This place is great! It's a small house that has been converted, so there is not a ton of seats inside, but they also have an outdoor seating area. Plus they do a big business in to-go orders. I love the fact that you get a great tasting sandwich that is both unique and delicious along with great sides. I tried Hummingbird Cake for the first time today and it was awesome. If you looking for a great lunch that is fast and tasty, make this your place.

I went yesterday for lunch... I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner! The dining room is TINY! So if you don't want anyone to overhear your conversation, get a carry out! They do have outdoor seating for when the weather is better. The food is fresh, fabulous, & tasty! I will definitely be back again.

Two words: chocolate cobbler. You can win me over wiith those two words, and their chocolate cobbler should be illegal. It's soooooo good. Nevermind that I've had better chicken salad sandwiches. Nevermind my pasta salad left something to be desired (it's just noodles, shredded cheese, and lemon pepper (I think)). The chocolate cobbler was so good that it overshadowed everything and pushed my review back up to 5 stars. Now, mind you, I had a bite of my husband's Cuban, and it was really good. I might even say better than Panera's, and most days I want to marry Panera's Cuban panini. The service is great as well. I'm telling you, though, I will go back again and again just so I can get dessert!

Being that I travel on business, I tend to gravitate to the local places for lunches and dinners rather than the horrible chain restaurants. I received a tip from a member of our project team about this place, otherwise, I would never had known about it. Are there long wait times, and a lack of space in the dining area? Yes, but who cares. The lunches take you back to the days when you were a child and your own mother packed your lunch. Today, I ordered lunch and they mistakenly lost my order. The owner of the shop refunded my money and gave me an extra dessert for my troubles. Now , that is customer service at its best!! Make sure to get there before the peak lunch hour to get a table or order ahead. You won't regret it.

I love this little restaurant in a house on Main St in Hendersonville. It has been one of my favorite finds around Nashville for lunch. Family run and everything made with love, the quality of the simple lunches and desserts is outstanding. I always get the chicken salad sandwich. Fresh roll cut with an electric knife, chicken salad made daily. Awesome! Side dish is pasta salad made with angelhair, different and good. Finally the showcase of single serving desserts they offer. 10-15 daily. Pecan Pie, German Chocolate and strawberry rhubarb cobbler with homemade icecream are my favorites. Fruit tea is good too. Its kind of small and the health department recently forced them to add a second bathroom taking away several tables. There are picnic tables outside with umbrellas for nice weather. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in for lunch if youre in Hendersonville during the week.

I have had the pimento cheese and the cubano. The pimento cheese is amazing its a must try. Something about the pork in the cubano just didnt work for me. The rolls are really good. The pasta salad is a good side just add some salt and pepper. The chocolate cobbler was ok and so was the banana pudding. I am not real big of desserts and my grandmother kinda spoiled me when i did choose to eat dessert like banana pudding. If your not real hunger and have 10 bucks. Definately go here instead of the fast food joints.

I have to update for a great experience with this sandwich shop. I placed a pickup order a few weeks back, and when I got home with it, the sandwich was wrong. I'd ordered my fave, pimento cheese, but got egg salad instead. A big letdown, let me tell you. I called to let them know (in a nice way, everyone makes mistakes, and you can't correct them if you don't know you made them). The person answering the phone was very apologetic and asked if they could bring me the correct sandwich. I live a good 15 minutes from there and since they don't normally do deliveries, I could not ask them to do that during their busy lunch hour. I ate the egg salad (and yes it was very good, but not what I'd wanted) and a few minutes later the owner calls me personally to apologize. Now, I had not left my number with them, she went out of her way to look up the caller ID and call me back. She offered to take care of whatever I wanted next time I ordered, which I did today, and it is DELISH.

I told my Maid of Honor that she could pick the place for our bridesmaids luncheon the day before my wedding. She lives in Hendersonville but had never tried Itty Bitty so we decided this was the perfect time. This little restaurant truly is Itty Bitty, but we had no problem getting a seat. We each got a sandwich, side item, and a dessert and everyone loved what they ordered. The desserts here are fabulous and the portions were perfect. I've heard the hours are little odd, but next time I'm in the area I'm definitely going to stop by to see if they are open.

i finally found this place. took nearly six months to notice it and all i can say is WOW. affordable and very good. located across from the 363 building in hendersonville in a little house covered up by trees with a little bitty sign poking out. this place is only open for three hours a day mon-sat. so set an alarm to remind ya. its worth it. the bread is homemade yeast rolls. so light and fluffy u barely know its there. the pimento cheese is out of this world good. they dont have bacon in their potato salad.... but still pretty good. and the banana puddin. omg the banana puddin. its sooooo good. made from scratch and you can tell. you can also tell they whip the heck out of it. made it the lightest and absolute best nanner puddin ive ever had. anyways... i got there right at open i guess. in the 5 minute wait i had.... five or six people came in from call aheads and picked their order up with one couple sitting in the dining room. bet they did fifty bucks in business within first fifteen minutes of opening. so they are popular and very busy. dont ever see this place serving bad food from lack of business.

Itty Bitty Sandwich Shop is a hidden gem in Hendersonville. It is a family-run itty bitty lunch cafe with some great hand made sandwiches and desserts. They have a cute little apple-decorated dining room with some extra tables outside. My favorite is the Thanksgiving Sandwich with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry, though it is probably be seasonal. I have enjoyed their fresh, wholesome sandwiches on several occasions. The prices are fair, service is good, and owners are sweet. When I was there a couple weeks ago it looked like they might be trying to sell the shop.
