good, while her cosmo pretty much sucked. We won't be going back, at least not in the foreseeable future.

Rafferty's in Rivergate is awesome. We always get great service and perfect food quality. From dining inside to their take out service - we have always received top notch food and service. The prices are on the mark and everything is yummy. Their salads and croissants are the my favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Great prime rib but stay away from Curtis as a server. Prime rib is delicious.

Consistently good food with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. When eating here, you must try the croissants with the honey butter.... Prime Rib and baby back robs are great also!!

This was my first time at Raffety's bar and Grill. I went here for a lunch meeting to meet some local dealers that sell our products. there were five people total in the group. Upon arrival there was a giant strip shopping mall center type thing. The building looks really cool from the outside there was a porch style roof over the front of the building. When we arrive the host Sat us promptly. Someone in the group already had made reservation so it made getting a seat once we got there really easy. The place was pretty filled there wasn't any kind of a line that I could tell but we did go around lunchtime. Two of the people that I was with had eaten here before and they said that I would not be disappointed. We started off with drinks of course being in Tennessee I had to go with the sweet tea. We started with appetizers. We ordered two different appetizers the first one was deep-fried pickles and the second one was butter and honey glazed croissants. The croissants came 6 in a order and I have never seen that on an appetizer menu before. The croissants were so freaking good. I also had the fried pickles and there was some kind of a sauce that reminds me of the Burger King zesty sauce. I did have their homemade baked potato soup with bacon. Oh my goodness it was so good. Definitely stick to your ribs type food. For our actual meal I ended up getting the shredded buffalo chicken salad. The chicken was absolutely doused in buffalo sauce and the plate was huge it was enough for at least three or four meals. The thing I enjoyed most about my meal was the fact that the chicken was actually crispy it had a crunch to it with all the barbecue sauce on it there was no rubbery or stringy pieces of chicken it tasted very very fresh and very very good. With my salad they put one of the honey glazed buttered croissants on the side as like a little side dish and I couldn't even eat it I was full. The portions here are definitely big. When I go back next time I will def be splitting a salad with somebody because it was just way too much food. The staff here was very accommodating. The waitress didn't get one of the orders wrong. The person I was with asked for ranch dressing on the side and they accidentally put it on top. The manager came over quickly took the plate back and replaced it in no time. Overall Raffertys is a good place to eat. The honey butter croissants are a must when eating here. Just be aware that if you do eat two of the croissant you might not be hungry enough to eat your meal. The staff is very good the location is right off the main drag. The food is very good and the portions are extremely large. I do recommend anybody eating here. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Nashville. PROS: - food was good - staff was accommodating - butter honey croissants are a must. CONS:

I happened to come here on one of the most beautiful nights of the year. Sitting outside on their nice spacious patio was a must. Our service was outstanding, and our food was great. An easy choice for a business lunch / dinner, with options that will satisify a diverce group of people.

I really enjoy this restaurant because they have a good variety of food and they are very consistent. Their salads are very solid and the frisco salad is excellent. Today I had bourbon glazed salmon and it was amazing, I only wished that the portion was larger. The country boy fries are really good as an appetizer

DO NOT USE THE CARRY-OUT. They absolutely suck. My family and I get carry out here probably 4-5 times a month. The food is good so we keep coming back, but it's a screwed up experience every time. Absolutely horrible. They forget to put your order in, it's wrong, or you wait for ever on your fries. I understand they cook them when you get there so they are fresh, but 30 minutes? C'mon guys!!!

This is one of my lunch spots. Usually get a the ceasar salad which is very good. Comes with a hot bun w honey drizzled on top. Service is always good. Very consistent, family type place. Just good.

Service was horrible. My daughters grilled cheese came out on toast with cheese just stuck in the middle of it. Not heated mot melted not anything just shoved on there. We of course sent it back and she didnt get her grilled cheese back until we were paying our bill. Also when she did finally get it, it was ice cold. Like it had been sitting there waiting for them to bring it out.

Warning!!!! So I went to try this restaurant tonight with my son. I ordered the french dip, and he ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The waiter ask if we wanted fries and I ask "does it come with fries?" In which he replied yes to me. Well the food comes and the sandwich and burger was good and filling. Atmosphere was nice and lots of TVs, which was great for us cause they were all on sports. Good times right? Well then the check came. I noticed that the prices were well higher then what the menu said. I bring this to the attention of the staff. I was told that it was higher because we ordered fries with our meal. I explained that I had asked if fries came with before, and was just told that's the price. So I paid because I'm not looking for freebies, but I feel like I got one pulled over on me. I don't like giving bad reviews, so I will end with the food was good enough to eat again. Just keep in mind that the sandwich and burgers come a-la-cart.

The food was good, but they have too many tables crammed in a tiny area. The man behind our table elbowed me through the entire meal. Terrible layout. We ordered the strawberry swirl cheesecake, and it came out dumped upside down and frozen. We probably won't be going back again.

This place is fantastic! The chicken finger salad with hot bacon dressing is the way to go. I dare you to not eat the role.. Not sure what some of the poor reviews are about, We love this place.

Our family visited this Rafferty's at Rivergate after having a good experience at the one in Jackson, TN. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for a table. Service was friendly, but the food was very mediocre, certainly not worth the wait. My husband enjoyed his ribs and the salad was good, but the garlic mashed potatoes were so so. I ordered the Bourbon Glazed Salmon like I had ordered before in Jackson. It was totally different. There was no sweet glaze to it. It appeared to be a frozen piece of salmon reheated with brown gravy poured over it. We had waited so long to eat, I didn't complain. Also, the room was freezing cold. My whole family was shivering the entire meal from the A/C blowing at our table. There are better restaurants in the area. The bottom line is it's all about the food.

Average ... My wife started with the potato soup. It was pretty good but nothing more than potato, cheese, cream, and bacon ... pretty hard to screw up. I was supposed to get a Caesar salad to start but it did not come out until the main course. The greens were fresh, but the dressing was extra fishy in aroma and taste. For my entree i had the nachos. They were intriguing because they were supposed to have sausage in them. Needless to say i think i may have had one bite where i could taste any sausage whatsoever, so i was disappointed... tasty in theory i guess. Other than that... Crescent rolls - average Chix fingers - average Service - not bad (other than receiving my salad late) The best thing about the restaurant was the patrons that kept our little ones entertained!
