Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This is probably my favorite Chipotle in Knoxville so I'm not sure why it has so few stars. I typically get the veggie rice bowl with veggies (not tofu). When you order any veggie item without tofu the guac is free and it is yummy! Their chips taste like movie popcorn and limes made a love child and are the perfect accompaniment to the veggie bowl. The atmosphere is adorable and modern, and the place has always been super efficient every time I'm visited. The only downside I can think of is parking. I've been during peak hours and couldn't find any parking.

It is what it is : mexi-american cuisine. The place is usually swamped all hours of the day. The place is very noisy. The high ceilings do not help. i know its supposed to be cool, with its speakers embedded into the wall, but i like a little peace and quiet with my meal. If you do choose to eat there, I recommend the Burrito Bowl. If you ask for the salad dressing, they will give it to you and it makes in my opinion a better replacement than using the salsa they recommend. I personally like the medium green salsa; its fire roasted and fresh, and just enough heat. I am such a mexican food afficianado that I find it hard to eat at these places, especially the price point.

I used to love Chipotle and would drive 45 minutes out of my way to get there. But I have to say, this location and also the other new one in Farragut have been really disappointing lately. We used to go a lot, meaning sometimes 2 or 3 times a week, and I didn't want to believe it, but it's not the same anymore. I think I'm done. There are mainly two issues: the meat, and the non-ability to wrap a burrito. I usually get chicken, and it's really mushy and tasteless. So I tried the steak instead, and it's tough and tasteless. Same for the pork. I suppose I could try to get over that, but what is even more annoying is the fact that no one has been able to properly wrap the dang burrito without it exploding from the side upon first bite or even before. Call me weird, but I like to be able to hold my burrito calmly and not be covered with its ingredients. Being fed up, I tried the bowl with a tortilla on the side. I can do that, but sometimes I want a burrito! And it doesn't fix the previously mentioned meat problem. I'm sure this is just a training issue because the other local burrito places seem to provide intact burritos. Maybe go over there and see how they do it. Or get bigger tortillas? I hope it gets better because I'd love to come back.

Stopped in to grab dinner to take to hotel down the street. There around 6:30 p.m. and the place was pretty busy. About 10 people ahead of us in line, but the line went so quickly. Their line order preps were on point and moved the orders through very quickly. I was impressed. Everyone very friendly and nice. The only opportunity I really saw was that the area with plastic wear, napkins, and other side items was very messy needed wiped up and they were almost completely out of plastic wear. If that had been stocked full and clean would have been five stars easy! Ordered: burrito, brown rice, chicken, etc. Tasted great. Made quickly.

This Chipotle is right off the exit! I found out about this location compared to the one I went to in Turkey Creek. I think this one was closer to me so I started coming here. The times I've came here, the lines weren't that long, it could have been the time of day that I went, but nonetheless the food was still superb. I find this place better than other places that I've visited. The place is clean, service is nice, they load you up on the food, and well overall that's about it. Chipotle is a chain, nothing new, nothing spectacular, just good food. If you have doubts about this place, let all these reviews wash those doubts out of mind. Of course, I rather have a true mission burrito from the Bay, but hey, this is second best alternative away from San Francisco.

Went here for a burrito. They were out of rice. That's crazy in itself. They said they were pit because the water was broken; fair enough but how hard is it to go buy some water to make one of your main ingredients. They didn't offer any consolation (free drink, guac, etc) - just pay full price for a burrito without rice. Rude staff. Can't afford to be the bad chipotle franchise when there is another one ten minutes away. I love chipotle but will never be back to this one.

For real man..... this place is dope! Bring a jacket cause it's always chilly for the workers. If u go, hit up my bro austin! He's easily the best cashier/captain master grill master I've ever seen!!! And see if Tim is workin too! He's a short black dude but I'd never swing with him! Oh.....and the burritos are bomb!
(5)Erika S.
Man may not be able to eat bread alone, but I am pretty sure I could eat Chipotle alone. It's always delicious. The new addition of their tofu sofrito has created just another addiction. The people at Chipotle are even better than the food. They are always upbeat and friendly and take customer service about and beyond. If there's a line, don't be deterred because it moves quickly.

Great building. Love the fact that it is very open with tons of natural light. Their seating arrangement is essentially communal, which seems to be the way Chipotle is moving. The staff here is super friendly and I enjoyed the same amazing food I have grown to love. Most definitely a must visit.

I REALLY really really want to love Chipotle because I love EVERYTHING they stand for. Food with integrity, non-GMO products (save for the soda machine currently), kind treatment of farm animals where their meat and dairy products are sourced--BRAVO! Sadly the 4 times I have eaten here I am always a little disappointed. The chicken is consistently fatty. Don't misunderstand me...there is chicken breast meat too, but almost every other piece has a decent amount of fat on it. Chicken fat is disgusting and should be completely removed from the breast before they serve it! The pinto beans don't have much flavor, and the brown rice is a bit hard and dry. Sour cream needs to be thicker and the chopped fresh tomatoes--while it was very kind of the server to give them to me since I cannot eat the salsa (raw onions)--were mealy. The plus: -Service is friendly and highly efficient. They really try to make you happy. -Portions are HUGE! Enough for at least 2 people to indulge. -And of course, as I said above, their food comes from good places. If Chipotle would better monitor (and ameliorate) the above mentioned items, I'd be ecstatic!

Place is super busy during dinner time. Picked up food Monday and it was about 30 minutes before I walked out the door. Staff seemed to not comprehend my requests and order was still wrong. Felt like next time I will write it down and hand them order. Part of issue is how bldg is made and noise level when full. I like the steak, salsa and Guac. Chips were stale. Price higher than Salsaritas and less fixins'. But gives generous portion of Guac on entree! (Not in side cup though...disappointing for an extra 1.95) The one in West Town runs smoother faster. They ran out of corn salsa.

The food is always amazing. Been to Chipotlè's all over the country, and every time it is do delicious. This one is getting their liquor license soon, and will have margaritas and beer.

It was good, but the green chili medium verde salsa was absolutely to die for. I couldn't get it off my mind. I called and tried to buy some for home, but they said all you could buy were the little portion cups. I would keep this. Found a copycat recipe and it was pretty good, but still the original is delicious.

Love Chipotle, obviously. I've eaten at this one maybe half a dozen times now, and I think their steak is spicier than other Chipotle restaurants for some reason.

We were severely disappointed in our first visit to any Chipotle. We were crammed close to other people. It was loud, messy and unkept, noxious music was playing through cheap speakers, and the design and furnishings were cheap, harsh, and just weird. The raw open ceiling with bare trusses and plywood ceiling took the cake. The food was just so-so, no different or better than Qdoba or Moe's. And with a share price of $684, I told my wife that if I had owned any Chipotle stock I would be running home to sell it. We walked in with very positive expectations but walked out for the last time.

We visited two times and both time we were disappointed. The first time the server gave my wife very fat laden pork. The second time they were out of brown rice and we were told it would be a ten minute wait. Out of a main ingredient? Go to the end of the line, no thanks. They can do better than that. Come on management get it together.
