Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Wood fired pizza, one can't go wrong and they do it right. Also have local brews and different specials each night during the week. My 3 y.o. Loves the chalk board along the wall. It definitely helps keep her entertained so mommy and daddy can have a peaceful and pleasant dinner. Each time I've been in, the staff have always been kind, friendly and knowledgable of the menu.

I'm pretty fond of Brixx, so when the one in Mount Pleasant closed, I was really bummed! I went to visit my mom and LO AND BEHOLD THERE WAS A BRIXX! Unfortunately, it wasn't as great as the one I am used to, but we will get there. A group of 4 of us went in around lunch. They had advertised specials that I asked about and NO ONE seemed to know what I was talking about. Strange. The staff struggled to change the channel to ESPN for us and the drinks took an eternity to come out. We finally order and the food makes its way out. I chose the spinach and artichoke dip and the bruschetta. The spinach dip was yummy but the bruschetta was a HUGE let down. I'm not sure if they kitchen was hoarding the tomato or what, but it was 97% bread, 2% onion, and 1% tomato - no bueno. The pizzas, however, were great! We did the Mexican and the 4 Meat, 4 Cheese one. They were both overflowing with toppings and perfectly thin and crisp on the bottom. I would recommend checking it out if you don't get apps and don't expect great service - the staff was much more into chatting amongst themselves than helping us out.

Best Pizza in Hendersonville I cannot say enough about Brixx's pizza. Super high quality with fresh ingredients, great beer selection, and awesome service. I have always felt welcome there and never have had a negative experience. They have great happy hour and late night specials - you must check them out. My favorite is the Hawaiian and my husband's is the Mexican but the Buffalo pizza comes a very close second for both of us. We order take out from there at least once a week - pizzas always ready super fast, exactly as ordered.

Good service, pizza, and salad. I've been there with large group twice for lunch; once seated inside and then seated on the outdoor patio. Comfortable atmosphere with attentive service and really good food. I will definitely be back soon.

Hands down the Best beer selection and bartenders in Hendersonville. Relaxed environment but everyone there is attentive to needs of the patrons. Order the 4x4 and house salad. Pair it with any of the many IPAs on tap! Cheers!

I love this Brixx... It's right next to the movie theater in Hendersonville, so we can pound a couple of beers before we go see Hunger Games or Mad Max, ya dig? The pizza ain't bad either, for a chain joint. I really enjoy the California Veggie and Margherita pies... Pretty choice! It's only a slight step above places like Papa Johns... But it allows me to drink before the cinema and that's worth an extra half star.

The Greek pizza was delicious. We had a wonderful salad to go with it. This is a very fun atmosphere and it is right next door to the movie theater. Highly recommend anyone who needs a quick meal after a good flick.

Our server, Kenneth, was really excellent, very personable and efficient. We split a Brixx house salad (it's big) that came divided in two separate bowls with our own dressing on the side. Nice touch and very good, with little pistachios and goat cheese crumbles. We also ordered the Rosemary Chicken pizza. While the flavor was good, we can't help but remember Brixx pizzas tasting better because there used to be more toppings. It seems lately (last 2 times) they are being light handed with the toppings (little bits of chicken now instead of larger strips, a scattering of mushrooms not covering the entire pizza) so it effects the POW factor they used to have. As a side note, it doesn't seem like anyone was checking the ladies room, no bath tissue in, wouldn't you know it, the stall I chose. Sigh..never a good experience. Anyway, just OK...

5 stars for having a vegan cheese option for pizza! The pizza was good, service was good and a nice beer selection!
(5)Jamie D.
We came here because of a City Saver BOGO coupon. The server was actually really great in telling us that Brixx wouldn't charge extra for a pizza that was half one way and half another. So we got two pizzas done four different ways: Sweet Thai, Pear and Gorgonzola, four corners, and chicken florentine. To be 100% honest, the sweet Thai was surprisingly the only one with flavor. The other three tasted very bland, as if no seasonings of any kind went into it. Very disappointing. Fortunately, they had great happy hour specials will certainly helped not make the visit a complete loss. Great concept but I really think Brixx missed the mark on flavor.

We love going here for a date night or a night with our kids. Our kids love pizza ( what kid doesn't) and my husband is a big fan or beer tasting and Brixx has a good variety for the Hendersonville area. They usually have some form of drink special going on which makes beer tasting even better! I recommend the s'mores pizza for dessert
(5)Adam H.
Love the food, and the Sunday wine special (half off bottles). If possible, ask for Taylor's (girl) section. Hands down best server in the place!
(4)Dan A.
If I could give it a negative star I would! What they call pizza is worse than frozen 2 for $5 cardboard pizza. Don't waste your time or money.

Here is what I wrote them on their survey: Looking forward to good pizza in more convenient location than our regular haunts. Great environment, clean, attractive. Decent service, server was good too. Good selection of beers, good TVs. Good ingredients for pizza, love wood fired pizzas EXCEPT the crust was like unleavened bread. Dry, not crusty with chewy/softer inside. Seemed like dough not kneaded or raised so proteins in flour don't bind correctly or no air inside. Everything in experience was perfect except the crust and if you can't get the crust right, the rest can't make up for it. Better crust from delivery pizza which is usually pretty mediocre. In Nashville need to try 5 Points Pizza, NY Pie, Pizza Perfect, Sal's. In NY need to try anywhere. Comparable chain - California Pizza Kitchen, has crust that is quite good. Compare almost anyone else and your crust (on both mine and my wife's pizzas) falls way short. Wood fire is a waste on such a bad crust. Couldn't really believe it with everything else in place. Probably won't visit again unless you reformulate how you do the crust. It was a shame and very disappointed.

Excellent beer selection with a lot of local options. The pizza is excellent. The service was a little lacking as the server must have been new. All the servers must be high school students. Multiple confused drink orders. The restroom needed attention as there weren't any paper towels and the one toilet needed the floor around it cleaned.
(4)Mary G.
Love Brixx! We go here frequently for a not too expensive family meal. We love the buffalo chicken and hawaiian pizzas...try them out! Always a new beer on tap to try and fun to watch sports or the shoppers at Indian Lake.
(5)Rob C.
Stopped in tonight after a movie and had a great pizza and a beer. If your looking for a craft beer and craft type pizza you can't go wrong. I will be back and thank you for a clean place!
(4)Kristy S.
Easily the best pizza in the area, it's always consistent, the lemonade is great. This is our usual date night restaurant. The only.complaint is a few times we have been in, the manager (blonde guy the athletic type) was rude to.employess and seemed to rush turn over..otherwise it's alway a pleasant experience.
(5)Joy S.
Their Mexican pizza is my favorite!! They also have a great beer selection. Plus, they are conveniently located right next to the movie theater.
(4)Craven M.
Pizza was good! Nice tasting thin crust! Sauce OK! Cheese was very tasty! Great beer selection, but beer was kinda warm and flat! Turn the cooler cooler and beer won't fail ya! Service was good but wasn't really anyone in there! Cannot stand seeing flies in a restaurant! Lots of em! Big turn off for me. You know where flies come from right? Get that shit handled! Floor was like movie theater. I mean, they just opened and the floor about ripped my flip flop off! I call that laziness! LIke the servers don't realize that! Size of pizza is very small, one person could eat a whole!
(3)Dan M.
I went out on a limb and ordered their Mexican pizza. It was very good. This place has a great selection of pizzas along with a bunch of other stuff. So many of the new pizza/beer spots don't offer much else, but no Brixx. Their southwest chicken salad is awesome and the dressing on has some great attitude. Their number of tap beers they offer is somewhat limited. But what they had gave a decent selection for most.
(4)Ashli D.
A great place for pizza! The location is all the way in the back of the parking lot next to the movie theater. The service is great. They have huge booths that will seat up to 6-8 people. They also have a bar with bar seating area plus TVs. The pizza is thin crust with a wide variety of toppings. They also have other food items but I've only tried the pizza. Love it!
(4)Jamie U.
Love, love, love this place. They have the best greek salad I have ever had. It's right next to the theatre and everyone is always so sweet. My husband loves their pizza!!
(5)Kurt R.
I haven't been back here in a while. This is a great place though. The pizzas are a lighter version of what you might normally expect but you also don't leave feeling like you just ate a bread factory. They have a wide range of pizza types too. My wife and I went here for dinner. I had a small salad, a pizza, and a beer....hit the spot. The location is great and they have a wonderful patio. Very reasonably priced.

Stopped in for dinner to Brixx on a coupon. The restaurant was quite busy due to a Halloween event that was going on nearby but we were seated fairly rapidly. For an appetizer we tried the Brixx Stixx, which are just humorously named Bread sticks. They were quite good. For an entree I made the personal mistake of getting a sandwich that sounded very delicious. It turned out to be rather average. The Better half of the "Yelp Couple" ordered a Pizza and she shared a piece with me. I must say the Pizza was certainly better than the sandwiches. If I return, I would certainly try out a Pizza over the sandwich. If this is your first time, I suggest trying one of the Pizzas.

Nice place to grab a quality beer and pizza. Probably the best craft beer selection this side of Nashville. They have some beers on tap, like Dale's Pale Ale, that are hard to find even in some of the better bars downtown. I've always ordered the pizza so I can't comment on the rest of the menu. Pizza very good though! Bartenders are usually very helpful. Glad we have this place in H'ville.
(4)Brian C.
It is my understanding this location has been bought out of franchise by the original owner of this brand; and it shows. The Manager greeted us and was very attentive, and the bartender was knowledgable and very friendly. Furthermore, the food was great. I hesitate to say the patio was great because I don't want to fight for a seat in the future, but I'm sure it won't be a secret for long.

We had to leave. We did not feel welcome there. Don't waste your time and gas. We came from Brentwood.
(1)Kim L.
The pizza at brixx isn't the best, but it is conveniently located near the movie theater.

Visiting my boyfriend in the area and decided to stop in for pizza late one evening, he'd been there a few other times and said that it resembled our favorite pizza place back home. We both started with salads and then split a pizza. I had the Mediterranean salad and he had the house. He seemed to enjoy his, pretty simple. Mine came with no dressing, but the server brought some out upon request and it was fairly good. The portions were larger than we would have thought and both were served with a cold piece of bread. We ordered the artichoke pizza, and requested that it come with red sauce. We didn't realize this would mean no pesto on it. The ingredients on top weren't cooked at all and the bottom of the pizza was soggy. The sauce and cheese had absolutely no flavor. He said that it's been much better the other times he's visited, so maybe it was just an off night, but I wouldn't go back.

We tried this for dinner a couple weeks ago, as a dinner option before a movie. The atmosphere is very "Indian Lake", with a relaxed, trendy feel to it. Large televisions showed a football game for my boyfriend's entertainment, while the wine selection held my attention. The pita and pimento cheese appetizer was delicious, and we're still talking about it now. I have a feeling that it will be ordered again, the next time we go here. My pizza selection (Thai chicken) wasn't my favorite. Pistachios and goat cheese on what could of been a great Thai pizza was. My boyfriend also commented that his pizza had one or two extra ingredients that pushed it too far. We're not simple people, and we enjoy trying new things, but to quote Top Chef, "There was just too much going on with the dish". Convenience, service, and drink options tell me we'll be going back, but next time I may lean toward a cheese pizza.
(3)John B.
Mediocre food, mediocre service. Portions were generous, though few healthy options. Overall we were not impressed.
(2)Tonya O.
I love me some pizza, and I love me some thin crust, but Brixx just didn't deliver for me. I tried the Chicken Florentine Pizza. While the toppings were great, the thin crust was just too thin and collapsed even with the small slices. Eating my pizza with a fork was the least messy way. I did enjoy the bread sticks and sauce. Brixx is far out of my normal eating out area, so I'm probably not going to be there again, but I would give them a second chance.

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza is a chain restaurant that recently opened in Hendersonville in the shopping plaza known as the Streets of Indian Lake, right between the new Regal Cinemas and the Dinner A'Fare. They have a great variety of pizzas similar to the California Pizza Kitchen chain. The quality and choices are good and the price is fair. They also have a small patio, which is great when the weather is good because The Streets is an attractive shopping area to sit back and watch. In recent weeks I have had the following pizzas which have all been good: Pear and Gorgonzola, the Americo, Barbecue Chicken (a little spicy, not as sweet as I like my BBQ Chicken), and Chicken Florentine. I had the Margherita pizza in the past and wasn't too crazy about their version. They have wood fired pita chips with 3 varieties of hummus which I thought was very flavorful. Service and food has been great every time I have visited.
(4)Debbie G.
All six of us liked our pizza. We have eaten there several times. My two granddaughters loved it; they were each given their own pizza dough to play with while we waited for our food. They both ended up eating their dough and getting more. :)
(4)Traci J.
We drive from Franklin to eat at Brixx. Today was probably our 6th time there, and what a treat...every pizza was $5 from 11-5 (Sun) during football season. We got the Greek, the Hawaiian and the Jerk chicken which were all new to us and our must-have app the three hummus dips and pita. A few Yazoos and Magic Hats rounded out our meal for a whopping $35. We'll be back...again and again.
(5)Todd G.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Brixx. The Pizza was limp and tasteless. The salad was small and bland. The appetizer was sub par. Overall a pretty sad dining experience. Brixx is a mall restaurant. If you are in Hendersonville and want pizza then do yourself a favor and eat at Knead Dough Pizzeria, by far the best pizza joint in Hendersonville. Brixx is just bad pizza. Sure they have a wood fired brick over, but if you don't know how to use it properly and the pizzas are sub par, who really cares. Everything that we ordered fell short. I do not see us ever going back to Brixx.
(1)Joe B.
Great pizza. Lots of unique flavors. Reasonable prices. Some of the servers could be a little more attentive but in all, not too bad. We ate there twice last weekend!
(4)Melissa B.
Love, love, love this place! Great pizza, great service, and great beer selection. You will pay more, but you get a delightful, pizza that simply cannot be compared to other chain type pizza. These are gourmet, fresh, and wonderful. Our children loved their pepperoni pizzas. We loved the Bronx Bomber, which had: spicy Italian sausage, prosciutto, Gorgonzola cheese, tomato sauce and fresh oregano. And...we had the Spicy Shrimp that had: wood-roasted shrimp, roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, Cholula® sauce, goat cheese and fresh basil. We will be going back!!!
