I went here for the first time today and tasted the chocolate espresso torte, carrot cake, and lemon poppyseed cake. They were all the best I've ever had! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and there is an amazing variety of food I can't wait to come back and try. I'm beyond impressed and I can't believe I had been passing by this place for so long without going in! They put Starbucks and Panera to shame!

I am writing review even though I have never been there. My husband had a meeting there yesterday. Since I am gluten free, he always knows to ask new places if they have gluten free options. He brought home this amazing little mound of chocolate heaven! I'm pretty sure it was a flourless chocolate cake topped with ganache. Since I used to own a gluten free bakery, it is hard for me to find products that I think are as good as my own. This little cake was amazing. They offer creme brulee which is also gluten free. I will definitely take a little trip to Goodlettsville to get more of that amazingly moist chocolatey goodness!

The staff are very friendly. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) ate the turkey sandwich, veggie wrap, and gumbo. Everything was great!

We used this bakery for the first time for my son's first birthday. We ordered a little smash cake and whole bunch of cupcakes. I was swamped with things to do and gave only a vague description via email of what I wanted the cupcakes to look like, somehow they turned out perfect! They were cute little jungle animals to match our theme and tasted delicious! The smash cake was zebra striped and chocolate on chocolate, our little man loved it. Everything was reasonably priced and great. I can't wait to get in there and try everything else.

Trish Golter and Stacy Rickard have been selling sandwiches and more in their little Flourgirls Cafe since 2009. It's conveniently located in the heart of Goodlettsville next to City Hall. Their sandwiches are good, but unfortunately there are long-established eating places in Goodlettsville with better food for the same prices or less. They don't seem to fill a need. Applewood pork, pimento cheese and the ubiquitous chicken salad are three sandwich choices. Several salads including the Chef Salad with ham, turkey, bacon, egg and more on chopped greens are other choices. Bulk potato or fruit salad, or cole slaw to go is just over five dollars a pound.

Dear Yelp, I've been so put out with you lately that I pretty much abandoned you. Now, I found a place I was so passionate reviewing, I had to come out of my disdain for you and sing their praises. A few years ago, a friend had some cupcakes at her house. After eating them, I was giddy. As a yo-yo weight gainer, my inner fat kid LOVES some good cake. Good doesn't touch what this place does with food. Today, I picked up a cake and cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday. My mom, who like me is a cake lover, said, "This is the best cake I've ever had in my life." If you're looking for baked goods that not only look great, but taste even better, look no further and drive as far as it takes! Check out the pic of my daughter's Minnie-inspired cake in the photos.

My cousin and I stopped into Flourgirls for a quick lunch while we were antique shopping. We both got wraps, and they were very tasty. Their homemade pesto mayo was great on the turkey provolone wrap. We sampled their strawberry cupcake, which was delicious. Definitely worth stopping by!

I have wanted to try flour girls for such a long time and I did yesterday. We went in for lunch and sadly we were all let down. All the food was subpar at best. With that being said the lady who waited on us was very friendly and social. OH the HEAT!! It was so hot outside, hoping for relief inside. Nope! We were actually sweating as the have only one window unit in the cafe. I still have some hope and will try again but only for baked good. Also there display case was being worked on so the only goodies available were your basic brownies and such on the counter.
