Located across the street from the Wal-Mart parking lot, you will need to plan on a place to eat after you receive your order as Lawler's is take-out only. There is a walk-up path but driving is definitely more convenient. The specialty of the house is BBQ baked potatoes, which has a generous amount of BBQ pork in a huge tomato. They have a range of BBQ food that includes ribs, pork, turkey and ham. Their Brunswick Stew has the pork in it and is a great choice on these cold winter days.

I have tried bbq nachos and their bbq baked potato and I must say they have that small owner taste which is rare nowdays. Would recommed it if you enjoy bbq

I was having trouble deciding what to order so they gave me a sample of ham, pork and turkey (smoked.) The samples were big enough I didn't really need dinner! All were yummy, with nice smoky taste. The Banana pudding was excellent too - fresh bananas and real whipped cream. This is take out only. They take credit cards.

Good pulled pork, and this juicy meat on a salad (with barbeque sauce as dressing) is a must have on a summer night. This is a great local place. Have a plan in mind if you want to road trip for this gem, because there are no amenities for the travelers. If this place ever adds a bathroom, picnic tables and trashcan watch out world! At that point I say this would be a place to drive a couple of hours to enjoy some really top notch barbeque.

Really good drive up BBQ. Its reasonably priced with some great choices. If you like lemonade then order a gallon of theirs. Its delicious.

There aren't many great food choices in Lewisburg. Most are poor fast food opportunities. LawLars BBQ might be one of the better places to eat in town. We drove up and walked around the place and couldn't find a door and were told by a guy taking out the trash it's drive through only, which was a major disappointment. Meanwhile, after driving down the strip we realized there was nothing better and circled back around. The girls working the window are courteous, friendly and work hard to ensure there's a quick turnaround in orders to keep the line moving. The BBQ is affordable and the portions are large. If this place was in a large city it'd be slightly better than average, but around here there's nothing better and the locals obviously love it. We tried several things, all of which were very good. The potatoes are similar to what you'd order at Jason's Deli or McAlisters (and if you're from the city you've been to these many times). In Lewisburg, this item is special and many think it's one of a kind, but they serve it exactly the same everywhere else. The one difference here is adding pulled pork in it an fortunately there's is awesome. We also tried the turkey and pork and I asked for it naked, giving me a perfect opportunity to taste the true flavor (although I did add their sweet sauce). Both are top-notch, although having to eat in your car was a drawback. Meanwhile, this place is loved, locally, and if you find yourself in Lewisburg, it's more than worth a drive through. Unfortunately, there's no place to sit down and enjoy the food. If there was this place would be legendary!

Stuffed potatoes are the best I've ever had and they are huge. This place has become my favorite bbq place because the staff is always nice, the service is very quick, and the food has always been amazing.
