Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Pizza is one of those personal things, that everyone has their own specific kind they prefer. I get that. I love New York style pizza. This is the best pizza I've eaten since moving to Tennessee; it's also one of the better pizzas I've had period. This is New York style- super thin (and delicious) crust, huge slices, lots of cheese- the kind of pizza you fold when you eat it. The crust has a very good consistency, not too light not too dense- it's pretty perfect. And the cannoli's are the real thing- perfect pastry and filling. I just wish they were open later, and delivered at night.

Wanted to love it but nothing special about the pie at all. It was heavy, greasy and unmemorable, maybe the best you can do with all Sysco ingredients. The cannoli was good though. Hope the figure it out, would love a light, fresh pizza joint.

I ordered from here for the first time. I got a large spinach pizza. My pizza was very salty. I didn't like it. The only thing I did like was the crust. But the staff is very quick and friendly.

This used to be our families favorite pizza place. We order from there 2-3 times a month. The pizza is still better than most that we've found in the Franklin area, we have noticed a number of things continue to decline. Specific examples: 1) Speed of service. There have been a number of times that we will order and be told that the pizza will be ready in 20 minutes. When we arrive 15-20 minutes after placing the order the pizza hasn't been made yet. 2) Topping portions. We have noticed that on the specialty pizzas, it is becoming common to find "one or none" of certain toppings on many of the pieces. 3) Our orders are incorrect. For example we recently ordered a vegetable pizza and we were given a cheese pizza. We are now looking for a new pizza place.

I recently purchased a Groupon for Brother's Pizza, and we decided to give it a try tonight. We ordered a Crete pizza, Veggie pizza, and a Greek salad. The salad was your basic Greek - iceberg and romaine, feta, kalamata olives, and onions. The balsamic vinegar dressing was very good. My very picky 2 y/o even ate the salad and asked for more. The Crete pizza was pretty disappointing. The sun-dried tomatoes were tough - like they were dry packed instead of oil packed. There also wasn't enough feta on the pizza. I was expecting more. We ordered the olive oil base, and it wasn't bad. Overall, the pizza was just okay. It wasn't greasy, but it wasn't awesome. We won't order that one again. The veggie pizza was pretty good. It wasn't loaded down with veggie, which is what I was expecting, but what veggies it did have were nice and chucky. This one comes with marinara, and it was fantastic. It was fresh and flavorful - I could even taste the oregano. It's truly the best pizza sauce I've ever gotten from a delivery/carryout pizza place. People should know that this is a "New York" pizza place. The dough is hand tossed, a bit sweet, and more bread like. It had a good taste to it. However, it was a bit tough, as though the dough had been over worked. For toddler and folks with dentures, it might be a bit hard to deal with. Even when I tried slicing the pizza into smaller pieces for my 2 y/o, my pizza cutter even struggled to slice through it. Be prepared to chew. Brother's won't be our main pizza place, but when we're wanting a good salad to accompany our pizza or some pasta, we'll definitely hit them up again. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're about a mile from our house and we have more groupons!

Pizzas here are always great-love the "Take and bake" concept-good toppings, and the Gluten free is a plus .Prices can be a little high-last time I picked up a Gluten free and an Extra Large combo the tab was over $30,but I guess that is not totally unreasonable. Staff are always friendly, and online ordering is a snap!

Have eaten here a couple of times & it's worth a try. Jackie's review mentions a recent Groupon. Groupon offers great value for consumers, but it's a really mixed bag for the businesses. So Jackie, sorry that you had a bad experience but that sounds more like a byproduct of a rush of customers cashing in their Groupons than anything else. My son plays travel soccer and we frequently end up playing games at the Williamson County soccer complex on Downs Blvd (less than a mile from Brothers). Any time that we play games off Downs Blvd, my son always wants to go to Brothers after the game for a pizza. After games means that he's starving - so I usually call ahead & order the pizza. The guys working here are always very friendly & helpful when I'm placing an order and asking for it to be ready at a certain time. Pizza is solid - not a game changer or anything fancy - but solid, reliable pizza made by a local business with good intentions goes a long way in my book. I'm sure there are times when this place is absolutely slammed and the tiny space could fill up quickly. It's typically young men running the place when we've been in - and while they couldn't be nicer, they are just young guys so sometimes it's not perfect service. But the 'za is good, and as previously mentioned, these are good people trying to do more than just make a buck - so give them a chance (and be patient if you're redeeming a groupon - remember the business only gets a portion of the price you paid, so they may not even be breaking even).

Wow. 2 words: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I just created a yelp account just to write this horrible review. My husband and I are visiting family in Franklin and just wanted to have a quiet evening in and order pizza--to avoid the drive out...Ouch. What a freaking nightmare. I wouldn't eat at this place if they were giving the food out for free. I found them online and blindly decided to give them a try. I attempted to order online, which gave me an error message at the end and I had to call (hopefully I won't be charged for my first attempt of order). When I called, I was greeted by a character from a Cheech and Chong movie (you know the ones I'm talking about) who seemed a little confused when I asked to hold one veggie and add another...not rocket science, people. He FINALLY repeated my order correctly and I thought, "Hey, if he has the munchies and works there, it must be good, right?" Um, no. An hour later Cheech arrives at the door with ranch dressing all over him and our pizza box. "Oops, sorry" he says and abruptly wiped off the box. When I opened the box after getting to the kitchen, I noticed that the veggie that I said to hold was PILED on the top of the cold limp pizza. I mean PILED deep...wtf. Cheech had already taken off, so we had to hop in the car and drive to return the pie. Only one thing went ok about the entire experience, they refunded our entire order--but not the time & gas that went into this debacle. And I'm not a picky person..........

Great atmosphere and salads - esp. the greek. Pizza is good, but not quite as good as Mellow Mushroom. Service is a little slow. An all-around good spot if you're close by, but not worth a trip across town.

Big improvement over the last pizza place. Actually better than some pizza I had in New York.

Let me start off by saying Brooklyn Brothers is an improvement from it's former Brothers Pizza. The pizza is good with the crust being thin and crispy most of the time. Honestly, my issues are with the prices and the staff. We ordered two 12" pizzas....one was pepperoni, the other a margarita. Our total was $35.00 Seriously? Like....for real life?? Is this made with all organic ingredients? Then maybe.... Meanwhile while we eat our pizza, we get to sit there and listen to the staff argue and bicker. The girl making the pizza is just ticked off about her life and the fact she's making pizza. The other people stopped bickering and she just kept on. Your customers DON'T want to hear this!! (this is the 2nd time we've had to endure the arguing while we try to enjoy our dinner) When you walk into the place....they're pretty much indifferent on whether you're there or not. The owner walks around and asks how you like your pizza which is great but I think he needs to find a few people that actually want to be there. Meanwhile we'll be looking for a replacement.

The pizza is great but the service is mediocre at best. The staff is young and pretty indifferent towards you. Kind of makes me not want to come back but I have for the pizza. The crust is thin and perfect for folding over. It's totally different from the previous Brothers pizza - different owners, different style pizza. This is a New York, crisp and flat pizza. It's very good. Seems legit. I'd much rather support a small mom & pop pizza place as opposed to a chain.

We just moved to the area and decided to try their works pizza for dinner. Wow! Best pizza I've had in a very long time! I'm so glad this place is in my neighborhood. I can tell I will be a regular customer!

One of the best pizza's you can find in Nashville. New owners know how to make a pie. I'll drive all the way from Bellevue to get some pizza here. The owner, Michael and his daughter, have made pizzas at NY Pie since they opened and are now out on their own. The quality definitely shows and Michael is always making up other dishes to try out besides the pies. Check it out. You will be surprised how good it is!

Couldn't order a large pizza as they ran out of dough. Ordered a small Veggie pizza off the menu but it was more like an olive pizza. Couldn't taste any of the other vegetables through the layers of olives.

Not amazing. I'm going to give an honest take from a Chicagoan who has actually had a lot of really good pizza. I really was hoping this was the answer to Franklin's minimal pizza options. It's not as bad as Brother's was but I wouldn't call it the best in Nashville. I love a good thin crust but this was pretty limp, not much flavor overall. It's decent, give it a try but don't set your expectations too high

Brother's is a consistently good pizza. Always made to order, my kids like to sit at the bar and play with some dough while they watch their pizza be made. I think their take and bake is almost better than their in store pizza. I like to pick one up and finish it with my own steak or bbq. Great local atmosphere that feels like it could be a 50 year old joint in a new york neighborhood.
