This is a good mid-point for me and my family to meet and eat sometimes. I had held off to review until I had the chance to dine a few times. My overall conclusion is that it is great when it isn't busy at all, OK when it is somewhat busy, and not good when it is packed. There is definitely a loss of quality in the food when they are trying to move plates through. Just keep that in mind. My advice? Would recommend if it isn't too crowded. Fav breakfast: french toast Fav dinner: the haddock meal Fav veggies: okra and mashed potatoes Perks: - love the biscuits - waiter service is generally good - wait time for tables is acceptable - rockers outside are nice - decent parking lot size Quirks: - if you are the sit and speak politely type then the volume that it gets at times will be hard for you - shopping area is tight and 3-4 workers always on the move watching everything that moves - restrooms need some updating/replacement...worn

When in the south it seems mandatory to try Cracker Barrel. This is my second visit to this chain restaurant always with the hope of getting some good southern dish. The vegetables are so over cooked every time that it's mush. The entrees are mediocre. I had the fish, it was fresh, but nothing memorable as far as spices or how it was prepped. I'll probably pass on this restaurant next time I'm in the south and look for an authentic hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. However... They do have a good gift shop/store!

Cody was our server today. Great job, fast service, friendly and fun. He also did great with a difficult customer. I love that this place is in our home town.

Decent store for Cracker Barrel. For some reason this particular one was slow to bring food. As CB go...it's like the rest, just a Tennessee "feel".

Not bad for a Cracker Barrel. I usually have the worst luck with this chain but this location actually gave us great food and the chef knew what he/she was doing. Even the biscuits were as great as my first visit ever to a Cracker Barrel. The cola chocolate cake was moist and so good; refined sugar and all things bad but tastes so good. I had a veggie omlet and the Mr. had scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and french toast.

Ordered two breakfast sandwiches for takeout, one on wheat toast, one on a biscuit, both with scrambled egg and bacon. I called in the order and was told 15 minutes. It ended up being 40 minutes by the time our food was ready (we had an 8 hour drive ahead). I got to the car and we realized it was cold, and they gave us plates of food instead of sandwiches. We had to assemble the sandwiches, no napkins and no cutlery. The two "sandwiches" I ordered along with a tea and coffee were $20 including a tip I paid for before they told me the wait would be indefinite. We could've gone to numerous fast food restaurants for half the price and gotten better service. I'm sending a copy of this review to the manager and requesting a refund. I will update it with their response.

My family and I showed up to Cracker Barrel at 9:25pm for a quick bite to eat after a long car ride back from our vacation. This location closes at 11pm. We sat down, we were put in a corner facing the wall. There was 12 of us. The whole set up was ridiculous. So we sat down, ordered our drinks and then our food. About 20 minutes after ordering... Our server comes out and says "we don't have anymore dumplings". 6 out of the 12 of us ordered the chicken and dumplings. So we all had to pick something else to order. As we order our food, the server tells us they are out of Broccoli. So yet another thing they don't have. After he takes our order for the second time, a huge beetle walks across the table. The server comes back again to go over our orders again. So this was 10 minutes after they took our order the second time. So finally our food comes out and so does the manager to ask how everything is. We all say how bad it's been. We didn't have any silver wear or napkins either. 5 minutes into eating the server comes to my grandma and says "we don't have gravy so here's chicken broth instead". It was a spoon full of broth for her big plate of mashed potatoes. The manager comes back to let us know that he will be sending out desserts. We waited... And nothing. Our checks come and nothing is taken off. I highly recommend that no one ever returns to this place. Absolutely horrible. Everything from the tables, to the servers who were Andrew and Alicia, and to the manager. Actually I recommend never going to a Cracker Barrel ever again. I will be calling upper management about this place also. I feel that one star is to much for this place but I had to in order to post this.

We stopped here on our way down to Florida. It was not an enjoyable experience. I've never been a fan of Cracker Barrel to begin with, but I'd been sick for a few days and really wanted some comfort food. Plus, we were hungry and it was the first restaurant we found. The service was some of the worst I've ever had. The server didn't check on us once, except to ask us for our order. She was painfully slow in every other way. She stopped to talk to her regulars, to the other servers, whatever--but our table was apparently far out of her way. We were one of her three tables, by the way. We practically had to beg for anything we needed or wanted, the food took forever to come out, and when it did, I realized why I don't like going to Cracker Barrel. I had pancakes with berries on top, and they were mediocre at best. The experience did nothing to convert me back to Cracker Barrel.

The crack house is what I miss most about living in Tennessee! They make the best chicken salad sandwich ever!

The food here isn't great, but it's pretty good and very consistent. Wait times to be seated are usually pretty reasonable and the staff is usually pretty attentive and quick to get your food to you. The gift shop is always well stocked and has lots of nice items.

The service was excellent! The food was hot. It was a memorable date night for me and a lady friend. The gift shop was clean and well organized.
