Bland food, chewy ribs. Rather pricey too for the low quality. Virtually nothing comes with a salad.

Puleos is going down hill, at least this location. I ordered the "prime"rib and shrimp (26 bucks), it tasted like they microwaved it then poured this awful garlic cream all over it to mask the oldness, plus the horseradish sauce tasted like mayo with little horseradish. When we were done (and paid) we waited for 20 minutes for the server to come over to us so we could get a to go box. There were only two tables seated in the entire restaurant, he was too busy chatting with the other servers near the kitchen. Finally I redid the tip and left, because he was obviously not going to come over anytime soon. There were also these small flies landing on my daughters cheeseburger, of course she could not eat it after that. Its a shame that puleos has gone down hill, I used to like this place a lot when it was new.

I guess my mistake was trying out a chain, but I did. Not a bad experience, just OK. The food and drinks were allright, service was pretty good. Overall an average place. What left a sour taste in my mouth, however, was the unattractive, old married man getting flirty with another girl and I, then slipping me his number on a napkin. I quickly put him in his place. Mind you, this is not the restaurants fault, but it seems they dont gather a classy type of clientelle.

This is a great go-to restaurant as all of the dishes I've tried are good, service is great, and its never over crowded. Shrimp and Grits and the Fiesta Chicken Tender Salad are my favorite dishes. They have great seasonal cobblers that usually tempt me as well. Also try to get there for there 1/2 off wine special.

Puleo's has consistently good food. It's casual enough for blue jeans and a t-shirt but it's a little cut above a lot of the casual dining restaurants- at least in my book. I have always had good, prompt service. Love, love, love the way they prepare fried green tomatoes. They are usually very busy on Friday and Saturday night, so be prepared for a wait if that's the evening you decide to go.

My husband and I were in town for a concert and this place was recommended to us by an employee at the hotel we were staying at. My husband goes over and gets us the Smokehouse Burger and fries. The burger was huge and the best that I've ever eaten! He said that the workers were extremely friendly and helpful. If we're ever back in Knoxville we will definitely eat there again!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
