Won't be going here again. EVER! The environment was awful, flies everywhere! No one greeted us or told us what to do when we walked in and not friendly. The catfish was awful, tasted bad and seemed fake. Probably would have been ok if the catfish seemed fresh or not like imitation catfish and if there weren't flies swarming around us! Called and complained but they didn't seem to care

Evidently everyone gets a trophy or award for making BBQ. The meal we had today was below average. Not impressed and will not return. 1. BBQ was ok. A little dry and on the bland side. 2. Catfish was awful. Thin, over cooked and tasteless. 3. Fried green tomatoes were undercooked and slimy. 4. Smoked chicken could pass for baked chicken. No smoke flavor. Update: 7/23/15 The Owner is genuinely concerned. I'm certain he will work closely with his staff to ensure future experiences are better than ours. I applaud Todd for reaching out.

Took the kids who are BBQ afficianados via the Lone Star State and California. We ordered the big J with ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork. We chose Mac n cheese, cole slaw, broccoli casserole and baked beans. It was ALL great! The folks at Ble Moon rock! We shall return. We drove from Livingston, TN and will do it again. Don't forget the banana pudding!!!

My coworker walked in with a plate from Tom's, and it honestly smelled really good! I placed a to-go order over the phone. The guy seemed like he was in a rush or something. He didn't ask me for a name or number, nothing to associate me with my order. When I walked in, I told one associate that I had placed an order over the phone, and he was completely clueless. Turns out he guy that took the order completely ignored it. I had to wait for them to cook it. Super inconvenient!! I got a catfish plate of course. It was decent. I'll assume I caught them at a bad time.

For all the bragging on Yelp, this place was a big was a big disappointment! The brisket tasted like roast beef...no smokey flavor what so ever. And apparently the only seasoning in the bark was salt and plenty of it! The mac & cheese and mashed potatoes sides were good, but the potions were small and precisely metered out...finally the hot sauce was mostly Tabasco... Not my idea of authentic BBQ at all.

Puzzled why everyone likes this so much. It was better than the ham sandwich I was gonna make at home but...only one sauce that tasted like pancake syrup with a kick. My Mac and cheese that I watched the last of get scraped out of a tin was what it was. Flat cornbread was good. Edley's in East Nashville destroys this.

BLUF: Brisket was amazing, pulled pork was good. Meat plate felt a bit overpriced, but stick to sandwhiches/specials and the prices are fine. I stopped into Blue Moon BBQ in the middle of a trip from Murfreesboro, TN to Lynchburg, VA. It happened to be near the gas station I had to stop at, which worked out beautifully for me. I came in at 2 or 3 on a Friday (day after Christmas) and the place was pretty much deserted. Staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending the lunch specials they were still running (which I should have taken them up on). I ended up ordering the two meat plate with a drink. I got brisket and pulled pork with mac n cheese and fries and cornbread. The brisket was amazing, and the pulled pork was quite good as well. The cornbread comes in little pancake shaped pieces, and despite the fact that I typically only like very sweet cornbread, I actually really enjoyed the cornbread here, so be sure to give that a shot. Sides were both good, but nothing to write home about. I paid about $15 for my meal, which seems like a bit much, but the meat really was amazing so I'm not complaining. There are various bottles and signs lining the walls, which was enough to keep me visually interested for my meal (I came in alone). The men's restroom has a bunch of tire rims on the ceiling, which seemed odd, but kinda cool.

Excellent BBQ. The brisket looked and tasted delicious - moist and flavorful. My boyfriend said the smoked chicken was the best he's had. The mac & cheese was really good - the other sides were ok but not spectacular. I can definitely envision regularly getting carry-out of their meat. The prices were very reasonable. Definitely not fancy inside, but friendly staff and great food!

Delicious! Loved everything we tried: chicken, brisket, broccoli casserole, Mac n cheese, sweet potato waffle fries, nachos. Cute atmosphere, clean. Chicken tenders were a miss for my son. But everything else was a big hit with the whole crew! Portions are ample and price was good.

Decent BBQ but nothing to write home about. The ambiance was pretty interesting with many photos from past famous visitors including the guys from American Pickers. Sauces were good but the smoked turkey was dry. Pulled pork and brisket were both ok. Prices aren't bad, if you want one meat, two sides and a piece of bread it's around $10, a combo with two meats is about $12.

We dined here this past Saturday night. 2 stars are for atmosphere and the friendly gal at the register. The BBQ was not good. We tried all of the meats; I had the 3 meats and 2 sides and hubby had 4 meats with 2 sides. The turkey (not edible) and chicken were really dry and no flavor. The pork, brisket and ribs were just okay. The smoked bologna and sausage were better than the other meats as they still retained some moisture. Nothing here was fresh out of a smoker. The meat all seemed to me stored in foil in the warmer drawers below the line. The mac an cheese was however, delish. The were out of corn bread when we ordered and told us they would bring in out. We never received it. The only thing this place did have going for it was it's NC BBQ sauce. That was excellent. And the atmosphere. They had a live country band called 2country4nashville. I won't be back. There are too many other BBQ joints that get it right.

We came here on a whim, after leaving Ryans' from being over packed. It blew us away. Good amount of food, for a reasonable price. Best of all, the Sweet & Sassy BBQ Sauce they have on the table tastes just amazing. I have had some award winning BBQ sauce, and this just blew it out of the water. It goes good on everything they have. Pulled pork, chicken, fries, chips, toast, cornbread, you name it! If you are in this area, I can't recommend this place enough! Try it out!

My last visit several months ago was horrible. I spoke to the owner, he listened to my concerns and apologized. I did say I would give this place another try. I did today. Still had an awful experience. Cold, old food. They forgot part of my order, and what I saw one of the cooks do was absolutely disgusting and horrible food handling. Safe to say, I wont be displeased a third time.

Our dining experience at Tom's might have been entirely different on any other night, but by chance my dining partner and I arrived on Clown Night. Smitty the Clown was attending a table of several children, and we assumed there was a child's party with a hired clown... but no, Smitty (whose button says he works for tips) chatted us up and offered to make us a balloon hat. We declined. The cashier told us that Smitty works every other Wednesday. Our meal was punctuated by the occasional balloon pop and the squeak of balloons being twisted into animal shapes. Beyond the clown, we thought the brisket was very good, some of the sides seemed like typical supermarket or canned fare, others appeared homemade, like the broccoli casserole. The banana pudding was very good and homemade. We would have liked table service instead of a cafeteria-style line, and we thought the cashier's procedure of turning the touch screen toward us and offering the opportunity to add a tip (when there was no table service) was a little presumptuous. Prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are hearty. Smitty's presence made for an odd night out and overwhelmed what would otherwise have been a decent barbecue dinner.

Dinner and a show tonight. Woooo. Succulent ribs, well seasoned, and smoked. The sides were ok, nothing special, but I really enjoyed the duo singing old country songs.

Really good dry rub brisket & ribs. Some of the best BBQ I've had. Want to try the "Elvis Taco": pulled pork & coleslaw on flat cornbread. Thumbs up :-)

    (5)
  • Manuel R.

The ribs were tender and falling off the bone. The brisket was a tad dry. The tater salad and cole slaw were good. I do recommend having a spicier / hotter BBQ sauce. The 3 sauces they had were all similar in taste. I would having given them a higher rating if the cashier had not grabbed my Texas Toast with her bare hands and put it on my plate!!!

  • Carolyn M.

The ambience is perfectly BBQ with wood paneling, hot sauce bottle-decor, and pig figurines about. Reasonably priced at around $10 a plate, the portions are huge. The line moved pretty slowly for precooked foods though. Nacho cheese on the BBQ nachos was a disappointing chemical bath, but the meat's good and I suppose that's why you get BBQ, after all. Smoked chicken was good and not to dry.

If I am craving barbecue this is the only place I'll go. It's very tasty! Their barbecue sauce is amazing! I haven't had a meat here I didn't like. Their sides are good. I like the way they've decorated. On Saturday nights I believe they have bands come and play so you can enjoy live music with your food. I've discovered it's more crowded on Sundays after church than any other time I've ever been, even Saturday nights. Here recently they raised their prices. It's sort of on the expensive side, so.. You get what you pay for. The only frustrating thing is several times I've drove by to get a to-go order or grab dinner and they're closed.. Like at 8pm. I can't figure out their hours of business.

Fantastic BBQ that was above and beyond every expectation I had. From the sweet tea to the fried pie, all of it was amazing. Definitely worth even your hardest earned dollars.

I lived in the neighborhood for 8 months before trying this place, but I won't wait that long to come back. You know you found a fantastic place when you're planning what you're going to order next time while eating your first meal there. I got a pulled pork sandwich (juicy, smoky) with mac n cheese (creamy, flavorful) and broccoli casserole (fresh, lightly cheesy). My girl got the chicken sandwich and was very happy with the smoked flavor. We both used the sweet and sassy BBQ sauce which was nothing short of fantastic. Her brother got a full rack of ribs (dry rub, hint of mustard, fall off the bone). They didn't stand a chance. Staff? Fast enough to fill your order in the blink of an eye and patient enough to understand how overwhelmed you must be with all the delicious choices they provide. I warn you not to go overboard. The portions are dangerously generous and I couldn't finish my sides (but I tried, dammit!). They're right off route 40. They're crazy affordable. You deserve it!

AWESOME! AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! FANTASTIC! if you live in Lebanon tn, you are in luck! if you are passing through and want something that will blow your face off, stop here at Tom's! I highly recommend the Texas style brisket! Since I hail from good ole Texas, I know a good brisket when I see one, and when I saw this tender slab, I knew I was in for a treat! great smoke ring, tender, flavorful... you don't need BBQ sauce for this bad boy, but they do offer two kinds... sweet and thick or spicy vinegar, and they are tasty. I got the pulled pork sandwich too, which was great, but I will dream about that brisket... I've spent the whole rest of the afternoon thinking about that sandwich! I'm so glad I have leftovers! the Mac and cheese was awesome flavorful and creamy! the potato salad was great, as was the cole slaw... just enough mayo! I can't wait to go back for the rest of the menu! smoked sausages and chicken make me happy!!

    (4)
  • Joe G.

The pulled pork was clean tasting and yummy. The hot bbq sauce is truly hot! I prefer a creamier smaller cut slaw, but that is personal taste; it did have a nice spice though.

This location used to be called Paul's BBQ. Paul's was okay, nothing special, it was usually dead, and the food was "meh". Tom's Blue Moon is a fresh change worth trying in order to reprogram your minds realization that good food is now available at that location. The Decor: Goofy antiques and rural folk art on the walls. The Staff: Friendly and Helpful. The Service: Cafeteria Style. The Food I Ate: They Smoke Whole Poultry Carcasses, unlike many of the local BBQ's in Nashville who merely smoke a giant water packed chunk of Cisco Meat. (Dicks). I recommend the smoked turkey and chicken off the top. The Brisket was fantastic, with a deep flavorful crust on it, smoked by a master. My Dish: They like to have fun on the menu, and I am all for fun so I didn't flinch at the chance to consume the "Elvis Taco", variating the dish by doubling down on the protein, half turkey, half brisket. What can I say, I'm a smart mother fucker. Do it! The Elvis Taco is assembled thusly: A giant freshly-made thin corn cake on the bottom. Lovingly place the meat atop the corn cake. Top with freshly made creamy coleslaw. Sit your ass down and eat. They have 4-5 sauces that did a good job covering the regional variations of the south-east, and Kansas City. However they were off the mark with putting together a solid "MIddle Tennessee Sauce". Who cares, Omnomnomnomnmonomnomnom. Go there if you are stuck in Lebanon.

Martin's, Mickey roo's, Jim and nick's be on guard cause their is a new contender for top pulled pork in middle Tennessee! I actually believe this restaurant has been open before in a different location but i never dined there so I hold no preconceived notions about tom's current product. I have eaten here two times now and i must say in their defense that both times i have arrived 15 minutes before closing so i understand its harder to keep the food fresh later into the evening. That being said i can also say both times i dined at blue moon i saw people sprinting from their cars to the front door right at closing time screaming like lunatics about how far they had driven and how much they needed some brisket. SO let's get to it: THE FOOD. Their pulled pork in my opinion is what they can hang their hat on. It was love at frist bite. They have 5 homemade sauces that can be added but its not necessary. That may have gotten them 5 stars right their but the second time i visited them the pork was a little dry. Next i tried the brisket. The first time it had good flavor but was very dense. maybe needed cooking a little more just to make it fall apart or maybe that piece of meat just did not have as much fat as some. By my second visit the brisket problem was gone. This time it was awesome. Tom's ribs also have good flavor, bark and texture. They did not make my personal Mt. Rushmore of ribs but I would recommend anyone to try them. Other great and or unique things that one must try while eating here: * Cornbread.... They cook it right after you order like your personal pancake. * Taco.... Once again Homemade shell with your choice of meat covered with slaw.. yumm * Homemade broccoli casserole. Mixing BBQ and comfort food.. A natural fit. * Free green olives and spicy pickles with every meal. I never would have thought of this but it is great especially when you get a combination plate. The olives act as a pallet cleanser when you go between dishes. Genius. In summation since this location is relatively new their is still some inconsistencies in the food from day to day but overall it is an awesome addition to the BBQ wars! I shall return multiple times

We were driving from Nashville to Knoxville and consulted Yelp for a BBQ joint for lunch. SO happy we found Tom's Blue Moon BBQ!!! Everything was fantastic. Food was delicious, well seasoned, and huge portions. The man behind the counter was awesome...incredibly helpful and friendly. My wife saw the guy before us getting what we thought was Turkey, so she ordered that...when we realized that it was actually their smoked Chicken Breast that we saw, he happily brought some of it over so she could enjoy it...and enjoy she did...it was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. My brisket was also perfect. Beautifully crunchy, flavorful, and peppery bark...juicy meat. Mac & Cheese and Broccoli Casserole were also great. I loved how they did their "cornbread" as pancakes...made to order. A great touch. We left full, with leftovers, and some sauce and rub to go. Every trip we take between Knoxville and Nashville will contain a stop at Tom's from now on! P.S. They ship anywhere in the US...we have some pretty darn good BBQ in Charleston, but the chicken and brisket from Tom's might cause us to order some long distance BBQ!

The service and taste were top notch. We got the Big Jay to feed our family of seven, and it suited us just fine. This is a good stop when you are driving through this part of the world...or worth the drive over from Nashville like we might do again some time.

Very nice place with great service!!! My wife and I split the special with 3 meats and 3 sides for only $22. Liked the ribs and Texas Brisket...they were both moist and flavorful!!!! However, the pork was dry and would rate it as below average unless you like dry pork. The sides we got were fries, beans and mashed potatoes.....all very tasty!!! We tried the sweet & sassy and sweet & spicy sauces....thought they were both good!!! Would say overall this place is a must try. I'd go there again, but wife wouldn't.

Google rerouted us from Indianapolis and we found this quick sit down BBQ joint on the way back to Atlanta Georgia. So glad we stopped. The sweet sauce is unique and tasty. The brisket cuts easily with a fork (no knife needed here. It's done right). The pulled pork isn't greasy and the sauce compliments without over doing it. Coleslaw isn't too wet and breaks up the meal nicely. The Broccoli Cassarole is just sinful. I don't know what they did to it, but it just tastes right for all the wrong reasons. Family friendly and will definitely be back.

Great ribs and brisket. Love their rub. Our "go to" spot for BBQ, fresh sides (fresh fries made in house-- getting harder to find these now days). No exaggeration- better than the three very good places we tried in Austin, any other place we have found in TN, and even better ribs than Dreamland.

Stopped in while passing through. Tried the pulled pork and beef brisket combo plate with Cole slaw and broccoli casserole. Brisket the definite winner of the two - excellent bark. Pair it with the Sweet and Spicy sauce and you're good to go!

moment of silence please. this place was that great. i had to stop after the first bite of macaroni and the first piece of brisket, and pause to savor it, it was that good. "jesse m"'s review was only 2 stars saying the brisket had a lot of fat on it, but, brisket is supposed to have fat, and i have to say, it was some of the best tasting fat i've ever had, seriously. we didn't notice that much fat on our brisket, but seriously, it woulda been okay if there was. i even made a tiny brisket fat sandwich with some of our texas toast. :) my husband and i had a groupon for it, and we got the jay boy plate with 1/4 rack of ribs, 1/4 lb brisket, and pork---but since we don't eat pork, they let us sub that serving for extra brisket. our sides were macaroni and fries. they make everything in house, and you can tell. the dry rub seasoning on the ribs was amazing, and the brisket was fall apart tender (with the best tasting fat i've ever had). i could go on and on like a giddy school girl about this place, but that would probably border on creepy, so i'll just leave it at "this is our new go-to barbque place".

I have lived in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky... this place has the BEST RIBS EVER! I have never ate myself sick from BBQ, but I just couldn't stop myself here. Amazing ribs! Best ribs this side of the Mississippi! I'll testify to it! Good atmosphere, good staff. I wish I had a reason to go to Nashville, just so I can get more of this food! Unfortunately, I'm living 16 hours away now... but I will be back!

After a day at Center Hill Lake, we were in the mood for some BBQ. Yelp helped us locate Blue Moon just off the interstate and it was a great find! Delicious brisket and pulled pork. Huge sandwiches (and we got the "regular"). Wonderful smoky flavor. I also really liked the sauces I tried - sweet and spicy and interesting in a good way. I did not try the mac and cheese, but the pre-teen in our group ate every bite of his, so I think it was a hit. Very friendly service. Highly recommend for some tasty BBQ.

The bbq and sides were great, I'd definitely eat here again! I've never tried a fried peach pie... my only complaint is that their fried peach pie was way too greasy. I couldn't eat it, the guilt was overwhelming.

Good BBQ for the money. Enjoy the atmosphere, try the Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich on Texas Toast bread rather than a regular bun. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the consistency of the quality of meet. Sometimes the pulled pork is too soggy, most of the time it is correct. Staff is friendly, but not overbearing. They let you eat in peace.

While in Lebanon we searched Yelp for some good BBQ. Found Tom's and decided to visit based on the few reviews. What a good choice! We visited for lunch and had the Elvis Taco. It was a cornbread tortilla (think pancake) stuffed with pulled pork. So tasty. The group I was with tried the brisket. We were all very happy with our choices. In fact, we liked it so much we decided to get some take out for dinner. We used the very helpful $40 for $20 coupon from Yelp. We ordered 3lbs or brisket and 2 racks of ribs. Everyone at the dinner was very happy with the taste and wanted to know where we had acquired the Q. Out last day in Lebanon, we needed to eat lunch. Guess where we went? Had the two meat plate - ribs & sausage. POSITIVES: great food, helpful staff, decent prices - especially for BBQ. NEGATIVES: a/c was not very functional, on different days they were out of chicken and Peanut Butter Pie.

YUMMO!! Love the food here. We ALWAYS have leftovers to take home, and the staff is super friendly. The ONLY place where I eat the brisket, and now that's my favorite thing! The mac & cheese is delish, and don't even get me started about the banana pudding... :D

Passing through the area and found this place through Yelp. Tried pulled pork and brisket. Best brisket I've had. Pork was good too. Friendly service - I was "patted" three times. When I left, a bluegrass band was starting to play. Would definitely like to go back.

While visiting Nashville I had obtained a restaurant.com gift certificate and wanted some BBQ. So I thought I'd try this place out. The food was good, the one BBQ sauce wasn't bad. It was great portion size. The service was excellent. If you're in the area, there's no reason you shouldn't stop in.

Solid bbq all around. Brisket is well above avwrage. Ribs are too reliant on sauce and rub for flavor. They would be better with less. Sides are all good quality, and staff is very friendly, even if you use a coupon.

We stopped in on our way to Baltimore from reviews on here. The customer service was awesome. The food was really good especially the broccoli casserole. The tacos did however say they were served in corn tortillas but they came flour. Other than that, really good joint to have some BBQ.

BBQ is my favorite type of food and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed with this place. I work in Mt. Juliet and read the reviews of Tom's so I was excited to check it out. It's got some awesome decor so I was even more excited when I walked in. They were cutting the brisket by hand in front of the customer so they are definitely doing some things right. I got the combo plate. Brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, fried okra, and Texas toast. The mac and cheese and Texas toast were awesome. The brisket could've been really good but he left a ton of fat on it so I was picking through it and the rub was too salty IMO. The tenderness was definitely there though. The pulled pork was flat-out dry and the okra was okay. A dry piece of pork can be helped with a great BBQ sauce, but that was another problem. The sauces were terrible. The sweet was WAY too sweet, the hot was WAY too sweet with no kick and the Carolina Mustard sauce was plain awful. Maybe I just picked a bad day because this place seems to have the potential to be a 4 star review. I'll be back to see if they can win me over.

  • Steve A.

Deceptively good and filling. The place looked a little kitschy, not overcrowded for a Friday night, so I wasn't sure where the Yelp reviewers had led me. The combo plates looked pretty small - I mean, it's under 10 bucks with meat and 2 sides, so what would you expect? I was less than thrilled. That is, until I laid into some good pulled pork drowning in BBQ sauce. Some broccoli casserole and BBQ beans later (the server seemed noticeably enthused when I selected the beans) and suddenly I barely had room for the generously large, cloyingly sweet banana pudding. Sure, I've had better BBQ in the South (usually at tiny holes in the wall in random tiny towns), but this is real Southern BBQ, and that's the best kind. They do it right.

Cannot believe this find!!!! The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The broccoli casserole was close to perfect. We also tried the smoke chicken and it was extremely flavorful. We enjoyed the live music and smitty the clown was entertaining. Stopping here was a wonderful idea!!!

I really don't understand where all of the great reviews come from. The food was terrible. The worst BBQ my wife or I have had, ever. My wife and I ordered the pulled pork plate. The pulled pork was dry, completely devoid of flavor with no crust. When you get BBQ like this, one hopes that the sauces will redeem the meat. Not a chance. The sweet BBQ sauce tasted like Ketchup with a ton of brown sugar (yes, I know these are the main ingredients but this was overwhelming). The spicy sauce tasted like the sweet with a boatload of pepper. Mashed potatoes were instant and overly seasoned with onion and/or garlic powder. Inedible. The collards tasted canned, without much flavor. The mac and cheese was nothing special. Unfortunately, it was the best thing on our plates. There's no chance I will go here again. Not even a decent BBQ joint.

Went there tonight based solely on a Yelp review. Good golly Miss Molly was the food amazing!!!! Never had anything like it!!!! A must for your taste buds! I just completed a BBQ trail to San Antonio and back to Tenessee. I ate at 8 highly rated BBQ restaurants in 6 states. Let me tell you that the best brisket in six states is Blue Moon BBQ in Lebanon Tennessee. We have been going to Blue Moon for over 3 years and I can tell you that Todd and his crew are experts in BBQ. My favorites are the brisket, sausage and pulled pork. My wife loves the chicken nacho platter and the smoked wings. The side items are also very good. I hope you get a chance to taste the blackberry cobbler - or the banana pudding - fantastic. My wife and I both think Blue Moon has great BBQ. Not only is the BBQ great, they also have live music on Saturday nights.

Lunch: half rack, chips, beans and cornbread. The chips and the free wi-fi were the highlights. The sauces were awful and tasted like corn syrup. The ribs dry and came plastic wrapped and microwaved, so I assume they were not fresh. The beans were practically dry and the little dot of sauce they were in was thinner than if they'd emptied a can of Bush's. The hoe cake was okay but a bit soggy. And now my belly hurts. Not coming back.

Great food, great atmosphere and friendly employees. This place is fantastic. Blue Moon stands up with the best barbecue joints in Nashville and Memphis, including those well-publicized on cable television. The ribs and potato salad were excellent and flavorful. I loved the hot BBQ sauce. Portions are very large and great prices. The big surprise? The chicken wings! I'm a wing snob and I can say these are hands down the best in the Nashville area. What put this place over the top was the manager on duty stopping by to talk and ask us if we were satisfied (we were). We talked Ford Mustangs and it turns out the next door neighbor is a Mustang hobbyist with a business and garages. I'll be happy to give these good people my business again.

I am usually a vegetable girl, but being a Texan and having a dad who treasured his Grand Champion bbq trophy i had to try this restaurant. The brisket was tender and flavorful. I did miss the traditional pinto beans & potato salad but if I start missing it again I shall return.

This place was on our way to TN for my birthday road trip- and we stopped bc we were starving-- It looked empty when we pulled up so I wasnt sure if they were open, turns out we got there just in time! The line started piling in while we were waiting for our food. I love the atmosphere of this place as well as we the food-- and the service was impeccable. We had ordered a Blue Moon--- they were out--- We had ordered a miller lite- they were out.. apparently they were outta all beer...uhh weird? The owner came back about 10 minutes later with our Blue Moon, which i personally though was pretty special.... thats great service right thurr! The BBQ was soooo good, and nothing i had dissappointed---If we're ever back thay way, we will definitely be back!

This place is a 30 min drive from our home in Nashville, but well worth it. The ribs are amazing. I do not like to eat anything off the bone and I practically lick the bones clean at this place! The rub on them is wonderful and the meat is so tender. The pulled pork is free of fat. I am only pointing this out because the last 2 BBQ places I tried in Nashville had very fatty pork. The sides are great too and the portions are big. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent.

Took almost 20 minutes to get my to go order after I arrived, and it was sitting there ready the whole time. 3 employees helping 1 customer while I waited. They left my macaroni in the oven and turned it into a dried brick of noodles. Ordered 2 quarts of broccoli casserole, one was green and the other was brown and they both had very odd taste. Was burping broccoli casserole for hours after dinner. Ribs were tender but greasy. Pulled pork was dry. And the sweet sauce tastes like molasses. 2 stars only because I've been there once before with no problems and good food. Maybe isolated event.

Unfortunately, I'm living 16 hours away now... but I will be back!

moment of silence please. this place was that great. i had to stop after the first bite of macaroni and the first piece of brisket, and pause to savor it, it was that good.

  • Dan J.

The ribs were nice and smokey with a bit of a sweet and peppery rub. Unfortunately they use the same rub on the chicken and pulled pork. All were good, but the seasoning really worked with the ribs. Was not a fan of the deep fried peach pie. I was really looking forward to it, but the dough soaked up way too much grease. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back. Had a really good time.

My favorite BBQ place ever! The meats are to die for and the sides incredible. The sauces are perfect and you honestly don't need the sauces because the meat taste perfect without it. They are super friendly and you can get awesome deals with yelp and groupon.

So good! The beef brisket is perfect, the sides and breads are delicious, and most importantly the people are SO nice. The main guy (Tom?) came over to our table to chat with us for a while. My mom had the pork and ribs and said they were also great. A+!

Try it out!

Fantastic BBQ that was above and beyond every expectation I had. From the sweet tea to the fried pie, all of it was amazing. Definitely worth even your hardest earned dollars.

In Lebanon, there is no better place for Bar-B-Que. The brisket is outstanding!

Hands down the best BBQ I have had in my life. Their brisket is simply the best. Their sides are top notch. It is well worth the short drive from Nashville to eat here. The owner and all employees are genuine and down to earth.

Passing through the area and found this place through Yelp. Tried pulled pork and brisket. Best brisket I've had. Pork was good too. Friendly service - I was "patted" three times. When I left, a bluegrass band was starting to play. Would definitely like to go back.

Good pulled pork and excellent beef brisket. Large servings for the price. Creamy Mac and cheese. Banana pudding was nice dessert. Added treat was live bluegrass band Sat evening.

We stopped in on our way to Baltimore from reviews on here. The customer service was awesome. The food was really good especially the broccoli casserole. The tacos did however say they were served in corn tortillas but they came flour. Other than that, really good joint to have some BBQ.

If you are in Lebanon Tennessee and you have a hankering for some really good BBQ, this is your place. The beef brisket is the best in town by far. The prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.
