The variety of candy apples were amazing. I decided on the apple pie one. It was absolutely the most delightful thing I have ever ate. The granny smith apple was huge and fresh. My husband got an ice cream cone. Turtle cheesecake. He said it was amazing. The place is slightly high priced but we'll worth it. They also had convenient to go containers for the apples. We will be back for our next visit!

Reviewing ice cream places is hard because there are so many incredible places in Louisville. So I can't quite give this place marks for having "the best" but it was decent and they have a lot of choices in ice cream, fudge, apples, etc. It was kind of lame that they make you pay for bottled water instead of offering cups. I guess that's to be expected in a tourist town. They excel when it comes to service, though. They are eager to let you sample to your heart's delight.

Love the chocolate ice cream. Everything is on the high side as as prices go, but the novelties are good.

Chocolate banana ice cream! We went in every ice cream place in Gatlinburg in search of banana pudding ice cream, my husband's favorite. We didn't find banana pudding but we did find chocolate banana ice cream here. He said it was great. I had the chocolate ice cream and it was so good that I didn't even care that I spilled some all over my white shirt. The line was long but it didn't take long to get through it. The service was great and pretty fast. Everyone was very friendly.

Chocolate, ice cream, fudge, weird little treats (I got a caramel-covered rice krispie treat), and long, long lines. If they only have one person at the ice cream counter, and the customer wants to try everything (or has 1+ kids), get used to the back of the head in front of you. Fudge samples are the same deal here. It's an okay place. And if you're looking for franchise opportunities, fear not! Their information is everywhere.

Great ice cream! Our first visit, employees were so polite and willing , for you to taste anything in the store. Will definitely go back!

Great service and the ice cream was delicious. $5 single scoop but way over portioned! Awesome value.

Try the Gatlinburg mud! Neat little store in the North end of the Gatlinburg strip. They make their own fudge, popcorn and ice cream. In terms of selection they probably have the largest and most diverse ice cream selection in town! This was the 4th ice cream parlor we tasted during our weeklong trip and really enjoyed it. You really can't miss the store front. As you walk by you are invited by the smell of fresh baked waffle cones. Irresistible! My daughters opted for the chocolate and the "Superman" ice cream. I tried the Gatlinburg mud which is vanilla ice cream mixed with caramel and bits of fudge. My next choice would have been the salted caramel. Prices were middle of the road but not as expensive as Ben and Jerry's. Definitely check this place out!

A definite stop for ice cream or fudge. It is a must for us, everytime there is one near by. My favorite is the Chocolate Caramel Cashew.

Awesome fudge! So many places sell candy but mark it as fudge--this is not that. Smooth and creamy, with thick slices. Everything in the store is clearly fresh and the place smells heavenly! Next time I will sample their ice cream.

A little taste of home (Michigan) in a tourist trap city. Scooped ice cream in dozens of flavors. I recommend the sea salt caramel. Fancy dipped apples, fudge, etc if you're interested. I wish they had seating but that's a lot of real estate to expect on the strip.

Great ice cream including blue moon which is hard to find in the south. It's right on the strip and it was always busy. My wife would not stop talking about her coconut ice cream.

Loved it. Had the Dominican Republic chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough. Both were creamy and delicious. Friendly staff.

I was really unhappy with our fudge. It was grainy and really hard on the outside. It was extremely expensive and not at all what I expected. I wasn't really pleased with the staff either. The girl seemed at best indifferent to us and at worst like we inconvenienced her. We picked this up on our way out of town. If I were still in town I would have asked for a refund.

Kilwin's is a wonderful sweet shop that serves up home made ice cream, fudge, divinity rolls, carmel apples, peanut brittle, etc. They have a window on the street so you can see them making the goodies. It smells like sugar inside the shop. I ordered a Rice Krispy Treat that had been dipped in carmel, rolled in crushed pecans, then pierced with a stick. $5.95 but worth every morsel. Skip Ben & Jerry's across the street and try Kilwin's instead.

How do I love the Kilwin's Ice Cream? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth of the cone and the height of the scoop. My tongue can reach, when sprinkles are out of sight For the ends of sugar and ideal dessert. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most hungry need, by sun and florescent light. I love thee freely, as men strive for thinness; I love thee purely, as they turn from sweets. I love thee with a passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's insatiable appetite. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost curves, --- I love thee with the extra inch on my hips, The pot in my belly! --- and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after sugar-overdose.

YES!!! I was so exited to see a Kilwins in Gatlinburg. Im from St. Augustine Florida and we have two kilwins, I thought it was more of a local thing I didnt know it was everywhere. here are some things thta i enjoy there. Peanut Brittle All of thier fresh made fudge Thier ice creams- my favorite is toasted coconut. In Gatlinburg I got some coconut haystacks and clusters. Just a little somthin to enjoy while me and my fiance' were hanging out in our room. Its right there on the strip, stop in and grab somthing sweet and you will be happier for it
