I see a lot of negative Posts about this location, but I've been coming here for a couple years now. The staff knows me by name, and they treat me like I'm part of their family. I've never had bad service here, even once. The only bad thing I can say is that I went in there this last Monday, and it smelled like paint, but they were painting, trying to make the place look better. I personally like this Ihop. I like the food, but I especially like the charming staff.

Probably my best ever experience at an IHOP. The food was perfectly cooked and the service was top notch. Great staff at this location!

IHOP isn't known for renowned for its food or service, but this one is by far the worst IHOP I've ever been to. My experience was that some of the pancakes had potato chunks inside them (and I don't like potatoes) and the strawberries were frozen. If you're not going to use fresh fruit, please make sure it's thawed out before you serve it. I bit into iced over centers of the berry. The people adjacent to our table waited a long time (and so did I) for their food, and when the food got there, they left--walked right out. Overall: really bad.

I would've given One star but taste of food was okay once I sent it back to have it heated! Service completely sucks here. Serious lack of management. Seemed as though all the workers wee huddled around talking where we sat for 6 almost 10 min after we got out food waiting on our waitress to give us utensils to eat the food. There was a sign on the bench in the waiting area saying the bench wasn't bolted down, so sit at your own risk. The food was cold and appeared kinda thrown together. Management asked is how out experience was..we told him not that great and he didn't even care enough to ask for the details so they could be corrected. I will never waste my time here again.

Summer time is iced tea time. I got a nasty glass of tea here last week. Smelled rank. Tasted funky. Decided not to chance it. Ordered milk. I strongly advise everyone to make sure to smell and make sure you not served tea that can make you sick. There are reports of illness cause by not cleaning tea urns correctly. I could have gotten severely if I had finishing that tea. I wonder how many drank it and wonder why they got sick. Better safe than sorry. No matter if you at a fine dining resturant or small hole in the wall.. Bad water and failure to properly clean results are the same.

Horrible service! Had to grab someone to seat us. Got to our table and their was a vacuum in front of it and we stare at it, then look at the staff like...Do you think we're supposed to move it? My turkey bacon BLT took at least 20 minutes and the bacon didn't look done. We left after only having sweet tea, which was the only good thing about this place Oh yeah, ALL the Black people were seated in the back of the restaurant...VERY NOTICEABLE!! We observed this with people that came in after us to see where they would be seated. SMH. The back had an odor as if the carpet needed cleaning. Stay clear of this place. Can't wait to get back to ATL IHOPS, where I'm appreciated. And I will be writing the company!

The chicken pecan salad was good. Grilled chicken, good lettuce, oranges and yum. Everyone else ordered omelets. The service was a little slow but this was a good visit.

The fruit and yogurt major failure.

Horrible! My eggs were undercooked and it took over 10 mins to get then redone, everyone else was already done eating. Then, my waffle was undercooked and the waitress and host didn't do anything about it. (picture uploaded to yelp already!) Will not be back here, mainly because they didn't care about our experience!!

You know what to expect, decent food, nothing great. Often a wait, but never too long, and the food comes out fast. Will keep in my rotation but never make a destination restaurant.

Service is awful every time we come. Hostess can't seat anyone correctly. Once your sat good luck getting service. Drinks take at least 15 minutes. This is not just a one time occurrence.

I had been looking forward to going to IHOP breakfast for dinner all day but after being seated for 15 minutes without anyone coming by even to take our drink order & watching a waiter walk right by us to the people behind us who had just been seated we walked out.

Service was terrible. Not just mediocre, but legitimately bad. Maybe it was just this one waiter, but everything was just wrong. We ordered a lot, and the food was reasonably decent, but the entire experience was ruined. First, we got an appetizer. I thought it was taking a while, but when my wife commented that it was a long wait, I knew it was a problem. We didn't even finish the darn thing between my wife, my two sons, and myself when the meal showed up. Not only did I have to wait for my pancakes to come out a while longer (no word from the waiter), but they forgot my wife's salad and bread altogether. Drink refills were slow; empty glasses were not taken, plates were picked up even though we weren't done using them; appetizer dishes weren't available AT ALL. I could go on and on. I'll be straight here, I've been to this place multiple times, and the service is just hit and miss. I'd sooner go to the the Steak and Shake almost next door, or to the Waffle House down the way: the service is better, the wait is less, it's cheaper, and the food is almost as good.

Standard IHOP fare here same as any other. Open 24hrs Friday and Saturday only though. Service is usually fast and most of the servers I have had there have been very good. Check out the Hamburger Egg and Bacon burger for lunch some time!

A nice IHOP just like any of the other locations. However, the Hermitage IHOP is only open 24 hours on the weekend. Beware!

Absolutely horrid! Whoever they have cooking is horrible. They can't seem to grasp the concept of "over medium"...just keep your money.

Ruth was an awesome waitress the food was delicious and everything was perfectly flavored and hot! This experience was enough to make up for the Mother's Day fiasco at the Antioch location.
