I love eating at First Watch because the ingredients is always fresh. The customer service is the only area I think could improve. We eat breakfast here a lot because of how great the food is. Every time it seems our waitress is blah.

I have had nothing short of 5-star service/food each and every time I've dined. I live in Florida, and the waitress Deb knows me by first name. Knows exactly what I want (Tri-fecta), and even came out to my car one morning, and served me a to-go cup of coffee, because I was unable to go inside, since I had my dog. This place is fantastic, and will continue to get my service, when I fly-in. Pro Tip: Their community tables are a quick way to get served!

Great food! I love going there for breakfast. I get the energy bowl which is fresh fruit with yogurt and granola. There is great food quality and even better service.

Good service. Good food. Pancakes were huge. Sausage links were tasty. Coffee was great! No wait. I would come back.

Very busy on a Saturday morning, the food was really fresh and tasty.Giod selection on the menu, I had the Fruit crepes with a muffin and my husband enjoyed a rather large omelet. Great you have a whole coffee pot and a bottle of water for each table as it is a real nuisance when you have to keep getting a top up. Highly recommend, just wish they has speciality coffees, it's an ideal location, I'm sure it would attract more cliental and would increase foot traffic to their restaurant.

Great brunch! This is our first time at the Franklin location but we had been to one before in Columbus Ohio. We didn't even know they had a location here and we're pleasantly surprised when we saw it. I had the eggs Benedict and my fiancée had two blueberry pancakes. The portions are HUGE and everything is very flavorful. The prices aren't bad either. $18 before a tip for both dishes and a coffee. We will definitely be back. Probably my new favorite brunch place in the Nashville area.

My family and I have lived in the Franklin area for a little over a year before we found "First Watch". We love the menu and the food is top notch. We will be back!

This is a really great "Fresh-fest" chain. Think real-food, real-fresh. Or if this helps, imagine a classic diner, then brighten it up, tidy it up, freshen it up, and serve fresh, healthy(er) and up-to-date but not frou-frou food for breakfast/brunch/lunch. That last paragraph... someone could execute that idea really badly. Someone probably is, somewhere hereabouts. But not here.

I very much enjoy First Watch. The name is deceiving. I didn't know it wasn't a weight watchers place until yelping for brunch selections. I would give the place 5 stars, but they don't offer mimosas or bloody marys for brunch. This place is, however, open every morning. So, technically, it's a breakfast spot with lunch selections. Their freshly squeezed orange juice was a huge plus. Thankfully, they offered 100% pure maple syrup to drizzle over my sourdough French Toast. I'd go here any day of the week!

Since this is the First Watch farthest from our house we think of it as "Second Watch", but it's just as great as the one in Brentwood. My very favorite thing about First Watch is that they use NoWait. In this modern age of technology its nice that you can finally queue up before you arrive. This is incredibly important when it comes to breakfast time. Nobody wants to wait in a long line for the first meal of the day, and First Watch solves that problem very well with this app. Foodwise, First Watch always delivers. It may not be Pancake Pantry, but Pancake Pantry doesn't use NoWait does it? No, it doesn't. So come here for a great breakfast and skip the line with NoWait.

The main squeeze and I came here after a birthday getaway celebration and condolence breakfast. Mouthful huh? Well Cliff turns 33 tomorrow (celebrated yesterday) but LSU lost to Alabama last night. Last night we graced Cajun Steamers for the first half of the game, drank a little and took it back to the hotel for the rest of the night. I needed a slight hangover breakfast but mainly me, for Cliff he was eating his feelings. Now that that's out of the way, we looked up on our trusty yelp app and found this was only 8 mins from our hotel. We saw the place was crowded but took it as a sign when we got prime real estate for parking. We were told it'd be about a 15 min wait, as we saw about 10 people in front of us. I asked if we could have coffee while we wait and whattaknow there's a coffee kiosk who handy-dandy little cups for your sipping/waiting pleasure. And ..... Newspapers galor! then, bam! It was Our turn to be seated, we waited a total of 5 mins. Other than the fact I had to have my back to a little walk through because there were no booths open was the only negative but you get your own coffee pot and water pitcher! We both decided on the Tri-fecta (definitely recommend). You get two eggs your way, one pancake/Belgium waffle (of any kind - it's huge!) and either bacon or sausage (turkey sausage available). I got over medium, extra sour dough toast, blue berry multigrain pancake, and turkey sausage. Cliff got the same but scrambled with cheese and waffle. Both got fresh orange juice so delicious and smooth. Oh and two orders of bacon. He's into that and can do that :-/ came out in perfect timing for us to chit chat about our night and plans for the day and then in First Watch fashion just in the nick of time before our hunger pains struck again. Prices were good and atmosphere was busy but not loud. Definitely recommend!

Big fan Great menu love the selection. You can eat healthy or pile on the calories. You're choice. Reminds me of something I would find in my native state of California. Although a chain. Feels local.

We had awesome banana, granola pancakes & waffles with some of the fresh sweet local fruit bowl.

I don't understand ppl are giving 4 stars here. We had a breakfast last weekend. Service was nice. But kids meal's chocolate pancake was too much chocolate in it. My son loves chocolate but he gets sick of it! Lol. I had Acapulco express. They are using pickled green chili. The omelet is sour. The sour taste with cheese combination is not pleasant for me. And what is chorizo?! Forget about it!!!!! We are not gonna go back.

Get the carrot cake pancake, easily the best pancake I had in my life!! Absolutely amazing!

When I saw a First Watch opening in a new strip mall in Cool Springs, I didn't know what it was. A coworker told me that it was a restaurant chain, a favorite of his for breakfast and brunch. I went not longer after it opened to try it out. It was clean, sunny, and full of people; exactly how a delicious breakfast spot should be! We were seated immediately on a Saturday morning. We had a great server who was fast and kind. I chose the Breakfast Scramble minus Hollandaise sauce: scrambled eggs, spinach, ham, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on multigrain toast. It came with a side of their seasoned potatoes and fresh fruit. It was all delicious, and I was really impressed that it wasn't greasy like many breakfast platters. It all tasted fresh and hot. There are at least ten other things that I want to try on the First Watch menu, so I know I'll be back soon! It's close to my office, so I may even make it a favorite lunch spot. Everything was reasonably priced (my meal was under $10) and tasty. I can't believe this is a chain restaurant! It puts other breakfast restos like IHOP to shame.

Been wanting to try this place out since they opened, and after a handful of unsuccessful attempts at even finding a parking spot in the entire lot, we finally decided to tackle the crowd by going a little earlier on a rainy Saturday morning. Even today we were quoted a 25 minute wait, which was about how long we actually waited to be seated. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, because I there are plenty of things I like here. But I gave them 3 because of the few things I think I would like to see improved. The service was friendly and pretty attentive considering how busy they were. I like that they have variety of menu items, including healthy choices. And they appear to use all fresh and local ingredients when available. They serve fresh squeezed OJ which was really good. I like that they also leave you a pot of coffee instead of having to wait on refills. However, I tasted my husband's cup and didn't really like the flavor of the coffee today. I ordered the Chimichanga, which was served piping hot and was delicious. It was more like a burrito, filled with eggs, white meat chicken, chorizo, onions, green chilies cheese, and avocado. I would have liked more eggs and less meet, but that's just my preference as I really didn't taste the eggs in it very much. It was topped with their vera cruz sauce which was delicious as well as some sour cream. My husband had the Bacado omelet, which had bacon, avocado, and cheese and served with sour cream and salsa. It was also cooked perfectly and was very good. I was a bit disappointed with the seasoned potatoes. You can tell they were sitting under a warmer because they weren't hot like the chimichanga and omelet. And the side of fruit was two pieces of pineapple and one piece of melon packed in a tiny cup with a few tiny grapes. I didn't ask, but next time, if they allow substitution, I'll get an English muffin or something instead of the potatoes. Overall, I was pleased and will return. I love pancakes but didn't try them on this visit. They looked really good from what I could tell. And I'm glad I saw them on other's plates, because they are really large, and one will likely fill me up. And I like that they actually let you order 1, 2, or 3 at a time! I hate when I have to pay one price for a huge stack that I can never finish!

My wife an I live off of McEwen and were excited to see yet another restaurant added to the area. First Watch is an excellent breakfast option and we will put it into our normal rotation with Wholy Crepe. We had tried to visit a couple of times, but it has been packed since opening. I'm glad to see them doing well, but it took us 3 or 4 tries before we got a reasonable wait time. We're not the types to wait 45 minutes on a meal. This time around, we went around 9:30 on a Saturday and had a 20 minute wait. One area that could be improved is their waiting/paying area. It is super-congested. They may want to start having servers handling the checkout procedures to limit traffic. The food was really good. I had the Bacado omelet which has bacon and avacado and was topped with sour cream. They also put an excellent salsa on the side. It was great and the coffee was also very good. The potatoes were fair, but not cooked real well. However, the overall meal and service were solid. They have a diverse menu with many healthy options and we will be back--when it appears there is room. First Watch is an excellent breakfast/brunch option. However, at the moment it is so popular that you may want to consider eating at non-peak hours. Go early if you want to avoid the wait. The food is really good though and the price is reasonable.

A nice breakfast/brunch alternative for Franklin. Seems very efficiently run, and while there was a wait, it was exactly the time that was promised, and I respect that. This is not a very hands-on restaurant in terms of your server, but when they leave a coffee pot and a pitcher of water, I'm totally OK with that. Carrot cake pancakes were good, very good even. Not the best I've ever had in my entire life, but good. Sorry, Cracker Barrel still beats them in my book unless I am in Folly Beach, SC and visit Lost Dog Cafe. Sausage is the plump links, I like that, too. And you've got to respect their coffee creamer a) quantity on the table and b) selection on the table. Lots of variety to choose from, and I know we'll be back. Glad to have them in town.

Quick take: Food: 4-4.5 star Service: 2.5-3 star Ambiance: 4 star Wait: 1 star Overall: 3 star I've been eating at First Watch for around 10 years now, however this is only my second time dining at one in TN and my first visit to this location. The food is of a high quality with above average serving quantities, but not 'huge' portions (this fits in line with them being a healthier option dining location). My qualms are the following: 1- wait time. We waited 40 minutes. However the entire time we waited, there were always open tables!!! In fact, the entire time we ate, I watched people waiting, even though the restaurant was becoming more empty. I believe they are creating artificial wait times to enforce this being the 'in' place to eat... Boo! 2- They were out of their specialty pancake. Not for the day... The week!!! What!?!? 3- the bathroom was out of towels to dry your hands (maybe I'm being critical here... After the partially false waiting line, this rubbed me wrong :-) 4- our server was friendly yet aloof. We were out of water for 5+ minutes (finally my son had to ask for refills). We had to ask for a check. Our table was full of empty plates for over 15 minutes. On and on... 4.5- to be fair, I heard another server go above and beyond with her table. Unfortunately, this is based on my service experience not perception of another's... The good: 1- The food! I ordered the Quinoa Kale Lemon Chicken Pesto salad. (I asked for it minus the chicken & they took $1 off when I asked if they could discount for no meat). It was uber tasty! The quinoa and kale were prepared perfectly! They had crushed tomato and seasoning... My taste buds danced!!!! We also split two pancakes: carrot cake and banana granola. They were cooked just right. Warm, fluffy yet hearty... No lack of topping here! Our kids opted to split a turkey bacon sandwich with a side of fruit. They enjoyed! 2- The ambiance. For a small space with tables being very close together, I never felt claustrophobic or crunched. 3- Waiting App They have an app you can download to track how many people are in front of you... This is handy! I'll say that I rate this location lower than the Naples, FL location and higher than the Brentwood location for food flavoring and quality, however the whole "enforced wait" thing I observed may be enough to keep me away!!! But I am already craving that salad again!!! Please thumb up/comment if you liked this review and I would count it a privilege if you chose to follow me as I review places I travel and visit. Thank you for taking the time to read! ~mp

Massive pancakes....good crepes, omelets, and sandwiches. I had a French toast Monte Christo (was a little disappointed). They make their own granola...it is pretty good.. terrible coffee...I am pretty easy to please with coffee....but this was bad. great service... Fair prices

They were out of the sweet potato hash we wanted but the alternative options were really good and service was good as well.

My favorite breakfast spot in Franklin! The staff are always friendly and efficient, and if you can't find something you'd like on the menu there's something wrong with you. Vegetarians actually have some choices here, too; not just pancakes. It's a bit noisy, but far more tolerable than J. Christopher's and the food is way better. Free Wi-Fi to pass the time during your 15-20 minute wait during peak times. Sign up for their emails and get a coupon for a free meal on your birthday as well as other frequent discounts.

This was my first time. I got the onion bacon hash w/ egg whites. And a Belgium waffle. Everything and I mean everything was beyond delicious. My only suggestion is that this is a meal to sit and eat at the cafe. I got mine to go and I can only imagine how this would have tasted if I had eaten it there. It was good but I believe the freshness out of the kitchen would have given me foodgasm after foodgasm yessssssss it was that good!!!!

Always a great experience there. Great food and several options for vegetarians/eggetarians. They gladly replace meat with other items.

This place was awesome! I had the Chickichanga, and it was really flavorful and just the right portion size. My wife had the Bacado omelet and it was perfectly prepared and really tasty. Our server was very attentive, and filled water and green tea without being asked and was very friendly and very deserving of her tip. We really enjoyed our meal and I'd come here for breakfast every day, if I lived in Franklin.

I REALLY liked this place. Lots of options and it was definite a great change of pace from something like iHop or Denny's. It does get very crowded though, especially around brunch time... So get there early!

I love First Watch! The pancakes are LARGE and fluffy and delicious. All of their egg dishes are scrumdiddly-upticous. I have not been for lunch only breakfast/brunch. I loved the pumpkin pancakes in the fall. The multigrain is good all the time! Breakfast scrambler is great! My only complaint I had in 5 visits was that my English muffin was too hard--maybe it was toasted too long? Maybe it legit was stale but whatever they replaced it with a perfectly great one!

Second visit to this location today. I've been to the B'wood First Watch several times. This one is the same/just as good. I've never had bad food at FW. Their coffee however, is pretty bad. It's supposed to be a big deal...famous coffee, if you will. But it tastes burnt. Things do feel a bit rushed there but I think that's because of the whole "close at 2:30 PM" thing. But if they didn't close after lunch I don't suppose they'd be called First Watch. First visit I had my go-to quinoa bowl and it was just as good as I expected. Today I had the superfood kale salad...very tasty. I wish those salads didn't add up to dang near 1000 calories though. Must be the dried cranberries. I started out with 3 stars but really, they deserve the 4th, because I am a fan and would never have a problem going back.

I'd been to the Brentwood First Watch a number of times. While the food at the Brentwood location was always great, I always had issues with the service - disinterested, slow, mistakes, being virtually all but forgotten about, and worst of all - the wait. I recently tried out one in Franklin, and am happy to say the Franklin location didn't show any of those signs. Everything was prompt, the staff was far more engaging and enthusiastic, and the overall experience was far better than it has been at the Brentwood location. I also look forward to taking full advantage of their patio when the weather warms up... The food is great - from the pancakes, to the sandwiches. Quality and fresh ingredients make for some delicious eats. Try it out!

I came here for brunch over Labor Day Weekend and it appeared to be very crowded, but we got a seat right away (just two of us)! The food that I ordered was delicious and the service was great. I ordered a chocolate chip multigrain pancake and eggs. I just ordered one pancake because it was noted on the menu that the pancakes are plate size...which they are. The pancake was one of the best pancakes I have ever had. I am dreaming of going back right now!

I had eggs Benedict florentine....the eggs were soup. Unless you can eat veggies and potatoes and be full get this. Otherwise don't get it. The eggs were not really there. I had to eat something else to get full. I won't eat there again.

Have eaten here twice and the wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The wife loved the Tri-Athlete and I had the bacon and onion hash. I would order this again and we will be back.

We had such a great breakfast!!!!!!!! Great coffee with great creamer choices. Lemon water was so refreshing! Ordered scrambled eggs, sausage links, and chocolate chip pancakes! Yum yum yum it's going to be hard not going here all of the time.

This was my fourth trip to this location. Every time the service has been mediocre. Restaurant was maybe a third full and took me three or four minutes to be seated. Staff walking by looked and kept going. I had the Monterey club and white chicken chili. Sandwich was good and the chili isn't white and really more of a soup than a chili. Had the strangest taste and not in a good way. I definitely would never order it again.

My family and I went here for brunch on Sunday. Y'all, I'm not kidding when I say these pancakes are amazing! If you are even somewhat a fan of banana, get the banana crunch pancake! One is all you need, and for a little over $3, it is well worth it. They are huge, taking up the plate. The service was great, always coming around to make sure we were alright. They also have fancy creamer, meaning name brand French vanilla and hazelnut. The atmosphere is bright and happy making me believe I'm on a Florida vacation. My kid brother loved his eggs and bacon, with good reviews from my mom and stepdad as well. It's great. Really, really great.

Another place that does the basics very well. We usually eat breakfast, so I'll isolate the review to that menu. They are always great at modifying things to fit our family's special needs, diet-wise. And it's consistently good. Worth the wait (there is usually quite a wait).

Terrible iced coffee and horrible oatmeal they used instant and it was dry and tasted like paste. To confirm that it was instant you could see 6 boxes of Quaker instant oats prominently displayed on the kitchen shelf. (Too bad I didn't see these first!) The omelet my husband had was fresh and our server was sweet. Not going back.

Quinoa with chicken, goat cheese, dried cherries, and balsamic vinegar based dressing was divine. My daughter's grits with andouille sausage and shrimp was incredibly tasty. We will return. Gotta try the quinoa with pesto chicken.

Great food and great customer service! Any problems were quickly resolved. We were told about a 25 minute wait, but it wasn't even 15 minutes and we were already being seated. Definitely recommend this place!

Very happy to see some healthy alternatives in the Nashville/Franklin area. The was a wait however for a party of 2 we only waited 15 minutes. The service good and the food was hot and fresh. I got the Chickichanga with eggs whites and it was amazing! The other person in my party ordered the Beefeater and raved about the Parmesan-crusted sourdough. We will definitely eat here again.

First and last time. Just finished breakfast. No biscuits or gravy in this market hard to believe. Potatoes were way too salty. My wife's fruit bowl-about half edible. Back to Cracker Barrel
