Texas Roadhouse is a chain, and I knew what I was getting. But the hostess seating us took forever to figure our which table, thought we were 4 people instead of 2; the server who brought our food was clueless about a mushroom sauce that was supposed to accompany a dish; the cut of steak was awful. Like Daniel J., I would patronize the roadkill house again, but I'm writing off this location.

This Texas Roadhouse is a little different than the Turkey Creek location. They have some really nice TVs to watch if you are sitting near the bar area. Also, not sure if I have seen this at the Turkey Creek location or not but they did a line dance while we were there which was really cool for the kids to watch, and definitely kept them entertained. As always a great price for what you get. They always manage to cook the steaks perfectly with their own special seasoning. My kids always enjoy the peanuts and bread. In fact that is all the little one likes to eat. So it is a big winner in my family.

So compared to my last experience I actually have now had some good experiences. I will not sit at a table here. I learned my lesson. The service is not good at tables. I recommend sitting at the bar. They pay attention to you, and take much better care of you all around than the servers do here. Since most people tend to sit at tables here I hope I'm telling you a good secret. The steaks so have had recently were prepared perfectly medium rare. The veggies however were totally freezer veggies. As long as the meat is good I'm okay, and it was good. Next time visit the bar. I think you will enjoy it up there versus a table. Cheers & Enjoy!

It's been a while since we've been to this TR. we usually go to Turkey Creek or East Towne as they are closer to us. Came for lunch and had the 10oz Ribeye (as always) and today it was prrfect ;) Med Rare is a warm RED center and today it was - yippee! Not too much seasoning and the rolls were fresh, hot, the chili was fresh and plenty of cheese and onions. Well done TR. This hit the spot.

I got the New York strip w a sweet potato and green beans. The green beans were the best part, honestly. I love their butter for the rolls but I ordered my steak med rare and it came out really rare... I'm not upset because I like rare steaks too but it just wasn't what I had in mind. Lol. It was good, but had sooo much fat /: For the price, meh.

The mashed potatoes tasted like play dough. The waitress wish good in the beginning and something mush have happened because when she came back with the drinks she was very rude. She also made a comment that people didn't know how to tip and also that the food was disgusting, while we were eating it. NOT IMPRESSES AT ALL AND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Decided to give this Texas Roadhouse another try and they still can't do anything right. Food left out of the order. I was surprised to find out that when I dipped my roll into the regular butter I asked for, it was a mixture of butter and sour cream. Who does that? They don't even deserve one star. Salad was crisp and fresh even had hard boiled eggs in it. Love the peanuts, love the bread service was good I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare it was done as expected but lacking a lot of flavor was just an ordinary steak nothing special. the broccoli was cold and undercooked. mashed potatoes were real, not instant, and delicious. The marshmallow topping on sweet potatoes was burnt. The Long Island iced tea I ordered was the world's smallest long island ice tea and very tart I would not order that again. Service again was exceptional. No bells and whistles to write home about. A lot of hits and misses.

I love the ribs it's yum yum! My boyfriend likes the roasted peanuts here. The fresh hot buns are really tasty with the cinnamon butter. We tried the ribs and chicken entree. The chips are well fried. We wanna come next time.

First let me state that this place is really hit or miss. You either get no service or good service and the food isn't anything to write home about but it never bad. I have to say that my family and I came in yesterday and had Jared as our waiter. That boy needs a raise fast. He was awesome. Our drinks were full, we always had bread, he took away plates that didn't need to be there, he was nice and always checked on us instead of walking right past us like several other servers have done at the same location, literally just ignoring us. Jared was awesome. Food was ok but not great though. Little things make a huge difference. We ordered fried pickles and they tasted great but the oil at the bottom made it impossible to eat anything but the first layer. My salad was just a normal house salad and would have been great except I give my tomatoes to my kid and most had ranch all over them because the dressing comes on the salad in a cup and not literally on the side. My son's grilled cheese would have been awesome if not drenched in oil. He didn't even really want to eat it as you couldn't taste the cheese or bread through the oil but it was cooked wonderfully. My husbands side of mashed potatoes had a heart attack sized slab of butter on them. I mean butter is awesome right? But this was almost a 1/4th the amount of mashed potatoes you get, after scooping that off they were awesome though. Corn is always great. Anyways, kitchen needs to step it up and the service needs to be consistent but other then that, Thanks Jared!

Poor service from start to finish. Initially walked in and had to wait 5 minutes to be sat because the hostess was too inept to figure out where to put us. The restaurant was maybe a quarter of the way filled and she was still struggling. Then it took 10 minutes to get our drinks! The server was nice but doesn't change the poor service. All of the food was over cooked and tasteless. I would keep driving and take your business elsewhere.

I must say I have been many times and it's always very good. Very large entree salads and the choice to get a house salad as a side dish. I like that and most places won't do it because they want you to get an add on. One must remember its not fine dining, but very good and always crowded and a nice location right by the mall.

My wife and I go here every few months and always leave feeling we got our monies worth. Emberssed to death on my birthday a few years ago when they brought out a saddle on a sawhourse for me to mount while the wait staff sang Happy Birthday to me. Much prefer this location to the east town location.

Not sure if this is the particular Texas Roadhouse I ate at, but I think so. This was new to me because we don't have them where I live. The place was busy, but we were seated immediately. Our server was very efficient and took care of us well. I had the sirloin steak-ribs combo meal. The steak was very tender for sirloin, and I've never seen ribs with so much meat on them. Both were very good, as were the complimentary rolls. Vegetables for the side consisted of a broccoli-carrot combination. The broccoli was overcooked, but the carrots were almost raw. D - on the veggies. Had an appetizer called "rattlesnake bites", which were billed as a jalapeno pepper-cream cheese type thing like you'd get at the drive-thru at Sonic. What these consisted of was cream cheese folded with some minced jalapeno, then rolled into a ball, coated with bread crumbs or something, and then deep fried. I didn't particularly care much for them. My overall rating is probably a "B".

I enjoy Texas Roadhouse because I can get a decent steak at a good price. This however was horrible. The rib-eye had a horrible seasoning covering it, like a liquid smoke and pepper mix. The sweet potato was burned black, the skin was actually crispy. The service was decent, nothing exceptional. I will continue to visit TX Roadhouse, just not this one.
