This place used to be great but the last few times I have been it has fallen apart. The food is ok, but very small portions. The service is on the level with cable and cell phone providers. The last time I went there with my wife my goal was to get hammered. My wisdom teeth had been pulled a week or so before so I was in need of some medication. I ordered a very overpriced cocktail with dinner, which I drank before the server finished putting the food down. Yes, it did not come out until the food. Then I was presented with the bill thirty minutes later. I would have had ten of those little things if anyone had bothered to check in. The restaurant was almost empty and most of the staff was either at the bar drinking, or sitting at a table drinking. I almost went over to their table to sit down because they were having a lot better time than we were!

Had dinner with 4 other women and it was the first visit for me and 3 of the girls. Everyone loved the atmosphere and the food. From the Lobster Bisque to the dinner. It was great. Certainly, better than olive garden... More upscale. Great date place. Overall, enjoyable but, service is still lacking. Lots of servers but they never seem to have the ability to keep drinks filled or help with requests when you need them. If it was not a birthday when we had plenty of time the score would drop.

If you have to pick an Italian chain restaurant, pick this one. I was there for a late dinner, after my niece's senior recital at UT, along with six other friends and relatives. Of the seven of us, not one was disappointed with any aspect of the meal, including the service. Bravo is head and shoulders above any Olive Garden that I've ever visited.

So I had a rough start w/ Bravo as I had pretty bad experiences when they opened years ago. Since then I've had some really good experiences. The service lately has been good. They have curbside service which is awesome!! You can go pick up your food in your pjs if ya want. I've done it a couple of times. Another plus is they have a bar menu happy hour - $3.95 Bar Bites (3-7pm & 9pm-close). They are all appetizers that you can get for half the price. If you download their app, on hot phone they will send you deals, like $10 off out next meal etc. My favorite things on the menu are: Fries Mozzarella Portabello & Boursin Bruschetta Caprese Salad Spaghettini & Meatballs Grilled Chicken Marsala Pasta Woozie Chicken & Pesto Spaghettini I hope this helps, and hope you love the things I love. Cheers & Enjoy!

This is my 2nd time being here. Both times have been great. App: the Crispy Shrimp Napoli is really good. I skipped the salad although from what I could see at other tables it looked like something I would enjoy. Dinner: the pasta woozie is killer for a lighter meal. if you are looking for the protein and some spice then go with the grilled salmon. I will be back and would recommend.

Nice atmosphere. We had to wait 10 min for our server. Then when he did get to the table you could not understand a word he said Menu indicated $4.25 to add a salad yet when the bill came one salad was $4.99 and $6.49. We were never told about the additional charge for blue cheese ! The server could not give us any explanation on the odd charges Appetizer and main dishes were good, not memorable. Not sure we will return

We stopped here for lunch when we drove to Connecticut from Texas. We had two guinea pigs with us, so we can't leave the car for too long. I craved for Italian, and I was worried that they didn't offer the take out. But it turns out the worry was unnecessary. We got the take out and the food was delicious. We got napoleons shrimps for starter and chicken Spanish penne, and chocolate cake for dessert.

I have honestly never had a bad meal here. I always feel welcomed, at home and taken care of. You are greeted at the door by two people, taken to any seat you like with no complaint, and welcomed by a server in less than a minute. The bread is piping hot fresh and the soups are as well. I usually over eat on the grilled chicken salad because it is so good and the portions never leave you wanting more. The pasta lunch special is not that good, which is why I left a star off. More meat and less pasta would be great.

I have been to Bravo a couple of times with my husband. The first visit was strictly for dessert and let me tell you the desserts are incredible here. The trio of creme brulee, hazelnut mousse, and berry cheesecake is to die for. The Ghiradelli cake is completely sinful. I would say on desserts alone it's a four star experience. The second time we came for brunch. My husband had the hash and a scallop dish while I had a burger with sweet potato fries. For the most part it was good not great with the exception of the sweet potato fries. The seasoning they put on them makes them incredible. The service was fine. The drinks were well made. Overall a good experience both times. The food is solid not standout but solid is still step above most chain restaurants. I would say that if nothing else coming here for dessert is completely worth it. Also, be mindful that the ambience of the restaurant can vary depending on the time of day that you go. Our first time there was on a Friday evening and the noise level was very loud. Depending on where you sit you may be right on top of your neighbors. We were extremely close to a party of couples who were conversing and laughing at a sports bar level volume. The second time was much quieter. This can be a nice romantic place if you're able to secure a quieter corner table on the perimeter of the main dining area.

A restaurant tragedy. This restaurant was our favorite restaurant in Knoxville, consistently excellent to outstanding for so many years. My father who had very refined & discriminating taste would often say, I've never had a bad meal at Bravos, let's go there tonight. Their food flavor & quality of wait staff has been sliding with each visit. We first noticed Bravo's decline began a few years ago when our favorite waitress left which we suspect were for conflicts with management. That cancer seems to have run it's course through the kitchen now. Our last visit 3 weeks ago on a Thursday night, normally packed, but it was almost empty! We sat outside which is a lovely terrace to dine. Fearful they had slid even further I ordered their most consistent dish, lasagna, which is always outstanding! When it arrived it looked like they had skimped on the ingredients as well as presentation, not particularly appetizing. Our waiter was truly a creepy looking fellow. At a table with 4 ladies, the waiter began shredding Parmesan cheese for the two ladies to my left, when he got to me he paused when I requested some shredded cheese as well. But then he corrects me and says "No! Ladies first! He then walks around me and then offers cheese to the two remaining ladies before awkwardly walking around them to come back to me. (If you are wondering, yes his awkward rudeness impacted his tip!) But just as I feared, their trademark lasagna has taken a big dive, seems they have gone to lesser ingredients on this stalwart dish as well. What inspired me to write was out at dinner last night with friends discussing our favorite restaurants everyone at the table expressed their astonishment at Bravos acute decline. Hope they fix what ever's broke there... I won't return until I hear of big changes there, it's just too expensive a restaurant to pay for another disappointing meal. Savelli's is now our go-to for good Italian food in Knoxville. It's very small, you'll have a long wait to be seated, it's not near as open or ornate, but at least Savelli's food is excellent and staff is competent.

Yep, as good as it gets. Wait, I didn't get to try anything because I didn't get served! Went in, seated, served water. Look down at menu found what I wanted; tick tock. Where's my waiter/waitress? Looked around a bit, still no service. Looked at my phone a minute or three, no service; and I don't mean my phone. Reviewed the menu some more. Hmmmm, sure am hungry! Wonder if I am sleeping or worse yet still alive, because the staff keeps walking by my table but they don't see me. Sure wish someone would ask if I needed something. Oh well, sorry for the bother, got up and walked out without anyone noticing. Oh well, it's only pasta I am sure I can find pasta elsewhere for probably less than $25 too! On the bright side, I did enjoy the sushi right above them at Wasabi's - the best Sushi I have had while in Knoxville!

We love this place! The entrees are inventive, reasonably priced, and really varied. They have daily specials, too, that seem to be quite inventive. Last night, though, we ordered off the standard menu: balsamic glazed grilled chicken on a bed of spinach and orzo, with feta and kalamata olives. It was tasty and light, with a great balance of savory and sweet. Grilled perfectly! Our server was efficient, personable without being obsequious, and appeared at exactly the right times. We added a Caesar salad on the side; it was a wonderful meal, and we'll be back.
Bravo is a great place i think the prices are reasonable and the food is great i always enjoy coming here!! I have had the Mama's Lasagna Bolognese and chicken Scaloppini and they are yummy!! the service was good waiter took good care of us!! Is a nice place great for a date for sure:)Go check it out the food is delish!!

I've been here twice and both times I've had a good experience. This last time I was there I ordered the filet mignon and the tomato bisque. The tomato bisque was very creamy and pretty filling when paired with the complimentary bread. The filet mignon was amazing! I order my meats medium-rare and no restaurant has ever made it to my liking, until now. The inside was very pink, just the way medium rare should be. It was very tender unlike some other places. It was on the pricey side, but for the perfect filet mignon, it was worth it! How much you will spend varies. You'll spend more when you order and appetizer or mixed drinks, plus what you order determines the price as well. For the quality of the food and the service you receive from the staff, it's well worth it.

The food is the most consistent of any place in Knoxville. Service is always exemplary. The prices aren't outrageous( average $15 per entree) and it's always a good value for the experience. It is a chain so it's never going to have quite the allure of real restaurants, but if that doesn't matter to you skip Olive Garden , Carraba's etc., and go to Bravo for sure.

We love Italian food, and we have been very fortunate to have visited many Italian restaurants in this area and many outside the area. This one is our favorite in this area. The food on this visit was excellent. I like the fact that the tables are spaced enough to be able to converse and feel like you have some privacy. I was a little surprised to read the reviews about poor service, because we had commented about how much the staff hustled.

Dined here while I visited family. Service was good, servers were friendly. I'm from NY, the southernness aka friendliness of people is new to me lol. Order the Sausage Tortelloni which was cheese-filled. To die for! I'd go back to TN just for another plate lol.

Second people seated and then 4 or 5 parties that had 5 or 6 in group were offered drinks and they were getting their orders taken while we were waiting on a waiter. It was so rude that we (a party of 2) got up and left. Got so much better service at Olive Garden. I'll never go back here again after that experience.

My friend took us here for dinner when we came to visit. It is a nice Italian restaurant. The prices are typical for most Italian restaurants - expect to pay between $12-25 per entree. I ordered a shrimp di fralo dish (sp) and it was really good. The portions are not a lot, but it was very tasty. There were 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their food. Our waiter was very nice. Since we were visitors to the area, he gave us some places to visit on our stay here. A friend of mine finished his entree pretty fast, but like I said, the portions are not big compared to most Italian restaurants but the taste is there! I had a great time here - it is big enough for parties and big groups.

I've been here twice in the last four days. It's that good. Sat in the bar both times. Erin was our server for lunch on Wednesday. We had the lobster bisque, tomato bisque (so delicious), the Roma flatbread, and two orders of the Crispy Shrimp Napoli. Oh my goodness. I have been going to Bravo for three years, and I have not found shrimp as good as this in any restaurant. It's the perfect amount of crisp, and the tomato Napoli sauce is just to die for. I cannot stop raving about this shrimp!! We were too full to eat dessert, but we ordered the tiramisu to go. It's wonderful. Came again tonight (Saturday) around 5pm. Didn't seem too busy, but the bar tables were almost full. Our server, Jeff, was FANTASTIC. He was very personable and right there to answer any questions we had and offer suggestions for drinks. We ended up going with the Raspberry Mojito (a little strong) and the Strawberry Basil Smash. I'm a huge fan of Bacardi, and it was so refreshing! Once again, I ordered the tomato bisque and the shrimp. Throughout the whole meal, Jeff was right there if we needed anything at all. My aunt ordered the Cobb salad, and Jeff got all her modifications correct - even offered to put the dressing on the side. The salad was huge! We enjoyed everything and will definitely be back again. Great job Jeff!

My favorite restaurant for shrimp fra diovalo! It has a small kick and flavorful sauce that leaves a pleasant tang. There are several other favorites: any flatbread, anything with salmon, and the manicotti. A fun dress up restaurant and a fun casual evening. Both are found here.

Delicimo. Fantastico. BRAVO. Great food, paired with great people and superb chefs who uphold the strictest standards for the dishes they prepare. Try the Crispy Shrimp Napoli with the glass of Pinot Grigio Luna, followed by the Grilled Tilapia with Crab. Be sure to save room for the Creme Brulee!! Best in the city!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This place used to be great but the last few times I have been it has fallen apart. The food is ok, but very small portions. The service is on the level with cable and cell phone providers. First let me say that I LOVE Bravo. I am from Ohio, and we have two lovely, well managed Bravo's in Columbus that I frequent often. I am very sorry that I visited the Knoxville Bravo which is very poorly managed. I waited 11 minutes for a waiter to take my order, had to ask for silverware, my drink was empty before my entrée arrived and I was never asked if I wanted a second. Service was extremely slow and inattentive. When my entrée arrived it was cold (and wasn't supposed to be). I ate in the bar area - there were three bartenders who seemed to be so busy making drinks for the dining room that they could not concentrate on the customers in the bar area. The wait staff was friendly enough, but stretched too thinly to be productive and offer a good experience to the customers. Most servers would not voluntarily jip them themselves out of tip money by not serving a second drink and cold food, so I blame the management for inadequate staffing and poor training. In summary, go somewhere else, Bravo is a wonderful chain, but this location is not exemplary of their service or food.
