Okay, I want to take a star off because of the country music, but I am sure that is a corporate decision. I have been in a fair number of Cracker Barrel locations, and this is the first one to prepare my eggs as ordered. I like my fried eggs over easy (or over light) and most cooks think they know better than I. The wait staff was efficient and friendly, the place was clean. The food great and if you leave CB hungry that is your fault, they have a menu item for everyone.

This was my first time visiting a cracker barrel. I was looking for a place to eat a decent breakfast. I tried the breakfast sampler with turkey sausage, country grilled ham, and bacon. It also allowed me to try their buttermilk biscuits, hash brown casserole, grits, and of course eggs (I know CB likes to make things from scratch, but I've still seen processed eggs at other diners and I'm sick of them, so I had to verify). CB definitely has a warmer feel than Denny's/Ihop. It's not surprising I've never seen one in the southwest considering it's southern cuisine. The eggs were definitely made fresh but they got to me a little cold. I realize the sampler breakfast requires many different parts of the plate to come together, but that could've been timed better. The turkey bacon and country grilled ham were just the right amount of salty/fatty for me, although I didn't care for the sausage much. For 10 bucks I sure got a good breakfast, I will return to try the steak and eggs.

On vacation with my dad, we decided to stop into this Cracker Barrel for some Southern comfort food. You can never go wrong with food at the Cracker Barrel. However, our service is what really stole the spotlight and the reason why I'm writing this review: Our server was Makayla, and although it was a busy Saturday morning - our waitress was extremely attentive. She made sure all our needs were met, constantly refilling our drinks and stopping by to make sure we were happy. Although, the restaurant was packed - we didn't feel rushed or hurried and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you're ever driving down the 24, near Kimball, TN be sure to stop into The Cracker Barrel - and if you're lucky enough, maybe Makayla will be your server! :)

I've been to more Cracker Barrels than I can count, but the service here was the very best. Tielle was our waitress for dinner here on our road trip back from Florida. She was extremely personable and sincerely friendly. She really made the visit stand out. I was a server for more than a decade in places from bars to fine dining and Tielle is one of the best servers I've come across. Anyone can take an order, but it takes personality and time management to be great server, which she was. I may never again be in Jasper, TN, but for anyone who is, stop in and ask for Tielle.

I have been to a couple Cracker Barrels' in the Ohio area and never really appreciated the food. I always thought it was greasy and overrated, but while traveling through the area feeling desperately hungry after leaving the Bonnaroo music festival I thought we would give it another try. I'm glad I did! The food really hit the spot.....I ordered the blueberry pancakes. Oh wow they were so wonderfully fresh and delicious. I can't say how pleased I was to try this place once more. Hubby also enjoyed his dish; the chicken fried chicken steak, which came with biscuits and gravy as well as grits. If I ever go to Cracker Barrel again I will be sure to order the Blueberry pancakes once more.
