Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I am a finicky pizza lover. When my wife is working (she works a night shift) I enjoy going here, bringing a book (yes I am a nerd) and I order the 8 or 10 in pizza. I am a carnivore so I order the meaty pizza. The service is great, the atmosphere is comfortable and family like. My pizza arrives at my table and the crust is nice and crunchy even though I have tons of toppings.

I absolutely love Sergeant Pepperoni's Pizzeria. I have ordered delivery to the Bearden Beer Market and not only are they quick with delivery, but the food is amazing!

Best pizza in K-town!! The crust is incredible. The wings are also fantastic! Haven't been able to get past these two items to try the rest of the menu. It's that good!!

This pizza was quite good. Imagine a Pizza Hut pan pizza with half the thickness, and somewhat thin but not necessarily crispy in the middle. That's the crust. Now imagine fresh toppings and sauce that doesn't overpower those toppings or the crust. That's a Sergeant Pepperoni's pizza! I had a personal pizza (8") with pepperoni and sausage. The pepperoni was about what you expect from pepperoni - not spicy, just meaty. The sausage was spiced enough to be flavorful, but not to the point of adding any heat. Bottom line...I'm a pizza lover who has other great options that are more convenient to where I live, but I'll be back!

I have been driving by Sgt 's for a while and thinking I need to try that but never did. Well I finally did and hate myself for waiting so long to stop in! My wife and I both had calzones and LOVED them. I ordered the Sargie Special she ordered the Veggie both were crisp not soggy like too many calzones. Also we both had minor special requests which were met with an OK without a blink from the waitress. Finally the waitress was very good at her job she was very friendly and attentive and made you feel like she was truly glad you were there. It may have taken me years to get there but it will only be days before I go back!

This restaurant doesn't look like much at first glance - just a small strip mall spot painted in red and green, but once you taste the food, it will become your favorite spot in town. The pizza is delicious, the perfectly cooked crust topped with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the artichoke dip appetizer - the dip is yummy and the cheese toast points are divine. The real standout is the sandwiches. They bake their own bread and make wonderful sandwiches that are a real steal at their $6 price point.

This was a total disappointment. The moment I opened the box and saw the pizza I knew it wasn't going to be good. Looks aren't deceiving after all. I was starving and still didn't find it good. Vegetable pizza - you would assume the cheese is the most expensive part of a pie and I still think it is. So if I'm paying the same price but without cheese, you would assume they wouldn't be so cheap on the toppings right? Well think again because they are. (Look at picture uploaded) if they want permanent customers and more, they should reconsider their approach to cheese-less pies. Maybe I'm the only vegan around here? Who eats bread with tomato sauce and vegetables they say. Well, I speak for the lactose intolerant people too. It's not just the "annoying" vegan heads with their restrictions! As you can tell, the pizza was terrible. There wasn't much toppings and the crust sucked. I ended up baking it with truffle oil and minced garlic. Garlic sticks without Parmesan served with marinara sauce - these tiny branches that barely had a garlic taste was they worst part about this meal. If the pie is bad, it's usually saved by the garlic bread but not in this case. I enjoyed the marinara sauce that accompanied this order and it sort of saved it. The sticks tasted freshly made but it was lacking in flavor. Overall, this was not the bang for my buck.

I've passed this place for a while and had heard decent things from friends. I was in the mood for a calzone so we checked this place out. Ordered parmesan garlic sticks as a starter. By far the best part of the meal. They were soft, warm, and decently flavorful. The only complaint would be that they were pretty small. We also got two calzones, the Ally Pie and the Pop-Eye. The Pop-Eye was busting with flavor and had a great combination of toppings. The Ally Pie seemed overwhelmingly peppery, probably due to the great number of pepperoncinis. It wasn't bad, but the only thing I tasted was bland veggies. As for the crust, it was great. The calzones weren't artificially fluffy and had a great crispiness to the outside and soft on the inside. Really well done. They have a limited beer selection, but low prices and good service. I saw one waiter working the whole room, but there wasn't a lot to do. The only real complaint was how long it took for my food to come out. I get that pizza takes a while to cook, but from the time the appetizer came out to the time the calzones came out was a good while. I'm curious what their pizza tastes like, but if it's anything like the calzones, I'm going to be a huge fan.

We always order the Salty Supreme, and it leaves absolutely nothing to be desired! The hot artichoke dip and cheese crostini is another great order staple. We always order carryout or delivery, and I have never had a problem with order accuracy here. This is a HUGE plus in my book.

The side salad filled a whole dinner plate-large portion! The ranch dressing homemade & yummy. Oh and the pizza is a winner-very good & reasonable!

The food was tasty but I caught some serious food poisoning after eating their Med. Sammy and a rootbeer float. Maybe some new sanitation measures could be implemented...

Was hanging out at Bearden Beer Market and needed some grub. Called Sergeant and they confirmed they would walk the pizza over, so I ordered a large pepperoni pie. This pizza reminds me of Pizza Hut's pan pizza, but, well, good. It's got the thicker pan style crust that is fairly greasy but surprisingly crisp - not thin crust crisp, but crisp for a pan style pizza. There was an ample amount of pepperoni which created more grease pooling in with the cheese. The sauce had a decent flavor, a miracle I could taste it through the cheese and pepperoni. Let me be clear, this is not healthy food. This is not gourmet food. This is not pizza with fresh pulled mozzarella, spinach, and roasted garlic. I love those types of pizzas, but I also occasionally want a greasy slice of pepperoni unhealthy goodness. That is usually the same time I'm drinking a beer. This makes the Sergeant a perfect pairing when I'm drinking late night at Bearden Beer Market. The ingredients in this pie were pretty decent and the flavor was good. All-in-all it was a totally respectable pie. The price, however, was a little unreasonable. 16 bucks w/ tax for a large pepperoni. I don't know, seems high to me. 12-14 would have been more reasonable. I will certainly be ordering again, though, most likely at Bearden Beer Market, but also maybe if I just want a seriously unhealthy slice of pepperoni.

Not good. Tough crust, greasy-in-a-bad-way, cheap ingredients. Sorry.

Went there almost every week. Love their Hawaii Pizza!

Awesome pizza ( try the Mediteranean) and super friendly service. You can tell everyone that works here really cares. We eat here at least once a week and have to drive 30 minutes to get there. Worth the drive!

this place is awesome!! always had good service and there pizza is awesome and there calzones are even better!! love the name and always good background music playing!

Really great pizza! Got the Ally pizza and it was super delicious. Really liked how the toppings were cooked and charred to perfection. Tasty sauce and good cheese. Decent beer selection.

Tried Sergeant's over the weekend and it was excellent! Pizza sauce is awesome and they are heavy handed on the pizza toppings which is great. Substituted one topping for another and no additional cost. Spinach salad was not impressive but most people are likely not going for salad. Will definitely go back and service was great too.

I ordered delivery. The service was prompt and the pizza arrived hot. But, the quality of this pizza was well below average, even by Tennessee standards (I'm from New York). The crust was soggy and flavorless, and the underside displayed evenly spaced pock marks, the hallmark of frozen, pre-made dough. While I would have expected this from Domino's or Uno, I did not anticipate this time-saving tactic from a small, local pizzeria that supposedly prides itself on quality. Of course, I haven't visited this establishment, so I can only speculate about their pizza construction methods. But be forewarned: if you're looking for DiGiorno at a premium price, look no further.

In my top 3 favorite pizza places in town. If you want great pizza but are ballin' on a budget, get the 8" cheese pizza for $4.50 and thank me later.
(5)Brad K.
The pizza here is incredible! A pan pizza that is still thin light and buttery. My Dad and I eat lunch here probably twice a month and the service is great the pizza is always delicious. I found the place through a mail coupon and have been back over almost 20 times. One thing I love about it is the consistency. It is the same every time... delicious! Support your local businesses and give them a try, you won't regret it

This place is absolutely amazing. We've sampled many of their offerings in my office, and we're all in agreement: This is our new go-to place for work lunch. The Worlds Fair sandwich is ridiculous in both proportion and deliciousness. The pizza is amazing -- that crust, man! The cinnamon rolls. Oh my lord.. do yourself a favor and order a dozen. They'll be warm. They'll be delicious. You will have 11 new friends.
