We had a wonderful day going through antique shops in Kingsport, TN and to our delight found Divine Cafe and Catering. We were famished and didn't want fast food so went in to this charming cafe to peruse the menu on the blackboard. We opted for the bar-b-que chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll with a side of fruit salad. WOW! It was DELICIOUS! The sandwich was large enough to share and came with cole- slaw on top of this marvelous barbecued pulled chicken sandwich. The ciabatta bread was crunchy on the outside with a delicate tender inside, perfect for this juicy sandwich. My husband wanted some coffee and the server made it fresh with real beans she just ground for us. The coffee was some "of the best" he ever tasted, "strong yet no bitterness", and was the perfect accompaniment to our lunch. The fruit salad was real fruit, hand cut, cool and crisp, perfectly fresh. We will definitely be going back to Divine Cafe & Catering! Service was perfect; friendly, happy, upbeat., offering suggestions and information yet not at all pushy. We highly recommend this gem of a cafe!
