I used the drive-thru to purchase an order of 10 wings, fries, and a drink. They are quite possibly some of the finest wings I have had this side of New York City. The wings were meaty and sauced well. The fries were seasoned with what appeared to be dry rub. The drive-thru may not be the fastest in West Tennessee, but the food more than makes up for the wait. Can't wait to go back again.

The owner of Reggi's is one of the best with respect to his knowing how to smoke meat!!! However, his management skills leave much to be desired, and the quality of the food and service vary greatly, depending on who is working at the moment. At its best, Reggi's can't be beat. At other times, well.........

We promised we would be back and we were. Tender pulled pork, great sauce (should have ordered extra, it was a little light), but the service is superior and they think of every detail. Got carry out for the hotel room and were given plates, utensils, and plenty of napkins without having to ask. We love Reggi!

Good portion size platters. Beef brisket very good with smoky flavor. Pork ribs very good and plenty of medium-hot BBQ sauce. Dry rub wings not spicy but salty. All sides, potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw, were pretty good but limited rating because they were too sweet than expected.

Good food and very friendly staff - I would go back again to try their other menu items!

I stopped here again while overnighting in Jackson, and sorry to say, this time is was terrible. I should have known better than to get brisket in Tennessee but I did, and I'm sorry. Uncooked (rubbery, chewy), under seasoned, and definitely undersmoked (no ring at all, dull grey color). I couldn't eat much of it. Pretty much the same for the ribs which I liked ok on my first visit. Not impressed at all. The cole slaw treated like KFC with some black pepper, the beans had something odd in them and had the texture of canned, and tater salad had too much mustard but still had an odd sweet aftertaste. And I asked for hot bbq sauce and I got it. Now, I'm one that can handle Salsa Stoopid (Google it) but this sauce was too hot to put on good bbq. Better suited for wings. Anyway, I was highly disappointed. Reggi, try smoking your meats with real smoke.

We arrived 10 minutes before closing. I had the combo platter with medium bbq sauce. This had a nice zesty kick. It was more the vinegary type, but wasn't overly sweet. Pulled pork was moist and tender. Brisket was a little fatty, but had a nice smoky flavor. Bbq beans had a nice brown sugar flavor. Potato salad was ok. I'm not a cole slaw fan, so I didn't touch that. The manager was very friendly and several times came over to check on us. Sometimes workers at closing are doing everything to shove you out the door, but that was definitely not the case here.

Great pulled pork sandwich (with coleslaw on top), and the fried okra was awesome! Not a 5 star rating only because my husband's beef ribs were just a touch dry. Overall, awesome lunch!

Stopped here on the way back to Texas and what a nice surprise. Great BBQ and even met Reggi who was a great guy and very welcoming. If we lived here this would be a go to for us without a doubt. Thanks Reggi!

Reggi's BBQ & Wings in Jackson Tennessee, has got to be the best I have had in Tennessee. I moved to Arlington from Detroit and stopped In today May 4, 2015, restaurant was very clean including the restroom. The young lady that waited on me was very pleasant and the service was done in a timely. Wish Reggi's was in memphis. Definitely will stop from now on headed back and forth from Detroit.

Nice clean family restaurant. The food is delicious. I had some hot wings however they should also give the option of whole wings too but they don't. I wouls go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Got a pulled pork platter to go. I was visiting somebody at the hospital. They asked me how hot I wanted the sauce which they unfortunately poured all over the meat making it almost impossible to taste. Sauce should be served on the side so the person can decide how much to put on. The sides were all good that came with it. If you go asked for the sauce on the side.

YUMMO! Great food. Fun southern atmosphere. Delicious!

Very very good BBQ. Love it. Not far off of 40. Pulled pork sandwich was moist and tasty. Chicken sandwich was fabulous. Potato salad was perfect as was the cole slaw. Fries were seasoned and great. We will definitely stop here again.

Was there for lunch while in town on business. Place was packed. Bout chewed my arm off waiting for to go order. Beef sandwich was pretty good. Fries were a little soggy. Wasn't worth the wait but ill probably go again when I'm in town. Worth a second chance.

In Jackson for a business trip, my family of 4 was hungry for barbecue one night. Reggi's was great. The service was outstanding. We were greeted upon entering and offered a free bowl of popcorn for my 3 year old, who was ecstatic! We ordered combo#1, which was shredded pork, baked beans, cole slaw and buns for 4. The meal was $14.99 and worth every penny. Additionally, we ordered two drinks, some cinnamon fried apples, and a slice of chocolate chess pie. The cinnamon fried apples were among the best I have ever had: still firm to the bite, but soft and wonderfully spiced. The chocolate chess pie was delicious, albeit a little pricey at $2.79, however, it's the owner's daughter who makes it by hand, so I am willing to let it slide a little bit. Other reviewers have mentioned the sides being too sweet: I didn't find this to be the case. The sides aren't anything to write home about, but they complement the smoky spiced pulled pork perfectly. Our meat arrived with two bottles of sauce to spice it up. One is mild and seasoned, but the other affords some more spice. I enjoyed combining the two for a balance of smoky and spicy! The food was great, but the service is what makes this so outstanding. Personal service, attention to detail and stellar service is upheld by all staff we spoke to. If you're hungry for barbecue in Jackson and want a truly home-like experience, there is no better place than Reggi's!

Very good, cheap and fast BBQ. Exactly why I was looking for when I came off the highway passing through Tennessee. Also the service was really friendly and everything was clean. Couldn't ask for more.

Great food, priced right, comfortable atmosphere and helpful staff! The waitress Simone (hope I spelled her name correctly) was lovely. The portions were large but not overwhelming. I got the pulled pork and brisket combo platter, and loaded fries with chicken to sample as much as I could. Pulled pork and potato salad were my favorite as well as the loaded fries. All the meats were flavorful and lean! I came home with leftovers and can't wait to dig into them tomorrow.

We stopped in for a quick lunch while on a cross-country road trip. I was relieved to see that brisket was on the menu as I am not a fan of pork BBQ. The meat was good and lean, and I really liked the sauce. My husband had a turkey leg, which he also enjoyed. If I'm in the area again, I will gladly stop in!

BEST pulled pork and brisket I've ever eaten. Customer service in the TOGO window was not the best. Def could've been better in that area. But the food is wonderful. Will definitely be coming back and hopefully receive better service next time. Ps. My sweet tea tastes like unsweetened.. yuck!
(4)Leigh F.
Great food! Great sauce! Owner was so kind that he gave me a bottle of BBQ sauce! Can't wait to come back and try the ultimate fries. Thanks Reggie!!!
(5)Frank D.
This place has Ok BBQ however I am very picky about my pork. The Brisket and wings are very much worth the trip and the money. The best part about this place is the smell of the smoker, customer service, and the must have BANNANNA PUDDING!
(3)Silvia T.
We had the brisket and the pulled pork combos and both were really good. The spicy sauce was also very tasty. Definitely recommended!
(4)Mireya G.
Great pulled pork sandwiches! The chicken tenders, fries, onion rings and coleslaw were awesome too! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Total cost for four of us was $25, which isn't bad in my opinion. If you're driving through the area, I strongly recommend this place.

Oh my gosh, Regi's pulled pork was so perfectly smokey and balanced with that natural yumminess of the pork itself! They have degrees of spiciness for their BBQ sauce, too. My uncle was impressed with their pulled chicken and the fact that it was all white meat! We also all shared Regi's Ultimate Fries--!! So satisfying!! Yum! Generous serving and perfect balance of creamy cheese sauce, jalapeños, pulled pork, and BBQ sauce topping fries. The customer service was really what seals the deal here! They treat you like guests, never stopped topping off our drinks, and spoiled us with hospitable kindness. Oh yeah-- and try the popcorn they serve you before the meal popped right in the old fashioned popcorn maker. It's buttery and salted! Totally loved Regi's :)

I stopped here on my way back home to Houston Texas. This is what you a call a real ma and pa business with a big heart. The owner was at location and we had a good conversation as well as I ate some real good wings and pulled pork sandwich. I am very picky and this place here really satisfied me. A must if you are in the area or passing by. A++++++

Reggi's was amazing! It was well worth the few miles off of our route to eat here for lunch! We had the pulled pork and the chicken strips for the kids. All the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The servers were very friendly and helpful and really wanted to make sure everything was alright for us. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Walked in the door, and my first thing I noticed is the faint smell of wood fueled BBQ smokers. For an old BBQ nut like myself, this was heavenly, but my dinner companion didn't like it too much. After 30 minutes in the restaurant, he said the smoke was hurting his eyes and he was ready to go. I enjoyed the smell, but its something to be aware of if your sensitive. I got the ribs and brisket combo (see attached photo). It tasted good, but the ribs were a little puny in size. One thing I have learned cooking BBQ is that BBQ sauce can cover up a multitude of BBQ sins. The ribs and brisket were covered in sauce, a little too much sauce if you ask me, but Im not a Tennessee native. Maybe thats the way they eat it here. I recommend it if you got a craving for Pork BBQ. the next time Im in town, I will definately give it another try.

Food is always good and flavorful. The smokiness of the meat always tastes good. The sides are also a good addition to the meals as well. Reggi himself has been there on a few occasions and is always nice and personable. The staff is very helpful, and friendly as well. We don't live in Jackson, just travel through every once and a while, and this is one of the places we usually stop at.

We overnighted in Jackson on our way home from Corinth and Shiloh. Reggi's was within walking distance of our hotel, which was fine with us, so we drove. This establishment must have moved out of some older digs to this new strip mall location, based on the photos on the wall. We found this to be a mediocre place for barbecue when compared with the fare we had just had in Corinth and Memphis. I'm sure there must be better such food in the Jackson area. We did not need a ton of food. Ms T had a jumbo pulled pork sandwich and I sampled a combo plate with brisket and ribs. The pulled pork was probably the best of the lot. It was moist, somewhat smoky, but Ms T ordered it with sauce and the meat could not stand up to the sauce. Maybe this is three star pork. The sandwich just tasted like sauce. The ribs were a below average effort. They were not really tender, just done. They were salt and rub free, just smoked meat. I'm not so much of a purist that I like ribs completely unseasoned. The brisket was in the 1-2 star range. It simply was not cooked long enough. It was solid and chewy. You could not give this away in Texas. I ate less than half and left the rest. It was also unrubbed as far as I could tell, but did have some smoke ring. I'm not sure what is used to smoke these meats, it had the taste of charcoal briquettes. I did not taste hickory or oak, it was more oily. Slaw, beans and potato salad are always secondary unless they are remarkable. These are very standard, overly sweet, cookie cutter recipies. Again, there just has to be better barbecue in and around a town this size in this part of the country. If there is a next time, I will go looking.

For the Jackson area, the barbecue is number one. Their desserts are delicious. Reggie's also has one of the hardest things to find in Jackson--CUSTOMER SERVICE! The folks at Reggie's are extremely nice, and actually value their customers. I've eaten here time and time again.

3/29/2012 - My first Tennessee BBQ experience. My first overnight stop from Columbus, OH to San Antonio, TX was in Jackson, TN. A local resident suggested I try Reggi's since it was close to the hotel I was staying at - it was a great suggestion. I tried a two meat combo; pulled pork and ribs. Between the two proteins - the ribs stood out; they were amazing. A great flavor and nearly fall off the bone tender. The potato salad was also noteworthy; great color and had some mustard kick to it - but not an over-powering mustard flavor. I hope to stop by again when I drive the rest of my family to Texas in a few months.

No alchohol, but no worries - the beef brisquett is more than enough to make up for it; possibly the best BBQ beef I've had.

I use to live in Jackson, Tn years ago when Reggi's was a small lil place off of Hollywood. On a recent trip, I stopped by his new place and the food is still as good as i remembered. I have eaten wings all across the nation and my favorite is Reggi's. The 10 wing combo is the best, in my opinion , tasting wings nationwide!!
(5)Keith P.
Love Reggi's first stop as soon as I get to Jackson. Big portions and delicious bar bq but, save room fore dessert! Best banana pudding since Mom! I usually get the regular pork sandwich because the jumbo is just that JUMBO.

My review is mostly about the service I received here. I've eaten at thousands of restaurants and I have never received the level of service I received from Michael. If we had any customer service jobs open I would have offered him a job on the spot. First he was extremely polite. Was very helpful with my questions of the menu since I had never eaten here before. After my food arrived he made sure I was happy. Now keep in mind this is fast food BBQ and not table service. I got the pulled pork sandwich and for $3.89 it's well worth the money. Is it the best BBQ I've ever had, No. But I never came here with that expectation. Knowing what it is, the outstanding customer service and pricing I gave it five stars.
