Traveling from AZ and this place has some of the freshest, best Mexican food I have ever tasted. Fajitas Guadalajara with steak, chicken, ribs, shrimp and chorizo with fresh corn tortillas - YUM! The only low for me was the margarita, everyone at the table agreed it tasted more like sour mix. Go for the bahama mama instead. Fast service, reasonable prices, great food.

Stanard mexican fare. Come for the Kareoke and Grande Dos XX Amber drafts. I like the verde sauce on anything because it's different.

As far as "Mexican cuisine" goes, this place is pretty basic. I, however do not really judge an establishment on simply it's decor. After all, I and most people will withstand the basic birthday party like decorations if the food is good. I do dare to say that If you closed your eyes, it would taste about the same as any Mexican place. The service however....... This kinda puts them toward the bottom. Look, there are basically 3 other Mexican restaurants within 10 minutes. But to order, have three glasses of tea, a quick change of "more chips?" about 4 times and still wait 55 minutes for the semi- warm food??....... Nah. Sorry, I'm a consumer and I like good food and even better service. I wouldn't return. Respectfully.....

This is a decent Mexican place... However I don't like spicy foods which may make me less "authentic." Chicken is very juicy. I have heard the chile reyeno is spicy. I like it because it's close, not crowded and has quite a few TVs. Karaoke also. Good for families.

This little building, once home to the 80's pizza night known for the big screen tv, Mr. Gatti's, has been cursed since before the Gatti's moved out and Noodleriffic moved in. If the Exterior paint schemes of this building haven't been the topic for countless Franklin codes meetings, I'm sure there have been discussions of how to condemn the building and put a park where it stands. So on recommendation from a couple of friends, who we used to trust, we thought we might overlook the garish orange paint job and give el Guadalajara a try. Soon we discovered why the after church crowd at Pueblo Real will have a thirty minute wait by 12:30, whereas El Guadalajara had more staff than patrons in a dimly lit, empty restaurant. The color scheme continued inside, and while the menu had some more authentic items on it, the standard fare of speedy gonzolas and numbered combo was the rule. I had some street tacos, which were passable and authentic, but mostly greasy and bland. The rest of the family had burrito combo plates that appeared bland and whose components ran together in an indistinguishable pile of blah. All in all, I think this little building behind the Wendy's is destined to "meh" until someone knocks it down and removes the curse of the Gatti's.

Very good Mexican food, good menu, excellent service, reasonable prices, good location, and okay setting. We have been there before and will return. I really like their shrimp fajitas along with a margarita.

I go there for the Gold Margaritas that make your socks roll up and down. Omar has waited on us for a long time and we visit to support him. The food is at least as good as the other Mexican restaurants in town. I particularly like the Grilled Shrimp wrapped in bacon which is covered with green pepper, onions, and cheese. Oops! I think my heart just stopped. They do catering as well. Give the bright orange building that you can see from space a try and have a gold or two.

We stoped in on the way to the airport...I can only say that we are so happy we did! This place was great! I got the chicken fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken burrito, both were seasoned perfectly, vegys al dente all perfect. I only wish there was one like this in San Digeo where we live.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
