Good for what it is. For adults, it's $11.95 all you can eat. I tried many different items, so I will break it down with a recommended and not recommended list, simply based on my personal experience and my wife's. *** Recommended: Fried Chicken - Excellent! It was juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside (pardon the cliche) Steaks - for "all you can eat" it was pretty good. Well seasoned, cooked how you like it (I like rare). Not a fine steak house of course, but good for a buffet. I think it was top sirloin. Rotisserie chicken - my wife had this and enjoyed it, but the fried was better Greens - well seasoned, cooked just right, and had a modest amount of pork for flavor Green beans - cooked just right and well seasoned Black eyed peas - nice flavor, though slightly overcooked Buttery rolls - what buffet doesn't have delicious buttery rolls? (They want to fill you up) Macaroni and Cheese - nice, cheesy, creamy, but not overcooked. Very good Chocolate mousse - exactly as it should be Banana pudding - home made Salad bar - excellent selection for a small amount of space *** Not recommended Pot roast - bland and tough, despite being cooked in liquid Mashed potatoes - the texture was just wrong, may have been instant corn - way overcooked and bland coconut cake - dry cheesecake - wrong texture, I think they used some kind of filler to reduce the amount of cream cheese fresh fruit - not a good selection, the cantaloupe was edible, but the rest should be avoided There were other items that didn't look particularly good so I didn't try them. Overall, there are enough items that are good that I'd say it's worth it. If I'm in the mood for stuffing myself on buffet food again, I'd return. I'd definitely eat more of the fried chicken!

Tonight the restaurant is slightly busy and is a train wreck for 50.00 3 adults a 5 year old, they are out of most everything other stuff old and tough, trash in the floor, the managers are walking around like it's all ok ! No urgency no direction employees yelling like a day in the park with no regard to the customers, The food bar looks nasty as does the deserts, it is as if a child played with everything none for me just steak from the grill tonight as its the only thing we can trust! Talked to the manager she could truly care less. The steak was ok 2 stars.

Ryan's at one time was good but they have go down hill let me just say the potatoes were very watered down the green beans was swimming in grease corn not fully cooked carrots crunchy country fried steak taste like it was from yesterday and had been warmed in a microwave. It was one of the worst dining experiences I'd ever had bet this place closes with in a year unless major changes are made.

This doesn't even deserve 1 star. I have came a total of 3 times thinking it would improve. The food is processed and everything taste the same. The manager needs to be fired for ordering the cheapest food he can find. I wouldn't feed this crap to my dogs. Not coming back

What a complete disaster and a joke of a restaurant. My husband and I went here last night around 8 pm and waited in line (one register open) for around 20 minutes while the person running the register kept disappearing. When we finally got seated, I got a salad that tasted stale and old, which was a surprise because the salad bar is usually my favorite part of Ryan's. Needless to say I didn't eat it, but the food on the buffet was not much better. There was the usual fried chicken, fish, pot roast and sides and not much else. The mac and cheese had "skin" and the pot roast was mushy. The mashed potatoes were good. The worst part of the meal was the steak off the grill. Whoever they had running it last night should not be on the grill! My husband got a steak that was supposed to be medium well done, as in just a little pink. It was raw on the inside and seared on the outside. He went and got another and specifically told the cook how he wanted his steak. He cut into the second steak, and it was also raw. We requested a manager and waited forever for him. Yes, they were busy but the manager was working the dessert bar not even 10 feet from our table. I cant blame the poor waitress, she was spread so thin she barely had time to do anything. He was completely indifferent, maybe a bit annoyed at being bothered it seemed and didn't do anything but bring my husband a third steak identical to the first two. It was getting late and we didn't want to bother waiting for another inedible steak. We decided to go to the dessert bar and then leave, but I ended up sitting my plate down and leaving without getting anything because all they had was some dry looking chocolate cake, carrot cake, peach cobbler and cookies. No banana pudding at all. I decided to just go with ice cream, UNTIL I saw the mess in the floor in front of the ice cream machine that no one could be bothered to clean up. I understand people are going to spill ice cream, but there is no reason there should be chocolate cake smashed into the carpet and what looked like an accumulation of spilled toppings from the entire week. Disgusting.

I can't say this is the worst buffet I have been to, but it's definitely not the best. For a group of two children and two adults it was around average price a little over $45 with a pre-paid tip. ( since when is this acceptable?) I would recommend the fried chicken, fried okra and possibly the salad bar. I would not recommend the potatoes, pot roast, fish, corn or greens. The server was adequate for what her duties were: refilling our drinks. She didn't introduce herself. Definitely take some tums or Roland's with you and some hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were very nasty. Toilet paper everywhere, it appeared to have exploded. (Pardon the visual) Hopefully after my suggestion to one of the managers they cleaned it up. Sunday after church is probably not the best time to go. Just a heads up. Overall: ehh The bread and honey butter was good.

We reserved one of their meeting rooms, for a family event. Our server, was stretched beyond her ability to keep up; our group was small than expected. However, she was also working tables outside in the main dining area, so we had to chase her for refills and coffee. Our meals, were hot, and typical of a large scale buffet like Ryan's (or Golden Corral). Catch it when it first comes out and it is passable (no, we are not talking fine dining here. Just quantity over quality). Let it sit, and get picked over by the dozens of milling about patrons (think Zombie Apocalypse with plates and forks) and you takes your chances. Meh.

Good sometimes. They have southern style food there. They let me get however much I want of it. There are good days and bad days. The salad dressings are better now. The peach cobbler dessert was the best one, but the new strawberry sauce cheesecake was slightly better. The pecan pie is serviceable. The service is actually a lot better than a place like Cracker Barrel. I prefer this as a package to Cracker Barrel because it is cheaper with the ways that I pay for Ryan's, and Ryan's does not let me leave hungry. I eat vegetarian here now, though I did not use to. It is easy to eat vegetarian here. Plenty of good choices, many times much better, in their own way, than the other choices; but the way in which I eat vegetarian is less than strict. If they used ham bones in my greens I don't care. I feel that a fairly honest attempt at a vegetarian diet is kind to the animals, kind to my body, and Biblically ideal as in "originally intended". And if I can do something easily to make God happy, that is bonus points in what may not be a winning game. But why not give a God a few bonus points along the way to make God happy. It isn't all about winning. It isn't all about us. And God knows what is good for us. I don't know however what is good for you. Do what you think you should. The salad bar here has also greatly improved. I do not recommend fish frying the okra. Chicken fry it please if you must. Go for less salt in the soups and more veggie matter and flavor. When you make the Mac and cheese go for the cheese you have readily available out for the salad bar instead of the yellowish sauce. I do add more of the available cheese but it is not melted and it could be. Also the elbow macaroni is far better than the twizzle pasta. I like navy beans and they are cheap no? Great job on the sweet potatoes the other day.

White Trash / Redneck / Southern Nasty buffet. Southern crap from the bowels of some demonic monster that excrements terrible food. It's depressing and fills you with sadness that this place is part of our world.

I think I need a tetanus shot. If you plan on eating here plan on adding another $1.29 for Rolaids and a half a roll of Charmin to the overpriced $11.95 buffet. I worked from home today and had the TV on in the background. Three times a new Ryan's Buffet commercial came on with the new CEO bragging on the food and service. Great video of steaming pot roast and all the good looking sides and desserts. The pot roast got me and I decided when my son got home from school, this is where we were going for dinner. I told a friend of mine and she said "don't do it, the place is nasty and disgusting'. I wish that I took the warning and went somewhere else but I didn't. Cost was $11.95 plus a couple of bucks for drinks for each of us and then a pre-paid tip for whatever reason you tip here. Take a walk around the buffet tables and look down at the most disgusting carpet you'll see in your life. I understand spills of food but this carpet has old ground in food and nasty disgust of whatever is down there. Took my first plate and old food glued to it. Second and third plates same thing. Fourth plate looked okay, I guess. No pot roast on the bar tonight. Damn it. Without going into each item lets just say everything was room temperature. Not one item I had was actually hot. The meat I had was bite after bite of grizzle and cold. The string beans had no life left in them. Poor things. There was no seasoning on anything. The most bland food. How about maybe some salt or something Ryan? They had these little skillet type pans with mash potatoes and steak tips in them. Looks like a good idea till you sit at your table and take a bit. The meat was a rock and the potatoes cold. I was here at 6pm, prime time for eating so the food should be turning over fast and be hot. Not the case. I ate at a Ryan's several years ago and I guess I forgot what the experience here is like. If you go here take note that your "server" won't ask you how everything is because they really don't want to know. It's not a good place at all and I'll never return again in my life. For 12 bucks or a little more I could have gone to several restaurants nearby that would have had much better food.
