Very expensive. Two of us had burgers fries and drinks... Nothing flashy or fancy... $22+. Average burger at best, fries were terrible. Homemade handcut fries... There is a reason for additives. It makes fries taste better! Cramped space for seating. Staff was friendly but still won't go back. For the money. I'll drive another quarter of a mile and go to the Cookout, where I can get twice as much food for half the money!

The VegeFi burger was perhaps the best veggie burger I've ever had. Prices aren't terrible, at least not for the burgers themselves, but the sides and drinks are a little overpriced. Very neat environment with cool lighting, friendly staff and outdoor seating. Just opened a couple days ago, so there was a bit of a crowd and wait but nothing terrible. Highly recommend!

Delicious burgers and the fries rock! Not the greatest ambience, crowded inside, floors were slippery (not wet) kind of like greasy? Bathrooms was disgusting. Bottom line is I would take out and skip eating there. Quick service, decent beer selection too.

Burger Fi is one of the better national chains on Cumberland. But, with so many choices why choose this place over the dozens of others? Several reasons: the hand padded burgers are fresh, tasty and come with quality toppings, the fries are hand cut and addicting and they have fresh strawberry and regular lemonade. This will likely become one of your favorite go-to burger joints. However, if you have an appetite better choose the double patty. Unfortunately, the single burger is much smaller than it looks in the photos on the menu. The bun oftentimes engulfs the burger. On the other hand, quality isn't compromised with the burger or toppings. Pound for pound this spot stands above the others.

Food wise? Love BurgerFi. Whenever I'm back in Winter Park, FL I make a point to stop at their location because I love it. The burgers are excellent, reasonably priced and the perfect size. I find myself craving these burgers and these burgers alone when I'm having a craving for a cheeseburger. This location specifically? Awful. Signs for parking are non existent from the road, the place is really small so if there's bad weather outside don't bother trying to find a seat inside and the service is HORRIBLE. I visited for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and there were only THREE people working. Seriously? Between standing in line to order then waiting for my food was a 45 minute process alone. If this had been my first BurgerFi experience I would've walked out but it was such a hassle getting here and parking I waited anyways but I would never try this specific location again.

Good burger, great fries, very good custard, very limited beer selection. Cool small space, small patio on the strip. Too few burger condiments. Music a bit too loud. Beware, not much attention to food allergies. There are eggs in the "secret sauce", but that wasn't mentioned during our ordering around allergens. We had to reorder my daughter's burger, twice. They also use 100% peanut oil.

There is nothing terribly wrong with this place it just fails to wow. The flavors are ok, the quality is ok. The beer selection is just ok. It is a little cramped with the table layout. The fries would have been better with a little more salt, maybe I should have ponied up for one of the toppings.
(3)Angie P.
A solid burger with great selection for toppings on a nice bun. They've got a couple beers on tap. It's a bit pricey but conveniently located super close to the university. They have an ok patio but it's right next to a busy street.
(3)Willow L.
I got a double burger and fries which totaled about 10 dollars. The burger was average, it was cooked well though. The fries were seasoned well but unfortunately most of them were overlooked and burnt. Overall I probably won't come here often because it wasn't worth the expensive prices
(3)Shelly Q.
This is the same recipe as five guys or mooyah except the other two are better and a few dollars cheaper. The bottom line..It's not worth driving to campus when I can get something better in west Knoxville.

Knoxville has a lot of options for burgers. In fact, whatever your burger style, you will find somewhere in town to feed your burger cravings. When in the mood for a quick burger, BurgerFi makes me happy. Yes, BurgerFi is fast food. Yes, BurgerFi is a chain. But much like the burrito chain with a name that rhymes with nipotle, eating here doesn't make me feel horrible. First, let's talk practices. They don't use frozen meat. They don't use microwaves. They don't use food with chemicals or hormones. Much of the dining room is made from recycled goods including the chairs and tables. Now on to service. In my experience, the service on the strip is a lot like the slot machines in Vegas. For the most part, you know you're not going to win, but you enjoy your experience anyway. There is always the freak chance that you could win big and get a good server. My experience at BurgerFi has always made me feel like a winner. Patient, helpful, friendly people have always covered the counter. I haven't had as good of luck in Vegas. And finally, the food. The concept here is Five Guy-esque. With enough combinations to make your head spin, they also have several already tried and true favorites to choose from. A favorite of The Mister is the 'Breakfast All Day Burger', which is a natural Angus burger, American cheese, hickory bacon drizzled with maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns, grilled diced onions, and ketchup. My personal favorite is my own concoction that I'm pretty proud of. Wrap your mind around this awesomeness that I like to call 'The Icky': a single cheeseburger topped with grilled onions, jalapeños, and BurgerFi sauce (I have no idea what this is exactly, but it's tasty). Their fries are just as customizable, but they obviously know the way to my heart with salt & vinegar. If you are a fan of onion rings, I highly recommend them. They are some of the best that I've ever had. They are thick cut, full of flavor, and breaded with a light and airy crust. A challenging balance that is topped off without being greasy. I have yet to try their custards that call my name each time I'm there, but it's only a matter of time. A person's will power is only so strong. They also have a decent selection of draft beer. Lots of variety. Quick service. Cool interior. Lots of win here.

5/14/15 - This was my first visit to BurgerFi and I will be back. I built my own burger and had a side of crispy fries and I was a very happy customer. I enjoyed the meal and the price here, so much better than Shake Shack! I also think it's better than Five Guys. I was given a sample of the BugerFi Sauce and I didn't care for it at all. Anyways, BurgerFi has a new fan !

Wow! Great burger (coming from a vegetarian) Good: The vegifi quinoa burger was a great choice. Good consistency, with a great grilled bun. Steak fries were hearty and lightly salted to perfection. Though 2 burgers and fries were $20, it was well worth it. Bad: The burgers were on the small side, just like the atmosphere. Fun cool place but don't bring a big group! I imagine this place would be nutso on a game day, but is a great choice for a quick lunch!
(4)Carol C.
Best burger! Good fries. Alright onion rings. It's a little high in price but it's really good. If you like really quality burgers, you'll like this place. Plus there's beer.
(5)Lauren B.
The space is really cute but small. They have Burgers, beer, and custard. The burger is good but needs more condiments and possibly seasoning on the patty. I really couldn't taste the sauce. We got the onion rings which may have been the best I have ever had. The breading on the rings was super tasty! We also got the chili cheese fries which were pretty good. The chili was really spicy which was great for us. I love the whole "natural/organic" policy, I think the food tasted better because of it. We got the vanilla custard with chocolate and caramel( I think)... This was actually not worth waiting in line for again... I want to try it again when I'm not completely full on burgers. I will probably only come here again during summer.

Second attempt. Although Burgerfi responded to my first review and I truly appreciate them reaching out, I cannot increase my score. I'm sure other locations are better run and outstanding restaurants but this location is filled with college kids who have misaligned priorities and is therefore poorly run. The floors were a sticky mess again. The condiment area was cleaner though. Credit where credit is due, and the young man who took our order was friendly. Someone had spilled a drink by the front register. There were puddles and wet floor signs up the whole time we were there- about 40 minutes. No one made an attempt to actually mop up during that time. Although one employee did spend that 40 minutes flirting with female patrons while simultaneously neglecting to make the shake they had ordered. Yes, 40 minutes for a shake. Priorities. Food was again very good but we made the mistake of coming on a busy, rainy Friday afternoon and the restaurant was uncomfortably crowded. If you don't get one of the high-top tables or an outdoor table you have to sit with everyone who's standing in line's butt in your face. Awesome. Towards the end of my meal I saw employees in the kitchen taking French fries from under the warmer and eating them with bare hands then go right back to touching utensils and food. No gloves, no hand washing. May as well just have them lick every burger before it goes out to the customer! So thank you Burgerfi for the tasty food and if I see you elsewhere I'll give you try, but I'm done with this location.
