Super impressed!!! The food was fresh, the establishment was clean, and our waitress was AMAZING! (I think her name was Nikki?). We had been traveling so it was a nice break to be able to have a great lunch. We will definitely come back if we are ever up that way again!

It's a trough restaurant with people in and out and standing in line and kids and kids and kids! Standard breakfast of melons, oranges, powdered eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, French toast and French toast sticks, grits, potatoes, and Mexican rice (yes, really). All of moderately hot. The dining room, breakfast bar, bathrooms, and kitchen appear clean. Servers clear plates and check on coffee. It's a trough restaurant. Nothing new to report.

I'm not sure if things have changed since the other reviewer's or if They just came at a bad time. But we've always had great service & great food here. We've been here for breakfast several times now and always order a couple of eggs in addition to the bar. The bar is usually great and the eggs are always great; this place knows how to make eggs over medium correctly. We talked to the owner who has been here the last two times. She sent someone to clean the men's room right away when I told her about the smell. Nice lady.

Have tried multiple times to eat on a Sunday. We go in and the hostesses stand around talking while we wait to be seated. The food is gross. Horrible macaroni. Food and soups not labeled. Cold food on the hot bar. WARM seafood salad. Dry and gross bread pudding. Never going back.

Horrible customer service. I will never subject my family to the types of people that run this place of business or work in this establishment again. I took my family and we were seated near a tv. The show was inappropriate and was loud enough my children could hear the cursing and see the half nude women as well. I asked one of the servers to turn it down or off so my kids wouldn't half to hear it and was basically ignored. As we got up to just leave we again told the staff at the door why and they were nonchalant about it. My wife went back in an told the manager and he acted as if he didn't care and wasn't bothered about our offense to the program. Also the 2 people watching the program that refused to change it or turn it down were employees of the restaurant. Business ran like this one should be shut down.

This review is about the burgers... nothing else... well the service too! I can't believe i'm about to write a review for Shoney's... and it's a good one! Not that there is anything wrong with big chain restaurants. There is obviously something desirable about them, or they wouldn't be in business. When we got to Shoney's a few nights ago, i wasn't jumping up and down for my meal, but the burger changed my mind... I ordered the BBQ bacon burger. The patty was obviously hand formed. They say their meat is never frozen and grain fed, i believe it. The char was wonderful, they served it pink, which i like, and the meat was tender and flavorful (NO musty flavor). There was a LOT of delicious CRISPY bacon on it and the BBQ sauce was good, not amazing, but good! The fries were cooked perfectly and were also delicious. The service was awesome too! We had a great waiter named Dillon, who was very friendly and attentive! If you live in Lebanon and are looking for a tasty burger, i highly recommend stopping at Shoney's.

Clean salad bar. Small salad area, no frills. If you like Southern cooking, the hot bar would make you happy. This was a dieters nightmare for salad bars.

I have always seen this building from the outside and wanted to try it. Keep in mind this review is for the salad bar + staff that serviced my party ONLY (I cannot comment on the actual menu items as I did not have that). I was not impressed. The salad bar was small and did not have the best of variety. The fried chicken was good but not enough to make up for the rest of the selection. The rest of the salad bar seemed like it was separated by dinner items, the salad area, and the breakfast area. The salad area looked fresh but small. The dinner area had two soup selections, very sad-looking meatloaf that I didn't even attempt to try, fried chicken, and a few other things. The breakfast area had french toast sticks (which were OK), pancakes (wasn't particularly tasty to me), eggs, grits, and a few other items. Our waitress was good and gave good service. She did forget to give our entire party straws for our drinks, but that is not a big deal. She did her job and was adequate at it. I was disappointed in the overall experience, and given the choice I would rather spend around the same amount at Cracker Barrel or Demos'.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. Was rolling out of nashville about 10am one sunday morn and had to make the choice of here or WH and I chose this as I wanted to eat immediately and knew they had a buffet. I sat down, got drinks and made my way to the bar, nothing unusual. I sat down and ate and was not delicious but was filling . Decided to go back for more, had to wait in line and started looking around. First of all, ALL the decorations over the food bar are covered with gunk and dust, NASTY. I then looked at the light fixtures and other stuff around the food bar, decided I was going to get sick at the filth and decided to leave. I guess Wilson county does not have active health inspectors nor does Shoney's have a viable manager at that store. This was so nasty I left and won't return.
